With all the commercialism that has been attached to it, and people camping out over night to be the first to purchase that newly released item, is it about giving or getting? People usually inquire among themselves, what did you get for Christmas, instead of asking, what did you give for Christmas. This shows where their focus is. Greed can cause people to resort to violence in order to attain the things they have their desires set upon. Lust is the driving force behind greed, and it produces an attitude of covetousness; always wanting more and longing

for the things which others have.

The true spirit of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the savior of the world. Though his actual birth date is not certain, nevertheless, December 25th is the day which was declared to honor his birth. The gift giving is reflective of the wise men who came to adore him and gave him gifts. His very birth was a gift to mankind, to reconcile anyone who accepts him back to their Creator.

Why is it that when we celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ, we give gifts to each other and not to him, as the wise men did? Do you go to a friend's birthday party and give everyone else there a gift and not the one whose birthday it is? Sounds ridiculous, right? While we are busy blessing others with gifts, in the name of Christmas, get into the true spirit and give your heart, soul, mind, and strength to Jesus. That's what he wants for his birthday. His sole purpose for coming into this world was to be that final blood sacrifice for mankind so we could be restored to our original right standing with God. All we have to do is accept Jesus for who he is.

Give yourself back to your Creator, do it today, and celebrate the true spirit of Christmas, everyday, all day.

Such gluttony is a self destructive injustice. Excessive consumption is indeed addiction. Eat, drink, and be merry. But not at the cost of your well being, for an overstuffed stomach does not make one merry.

The natural purpose of eating is to provide the body with nutrients which support it's function. When we consume things which do not provide nutrients, we are stressing our bodies and abusing our digestive systems. Would you put water in a gas tank? The food industry has made millions, even billions of dollars off of junk food. I'm not just talking about fast food, but things sold in the grocery store that have very little nutritional value, if any at all. Artificial ingredients, which enhance flavor, are added to make these products enticing. Fancy imagery and arrangement of words on the label get people's attention. This is all part of their marketing strategy, and they are experts at it. Too bad, they don't invest that money into nutrition instead.

Processed and canned foods contain a lot of preservatives and other unknown long word ingredients. Sadly, the focus of the mainstream food industry is not to provide nutrition, but to fatten their pockets, while they fatten the consumers. The organic food industry is doing what should be mainstream. It's all backwards. Food is meant to be consumed naturally, not given a make over. We are forced to pay higher prices just to eat healthy, while junk food seems to be a wiser choice economically, it is causing internal side effects.

A beverage, unlike water, is not supposed to satisfy your thirst, but keep you coming back for more. Depending upon the extent of additives, it can certainly do more harm than good. Water, is a liquid our bodies require, raw fruit contains juices also which quench our bodies need for water. Commercial beverages, such as sodas, serve no nutritional purpose in our diet. People have become so accustomed to drinking for pleasure rather than need, they are walking around unaware that they are dehydrated. Coffee is another beverage which people become addicted to and will suffer withdrawal symptoms, such as a headache or irritability, if they go without.

Eating and drinking without the benefits is a driven behavior. Find out what the void is. Once this is identified, move closer to a healthier diet. Eat to live, not live to eat. Although food should certainly be enjoyed, eating just for enjoyment is out of balance. More commonly this is referred to as comfort eating, to eat certain things just to bring ease and comfort to ourselves or to eat out of boredom. This indicates something is wrong, that something is missing in our lives. Food is used as a substitute to replace another broken relationship. As with any abuse, there are consequences. If food controls you, then you have made your belly your god, because you are bowing down to it's demands.

What dictates when, what, and how you eat? Do you eat when you are sad? Do you deny yourself food when you are hungry and then binge later? What is your relationship with food? The answers to these questions will help you understand where you stand and help you move onto a better healthier you.
if my life were a movie
what would it be rated
who would my co-stars be
or would it be all about me

if my live were a movie
i could relocate in the next scene
have the home of my dreams
and life would be so sweet

if my live were a movie
i'd have brothers and sisters
i'd never be lonely

if my life were a movie
i could rewrite the script
sit back with a hot cup of tea
and live happily ever after

IMPROVE YOUR GAME

In order to be the best you can be, you must first identify your faults. This is a task which doesn't come naturally and requires both honesty and humility. Once you can look yourself in the mirror and face your shortcomings, you can proceed to conquer them.

Far too often people criticize instead of recognize. Don't subject yourself to condescending and belittling comments from others. And don't feed into the misuse of 'constructive criticism' as a justification for putting you down. Anything which is constructive does not tear down, it builds up. When people truly have your best interest at heart, they want you to be the best you that you can be, even if that better you is better than them. Criticism usually surfaces due to jealousy. The ridiculous thing about that is there is no need to become jealous of someone else's strive to improve their game because we can all do the same.

Competition stems from comparison. These comparisons are most always unbalanced. For while we compare ourselves to others, we do so with a distorted perception by comparing our weaknesses with someone else's strengths. When our focus is on improving our own game, we realize just how unrealistic it is to compare ourselves to others. It certainly is good to be motivated or inspired by someone else's accomplishments, but we should never fixate on them because that's when things can get crazed.

Minding our own business and improving our own game go hand in hand. Have confidence in your own abilities and accept the fact that you can't do everything everybody else does. Self acceptance is really the key to successful living. I'm referring to having peace of mind and enjoying the journey of your own life regardless of the obstacles you run into or the mistakes you make along the way.

Once we get over ourselves, we surely can improve our game. Don't be afraid to laugh out loud at yourself, lighten up and relax. Although life certainly is serious, we can still enjoy every step without being stressed and uptight. I dare you to accept yourself and stop being your own worst enemy. If you accept this challenge, I guarantee you that you will smile more, especially when no one is even looking.

Keeping Your Mind on the Grind

The onset of a new project begins with zeal and anticipation because we are excited, inspired, and full of energy. The real challenge is to maintain dedication after the initial spark dies. This is when the door opens for excuses to take charge. Distractions are excuses, regardless of how legit they are or may seem, never give them permanent priority over your project. Do allow space for such interruptions, they are normal life pop-ups. When we give them more time or attention than they actually need, we have made them a permanent priority.

We are indeed surrrounded by so many distractions. Whether or not they deter us depends upon the esteem we give them. Our focus determines what influences us. The things we give attention to are the very things we will be mindful of, you know those things which replay themselves over and over in our heads like a broken record. Well, the key to rising above any sort of diversion is to concentrate all our efforts on the task at hand. Whatever we are striving to do requires focalization.

Keeping our priorities straight requires self discipline. In order to avoid being thrown off course, detours must be made when life's pop-ups occur. (Remember detours always return to the main route.) Deciding ahead of time how to deal with distractions, assists us in sticking to our time frame and accomplishing our goals. Sometimes we just need a break away from the grind. Stepping away and returning refreshed is an essential element of success.

Overall let's just enjoy the process and keep reminding ourselves what initially motivated us so we can gather the strength needed for the long haul.

The Design of Oppression

It's so easy to think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. This world's main agenda revolves around vanity. Labels, categories, classes, titles, etc. all promote division by measuring people based on an unfair scale of comparisons. The Standard Achievement Test, which originated in 1926, initiated such categorization of our children by testing them according to a bias series of inquiries. It has now been replaced in many states by state-created tests mandated by the 2001 No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). This act does not insist on a standard achievement test, but allows each state to set their own standards. An incentive following NCLB enactment was an increase in federal funding of education by Congress of $42.2 billion in 2001 and $54.4 billion in 2007. During the January 25, 2011 State of the Union Address, President Barack Obama announced that NCLB would be replaced with another form of education reform.

This method of intellectual evaluation is instilled early on to keep the cycle of control going. Since the responsibility for the educational system is in the hands of each state and they in turn authorize each district, the power to dictate the economy was accomplished. In other words, they needed to recruit trainees for the jobs in their communities. Curriculum was designed to target not only a specific industry, but a bias point of view. This is the design of oppression.

History is the best example of this because it only teaches a narrow portion and purposely eliminates giving an account of the contribution which certain groups of people made. People are divided by their racial backgrounds and their history is told accordingly, instead of incorporating them all into one collection of history, they place a wedge between the people, in spite of the fact that the historical events occurred parallel in time.

Surveys and statistics further support the separation of people. All this information is gathered for the false pretense of government funding, what it actually does is reinforce division. If, as the Declaration of Independence declares, all men are created equal, then why is their so much conflict among men? This document was not written with all "men" in mind, and this makes it an invalid document, which should have been rewritten long, long ago.

The saga of injustice continues right before our eyes. The hearts of men are desparately wicked, they thirst for a position of rank over others. Thirst, such as this, only pushes the poor deeper into debt and raises the richer higher into wealth. The status quo (the state of affairs) is driven by this thirst. Sadly though, too many people just mentally drop out of society and live in their own little worlds, thinking that by ignoring the bigger picture, it will in essence not affect them. The reality is, is that we are all affected by the state of affairs on planet earth, whether we vote or not, regardless of our involvement, we are all linked to the bigger picture.

The love of money is indeed the root of all evil, which while some have coveted after, they have abandoned the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1Timothy 6:10). The chickens do indeed come home to roost. The sins of our forefathers have not disappeared simply because time has buried them in the past. We are living the repercussions of them. Repentance is the only answer, for in repentance their is an acknowledging, then an admission of sin, followed by a determined change, which ultimately produces new results. They need to go back to the original documents written by the so-called 'founding fathers' (that label is a lie in of itself they need to repent for) and include all people in the execution of said documents. But first and foremost America needs to admit that she established her documents on stolen land, to admit that she kidnapped people from a foreign land to build the stolen land, and also to make reconciliation to these people by any means necessary. Until our nation, as a whole, does this, the cycle of repercussion will continue.

B TRU .... B U

It doesn't take much effort 2 get caught up in the flow of the status quo. Being true 2 the distinctly designed individuals we are, takes a concentrated effort. Pay attention 2 your thoughts, don't just allow them 2 swim around in your mental, discard the ones which serve no purpose 2 your destiny, this is the only way 2 truly stay focused. Take authority over your mind and dictate what is & what is not acceptable meditation. Time is precious, so don't waste it on idle thinking.

Once upon a time, I was guilty of just that. Days, weeks, years that cannot be retreived, were foolishly spent. Time is just like money, in that, once you spend it, it's gone. Unfortunately we spend time without attaching any value to it, the same as we often do with money. The greatest consolation to this regret is that when change occurs, it renders new results. New beginnings come with each new day. We certainly need them because it's a guarantee that we will all make mistakes, but learning from them makes them worth making. I really mean that! Sometimes the only way 2 truly learn, is by experience, especially when that experience left a scar. Scars are reminders of where we've been & what we've done.

Don't carry regret around like a backpack, redirect that energy on changing. We owe it 2 ourselves 2 be good 2 ourselves, 4 others will follow our lead. The way we treat ourselves is the way we shall be treated by others. Learn 2 pay closer attention 2 these significant details of life. We only pass through this land 1 time, so b tru ..... b u!!!!
God is supernatural, this is why nothing is too hard for him, and why the things impossible for man are possible with God. Remove all limits from your thinking and stop putting God in the realm of the natural so you can experience the supernatural.

Walking by faith means to do just that--to not even consider what is seen in the physical, but look beyond the seen realm (the natural) and into the unseen realm (the supernatural). The key that unlocks this door is faith. The kind of faith that is accompanied by corresponding action. In other words, we will adjust not only our thinking, but our actions to the extent that our faith will be demonstrated through the way we speak and conduct ourselves.

For example, an individual who is believing God for a financial provision will confess that God is his sponsor, his resource, and proclaim with expectation the favor of God, despite the lack of manifestation. I dare you to believe in the invisible God, the one who spoke all things visible into existence. I challenge you to speak the word only and not waiver in your faith. Focus on the unrestricted ability of God and not the temporal ability of man.

Dig into your bible and find out what God has promised, commit yourself to him, surrender your will to his. The promises of God are sure and steadfast. Allow his word to rearrange your way of thinking and begin to apply the principles in his word to your life. I guarantee if you do this, God will show and prove himself faithful - - but first, you must believe.

tml ©2011

ENSLAVED trapped by the system

Keeping up with the Joneses is a lifetime goal for some. This goal is fueled by pride and ignorance. The very nature of this drive is enslaving. People misplace their worth and value upon material possessions rather than character and integrity. Prestige is marked by the amount of things acquired. Money is this world’s god. Much homage is paid to the dollar bill and it is the motivating factor in most areas of life. Success is defined by it. Status in society is determined by it. People are placed in certain classes according to it.

The sacrifices for money are endless. It’s foolish to have such esteem for a piece of paper which can burn into ashes at the touch of a flame. The love of money is indeed the root of all evil. The money itself is not evil, as often misquoted, it’s the love of it. People go all out for what and who they love. Compromises are made based on the level of love and devotion. The cause of this effect stems from associating one’s worth with the piece of paper containing the inscribed words IN GOD WE TRUST. This inscription became the official national motto of the United States on July 30, 1956 when a law was passed by the 84th Congress and approved by the President. The motto was first placed on United States coins due to the increase of religious sentiment during the Civil War. IN GOD WE TRUST was first used on paper money in 1957, when it appeared on the one-dollar silver certificate. The first paper currency bearing the motto entered circulation on October 1, 1957.

Is it God that we trust, or the Almighty dollar? Let’s face it, money equals power in today’s world. With it we function and without it, we suffer lack. But notice the insignificance of the inscribed words. Rarely does the average American say God provided, unless they are professing Christianity. Generally the population accredits the money in their pocket for their prosperity and the sole source of their provision. And the truth is, so do many professing Christians.
Now, more than ever, it’s time to lift our voices and speak boldly regarding the things we stand for. Speak loud and clear, so you will be heard in the midst of a crowded mix of spectators and perpetrators. Some folks are talking all that jazz, but ain’t saying nothing! Can you dig it? Know what you mean, and mean what you know: this is true representation. How can we speak on matters we know not? Do your homework people, educate yourself, ask questions. And please, don’t even try to fake the funk, if you don’t know, simply say so…but never leave it at that----research and find out, so you will be equipped for the next round.

In this dog eat dog world it’s every man, woman, boy, and girl for themselves. It is incumbent that we arm ourselves with the required tools to survive in this sin sick world. With so many dogmas floating in the atmosphere, (spiritual) sparring is now a way of life. The weapon of our warfare is the unruly tongue---speak the truth in love, you say. Okay, but the violent take it by force! Divorce that old unfaithful spouse named passiveness and get some backbone, throw away your wishbone! You can’t put new wine into old wineskins. (A wineskin is an animal skin, usually a goatskin, formed as a bag used to hold and dispense wine.)

“The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present.” Abraham Lincoln

“And no man puts new wine into old bottles: else the new wine does burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.” Mark 2:22

In the 21st century the time has come for a new approach, a new solution, a new wave which will ripple mainstream’s current school of thought. Being radical requires a profound knack to spit words of fire without burning the target. The idea is to get your point across in a very dominant way. You must speak loud and clear in order to be heard above the many voices competing for attention. Fully persuaded people strive to fully persuade others. Regardless of the agenda being slung, the method of the madness must be dogmatic. Being familiar with both sides of the coin is key. The cliché look before you leap is very applicable when stating any view or conviction. Nevertheless, we all learn through trial and error; but don’t rely on that method--do your homework. We all encounter phases and stages during life‘s journey. They are a part of the growing process. Being radical can be a helpful or harmful. The choice is yours, just know the cause and the effect of your methodology as to attain the outcome you so desire. Allow your motive to be one which aids others in their efforts to grow. Build people up, don’t tear them down, even if, and especially when, you disagree. I’m not promoting any sort of anti-ism, or prejudicial bashing. The significance of our approach is that it will determine our results and ultimately reveal the attitude of the angle we are attempting to deliver.

It’s very important when speaking or writing to touch on the other angles of your topic. Don’t be one-sided, otherwise you will lose the interest of those who are not already persuaded. Most likely you will be speaking to an audience of mixed views. The open-minded will always lean toward the extreme and not the status quo. This is the nature of radicalism, to step outside the boundaries and proceed with blind confidence, not yielding to the contradictions of others or folding when challenged. Controversy is what fuels the radical into motion. Opposition is actually what sparks, rather than halts, the mind of the extremist. Intimidation is not an ingredient but an aura of the afterthought which radiates from the display of confidence. The phrase I shall not be moved defines the heart of a radical. One who represents their beliefs regardless of existing rivals.

“By any means necessary.” Malcolm X

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Martin Luther King Jr.

Radicalism can be demonstrated in our everyday lives, not only from a public platform. The choices we make, the things we conform to, and the things we object to all reflect our standpoint of those things. Our outlooks denote our character and morality. Though perceptions are greatly influenced by experiences, they can be changed by new ones. Real unorthodoxy operates by free thought. A free thinker is one who is able to form their own conclusions and not conform to popular thinking in order to be accepted. Free thinkers are not afraid of controversy and refuse to accept established views or teachings but rather challenge them. Since being radical can apply to a vast array of issues, it’s important to understand I am not dealing with any particular issue per say, but merely the spirit of radicalism itself. Boldness and courage are two elements which the liberal independent thinker possesses. Dare to be different is his or her motto. From autism to racism, the non-conformist will be moved with passion and empathy to advocate their cause, convictions and firm beliefs.

Accomplishing a goal takes determination and focus. In order to attain any given goal, these two must become one. The way to fuse them is by separating oneself and becoming fully dedicated to the purpose at hand. We can achieve amazing feats by giving them our undivided attention.

Once a purpose is set in motion it needs constant tending so fruition may occur. Any lapse in attentiveness will delay the process. Lapses can allow distractions to dilute the strength of the original determination and possibly cause the entire process to cease. To avoid defeat before making it past first base, separation is required. It is unlikely that the efforts made will be the best, unless a clear line is drawn. A plan of action must be enforced. True devotion requires separation. Cluttered minds cannot function at their peak while surrounded by diversions.

Jesus knew this and that is why he stipulated that before we could follow him, we had to deny ourselves. We are our biggest distraction. Of course this is not unusual because we are responsible to tend to our own affairs. However, Jesus was referring to the focal point of our purpose. He was redirecting our attention to him. It is still expected that we handle our business as usual, but now with the understanding that God’s business is top priority.

We will actually be able to accomplish more upon prioritizing our affairs. Begin by throwing fret and fear out with the trash. They are not part of this new devotion plan. By separating from these two things alone, we free ourselves from much stress. Replace them with faith and confidence in God. It’s often stated to ‘just say no’ however, in order for this to happen, it must be replaced by something. Old unproductive habits have to be overridden by new productive actions. The word of God is full of instruction on how to do this. As we devote ourselves to the studying and application of God’s word, we will experience change. Separation will fall into place because as changed individuals we will now think on a different level. Practicing anything for any length of time causes that thing to become an unconscious habit. Something we will automatically do because the decision has already been turned into a pre-supposed determination. In other words, it has now evolved into a mind-set. The old patterns have been erased and new ones have replaced them. The initial goal is fully established.

Since the principle has been instilled and the outcome has manifested, future goals can be set and acquired. The process continues, basic and simple, true devotion always requires separation.

America has adopted an idol, coffee. The average household regularly consumes this assorted beverage. Consumption has taken place since at least around the middle of the 15th century. It’s caffeine content is an arousing stimulant, which keeps people coming back 4 more. Though, the typical person doesn’t call this an addiction, the indication lies in their continuous consumption, usually upon awakening each day. Undoubtedly, the robust flavor & aroma of coffee is very seducing with an endless variety of flavors and blends.

The "coffee break" was 1st promoted by the Pan-American Coffee Bureau in 1952. Today’s it’s a fixture in offices in the form of coffee clubs or vending machines, & has become an institution of the American workplace. More than 50% of Americans drink coffee daily — 3 to 4 cups each, more than 330 million cups a day & counting. In North America, 90% of adults consume caffeine everyday. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) lists caffeine as a "multiple purpose generally recognized as safe food substance". Coffee, nevertheless is, no doubt, 1 of the world’s most popular beverages. The driving force behind it’s popularity is the main ingredient, caffeine.

Caffeine, the Main Ingredient

Caffeine is a drug that stimulates the central nervous system by temporarily warding off drowsiness and restoring alertness. A white crystalline xanthine alkaloid that is a psychoactive stimulant drug discovered by a German chemist, Friedrich Ferdinand Runge, in 1819. He coined the term kaffein, a chemical compound in coffee, which in English became caffeine. Caffeine is one of the fastest acting drugs known to man. When we drink it, almost every cell in the body, including the brain, absorbs it within minutes. There, caffeine works it’s magic by blocking something called adenosine, a chemical the body releases to tell the brain it’s tired. Caffeine intercepts the adenosine, turning the "I’m tired," message into "I’m wide awake." The result is an invigorating buzz coffee drinkers crave. Caffeine, the world's most widely consumed psychoactive substance, is legal & unregulated(unlike other psychoactive substances) in nearly all jurisdictions. Some other illegal psychoactive substances are, cocaine, crack, Ecstasy, mescaline, cannabis, & hashish. Other psychoactive substances which are legally sold either over the counter or by prescription are, Tylenol #3, codeine, & benadryl.

Caffeine Addiction

Most coffee consumers rarely admit 2 being an addict of the substance. Regardless of their denials, caffeine addiction has clear symptoms. Signs of caffeine withdrawal usually manifest 12 to 24 hours after having the last cup. They most likely will experience 1 or more withdrawal symptoms if their craving goes unquenched. The following signs clearly indicate that the body is crying out 4 the substance 2 which it is addicted: Headache, lethargy, depressed mood, nausea, vomiting, muscle pain & stiffness. It’s common knowledge that coffeeholics “need” that 1st cup 2 get going in the morning & usually 2 or 3 more cups during the day, finally having that last cup after dinner as a nightcap. While this may not seem like an issue, because caffeine is society’s acceptable drug of choice, it still is unhealthy 2 have such a dependency.
The moment we awake from slumber we start making choices. These awakening choices can and will dictate our day. They set the tone. But at anytime the tone can be reset by changing, or redefining our choices. Evaluate yourself. That’s right, question yourself, your motives, your intentions, your purpose, and hold yourself accountable daily. Empower yourself daily, instead of just living life as a series of automated motions. Don’t allow the past, other people, or even the present define who you are. Get engaged to your destiny, to fulfilling your goals; embrace the vision that has been burning within you since you can remember.

We have all been pre-programmed to prejudge most situations. Stereotypical images have been ingrained into our brains by the messages society portrays through the media. If we unconsciously accept these images, they become a part of our cognitive processing. These depicted images prey upon vulnerable emotions, causing irrational assumptions, conclusions, or decisions to be made. Such stereotypes are used in marketing strategies to reel people into persuasion. This tactic is also used in the negative to spread a discriminative mindset against certain things or people.

Discipline is the main ingredient. You live where your focus lies. The very act of redefinition takes place in the mind. The maintenance of that redefinition also occurs in the mind. We become what we think. When we embrace a thought, or an idea, and meditate upon it, it indeed turns into a mindset. A new state of mind will maintain redefinition. Changing your mind will change your life.

Similar to finding yourself, where you merely define the obvious, redefinition goes further, by digging deeper and discovering things you never knew existed. Discovery is just a challenge away. The average person lives beneath their full potential. The redefining process expands your horizon. As you become better acquainted with your hidden capabilities, you will develop into the true person you were intended to be.

Each day is a new opportunity to become a better you. It’s simply a choice away. Resist the temptation to wallow in the mundane routine of existence. Extend yourself beyond the barriers of being average. Redefine yourself one step at a time, one day at a time, one month at a time, one year at a time. It’s indeed an ongoing process which brings refreshing rewards. Get excited about the journey and don’t put it off another moment. Begin today and empower yourself to a healthier, happier style of being. Only you truly know the exact areas which need redefining, so stop procrastinating, arise to a better you!
The fruit we produce is grown from the seeds which have taken root in our hearts. They directly reveal the contents of the heart. Consistency is the final factor which shows & proves who we really are.

True colors always shine thru the painted color of any mask we may sport 4 a season. Our spirits can be presented in a true or false way, but their actual color will always arise & shine thru the masks; it's instinctive.

In order 2 know the true person of any being, much patient observation must be endured. First impressions are unreliable b/c they can be staged &/or rehearsed. You must take on the angle of 'the fly on the wall' perspective 2 acquire an accurate persona of any individual. Developing any sort of relationship involves time & effort. The core of interaction is always a spiritual one b/c the flesh is a mere shell whose sole purpose is 2 house the spirit - or what is referred 2 as 'one's true self' or 'inner being.' Regardless of the label given, we are livings beings, restrained by our physical being 4 a time--while we are in this realm called time--until we pass back in2 eternity where time is not.

So it is not life which is short--but time.....4 1 day God will crumble up time & restore full blown eternity. Are you ready 2 meet your Maker??
Jesus predicted his return, but warned that 'no man,' not even himself, knows the day or the hour. We must keep this in the front of our minds, as opposed to the back. The time to seek God with all our being is now! We need divine revelation and insight to live soberly and godly lives during these last days. If we diligently seek God daily, he will give us divine direction. Through the indwelling Spirit, we can know and understand the hidden things of God. Let us be serious about our relationship with our Father by acknowledging Him in all our ways and not leaning on our own understanding. Let us stop making foolish assumptions based on old information. People and situations change, and God is aware of them and it. It is not necessary for us to frustrate ourselves trying to figure anything out. God to the all-knowing, all-knowing, the all-present One. Our actions reflect just where our hearts are. If we are truly serious about our salvation and the mission assigned us, we will, indeed, stay plugged in to the CEO of our faith.

I have made a new declaration this month: I will go straight to the source when I have an inquiry, rather than feed off of hearsay. I will pray more diligently regarding situations which are not right, rather than discuss them fruitlessly (better known as gossiping). I will live a Holy Ghost controlled life. I realize that this declaration will cause me to be targeted by the enemy. Some people I assumed were for me, well, let's just say everyone's true colors will surface. I have braced myself for this attack, because I am aware that sometimes taking a real stand is a soloist's act. But yet I know God is my refuge and strength!
