Looking back at the game, I have to admit it was horrible.<br /><br />If you have a Nintendo Wii, you might as well just save your money. This game made the reallly <a href="http://www.emobucket.com/">emo</a> when I found out how unrealistic and easy it was. The controlls are wobbly, and the interface lags. To land the fish, you must keep adjusting your rod with the on screen prompts, but the prompts lag.<br /><br />For now I'm going to stick to online fishing games. At least they know their place.<br /><br />If you happen to have Zelda for the Wii, there is a short mini game that involves fishing. Big Mouth Bass 3d has some really good aspects to it and the gameplay is great. Gameplay is very smooth, and even the trial version is a whole lot of fun.<br /><br />Unlike <a href="http://fishinggame.blogspot.com/2007/07/big-catch.html">Big Catch</a>, there is no shakeyness and everything is pretty smooth. The casting method is better, and you are on a boat in Big Mouth, while on Big Catch you are stuck on the bank. Compete in a 3 lake challenge, or free fish for bass, crappie, pike, trout, and huge carp.<br /><br />The user interface is easy to navigate, and the graphics are superb for a flash game. Actual game play is pretty advanced and this game was not just thrown together. When catching fish, the 3d graphics can get kind of sketchy, but it doesn't detract from the gameplay.<br /><br />Unlike other fishing games, you do not fish from a boat. Instead, you fish from a single spot on the bank. You can turn left and right, but you can not change your physical location, which really doesn't matter.<br /><br />This is one of my favorite online fishing games ever.
