Flex consultant job description:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be responsible for developing in Macromedia Flex. In this role, you will contribute to the architecture, coding, debugging, and product release for solutions developed in Macromedia Flex.@ Strong OOP and Actionscript skills are required.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers to develop feature requirements.

Write feature specifications and gather and incorporate specification feedback from QA, engineering, marketing, and other departments.

Develop task lists and schedules based on completed specifications.

Code features with great quality, meeting the agreed-upon schedule.

Work with QA to provide test builds and resolve all blocking issues identified by QA.

Work closely with teammates to solve problems, transfer knowledge, and develop overall product architecture.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Requires a minimum of four years’ industry experience in OOP.

Experience with the following technologies: Flex, Actionscript, Java / .NET / C#, SOAP, web services, HTML, CSS, XML, RSS, Flex, Eclipse Platform.

Knowledge of design patterns.

Knowledge of Flex Frameworks (Cairngorm, FAST) a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.

Commitment to the highest levels of quality.

Demonstrated ability to work with accuracy and thoroughness.

Ability to work with integrity and to uphold ethically and continuously
organizational values.
