Bubble Gum Alley, San Luis Obispo

The perfect place for rebellious Singaporeans to come. Bubble Gum Alley in San Luis Obispo, CA (SLO) is a 15-foot high by 70-foot long alley whose walls are covered in used bubble gum. Apparently this has been the spot to leave your used gum since the 50's, and it has survived at least 2 full cleaning attempts. The locals have long since given up on cleaning it, and leave it as a tourist attraction.

Pet Black Capped Lorikeet

This pet black capped lorikeet was quite good at mimicking laughs, common village sounds, and even talking (though no English of course :) ). I had a pet black capped lorikeet just like this as a kid growing up in Papua.
