YouTube has become the stomping ground for some incredible content and low-budget films, and this post-apocalyptic trailer is no exception! Hit the jump to see what the world is like after fresh air, along with those remaining having to survive creatures that feed on humanity…

Sons of Chaos is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie directed by Mathieu TURI, and was made on a shoe-string budget of only 3k. It was presented to various internationnal Film Festivals throughout the world (U.S.A, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, Australia) and has been selected at the SITGES FILM FEST in 2011.

Here is the prologue from film to fill you in on the background plot:

“Biological War has put an end to the world we used to know. The Air is now toxic to mankind. And the survivors are a mere thousand.Organized into clans, they try to overcome bloodthirsty creatures called the howlers. Every man who wants to protect the people must undergo a dangerous training…”

The nominees for the 84th Academy Awards, taking place on Sunday, February 26th, 2012 at 7pm, were just announced this morning.

Not that many big surprises here if you watched the Golden Globes a few weeks ago. Although notably missing are actors such as Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender and actress Tilda Swinton.

The Duke of Edinburgh is an accomplished bird photographer, writer, and wildlife advocate. Due to his extended time spent on the royal yacht, Prince Philip began photographing rare seabirds. In 1962, he published Birds from Britannia, a collection of pictures of some of the world’s rarest birds. Additionally, Prince Philip later became president of the World Wildlife Fund.
