The move was driven by heavy call options activity, not company news.

Day traders crowded into Webull's call options on Wednesday. Trading volumes were about three times the usual level, resulting in the unusual situation of daily trades outnumbering the open interest positions for several short-dated call options. Traders chiefly bought the weekly June 12 calls at the $6 and $6.50 strikes, betting the stock would keep running. These strike prices are just above last night's closing price of $5.41 per share.

Short-dated call buying can be self-reinforcing. Dealers who sell calls often hedge incoming option orders by purchasing shares, which adds upward pressure. The reverse is also true: if the stock fails to clear key strike prices, those hedges unwind, and the stock can give back gains quickly.

SpaceX Stock Is Almost Here. The stock now trades more than 35% below its 52-week high of $207.52 and is down about 26% year to date.

The decline stands in sharp contrast to the business itself, which is growing faster than it ever has as a public company. But there's more reason to be bullish than just the metrics.

An insider made a $35 million purchase of Robinhood stock, and insiders can be a good indicator of what's to come for a company. On top of that, Robinhood is moving into more investment banking markets through IPOs, which could drive another leg of revenue growth long-term. The rocket maker is set to go public on Friday in what promises to be the largest initial public offering (IPO) in stock market history. Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (aka SpaceX) will begin trading on the Nasdaq exchange using the ticker symbol "SPCX."

The expanding space economy, recent voyages beyond the moon, and the potential to get in on the ground floor of likely the biggest public debut in history have whipped the hype cycle into overdrive. As a result, many investors plan to lay out their hard-earned cash as soon as the stock begins trading. While there are plenty of reasons to be bullish, a number of challenges lie ahead that will determine whether SpaceX turns out to be a profitable investment for those who take the plunge on Friday.

Let's take a look to see what's on the horizon.

2 Stocks That Could Soar from SpaceX's $26.5 Trillion Artificial Intelligence (AI) Empire

As SpaceX pursues its grand goals, both Tesla and Nvidia are positioned to benefit.

In SpaceX's filing for an initial public offering (IPO), two numbers stand out: $28.5 trillion and $26.5 trillion. It's also more than four times oversubscribed.

Instead of chasing SpaceX's wild market debut, it's smarter to buy two other stocks that will benefit from the same tailwinds without the stomach-churning volatility: Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB), which launches reusable orbital rockets like SpaceX, and AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ: ASTS), which produces Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites like SpaceX's Starlink.

Why Micron Stock Is Losing Ground Again Today

Micron's incredible rally has been halted by a recent surge of bearish catalysts.

Micron (NASDAQ: MU) stock is getting hit with another sizable pullback in Wednesday's trading. Sometimes, it can be something pretty subtle and under the radar if you are looking for the right things. That could be the case with e.l.f. Beauty (NYSE: ELF), which recently unveiled new summer products.

So why do I think this could be a big sales driver for e.l.f. Beauty? The first reason is the source of the information, my teenage daughter. Teenagers can actually be a great source for the latest trends impacting brands, and my daughter eagerly told me these new offerings were set to be hugely popular and that Rhode sales were about to skyrocket.

Is Dogecoin the Smartest Crypto Buy Under $1?

You can get a lot of the dog-themed crypto for a single bill, as it's currently priced under $0.10.

Certain investments are tempting simply because of their ultra-low price. This, plus years of viral fame/notoriety, and the enduring support of a gregarious billionaire, are factors keeping Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) on investors' radars.

Of course, none of these are sufficient reasons for anyone to snap up hundreds, thousands, or even millions of these dirt cheap meme coins. Instead, let's look at whether Dogecoin is fundamentally sound enough to be the most beneficial, long-term crypto investment we can buy for under a buck.

Dogecoin is the leading meme coin, and with a market cap approaching $14.7 billion it's the 10th largest cryptocurrency by that metric. But over the past 12 months, Rocket Lab's stock has nearly quadrupled as it dazzled the market with its rapid growth. It isn't profitable yet, but it could still be worth buying for four simple reasons.

Rocket Lab's Electron rocket can carry small payloads of up to 300 kilograms into low Earth orbit. The conflict disrupted shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, which accounts for roughly a quarter of the world's maritime oil trade, and boosted many oil stocks.

But as of this writing, Brent crude trades at about $87 per barrel. After all, an S-1 form is the first place a company provides us with hard numbers, and numbers famously don't lie.

But although the numbers in the financial tables of SpaceX's recently updated prospectus aren't lying, they're also not showing the whole picture.

Now, it's not like SpaceX is concealing anything: the prospectus clearly states that some numbers aren't being included. But to get the full picture of the ticking time bomb that's awaiting IPO investors, I had to piece together data from at least half a dozen different sections of the document. Here's the unpleasant surprise I found.

Should You Buy SpaceX Stock on Day 1?

SpaceX will begin trading on the Nasdaq this Friday, June 12.

The buzz around SpaceX's (NASDAQ: SPCX) upcoming initial public offering (IPO) this week has reached a fever pitch. With Elon Musk's rocket empire poised to list on the Nasdaq on June 12, retail and institutional investors alike are salivating at the opportunity to own a piece of the company behind Starlink, reusable rockets, and an ambitious sovereign AI roadmap.

The question smart investors are asking is whether scooping up shares on the first day of trading is a smart move, or a costly thrill ride. Spoiler alert: History suggests the latter. It's also crushing the competition. The other three publicly traded ocean cruise giants have posted gains of 11%, 2%, and a 6% decline over the past year. What makes Viking different? Can the company keep up its momentum, helping the stock rise sharply again over the next three years?

The answer arguably hinges on two things above all: whether Amazon Web Services (AWS), its cloud computing business, can keep growing at the strong clip it has demonstrated recently, and whether the enormous sums the company is pouring into artificial intelligence (AI) start paying off fast enough to justify them.

Here's a close look at Amazon's underlying business, and where I think the stock could be three years from now.

Why Uranium Energy Stock Is Plummeting Again Today

You'd be surprised to learn the real story behind the uranium stock's fall.

Uranium Energy (NYSEMKT: UEC) is facing a sharp sell-off, with shares plunging another 8.7% today as of 11:15 a.m. ET Wednesday. To some degree, it makes sense, given its leadership in satellite launches, government-led space initiatives, Starlink's satellite internet constellation, and xAI's compute power.

The hype over the SpaceX IPO is only matched by the expected valuation. At an estimated $1.8 trillion market cap, the company, at the time of its IPO, would be worth 20% more than Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), 14 years after that company went public as Facebook. Here's why one Vanguard ETF offers a smarter way to invest $1,000 right now.

There's something interesting going on in the stock market. The S&P 500 is hitting record high after record high, but of the 500 companies in the index, only about 20 are actually trading at their own all-time highs.

The high-flying AI-linked megacaps -- companies like Nvidia, Microsoft, and Meta -- are pushing the index higher while hundreds of individual stocks from less flashy parts of the economy are falling behind.

I think it's a perfect time to diversify and broaden your exposure away from these AI names into more value-driven stocks. You may be thinking about buying a stake in this well-touted stock once it begins trading, in fact, or perhaps you're even hoping to participate directly in the initial placement.

If you're a risk-tolerant long-term investor, though, there may be a better bet. Rather than jumping into a newly minted ticker that's at least as likely to be lower as it is to be higher within a few weeks, consider stepping into a position in Bloom Energy (NYSE: BE) while the stock's cooled off a bit from its red-hot rally earlier this year.

Never heard of it? While Nvidia's GPUs dominate model training and inference deployments, Huang's comments underscore Marvell's emerging momentum in the AI infrastructure layer.

Marvell offers a complete portfolio purpose-built for hyperscale AI development. Its custom ASICs, high-speed Ethernet controllers, and optical digital signal processors (DSPs) serve as the pipes that move AI workloads within data centers.

As chip clusters reach hundreds of thousands of accelerators per rack, the bottleneck shifts from compute capacity to low-latency networking and efficient memory transfers. The cybersecurity giant harnesses the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver a wide variety of solutions to its customers -- and that has resulted in increasing adoption rates and revenue.

Investors have been eager to get in on this company that is successfully using AI, as the stock has climbed 320% over the past three years. And this year, it's advanced about 35% to trade at more than $600 a share. This fantastic gain has inspired CrowdStrike to do something that several other tech giants -- from Nvidia to Broadcom -- have done in recent years. CrowdStrike announced a stock split, an operation that will bring down the per-share price and therefore make the stock more accessible to investors.
