<p>Fogle Featured Artist, David Engdahl, an architect by education and vocation, has been working with laminated wood sculpture since 1971, and has exhibited works throughout the U.S. including over twenty states. Engdahl, a recepient of an Individual Artist Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts through the Fine Arts Council of Florida in 1978, presents a lecture featuring the early to late stages of his working process, as well as the finished product. His sequential imagery will reveal deliberate, systematic techniques accompanied by intuitive stylistic decisions originating from inspirations of nature within a technologically driven world. Please join us to celebrate David Engdahl's continued artistic presence within our community during our second Fogle Artist Lecture and Reception of 2010. Take in the remarkable views overlooking downtown Jacksonville from the elegant 34th and 35th floors of the Modis building in the Riverclub of Jacksonville on March 18 from 5-7:00 PM.
