Wow. I'm having shoulder aches now!! Went to play badminton with becka, duane, yi xiong and deqin. We booked the indoor badminton court @ Cheng San CC to my surprise it was almost fully when i was booking it. Can go here to book facilities or sign up for courses in community centers ya. :D the guys are good! Cant keep up with their smacking man! Really exercise every muscles we ran and our arms flew about like smacking flies :D But it's abit too much and i've aches now. But it rocks. Will want go again. Hehes. Liz and seb went play badminton too. Couldn't join them cos they were playing at the exact same time. Hehes hope they'll go again soon. :)

Just an update what i've done the past month. I went prawning with wei lun at Khatib! She was really nice to organise this trip :) Her friends later joined us. Was really interesting to see the lobsters trying to 'tao jia' (偷吃) the food on the hook. Slowly they swam towards to food and set their pincers on it. And many times we thought we got them but they escaped! They are so strong and fast. Think many people went there to prawn. They're trained. =x

After that we went back to her house and she cooked a super delicious dish. Egg with enoki mushrooms and minced meat. I also had a gathering with 3 of my secondary school friends after their exams! They are my besties :) We finally met after so long and it was really nice. We went to our common place of interest. KTV @ Clementi Kbox! After that we went our separate ways. Hope to meet up with them again. I love the girls. :)

Such a long post this time. Dar dar is having his last paper tmr evening! Finally. He end so late. Poor thing. Actually i'm abit disappointed that after his paper we cant meet. It's our 22nd monthliversary. Wanted to surprise him with something. But he had arranged a tuition after that. But it's not his fault also.. Cause he owed his students alot tuitions due to his exams.. plus they are having exams soon. To think of it their exams are really more important cos it's only once. We can go out anytime next week again.. Hees i must learn how to be more selfless.. by the grace of God. :) Okays a final pic to end this post!

ahhh....! I bought Yoga's Lin CD...! O.O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow and i will not buy a CD which i think it's not worth it. :) So i've a whole collection of Jay Chou's CD. Haha. But i nv thought that i will buy Yoga's CD. When i first saw him singing on campus superstar, he left a very deep impression. Deep and BAD impression. Looks like a zombie singing oops. =x But because it was so bad, and i wonder how he had gotten champion in taiwan's 超級星光大道1. So i searched You Tube. And i watched ALL his competition videos. . i was literally speechLESS. It was w o w amazing. The way he sings kinda captivates me. He put his feelings into the songs so much, it pulls me into the song itself. It's like although many singers can sing with feelings, but they don't leave that effect. He enjoys music, and sings with passion. I don't know what happened to him that he sang the way he did to deimpress ppl in the campus superstar. Dar dar was like HUHUHUHUHUHUH when i told him i will be buying his CD! Dar don't really like him haha. But i believe he has the potential lehs. Haha. Okays. And i was disappointed that '那首歌' is not in the CD. But i was going to buy it anyway. mei mei! I guess yikit will have the same reaction ba if you do the same thing. Haha.

Hehes met up with Yahlan and Elizabeth this afternoon. :) Yahlan needs help in typing some stuffs for Easter. And we had a great lunch @ Raffles City newly renovated food court :D Shared a sliced fish brocolli with liz and she ate so little! She broke my record O.O Hehes liz was so funny and we went crappy. Today was the very first time i talk to Yahlan and met her in such small group. She is very nice and warm.. Hehes it's like the peace and love of God surrounds her! :) She is quite humorous too hehes and she shared with her daughter Enya and baby son Joakim development. Hehes i was totally amazed that Enya actually started to sense and process emotions at 16 months! She was able to say "sorry papa" then already! And their children loves their father and mother and has good interactions ya. Now she's 3 and has really good EQ. Hees the blessing of God is really prominant in her life. :)

A semester break for me now. No more school for now. :) I think this is a turning point in my life, to walk away from the norm and to face a different challenge. I have many doubts for my future but i'm going to trust them all into God's hands. :) I want to go exercise! I feel that my blood circulation are jammed and the muscles are sleeping away snoring. So uncomfortable! I'm going to do it this evening hehes hope it doesn't rain! :D

Woo i'm gonna pick up guitar this period of time and i desire to play it for God and people i love. And for own leisure too i love music! I've bought a Crafter's guitar from lyon last year and i have yet to start playing. Yays at least it won't be a dust collector anymore. Am waiting for dar to help me change my guitar strings.. Thankews dar! Excited :) Most importantly i want to build up my health and be more fit hehes want eat more and build more muscles :D I have learnt a tough lesson for neglecting my body's need. Without health, there's nothing much we can do. 2009 i thank God for the things He's going to do in my life in advance. :)

Last wed we painted dar dar's tuition room cum cell group place. Hehes thanks to Eunice for her lovely idea. :) It is a painting of a mustard tree represented in Matt 13:31-32. When the smallest seed of all which is a mustard seed a man planted in the field, it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in the branches. It represents the strength of God empowering in our life. And the tree will bear many fruits which is represented by the spirit man swinging on the tree. We strive in life to plant seeds which will grow into a big tree and bear many fruits. This can be in terms of sowing into people's life, in our workplace, and in our personal well-being whatsoever. Happy valentine's to all! :) Hugs and love to my girl friends out there. :) I love the lilies and i love you even more darling. Now my room smells so nice because of you. Hehes. :)

Yest's service was really fantastic and super funny. Haha the drama people really acted so well. Plus Pastor's Kong's jokes and all makes the message so alive. Since it's Valentine's day, Pastor has started a series of message for Relationships/Marriage. Thank you Pastor Kong :):)The bible message for this series is 1 Corinthians 7:3 (GNB) "A man should fulfil his duty as a husband, and a woman should fulfil her duty as a wife, and each should satisfy the other's need." We all have needs. When we love somebody, we will want to meet his/her need. Just like how God have met our needs. When two are married, they should meet each other's needs, and they should give each other's exclusive rights. When the needs are not met, frustration and unhappiness will build up. And conflicts will occur. Marriage is when we vow to spend the whole lifetime with that one person. If that one person cant meet the needs, who can they seek? They will tend to seek the needs elsewhere and that often leads to an affair. It is not intentional and not delibrate. But because the husband and wife does not meet each other's needs. We all have a LOVE BANK for somebody and Love units accumlate and decrease as according to the experience we have with the person.

I believe this is so so true. We cannot be selfish and self-centered in a relationship. If i expect my husband to be meet my needs, i cant neglect his. I want care and affection, but i cant simply just think of myself and my own needs only. Cos he is human too. Who doesnt have needs? He has his needs and i will love to fulfil his needs.

Pastor Kong then talked about the Top 5 needs of women and men, from a survey made for 25 years. He refered to many bible verses and i realise man is Human and not God. And many things like He stopped at the 3rd need cause not enough time and he will continue next week! It's really so true and i think we should learn to meet each other's need in order to have a fulfiling relationship. Thank God for His love and example.

Top 5 needs of Woman

1. Affection
It symbolises security, protection, comfort and approval. The use of expressive words is important to make a woman feels loved. Hugs and kisses are essential to keep her secure and comforted. Man may grew up unaffectionate, but if one truely love his wife, he need to learn. God is so affectionate and expressive, and we must learn to be more like Him. :)

2. Conversation
Woman is wired up for conversation and man should meet their wife's need to communicate. Without communication, wife will feel emotional detached from her husband. 15hours/week is the minimum requirement for each man to talk to his wife. :))

3. Honesty and Openness
Honesty is essential to keep the marriage from misunderstandings. Man should not keep problems from wife, saying that he don't want to worry her. It is because burden built up in man while the woman's ignorance of it will cause the marriage to topple. Husband and wife should handle the burden together and support one another.

Top 5 needs of Man

1. Sexual Fulfilment
The number one need has to be fulfilled by his wife. This doesnt mean the man is dirty or lustful. But it's just how man is wired up to be. That's how God makes us multiply. :)

2. Recreational Companionship
It is important for man to have recreation and have fun. It's important that the most enjoyable time the husband spent is with no other but the wife. The wife must be his best friend. However, the wife must enjoy it as well.

3. Attractive Spouse
We may think that if the guy really love us, he should accept who we are. But one important fact that we need to know is that man is Human, not God. God looks at our heart, but man is attracted to appearance. And wife need to remain attractive even when married for many years.

I think these are all so true. Let us be better lover and make marriage heaven. :)

Today i skipped lecture again. Was feeling very weak since i had fever last fri night. Plus the sleepless nights i felt my body is failing me. I hardly done any school work yet. But i want to be strong. Tiredness and and the discomfort that i have shall not stop me from seeking God. He is the source of my strength. I do not want to resent God like why i keep falling sick and things don't seems to get well. I am thankful to Him that He made me realise alot of things i wouldn't have if i didn't go through all these. He is all full of grace and merciful. He made me realise that this world don't revolve around just us alone. The love people showed me really touched me from deep bottom.. There are many many people around us who are in need of help.. but how often do we really give our time.. in midst of such self-centered life.. to be there to help and be their comfort.. Jesus was there for people and not for Himself. It's time to reflect on our life and see how many people have we blessed and helped.. Many times it's these that determine how fruitful and satisfying our life is.. Thank You Jesus.. I shall be more of you and less of myself. I thank all who stood by me.. You all made a significant difference in my life. . Love you all. T_T

Today i went for medical checkup at ttsh. Finally :) The doc says my heart is fine. He asked if i want to undergo an exercise ECG test to double check but.. it's ex! so decided to forgo it! Think i am really too stressed up and even now although the doc says i'm fine, i still have some weird attacks. Fear can creep in just anytime out of nowhere and i will start to feel panicky. x . x But i thank God that He has not forsaken me. Each time when i focus onto Him and His words, it will slowly go away. The Lord is good and He is always good. He drew me out of the deepest sea. When i was in my worst period of time i seek His presence and cried out to Him hoping that He will hear my tiny voice of helplessness. And He did. He placed many people around me to encourage and help me through it. Dear Wan ee ruth cheryland wei lun thanks for praying for me for today. Hees mei meis also so sweet keep assuring me that it'll be okays.. You all are God-sent angels to me. Hugs. :)

I'm learning now how to set my priorities right. The many things that has happened has made me realise alot of things. Matt 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." I'm learning to put God first in priority. It is when we have His characters that we're able to do things well. I was too tensed up and my hearts was filled with fears and uncertainty that i got too stressed up. But 2 tim 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." Self discipline is one which i have to work on it. PROCRASTINATION is my biggest weakness. I can decide on doing the work early but ended up rushing like mad last min! And often, that happens too oftenly, i will be distracted, more easily than i thought. Hehes focusing is the new shortcut to completion of a task! The Lord will be my strength and my direction. :)

Hees next sat is Valentine's day. I'm looking forward to spend it with my dar. He is really sweet that he bought me a dress for me to wear on that day. Thanks darling i love you.. :)

I skipped school today. Was feeling unwell. Felt lethargic actually and drained. Has a rather bad appetite recently. Felt nausea and the sight of food don't make me feel good. T_T Must be the antibiotic that upset my stomach and all. But i still try to eat more thank God i didn't vomit or what. Please pray for me i have sebacous cysts and prayerfully they will be well totally and gone forever. x . x Prayerfully is a new word i've learnt from ruth. Hees she's one of the people i respect the most. ^ - ^

Hees though am not feeling that well, i had a wonderful new year! Am not going to lt it dampened my new year mood! Have uploaded loads of photo to facebook ya. Had a really great cny service on sat. Pastor Kong has impacted all of us with his word of God. He relate our chinese roots with christianity, and how God has made known Himself in many ways, only that we do not know it. Hees then i had a superb reunion dinner with my family! Had steamboat =D x . x

Hehes then went visiting to dar's house on the next day to bai nian! Saw his brother's baby so cute and bui feel like pinching his face =D

I finally blogged. So sorry that it's not updated as frequently as supposed to be. X - X My body and mind have not been good since my exam ended last semester. It had became so bad that i thought it was going to be the end of me. Seriously it was the darkest period i've ever gone through in my life. T_T I am really thankful. . for these ppl in my life. Ruth, Wan Ee, San, Cheryl, Chinghee, Alex and also dar dar and my cell group friends i am really touched by the constant prayers and encouragements you all gave.. It is because of the love of you all that i was not overcomed by my sickness. I truely believe you all are God sent. I admit and am guilty of losing faith in God.. But you all showed me how great is His love. . He is always faithful. Even when we are faithless. I will not give up and will continue to fight this battle. I believe that God put me through this for a reason too. He is not to destroy us but to strengthen us. Jeremiah 29:11 "For i know the plans i have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. For this I will continue to seek Him and His plans for me. Thank you all.. for walking through with me. . Love you all hugs let's continue to love and serve Him together.. :)

I think i'm gonna write a long entry today. Hehes too much to update. I've cut my hair! Praise God it turn out better than my long hair. Haha. But hard to maintain thought. Have to blow everyday. -.- But luckily i've only 1 8am lecture day haha poor dar dar has 4!! He has to go to bed by 10+ so early. But i'm learning to sleep early too. Hees San and i have promised each other have to make effort to sleep earlier. In order for our body to repair well, sleep from 11 to 2am is essential. A few days ago i had a big shock after weighing on dar's sophisticated weighing machine. My weight dropped to 38.5 kg! I was kinda worried cos i have been feeling weak but have now started eating more even when my appetite wasn't good. I don't want to have osteoporosis!! Haha. Junk food was a big NONO! But now think i can take some haha. But i hope i won't overeat. =X Hehes.

I've been watching "Iljimae" and i love this korean drama. The last episode was shown last night and i was quite sad that it has ended. T-T I looked forward to it everyday ya. It is really awesome. Very touching. Starring 'iljimae' is Lee Jun Ki, who starred in the movie "King and the Clown". :) One of the best actors i've seen. I love its OST too it the music arrangements are engaging and touching. T-T Gonna post some Mvs. :)

My exam ended!! Finally. Have been struggling through the whole exam period cos was not feeling well. This is the toughest sem ever........................ Haha today's last paper was pharmacology. LoLs i've invented my own drugs! Was cracking my brain to recall the particular ones out of the 100+ i've memorised. Thought i got it man. But after the whole exam i checked and it was totally out. Hope the marker won't be too hard on me. ~_~ And, I WILL NEVER TAKE PHARMACO AGAIN..........!!! X_X But still~ woohoooooo cos exam ended~!! My head hurts a great deal man. But i've have time to rest now~ :D I really thank God. He has been racing along with me! Giving me strength and motivation. Thank you God. You are just so fantastic :)

A little update :)

21st Birthday Celebration with Uni OG buddies *^ - ^* (29/10/08)

Hehes my 3rd mini celebration. Am really blessed. :) Want to thank them for celebrating for me in the midst of busy schedules! Thanks mei for organising it you're one sweet baby of mine :D Haha. We celebrated for Lyon too! So was a double celebration :D We wanted to celebrate for Jia mei too but she MIA! But wish her a happy birthday~ =D We went to NYDC @ Suntec City hehes was a really filling meal it was my first time that i finished the whole baked rice. Forgot what's the name of my baked rice but roughly remembered it's Red Hot Chilli ... Haha. We had a great time catching up with one another and it's how amazing that our OG cliques still stand strong though we seldom meet up. :) Some pictures!

Am gonna start preparing for exams already. By looking at the amount of material i need to memorise with the time i'm left, it's purely impossible to finish. I'm gonna survive this. OH. Our long term memory storage is limitless :) Psychology is so fun. But not anymore when you have to memorise the whole textbook. But still i need to press on. Cause nothing is impossible. As God is with me! :) I'm gonna believe i can do it! Yays i've did it before, and i can do it again through Christ who strengthens me! :) God bless those who are having exams orH jia you jia you!! *^ - ^* Think i'm gonna be missing until Dec again. Love is the greatest thing God created for us. He loves us unconditionally and His love is perfect. How can i love if He has not loved us first? His love for us sets an example for me. . I need to grow so much. To love not for myself but for others. I don't want to be impatient. Don't want to envy the love of others. Don't want to let pride rule over it. Don't want to love because i want to be loved. Don't want to love to expect something n return. Don't want to be frustrated easily. Don't want to be unforgiving. So many of them make me imperfect in love. So many times have i stumbered and fall. Love is not selfish. Too much expectations makes love hard and how many times have we fallen into it. It is not easy to love, yet it is such a beautiful thing. How many of the people in love can really love like You do.. God only You can love us this way and i ask that You teach us how to love like You do. . T_T I was really upset today. Know dar was too. By our reactions to each other. How many times have we blamed each other. Finding faults in each other and how much hurtful words were said. The whole conversation or rather argument was just.. unGodly. :( It made us both upset. And made me wonder how much have we actually love each other in the way it should be. But i truly love you darling. And i know you do so too.. But why all these hurful things.. T_T Let's not love according to our own ways darling.. Let's grow in the Lord. No more blaming. No more stabbing each other's heart. And all of these nonsense, when we love each other so much.. We need to reflect. And i really need. But i thank God.. For His love keeps us strong and gives us hope. He in our midst will make our love perfect.. Thank you God. .

Birthday Celebration with Darling (*n _ n)(n - n*) (12/10/08)

Darling brought me out on my actual birthday *^ - ^* I was anticipating it the night before and couldn't sleep! Haha didn't tell him this =x It has been so long since we can have the whole day to our own! Have been so busy and caught up with school work and all that we only have little time together. But nonetheless we cherished each and every moment spent. :) So i was real excited to spend the whole day with him! =D

Dar dar waited for me at my house downstairs cause i took a long time preparing. Haha. Dar brought me all the way to Jurong and told me that he was bringing me to some nature reserves cause i like biology -.- LoL but he brought me to Snow City in the end! Wow first time going to snow city. We spent an hour inside. It was freezing inside my nose hurts and our hands all numb! Guessed we're not used to it. Actually it has nothing much, but i love the slide! Dar dar and me played for around 5 times haha went out to warm up abit after every slide =x Took some pictures outside the chamber *^ - ^*

After the cold and all, we went to the Science Centre just beside it! Hehes so fun! Dar brought me to the Nanotech part which he's specialising on. He was so excited in showing me the weird stuffs. Had a great time learning from him LoL. After that i brought him to the BIO section hahaha. Walked around till around 5+. Took a few photos.

Hehes after walking for so long we were so hungry! And i was looking forward to have our dinner. Dar said he will be bringing me to Kopitiam. Haha. He never fails to do that when he wants to bring me to nice place. :) Dar bought a top for me and after i've changed we went
to Novena :) Dar finally brought me to Vienna International Seafood & Teppanyaki Restaurant @ United Square and it was so packed with people! We got a table which was besides the wall fountain. The atmosphere was great though :D Hehes the food there were too much for appetite and we couldn't finished trying all of them. Have a great feast =D Didn't take any photos of the food haha too hungry to do that.

Wow. Long break from blogging. And now i'm back with a spirit-filled heart :) Been busy with lotsa stuffs. School and church but it's all worth it. :) I cut my hair! The past weeks were quite a horrible period for me. Don't know how to describe. And it had gave me 'hangover' cos i'm feeling like empty now.. Hope i have not break any of my brain nerves. (X-X) Though things may not go according to what i want it to be (it normally don't), i know i'm blessed. I'm blessed with parents who love and care for me so much, a brother who disturbs me but i know he does dotes on me, sisters and friends who will stand by me when i'm in need and a boyfriend who will go through thick and thin with me. I love them all.. And i'm most blessed with having God who never fails, to comfort me and be there for me, whenever i need. Recently i feel so tired and just don't feel like doing anything.. Like now.. X . X But i know God you're going to pick me up again and make me strong. Who can do this except you. > <

My grandma (mom's side) is in hospital now. Visited her today. It was her third time there in just a few months. She held me hand and my mom said she loves to hold her grandchildren's hands. So i didn't let go of her hand until we had to go back.. I can see that she is very happy that we all went to visit her.. Cause not only us but her children (my aunts and uncles) all went back and forth. She looked so weak and she struggled to talk to us. She looked as if she don't bear to see us go and i felt really sad. The doc actually told us to prepare for the worst yesterday unless a miracle happens. Please pray for her.. Thankews.. T_T

Finally had immuno test. Left 15 blanks out of 85 questions. But have already done my best! Don't want to lose more marks cause of negative marking X . X Done my lab report yesterday too, and only slept for 1+ hrs. But the amazing thing was when i woke up, i felt like i'd slept for like 5 hours. Thank you God for multiplying my sleep time :) I'm gonna take a short short break.. Before everything starts again. I want to watch WALL E~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ No time to watch till now!
