Sideshow have doubled their efforts it seems and we get a glimpse of a ROTJ 30th Anniversary Sixth Scale figure. The Sideshow Exclusive version of the Darth Vader Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure will feature an additional swap out of Darth Vader’s severed gauntlet and hand.

With this unique gauntlet accessory, you can represent the climactic battle between father and son from the conclusion of Return of the Jedi, moments before Anakin’s final redemption.

The Exclusive Darth Vader Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure will be available for Pre-Order on Thursday, May 23rd, 2013 in the weekly Sideshow Newsletter, which is typically published between 2PM and 3PM (Pacific Time).

One Big Solo! Well compared to the smaller size version : )
Although Kubricks have captured the interest of collectors all over the world, MediCom focuses primarily on the Japanese market, to the extent that MediCom’s online store ships only to Japanese addresses.

Furthermore, Kubricks created as promotional items are not officially sold at retail in Japan. Many pieces are distributed as a part of a larger promotion, such as the Wolverine figure released to commemorate the film X-Men 2: X-Men United (only available as a limited edition promotional only giveaway with advance ticket purchase for the cinema), or the Master Chief figure, offered as a not-for-sale promo exclusive in Japan for the Halo 2 video game. I bought this many years ago and despite wanting to let it go, it still remains a great figure.

Disney Channel gets the one-hour premiere of this new Star Wars animated TV show 'Star Wars Rebels' set between Episodes III & IV. The show then trasnfers to Disney XD. Lots of X-wing Rogue Squadron ties ins possible! Executive produced by Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes), Dave Filoni (The Clone Wars) and Greg Weisman (Young Justice).

A first look at Star Wars Rebels will be shown at Star Wars Celebration Europe II in July. Yay! Oh and an official Facebook page has been set up.

"My newest (and probably last) compendium poster pays tribute Star Wars and the iconic Kenner card back from the 80's. This one in particular is the 92 card back which covered the entire basic figure assortment.

All of the characters were designed with the toys as reference. I took a few liberties, but the details are limited to what was provided by the figures alone.

Vaderhosen
Darth Vader gets into the spirit of the occasion with a festive (but not too festive) pair of lederhosen. Raise your own stein and drink to the health of the Dark Lord of the Sith. This design is planned for a unisex T-shirt.

Vintage Ewoks and Droids Cartoon Logos

The individual logos are planned to appear on a variety of barware.

Rebels and Imperials Football Club Logos
Team Rebel or Team Imperial? Show whose side you're on with these Football Club logos. These designs are planned for backpacks, drinking glasses, scarves, and patches.

Ralph McQuarrie "Darth Vader's Castle" Concept Art
Ralph McQuarrie created this piece of unfinished concept art depicting Darth Vader's castle, which is never seen in the movies. Lucasfilm asked artist Paul Bateman to complete McQuarrie's piece, and this is the result. This piece is planned for a print and beer stein.

Star Wars Coats of Arms
Rebel. Imperial. Jedi. Fett. Now each has its own coat of arms to signify its alliance. These designs are planned for patches, pins, and a variety of apparel.

frustratingly stubborn. This convenient sound guide will help new droid users bypass that malfunction and utilize them to their full capacity. Featuring helpful scenarios—like convincing a droid to play back full messages, serve beverages and hors d’oeuvres at events, diagnose and repair mechanical issues on an X-wing, or just walk the dog—plus a sound module of 10 different droid phrases demonstrated by R2-D2, this handbook is a necessity for any new droid user.

Urma Droid is an expert on human-droid relations, specializing in R2 character studies. She lives and conducts research on Coruscant.

JAKe was born in Hull, England, but was raised by Wookiees from a young age. He speaks the Wookiee language fluently, but can communicate with an R2 unit enough to get his pencils sharpened. He lives and works in London.

Not yet widely available and LEGO are holding back these for Australia and the USA until August, but we managed to get our hands on them...
Surprisingly the B-wing has a printed piece which is always kinda nice at this scale, but yet again those LEGO planets...what do you do with them!? Any creative suggestions? Sometimes you just wanna cry when manufacturers make exclusives. I swear they murder small kittens and woodland animals at times they can be so evil releasing something so cool for collectors in such limited quantities, on one continent, at one event. Ugh.

Especially when you plenty of scalpers will be ensuring that they buy more then they need, and we all pay through the nose for this online. Slim chance this may be available at hasbrotoyshop.com AFTER SDCC, but again traditionally scalped well.

Celebration Europe II on the other hand may get an exclusive as good as this? Time will tell. Bloody hope so!

We'll if your fortunate to be going to SDCC I guess as a reward for braving the crowds you get the privilege to buy one of these at....wait for it... $45USD which will be sold at the Hasbro booth at the San Diego Convention Center July 18-21. Well I guess it IS two figures and the $5 extras is well... because they can charge it.

The rest of the Black series will be in stores globally from July/August.
