Short answer: Yes, but it depends how badly you want to succeed. If you commit yourself and follow the program, you could be seeing some really amazing results in just two months (60 days is not to much trust me). Many people have did it and there is no reason why you shouldn't.&lt;br /&gt;

There are many amazing transformation stories all over internet, and most of them come from normal people, not fitness trainers or professional athletes, proving that anybody can have same or even better results in very short period of time. The method behind Insanity is called "&lt;a href="http://www.healthguidance.org/entry/14938/1/MAX-Interval-Training.html" target="_blank"&gt;max interval training&lt;/a&gt;". You may have heard of interval training but this is different. Most interval workouts are moderate cardio-based exercises with short, high-intensity intervals. But in max interval training your moderate-intensity exercises gets replaced with maximum-intensity exercise, and your short intervals of intensity get replaced with a short period of rest. So you are working harder and longer and resting less. Interval workouts allow you to beat what's known as the "stress adaptation response".&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When you keep exercising at the same level of exertion, your body quickly gets used tot the effort and stops improving. That's why many &lt;a href="http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/fitness_articles.asp?id=1032" target="_blank"&gt;aerobics plans&lt;/a&gt; don't give you the weight loss and performance gains you want. But when you add in high-intensity exercise, it forces your body to use fast-twitch muscle fibers not normally engaged in cardio exercise. As a result, you'll experience faster increases in fitness and more efficient burning of carbohydrates and fat.&lt;br /&gt;

This is more of a well-rounded, long-term, sensible eating plan, and there shouldn’t be too much trouble once you get here. This plan can also be used as long as you like if you’re feeling great, have plenty of energy, and it seems like you’re making overall progress.&lt;br /&gt;

Of note is that this phase should be tried at some point, even if you feel good in Phase 2. &lt;br /&gt;

Many people hesitate to move on to this more carb-heavy phase fearing that they’ll gain weight, but that's not the case. They found that as soon as they tried this last stage in P90x diet plan, they had much more energy, worked out even harder, and had better final results. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So please keep that in mind and don't be afraid to move on to this phase, even if that means you are going to eat more "carbs". If you put a little weight just switch back to Energy Booster Phase and eat more protein based food.&lt;br /&gt;

Daily Caloric Needs&lt;/h2&gt;
Figuring out your daily caloric needs is important before you start with P90x workout program. This is going to be a guiding factor in your food intake.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1: Calculate your &lt;a href="http://www.shapeup.org/resources/rmr1.html" target="_blank"&gt;resting metabolic rate&lt;/a&gt; (RMR). This is basically the number of calories you need to breathe, pump blood, grow hair, blink—be alive.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;u&gt;Your body weight x 10 = RMR (in calories)&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2: Calculate your daily activity burn, the calories required for daily movement apart from exercise. Keep in mind that all lifestyles aren’t created equal. A construction worker will have a higher daily burn rate than a computer programmer, so this figure should be treated as a ballpark estimate. You will probably need to do some personal adjusting to get it perfect. Don’t worry, this will become more obvious than you think once you get going.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;u&gt;Your RMR x 20% = Daily Activity Burn&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3: Add the calories required for your exercise needs, which we have calculated at 600 calories per day for the P90X program. Add it all up and you’ve got your energy amount.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;u&gt;Your RMR + Daily Activity Burn + 600 = Energy Amount&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4: Now use your energy amount to determine&lt;br /&gt;
your nutrition level in the table.&lt;br /&gt;

Body weight depends 80% on your eating habits and only 20% on exercise, so by only exercising and not changing your diet won't get you far, unless you're already eating right. Does P90x Work for Skinny Guys?&lt;/h2&gt;
As a skinny guy, you have the advantage of not needing to lose much weight so you can focus on building muscles. Many times during workouts &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Horton_%28exercise_instructor%29" target="_blank"&gt;Tony Horton&lt;/a&gt; (creator of P90x) talk about the 8-10 or the 12-15 rep. In other words, if you want to build muscles you need to lift more weight, so your reps are always between 8-10. If you don't feel a burn on the 8th and 9th reps then you will not get results. Not only you'll lose weight but you'll lose muscles also. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Another important thing to remember is that you need to eat more protein based food, because proteins are needed to build muscles. Rule of thumb is that you need 0.5 - 0.8 grams of protein per pound of your body weight (1.2 - 1.7g/kg). In essence, the more you exercise, the greater your protein needs will be. Although the Insanity" was released in July 2009, it's still one of the most popular "workout fitness programs" in the world. It's the 60 day ultimate cardiovascular exercise system developed to help you lose weight, burn calories and excessive body fat in a very short amount of time. The beauty of it is that you simply don't need any equipment, because your own body provides the resistance.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Shaun T, fitness expert and creator of insanity, uses the science of "&lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training" target="_blank"&gt;maximum interval training&lt;/a&gt;". Typical interval training workout is consisted of doing long periods of moderate exercise, after which you switch to short bursts of much more intense exercises in-between. "Max interval training" is the complete opposite. You'll have longer periods of very intense exercises with only short breaks in-between. The reason behind this is to have your entire body working at its maximum capacity for as long as possible (this will bring great results).&lt;br /&gt;

Program is broken into two four week segments with a recovery week in between. In the first month you have lighter (I use that term&amp;nbsp; loosely..) workouts: Fit Test; Plyometric Cardio Circuit; Cardio Power and Resistance; Cardio Recovery; and Pure Cardio . In the second month you have much more intense workouts: Max Interval Circuit; Max Interval Plyo; Max Cardio Conditioning; and Max Recovery (your body will beg to go back to the first 4 weeks).
