The current Seahawks linebackers consists of three 2nd year players in Michael Morgan, K.J Wright and Malcom Smith. All three players are talented, but very young and inexperienced. Fletcher would be able to come in and stabilize this position with his experience.

If Fletcher was OK with signing a one year contract, the Seahawks would be foolish to pass on Fletcher and his ability to mentor such a young group of players.

The 29 year old Jacobs is now free to sign with any team after being released by the Giants. Not many teams in the NFL will be interested in signing a bruising 29 year old running back like Jacobs, but the Patriots could be looking for a running back to replace 35 year old Kevin Faulk if he decides to retire. The Patriots also had Sammy Morris on the roster when he was in his 30′s. The Patriots could also use a big back like Jacobs on their roster. We’ll see if this actually happens, but if you look at the Patriots history you’ll see they’ve always had an older running back on their roster and Jacobs be next in line to carry on this tradition.

The Redskins just gave up the house to get Griffin, but could be worth it if Griffin turns out to be an elite quarterback. Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has over paid free agents in the past and he might have overpaid for the rights to draft Griffin.

The Rams made out like a bandit in this trade. If it takes Griffin a few years to develop then the Rams will be drafting in the top ten for the next 3 years which should help improve their team.

My gut feeling tells me Griffin won’t be mentioned with the likes of Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers in terms of production, but I do think he’ll be an upper tier 2 quarterback.

The Steelers have plenty of talent if Wallace leaves. Both Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Brown had breakout years in 2011; so losing Wallace won’t be a huge problem for the Steelers passing game. The Steelers traded away Santonio Holmes in 2010 and the Steelers had little problem finding his replacement.

If Wallace does hit the free agency market; is he worth top dollar money? Wallace has great speed, but he isn’t a great all around receiver. With so many top receivers in the free agent class this year; Wallace could take a back seat to the likes of Stevie Johnson, Vicent Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, DeSean Jackson and Marques Colston in terms of getting top dollar.

Wallace’s won’t have a problem finding a team to play for in 2012, but the Steelers offense could be a lot different with out Wallace. The Steelers will find a receiver in the draft, but the chances of finding a player with Wallace’s speed are slim to none.

The Packers had the 27th ranked rushing attack in 2011 and in their playoff loss to the Giants; Aaron Rodgers was the teams leading rusher which isn’t a good thing. When things are not going right in the passing game, having the ability to run the ball is the difference between winning games and losing games.

The current stable of Packer running backs includes Ryan Grant, James Starks and John Kuhn and none of them have the ability to be the featured back. Bush would instantly upgrade this unit from below average to above average and be the work horse the Packers need.

The only 2 things that could keep the Packers from signing Bush is his age (27) and the amount of money he wants in his contract. Bush is only 3 years away from the dreaded age of 30, so signing him to a longer term contract would not be a good idea. If Bush was willing to sign a 3 year deal with most of the money upfront, Bush would be stupid not to sign with a Super Bowl contending team.
