Thank you for those faithful among that check and pray for the PB peoples!

Please continue to pray for the Lord to bring salvation to millions of those here in PB land.

Specifically, please pray:

* We are praying for more national partners with our local projects. The national partners would be working with health education/water projects as well as seeking opportunities to share about Jesus Christ. Please join us in praying for two particular individuals.

* Sido- a village about an hour from us... our local house church is regularly, even weekly and bi-weekly visiting this village, sharing the Gospel of Jesus, discipling those there that have believed, and training in evangelism training with a handful of people in the area. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest would do a great work in this village. Many people there are open to hearing, thinking about, and discussing the Gospel. Pray with us that the Lord will move there, open hearts to Him, and make many disciples in Sido.

* Paycall - just last week, a few believers/national partners went through the Paycall area. They were able to share with more than 22 people in just 2 days. Throughout PB land, more than 30 people were shared with over a matter of 4 days. Please pray for those that heard as many stated that this was the first time they had heard a story such as this.... the story of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.... the first time EVER.

Please take time right now to stop and pray for these important prayer requests. We desire for the Father to do a mighty work here as only He can.

Dear partners in the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the PB peoples:

Dear friends. Welcome back after a two month break from the blog! Know that your PB team hasn't taken a break but continue praying, sharing, and discipling. Please take time now to pray for these requests:

* The college ministry:
- Five young women (2 national women and 3 internationals) will be leaving our team over the next two weeks. We are saddened for this loss but excited to see what the Father has in store for each of their lives. Nevertheless, this leaves holes in our ministry towards college students. Please pray for those (nationals and internationals) who will fill these footprints in reaching college students with the Gospel.

- Fif, college student, will be traveling through the PB peoples tomorrow to share the Gospel with people she meets. Please pray for Fif that she will speak the Gospel with boldness, love, compassion, and clarity. Pray that the Lord will open the hearts of those she shares with over the next few days.

- Please continue to pray A- that our young women have been sharing the Gospel with. Please pray that the Lord will open her heart and that she will believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

* Praise God for Mr. Wag being baptized yesterday. He has been a believer for less than a year, but just yesterday was willing to be baptized. Please pray for Mr. Wag as he goes back to his village and shares about what has happened with him. Mrs. Wag has either recently believed or seems to be on the brink of following Christ. Please join us in praying for the Lord to redeem Mrs. Wag. Many in their village have heard the Gospel, pray that the Lord will redeem many from that village.

* About 2 weeks ago, a follow-up training was held for some of our key national partners. After asking the responses from the training and next steps to be taken, several have said they need to focus more on following-up those they have shared the Gospel with. Please pray that the 40 plus participants will return to their villages and cities and be diligent contacting those who have previously shown interest in the Gospel, and continuing to share the Good news of Jesus Christ with them.

Thanks for your prayers friends. Please don't stop asking the Father to work as only HE can here in PB land. Keep knocking and praying.

a much overdue update!!! PR 5-15-13

Dear partners in the Gospel,

These are some exciting days we are walking through, as the Lord leads our ministry. Please join us in praying for the ministries below.

Investing in the local established Church
In the 5 years that we have lived in PB land, our local established church has gone from caring mainly about the local Christian body and having little desire to share the Good News of Jesus with their Muslim neighbors till present day where common discussions are happening among the Christians of whom they have been sharing the Gospel with. Just last week a evangelism training was held at the church, where a good number of members came, and then the following day went out to practice sharing with whoever they met. In fact, 24 people heard the Gospel on last Thursday. From these 24 people, two people stated they desire to follow Christ and become a Christian. Praise the Lord! It is so amazing to see what the Lord is doing with the local body of Christ!

Please join us in praying that:
- the Lord will continue growing the local body of Christ, emboldening them to share the Gospel, and ultimately using them for His Glory in PB land.
- other churches that our PB team is working with will begin to share and hold God's heart for the nations, being obedient to the Scripture as ultimate authority, abiding in Christ, and sharing the Gospel with those around them.

College Student Ministry
R, C, and K continue to share with A. A has confessed that she understands that Jesus is God's answer to our sin problem. She understands that salvation is found in no one other than Jesus. However, A doesn't yet "feel convinced in her own heart" (as she says).

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will:
- continue working on A's heart - convincing her that Jesus is the Christ
- A- brought a Muslim friend with her during the last Bible study. We are unsure of her reasons in doing this but pray that A- would continue bringing others to study just WHO Jesus is.
- pray for the Lord to guide R, C, and K as they try to meet with A on a weekly basis

T and R continue to boldly share the Gospel and follow-up those who have already heard. A few weeks ago T and R found themselves facing a strict Islamic leader. He questioned them for two hours about the Bible and their faith in Christ. Praise God that they repeatedly shared the Gospel with this man. They say that over the two hour period, where four men gathered to discuss the Bible with them, that they shared a full Gospel presentation 3 times, as well as at other times drawing the four men back to God's Word. Through this, a young man name Von has become a believer, been baptized, and is being discipled. Praise God! The Islamic leader tried to get R & T to drink poison in order to test and see if God is truly on their side, that God truly takes care of His children. R & T expressed that the truly believed God, and that He takes care of His children, but felt no need to put God to the test.

Please pray that God will:
- continue to embolden T and R as they go out
- continue to lead and give them wisdom in answering the fiery darts that are being thrown at them
- as they disciple Von on a weekly basis
- that the Lord would use them in bringing MANY PB college students to Himself
- that God would renew their passion for Him and that T & R wouldn't just be sharing out of a feeling that it is their job but sharing from the deep love and gratitude they have for the Lord.
- R's health has not been the best lately - please pray that God will heal her and renew her strength

A Paycall Believer
A Paycall woman (that believed a few years ago) recently visited with Mrs. Per (a national partner). The woman expressed her sadness over her family's rejection of her. They have completely disowned her. They cut her out of the monetary inheritance that was divided when her father passed away recently. Mrs. Per tried to encourage Paycall woman that though she may have lost her earthly family, that she is now God's child, and that He will be with her and take care of her always even to the end of the age.

Please pray:
- that the Paycall woman would feel comforted by the Lord and that He is always with her
- that the Lord will save the Paycall woman's family.

Dear friends,

Thank you for checking the prayer blog. We praise the Lord how He is drawing people to Himself here in PB land. Please take time now to pray for the following:

Ministry among college students:
Thank you for praying for A and J in the last prayer update! Both continue to seem close to the Kingdom of God. Yet neither have made any sort of decision regarding following Christ. Please continue to pray for these two people. A development with J- is that he likes to invite other friends, from various religious backgrounds to study with he, R and T. About a week and a half ago, J- had invited F- to a Bible study. Once again, R and T presented the Gospel to J-. He continued open but not making any decision to follow Christ. However, upon hearing that same Gospel presentation, F- said that he wanted to become a Christ follower and at that very moment prayed for God to forgive him of his sins, and create a new heart within him. Praise the Lord.
Please pray also for:
* Fu
* Cindy
* Fawn
These are female college students also have heard the Gospel recently. Please join us in praying for the Lord to open their eyes, hearts, and souls to Him, that He would create a new heart within them.

In a different Bible study....
Praise the Lord as R shared with Y and friends about what a "new creation" looks like within the Believer's life, one of the friends admitted that she did not have this new heart and desired to follow Christ. That night, she confessed that Jesus is Lord and desired for Him to create a new heart within her that is bent toward Him. Praise God that He saves!

Trainings...
Also there will be a training among the Faces people beginning Wednesday of this upcoming week. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of believers that attend this meeting. They will be studying God's great heart and vision, the Bible as our authority, abiding in Christ, and an evangelism tool. Please pray that the Lord will use this to mobilize believers in one of PB area's unreached people groups.

There will also be trainings covering this same material in another part of PB area during the end of April and May.

Keeping Christ our focus
Lastly, please pray for our national partners. Some of them are struggling with different areas of their personal lives. This is affecting their ministry. Please join us as we pray and ask God to keep them focused on Him, being obedient to His Word, and actively sharing the Gospel and discipling believers (new and old) as well as those interested in following Christ.

We are praying for God to reign down His Kingdom here in PB land. We are praying for humility for ourselves and national partners. We are praying for Him to move in amazing ways.

Please keep praying, we and the PB peoples need your prayers.

P.R. on two people who seem not far from the Kingdom

Dear friends,

I wanted to take a brief minute to send out TWO prayer requests before I send out the update in a few days. Some young women in our busy sharing the Gospel. Praise the Lord. This is so exciting to see and hear His Gospel go forth. Our prayer requests revolve around these women and those they have shared with.

1) Please pray C, K, and R as they haved shared the Gospel with a college student named A. A is very open to the Gospel and has asked to study the Bible together. K has regular talks with A about Jesus. A studied the virgin-birth, and the first chapter of Mark with C, K, and R. She believes the truths she is reading about Jesus and isn't trying to compare religions, but longs to know and follow Jesus. Praise God. She is also asking how to pray to God. Please pray for A that God will create a new heart in her. It seems that if she hasn't already believed, then she is very close. Please pray for those that share with A. Pray that the Lord will give them wisdom and guidance as they work with A.

2) Please for T & R as they have shared with J- across seven encounters. J- knows a lot about the Koran and when T & R speak of Jesus, he knows right where to go in the Koran that speaks of Jesus. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to move J-'s heart. He has heard the full Gospel presentation repeatedly and has studied what the Bible has to say about Jesus. We are very aware that the One who will convince J- of his need of the Savior, Jesus Christ, is the Lord Himself. Please pray that this will happen soon. Please pray for T & R as they continue to meet with J- and point him to Jesus.

We desperately long for the Holy Spirit to move in the hearts of these two individuals. We also long for the Lord to continue growing R, K, & C and T & R in their faith in Him. Please be in prayer for these precious friends.

Prayer update - Feb 20, 2013

Dear prayer partners,

Please join us in praying for salvation for the PB peoples and for a great movement to spread. Just in the last week, I heard national partners speaking of sharing the Gospel with those from several different people groups. From the Paycall, the Ruhjohn, the Lembox, the Ben people, the Trans people, and more. It was so exciting to hear how the Lord continues to embolden His believers to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who have not believed! Praise the Lord!

But please join us in praying that the Holy Spirit will go before us and penetrate hearts, taking blinds off the blinded, hardened hearts of our PB peoples. The Holy Spirit must go before us. Please join us as we and our nationals are praying for the Lord God to save our PB peoples. We cannot fulfill this task, only He can.

But for now, let me tell you an interesting story:

Mr. Alfred has been a Christ-follower for several years. Alfred and his wife felt the Lord leading them to move to our area of this country. They moved into a remote village and began working as farmers, as is the occupation for most others in their village. Their hearts desire was and is to see people become followers of Jesus Christ. They began sharing the Gospel and talking with neighbors about what the Lord had done in their own hearts. Over a period of a year or two, one family went from persecuting and publicly speaking out, very negatively, against Christians to slowly over time becoming open to Christians. Last Sunday, Mr. Alfred and his wife brought Mr. Ben and his wife (the family that publicly denounced Christians) to CHURCH. I noticed them as I walked in the church, the wife more noticeable, wearing a Muslim head scarf and the man, having a longer beard as some Muslim men have. During the service, Mr. Alfred shared how Mr. Ben and his wife were mean people but that God saved them and gave them a new heart and they are now Christ-followers. It was beautiful. The Gospel is beautiful. Christ takes our wretched, sinful hearts and gives us His pure, sinless beautiful standing before God. It is an unfair exchange - our nasty, sinful, wicked hearts for his spotless, sinless, beautiful heart. However that is EXACTLY what Jesus did on the Cross.

It is amazing, the PB team tries to reach people from all angles: house churches AND the traditional church. Here it is plainly seen, the Lord is using whomever and whatever has a heart to make Him known and to call others to repentance and belief upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please pray for these new believers, that they would continue following Christ. Please pray for those that disciple them, that they would be consistently following-up and discipling Mr. and Mrs. Ben.

Lastly, please pray for this village, that the Lord will continue to call out people to believe upon His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for Mr. and Mrs. Alfred, Mr. and Mrs. Ben, and another couple Mr. and Mrs. G as they continue to put their lamp on the stand for all to see, and as they call others to repent and believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

And may God get all the glory!

Here is a great article on what is left to do in the Great Commission. Take a minute and read it. And then pray for the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into the field. And be a "radical, sacrificial goer, or a radical, sacrficial sender."

"But if God would grant the passion and courage and wisdom, the remaining task is neither vague, nor enormous, nor unattainable. Would you join me in obeying Matthew 9:38, “Pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest”?

And then be a radical, sacrificial goer, or a radical, sacrificial sender. Jesus has all authority to accomplish this. He promises to be with us to the end of the age as we mobilize for this. What a thrilling prospect! What a cause to live for! What a holy ambition.

the persecuted

Dear prayer partners,

Please pray for a people group not too far from us that the Lord is working among right now. That people has seen a few hundred people profess belief in Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord for how HE is moving in the hearts of peoples not too different from our PB peoples.

Not surprisingly, with this wonderful news of new brothers and sisters in Christ has come persecution from the local community (government, police, religious leaders, etc). PLEASE take time now to pray for these new brothers and sisters in Christ. Please pray that the Lord will strengthen the believers in their faith in Him. Please ask that the new believers will have boldness, love, and compassion to continue sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those around them... even in the face of persecution. Pray that the gospel will spread like wild fire during this time and that LOTS of people will come to faith in Jesus Christ because of this!

Ultimately, let's praise the Father for His mercy and grace in drawing sinners to Himself. Praise Him that He is mighty and amazing to turn cold, hardened hearts into new creations. God is mighty to save!!

Pray for our PB peoples, that this would have happen here. That many of our own PB people will come to faith in Jesus Christ, whatever that may bring.

Please pray for the Christ followers that eagerly await these trainings and look for opportunities to share the Hope that we have through Jesus Christ.
Please pray that The Lord will move ahead and penetrate the hearts and souls of those here at the training and lead His followers to those whom He is working in their hearts.

Hello prayer partners!

Here are a few names of people that we would love to have you join with us in bringing before the Father:

* Mr. Dar - please pray for Mr. Dar as months ago he said he wanted to be a follower of Jesus but since then he has been difficult to follow-up with in discipleship. Please pray for those that are trying to meet with Mr. Dar and continue teaching him about Jesus and His teachings.

* The 2 local partner training - This training ended today. The last information I received was from this a.m. From this event, the 2 partners trained 6 college students about God's heart for all peoples, evangelism methods, being obedient to the Scriptures, and discipling new believers. The very FIRST day one of the trainees (who is from a known Christian people group in another part of the country) stated that she had never truly followed Jesus for herself... she was riding on traditions from her parents beliefs. That very day, she became a follower of Jesus and was baptized. Two other attendees confessed that they had never been baptized and desired to follow Jesus' teaching about baptism and they also were baptized the first day of training. Since that time, two of the six attendees have shared with their families (who are supposedly Christians) of their new desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others and their new beliefs about Jesus, salvation, baptism, and evangelism and have met great difficulty. Please pray for these two young ladies (D & L). Please pray that through this training, these trainees will continue their passion for the Lord and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those around them. Praying that the Lord will save many and all this for His Glory!

* The training for several of our national partners was said to be very good. Please continue to pray for our local partners that they will continue to boldly share the Gospel with others and be faithful to follow-up those they have shared with.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will move in mighty ways here in PB land. Without the Holy Spirit's movement, our Gospel presentation going forth are just words. We need God to do a mighty work here. Please pray that He will draw TONS of people to Himself, and that as we open our mouths to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is going forth convicting hearts.

Greetings from PB land,

The PB team prays that you had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ AND a happy New Year's day! I wanted to update you with some requests for the next month and months to come.

1) Two local partners have created a "m" trip that will be a week long trip for 6 local college students. This "m" trip will happen around the first week of February with a week long training the week prior. This "m" trip will focus on our Ruhjohn people group. PLEASE take time now and over this month to pray for the local partners logistically planning for this trip. Please pray for this trip as these 6 students will be tasked with sharing the gospel each day for 7 days. Please pray that the Lord will go before this group, preparing hearts, giving dreams and visions to the Ruhjohn people that this group will encounter. Pray that the Lord will breakthrough into this people group and use this time as a life-changing time for the Rujohn people and this group that is being sent out.

2) Please pray for some of our national/local partners as they go to a training beginning on the 14th. Please pray that the Lord will continue to grow their hearts and give them guidance as they seek to be used by God among the PB people groups.

3) Please pray for Mr. Market, a seller at a local market. He is from the Ben people group. He believed just 2 months ago. He continues to be followed-up by a local partner. Please pray for Mr. Market that the Lord will grow his faith, that the Lord will raise Mr. Market up to share the gospel to his Ben people. A people, whom the ONLY believer we know is Mr. Market himself. Please pray for the partner that is discipling him that they will continue to meet with Mr. Market.

There are many exciting plans made to reach out to the PB peoples over 2013. Please join us in praying the Lord's guidance. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will go before us and open hearts to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you, partner in the Gospel, for praying for the PB peoples and our PB team.

Persevere in prayer

"But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us not because of works done by us in righteousness but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:4-7

Dear prayer partners,
Such rich wording for those of us who follow Jesus, for those who the blood of Jesus has washed us and made us clean. BUT for thousands and millions... yes millions... around us, they do not know this mercy, grace, this hope that those of us who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb have in our lives. Therefore, I plead with you, that as we have this awesome grace and mercy upon us and the millions around us do not yet know, that we would be on our knees praying for God to remove the blinds from the PB eyes. Have you grown tired knocking on the door of God asking for the salvation of the PB people? Persevere, dear friend. Let us not grow weary on asking our Lord God to redeem these people. Let our "impudence" or "persistence" cause the Father to answer our prayers (Luke 11:5-13). Keep asking.
Please join us in falling on faces before the Lord God for the salvation of millions of PB peoples. Praying that they too would know the joy of reading the rich words in Titus, that God desires to save them not because of their works but according to His mercy and grace. The PB peoples coming to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ is only part of the prayer, but that they would taste and see that the Lord is good and that they will follow Him all the days of their lives, including to go, disciple, and baptize and teach others to obey all that God commands (Psalm 34:8, John 12:26, Matthew 28:19-20).

Thankfulness and petitions

Dear faithful pray partners,

Happy Thanksgiving. Well it's getting there right. We have much to be thankful for this year. We are beginning to see mor national partners beginning to focus strategically on the PB peoples. We are seeing our national partners taking on Gods heart for the nations. They are longing for all things to be done for God's glory. It is a beautiful thing that God is working in the hearts of children.
We are also beginning to see some people coming to faith in Jesus Christ. And praise the Lord we are beginning to see more of the new believers follow in baptism. Still we are struggling to see them be grouped together for discipleship. Please pray for this as we long to see our new followers in Christ being discipled.
Some of our harder to reach people groups, with no Gospel bearer living among them, still are quite resistant to the Gospel. Please pray for a follower of Christ to move into our hard to reach people groups over this next year. Please pray that The Lord will open these UPGs hearts toward Him. We are still praying for new believers among all our unreached people groups.
Still yet,we are very thankful for the work The Lord has done in PB land over this past year. Please join us as we praise and thank Him for the work He is doing. And praise and thank Him for the work He will do in the year ahead.
Please do not grow weary in praying and asking The Lord for our PB peoples salvation!

recent training among students and a new believer

On Saturday, a evangelism training was held for college-aged students. Around 10 students came. On the following day, around 8 of the 10 gathered to go out and one of the students that was trained then believed in Jesus as their Lord and Savior and was baptized that night. Praise the Lord for clearly making Himself known to this student, and bringing this student into His kingdom!

Please pray for this new believer.

As a result of this training, these 10 students are being gathered into two Bible study groups. Please be in prayer for these groups as they study God's Word and learn about His heart for the nations.

Praise the Lord that for many of those trained, this is the first time that they have shared the Gospel with someone they had JUST met.

Please join us in prayer for what the Lord can and will do as a result of this training.

A great word about reaching out to UUPG's and UPG's

Your first questions may be, "what language are you speaking? What is UUPG? UPG?" Let me give a quick answer and then refer you to read the blog linked below.

An UUPG is an Unengaged, Unreached People Group
An UPG is an Unreached People Group

UUPG means that there is no real focus, person on the ground, church from afar, nor strategy to reach that certain people group. (Unengaged) The majority, if not most or even of all the people, still have not heard nor believed in the Gospel. (Unreached)

UPG means that there may be a person on the field or a strategy in place from a church in the States that is targeting that certain people group. The majority, if not most or even of all the people, still have not heard nor believed in the Gospel. (Unreached)

Please be in prayer for a mother and her mute son. This past week some people went out and met a woman and her 16 year old son, who is mute. The followers of Christ shared Bible stories and Bible truths with the the mother and son. In the end, the mother desired to hear more Bible stories, and regarding the story of Jesus, she replied that this was the "best good news" she had ever heard. However, neither the woman nor her son expressed desire to believe in Jesus Christ. Please pray for this family that God will draw them into His kingdom, and this won't be merely an interesting story but a life altering faith in Jesus Christ.

From the Trans people....

Please pray for Mah. Mah has been regularly meeting with two followers of Christ over the past few months. In the past Mah seemed resistant to the Gospel. However, recently she has begun to interact in discussions about the Gospel. Please pray for Mah. Pray that the Holy Spirit would open her heart and that she would become a follower of Jesus Christ.

From a large people group north of PB land....

Please pray for Leah. A young woman that claims Islam as her religion yet she is following and desires the ways of the world in her pursuits of materialism, men, and alcohol. Please pray for those that meet with Leah and are sharing the Gospel with her. Please join us in praying for her salvation.

From Surway area...

Please pray for Mr. and Mrs. S, from Surway area. Last week they both heard the full gospel. Mrs. S believed right away, and is being followed up with Bible Study about Baptism and what following Christ looks like. Mr. S thought the gospel story was interesting but was not ready to become a Christ follower. The people who shared with this family said that Mr. S had hearing problems and had difficulty hearing what was being said to him. Please pray for this family that Mrs. S would be baptized and continue to study the Bible with those discipling her. Please pray for Mr. S. Join us in asking God to clearly make known the gospel to Mr. S by opening his ears and soul to the gospel.

From Rujohn area...

Please pray for Mr. Sur, a Rujohn man, who recently heard the gospel. He stated that he wanted to believe in Jesus. Mr. Sur went home and told his wife the gospel story and his desire to become a Christ follower. His wife became angry and does not like her husband’s new desire to follow Christ. Please pray for Mr. Sur that he would follow the truth that God has shown him. Please pray for his wife, that the Holy Spirit will work in her own heart as the Spirit is working in her husband's heart.

From the evangelical training of 70+ Christians...

After the training of 70+ Christians, a few weeks ago, around 50 people expressed an openness and desire to follow Jesus. A number of those were already taught about following with baptism. Two or three of the 50 immediately were baptized and are being discipled. Please pray for the 50 that they would be followed up well over the next few weeks.

Praise The Lord with us as we celebrate all three hunters coming to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and all three men desiring to be baptized and be discipled. This has been an amazing thing to watch unfold. Just on Friday, the 17th, Mr. Mat was challenged to believe and he said that he did not desire to believe. A few days later he had a motorcycle accident that seemed to shake him up and cause a crisis of faith in his life. The next day, Mr. Mat told a friend of ours that he desires to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Finally today Mr. Mat was followed up with again and he confirmed that he definitely wants to be a follower of Jesus.

Praise God.

Please continue to pray for these three men and for their wives and children who are not yet ready to become followers of Jesus.

Please pray for three wild boar hunters. Two of the three men confess that they desire to follow Christ, and even desire to be baptized. One of the men, Mr. Ko, says he is ready to be baptized. Another man, Mr. Wag desires to follow Christ but says he wants his wife to follow Christ with him, that it would be a family decision. Mr. Wag is ready but his wife is not yet. The third man, Mr. Mat, openly says that no he is not ready to believe. Just yesterday Mr. Mat had a motorcycle accident, and it yet again provided opportunity to tell Mr. Mat that God has a plan and purpose for Mr. Mat.

Please pray for these three men.

* Pray that Mr. Ko's confession would be earnest and that he truly will follow into the waters of baptism.

* Pray for Mr. Wag's wife - her greatest fear is rejection from her extended family. Please pray that Mrs. Wag will see that all is worthy leaving behind and following hard after Christ.

* Join us in praying that God will redeem this family.

* Pray for Mr. Mat - please pray that God will soften his heart.

* Please pray that God will redeem these men and their families and do amazing things within their families for His glory.

at least 50+ Unreached People Groups

Please continue to pray for participants of a training this week who target at least 50 different people groups. Today began the training. So far they have studied God's vision and the authority of the Scripture and just now began studying the book of Acts.

Please pray for these participants as God continues to challenge hearts and encourage the brethren.

Pray that God will be magnified in our lives and in glorified in the participants this week.
Pray that the Lord will use this training as a source of direction, encouragement for weary souls, and a further call to godliness.

Please spend time now praying for this training as we have expectations, hopes, and prayers that God will use this to further His Kingdom here in PB land and in surrounding Unreached People Groups.

Please pray for a 70+ year old recent believer. Mr. Wu counts all as loss except for knowing Christ. Mr. Wu was a leader in a strict Islamic group. Then he met Jesus Christ and his life changed. Over the past months, J- has been discipling Mr. Wu, sharing with him how to study the Bible, memorize scripture, share the Gospel, and etc. Mr. Wu has been actively sharing the Gospel with those around him.

Just this morning, Mr. Wu was called into a local government office and told he needed to recant and return to Islam. He has been given three months to do this.

Please pray for Mr. Wu. Pray that he will remain strong in his confession and belief that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to the Father. Pray that Mr. Wu will not back down but will continue studying God's Word, walking with the Father, and sharing the Gospel with those around him.

Please pray for J- as he seeks wisdom in his continued discipleship of Mr. Wu. Pray for J- that he will continue to be bold in his mentorship and walking the Christ follower life with Mr. Wu.

Ultimately, join us in praying that this will ultimately lead to many coming to faith in Jesus Christ and for God to be glorified throughout PB land.

Please Pray!!!

The vast majority of the unreached peoples of this land (not just limited to the PB peoples but the greater area) reside in the southern part. On the 17-22 September, believers from the southern part of the area will be meeting to learn a discipleship process that will empower them to join God in His work of establishing church planting movements among the unreached people groups of Southern area. Will you pray with us:

1. That the Father will move in the hearts of those who attend so that they will respond to God’s word in obedience

2. That the participants will resist the enemies attacks on this time and that the time will be fruitful

3. That, during this training, many will come to faith as participants go out to share the Gospel

4. That this will result in reproducing churches among every unreached people group in the southern area”

Please stop and pray for Christ followers over the next few days as they have open opportunities to go into Muslims homes. Today (and the next few days here in PB land) is Idul Fitri. This is the Islamic celebration at the end of the fasting month. In PB land, it is tradition for neighbors to go around greeting and giving glad tidings to their neighbors. This includes Christians going into Muslim neighbors homes. This time of year gives GREAT opportunity to be salt and light to a lost world.

Join us in praying for those opportunities and encounters. Pray that God will give love and boldness to His Christ followers. Pray that many Muslims would come to faith in Jesus Christ. Pray that as Muslims have spent a month trying to rid themselves of their sins, that they would see the law brings only death but that Jesus Christ brings life. Plead with us for the PB peoples to come before the Father and admit their need of Jesus, and as Acts 16:31 so clearly states to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.

May YOUR Kingdom come to PB lands, Lord God! To You be the glory.

Mr. Nick and the Bible student with the Paycall

Please pray for Mr. Nick and a Bible student that live in the Paycall area. Mr. Nick has lived in the Paycall area for a few years now, and has a heart to see the Paycall people believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior. Recently a Bible student has gone to live with Mr Nick and serve the Lord there in the Paycall area sowing seeds. Please pray for these two men as they go through Paycall land sharing the Gospel.

Through Mr. Nick's ministry, two Paycall people have come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Mr. Nick is now following them up with discipleship. Please pray for these new believers that they will be discipled well by Mr. Nick. Please pray that God will give them a desire and boldness to share about their new desire to follow Christ.
