At the last minute, a photographer friend had a critical family situation, so I stepped in to shoot Susan and Mike’s lovely winter wedding in Picton, Prince Edward County, Ontario. It was an intimate, family affair with a simple ceremony followed by a lovely meal at their home with their family and friends. Enjoy!

In case you’re wondering what the Forbes Photographer photobooth looks like, here’s a photo of it in use.

It’s basically a self-serve booth, with a remote control that trips the shutter – so you press the button and have 2 seconds to hide the remote, then the photo is taken. It’s pretty easy to figure out – as you can see, these kids figured it out and had a blast.

And here’s a resulting photo …

The booth is basically a 6′ x 6′ x 6′ cube, so we’d need that much room somewhere in your reception space … and the easier the booth is to see and get to, the more it will be used (near the bar is good – but not TOO near the bar haha).

Kathryn and Don live WAAAAAY up north, but have fond memories of Kingston, where they’re getting married next summer. So they came back for a fall-themed romp around downtown Kingston.

Chelsea and Jake are getting married next year, and I wanted to try something different, so we went out at night to a local high school and I tried to use the ambient street/flood lights to make for some dramatic lighting and funky poses.
