Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was his native name and commonly known as Cristiano Ronaldo. He was born on 5th February 1985 and a Portuguese footballer. Ronaldo plays as a forward for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and leads the team as captain of the Portuguese national team. Later on he became the most costly footballer in history subsequent to moving from Manchester United to Real Madrid. Ronaldo set up his football career as a youth player for Andorinha, by serving 2 years. He moved in to Portuguese giants Sporting Clube de Portugal in 1997. Then he was signed for €15 million by Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and achieved his first club honour, the FA Cup in the following season. Ronaldo holds many past and present scoring records. He is also renowned for his implausible work ethic.

Lionel Messi

Lionel Andrés “Leo” Messi is his full name. Messi is an Argentine footballer who was born on 24 June 1987. He plays as a forward for La Liga club FC Barcelona and the Argentina national team. He is also the captain of his country’s national football team. Messi won the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award in year 2010–11. Messi was nominated as Barcelona’s all-time top scorer in all official club competitions and became the youngest player to score 200 La Liga goals at age 25.
He also won the 2010–11 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. At the age of 24, Messi became Barcelona’s all-time top scorer in all official club competitions. At age 25, Messi became the youngest player to score 200 La Liga goals. His playing style and stature is similar to Diego Maradona.

David Beckham

David Robert Joseph Beckham is a former English footballer who was born on 2 May 1975. He is renowned as an outfitted player. He has represented and played in Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, Los Angeles Galaxy, French League 1 club Paris Saint-German, and the England national team. However Beckham started his professional career with Manchester United when he was 17 years old. He won the Premier League title six times and the FA cup twice. Though Beckham ended his football career in May 2013, his hairstyle is a popular trend.

Ricardo Kaka

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite was born on born 22 April 1982. Initially he represented as a Brazilian football player attacking midfielder. At present he plays for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team. Kaká started his football career at the age of eight by playing in a local football club. He became the youngest ambassador of the UN World Food Programme in 2004. In addition to the football career, he also features significantly in Adidas advertising and also has a modeling contract with Armani.

Though these ancient games were revealed to be closer to rugby than football, they are still loosely believed to be the base for modern day football. Discovering how football was invented (soccer) means looking closer at the Chinese game of Tsu-Chu, which roughly translates to kickball. Dating back to the Tsin Dynasty, this game was actually a training exercise for soldiers who controlled a ball with their feet then kicked it into a net strung between two trees. This early version of the game found the net hung 30 feet off the ground rather than flush on the grass as in today’s football games.
