<title>MBA Students Increasingly Value Social Issues, Says Study</title>
<link>http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/findmbanews/~3/276361066/mba-students-increasingly-value-social-issues-says-study</link>
<description>The Aspen Institute Center for Business has published a survey of MBA students at 15 business schools, which reveals that while salary is still a high priority, a business&amp;#039;s social responsibility is emerging as a top concern, especially among women. Getting a job with a positive impact on society, however, decreases for men as they move through the MBA program. The findings also suggest that while students&amp;#039; values may be changing, &amp;quot;many of them sense those beliefs are not valued by employers or linked to career opportunities.&amp;quot; The survey, &amp;quot;Where Will They Lead? MBA Student Attitudes About Business and Society&amp;quot; involved nearly 2,000 students at 15 business schools in the USA, Britain, and Canada. The last survey was conducted in 2002. The 2008 survey can be found here .&lt;img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/findmbanews/~4/276361066" height="1" width="1"/&gt;</description>
