The new action packed sci-fi Universal picture Battleship revamps the old school board game with big name stars, Aliens, and the faith of humanity of course. Directed by Peter Berg, Battleship tells the story of an international naval fleet, located at Pearl Harbor, and their fight to stop an alien species, the Regents, from building a power source in the Pacific Ocean.  Starring Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson, and Rihanna Battleship is expected to hit movie theaters May of this year.

What are your thoughts on this new sci-fi flick?

With their interesting choice of samples instrumentation & views on multiple topics, I can safely say it’s a strong album!

Roversi, one of the most prolific image makers of his generation, has combined during the last four decades a perfect balance between commercial projects – being a longtime contributor to Vogue Italia and i-D among other publications and creating campaigns for avant garde brands as Comme des Garcons or Yohji Yamamoto – and personal work, always imposing simplicity over eccentricity and printing a romantic vision on his subjects, from John Galliano at the peak of his success in Dior to favourite model Natalia Vodianova.

Visiting the exhibition – focused on selected work from Roversi’s Nudi and Studio series – it’s easy to appreciate his love for classic painting, specially in the black and white nudes starred by strange beauty, model and muse Guinevere Van Seenus, an example of his brilliant eye and strong sensibility.

Nike has again revolutionzed the use of technology in apparel, with the Nike+ for basketball.

Nike continues to incorporate the Nike+ system into more revolutionary ways in different sports, it will be interesting to see what they develop over the coming months.

They are rumored to cost $250.00, and will be available this summer.

Back in December of last year R.Kelly in an interview with TMZ said that he had written 32 new chapters of his epic “hip-hopera” “Trapped In The Closet”. He is however searching for funding for the project.

As it stands now, it is already 22 chapters long, all of which emerged between 2005 & 2007. The video’s that accompany them are absolutely hilarious, so if you can track down the DVD, I highly suggest you do!
