How To Ignore All Facebook Apps Requests in One Click

One of the major complaints about Facebook is the Application Request Queue that keeps getting longer and longer unless your religiously hit the "Ignore" button each time there’s a request from a friend to add a new Facebook application.

At the time of writing, there were as many as 620 invitations in my Facebook Inbox for various Facebook Applications and clearing this queue would have taken days as I would press the Ignore button exactly 620 times.

Fortunately, there’s a very elegant solution available now in the form of a bookmarklet for IE and Firefox that will completely erase all Facebook application requests in one click.

Right-click the link below and select "Add to bookmarks/favorites" or drag it

- to your bookmarks/favorites of your browser and when looking at your facebook application requests page just click on it and all ignore buttons will be clicked at once! Windows XP Tips :: How To Turn off Autoplay

Autoplay play feature is not only available in CD drives, but also in the flash drives and external hard drives that you connect to your PC. In any case your external drives or CDs or flash drives are infected with virus, spywares or malwares, then chances are there that your PC could also be infected with the autoplay feature. Best way to combat this issue is to disable autoplay on all your system drives.

To disable autoplay on all drives, best method is to change it through Group Policy Editor. In order to do this, you have to perform the following steps:

At first, click on the Start button of your Windows XP OS and then click Run from the right side menu

Then type gpedit.msc and press enter.

A window will be popped up immediately titled "Group Policy" editor.

Navigate to: Local Computer Policy -> Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System.

Then click on the System. In the right panel, when you scroll down a little bit, you will find "Turn off Autoplay", Just double click on it.

A new window will be popped up titled "Turn off Autoplay Properties". Now, select enabled and choose All drives from the drop down list and then click OK button.

That's it. Now autoplay feature has been disabled on All drives which you connect to your PC.

This 1 lakh rupee car was a major concern for the environmentalists and others who raised concern about the pollution and concession caused by the car if it was wide accepted in the market. The target audience of the car is basically two wheeler buyers who would like to own a car and also second hand small car buyers.

Mr Tata refused these claims and said that the car would be least polluting and as far as congestion is concerned, something that needs to be acted upon is the infrastructure. Stopping someone from making a car that would be affordable to common people nation wide is not an answer.The thought behind making this 1 lakh rupee car occurred to Mr Tata when he saw an entire family traveling on a two wheeler, a common sight amongst many cities and towns in India. The car will empower those families to travel in a more comfortable and safe manner irrespective of the weather conditions.The car will definitely revolutionize the four wheeler segment in India and around the world.

Microsoft has just added the Windows XP Service Pack 3 (release candidate) installer to their download website.

This Windows XP SP3 installer weighs around 336 MB and includes all patches, bug fixes and security updates ever released by Microsoft since the launch of Windows XP OS.

Nothing major introduced in XP SP3 but there’s a new activation scheme which will not require a product key during XP installation on a new machine.

And unlike XP SP1 or SP2, you can easily uninstall XP SP3 from your PC using the Add Remove programs module.

Microsoft will release the first beta of Internet Explorer 8 in the first half of 2008 that will have full support for web standards. And the new browser will be known as “Windows Internet Explorer 8″.

Website designers will be able to write websites based on standards, insert a flag that tells IE to render in IE8 standards mode, and IE will then switch its rendering engine to use this new mode.

Thus IE8 won’t break the layout of existing websites coded for previous versions of IE (IE7 or IE6, for example). They’ll behave in exactly the same way in IE8 unless website designers opt-in to IE8 standards mode by placing a simple tag at the head of their HTML document.

It is not immediately clear if Windows IE8 will be available for Windows 2000 and XP versions.

Get Free MegaUpload Premium Account and Download Without Limit using Premium Link Generator...

I seldom post any tips or tricks on MegaUpload because I really seldom use this free service. Reason is because there are 2 restrictions. Whenever I want to download anything from MegaUpload, I will get the message saying:

"All download slots assigned to your country (Bangladesh) are currently in use. Please try again in a few hours or install the Megaupload Toolbar for immediate access - with the toolbar installed, there are no more slot limitations for you!"

What? I have to download a tool-bar in order to download using free account ?? Forget it! Fortunately, there is a Firefox Extension which lets you bypass the requirement to download this unnecessary tool-bar.

Second restriction is after I've downloaded the a file from Megaupload, I cannot immediately download the next file... rather I have to wait for some time and only then I can download the next file from Megaupload. Sometimes I have no choice but to go through all this hassle because the files I am looking for are only available in Megaupload.

I think I am lucky because while reading some post on a forum, I found a website that can generate Megaupload Premium Link! A Megaupload Premium Link means:

Highest download speed priority
Maximum parallel downloads
No waiting time before download begins
Download starts immediately
Support pause and resume download!

FreeMu.info uses an amazing script which is also very simple. The script uses a premium megaupload account to generate a premium megaupload link from a normal megaupload link. A normal megaupload link looks like this (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XXXXXXXX) but as for PREMIUM megaupload link, it is very long and it looks something like this (http://www41.megaupload.com/files/aa3/file.rar)

I never had a megaupload premium account before, therefore I don't know if there are any download limit restriction for a premium account. A megaupload premium account cost almost $199.99 for a lifetime platinum membership. If you look carefully at FreeMu.info website, there is a lot of advertisements and I believe the owner can easily cover back his cost. It's a win-win situation. He gets revenue by placing advertisements and we get free service. I just hope he can continue this service as long as possible without getting noticed or banned by Megaupload.

OK, let's get head on to the fun part on how to generate a normal megaupload link to a premium link. At first go to FreeMu.info website, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see a small text box with a small Go button. Just paste the megaupload link to the text box and click Go! button. You will notice that the page is being refreshed and you're at the top of the FreeMu.info page. Scroll down again and this time you'll see a long link just below the text box.Congratulation, you have got the Megaupload premium link without a premium account.

iPhone-like Touch Feature on Windows 7 ?

Microsoft’s next operating system, Windows 7 might support the multi-touch interface, just like the one in iPhone. This rumor comes straight from a Microsoft employee, Hilton Locke, who is working as a test engineer in Windows Shell Team. He didn’t reveal much about the upcoming "touch" features of Windows 7, but he said:

"All I will say that if you are impressed by the ‘touch features’ in the iPhone, you’ll be blown away by what’s coming in Windows 7. Now if only we could convince more OEMs that Windows Touch Technology is going to drive their sales."

Touch based input is nothing new to Microsoft. We’ve seen it in Tablet PCs and Windows Mobile Devices, but so far Microsoft’s touch technology revolved around single contact touch designed for a stylus and not finger.

You can’t really say Microsoft’s multi-touch technology in Windows 7 will bring revolutionary changes to computing, but it just implies that if multi-touch tablets are rolled out, Windows 7 will be able to handle them.
