Thông tin về Rialto NF Font

Reminescent of a movie house marquee of the 30’s, this font builds on the basic letterforms of old hoss Dextor Blade, but adds a few tasty twists — more contrast between thick and thin strokes, and a nifty little inline. So, grab a tub of popcorn, a box of Root Beer Barrels and a soda — the show’s about to begin!

Chock A Block NF Font

noreply@blogger.com (Adena) — Wed, 3 Feb 2016 14:01:00 +0700

Thông tin về Chock A Block NF Font

No mystery here: this typeface derives its inspiration from children’s wooden blocks.

The uppercase letters are on a light ground, and the lowercase letters are reversed, so you can mix-and-match upper and lower to create the random nature of words or phrases constructed with real blocks.

The commercial font is "new and improved" over the freeware version, with expanded character set and improved kerning, so you get what you pay (or don't pay) for.

Thông tin về Odalisque NF Font

What I thought was another incomplete gem from the Dover clipart book called Art Deco Initials actually turned out to be the handiwork of berserker fontmeister Alphonse E. Tripp, which was originallt named Dignity Roman. The font’s graceful, curvy charm put me in mind of a painting by the French Romatic painter Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, which lends its name to this humble effort. The freeware version is caps-only; if you’d like the complete font, including all the bells and whistles that come with the Adobe character set, check out Day Tripper NF.

Here’s a revival of an old favorite of mine, a kind of on-the-cusp-between Art Nouveau and Art Deco font called Greetings Monotone. I used the original on a menu project several years ago, and the client referred to it as “the grasshopper font.” I liked the name, and it stuck.

Another offering from Deco typemeister Samuel Welo. This font was originally called Modernistic (also the original name for my Metro Retro font). I don’t know that the name that I’ve chosen — completely arbitrarily — for my version of the font is any better, but it’s no worse, either.

When phellow phont phreak Phil (who actually turned out to be Diana, but that’s another story) turned me on to this font, she said “I can’t believe it’s not in your collection!” Well, now it is: based on CG Siena—a little less fussy but no less fun—this typeface moves, grooves and behooves any occasion for which it is used.

Thông tin về Quigley Wiggly Font

Believe it or not, this font first grabbed my attention when I saw it on a toothpick wrapper. I searched the web and found a font very similar, called Bailey. However, Bailey had several characters that were obviously “filled in,” equally obviously by someone who didn’t have a clue as to what the rules of the font were. Those lapses have been corrected in my version, which screams the Fifties. The name?
