A new breakthrough secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks FREE!

A gentleman from New York discovered what he calls an “oversight” on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get otherwise paid-for advertising at Google as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.

And no, nothing about his “secret” is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the “inside” at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.

Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly “…this is something that I caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first … but which I later expanded on after getting the hang of it.”

This same fellow went on to start and operate sixteen separate online companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children’s toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses - all the while applying his mastermind secret.

Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses “I’ve actually gotten over $87 million in advertising that using my secret I never had to pay for … and the largest share of which was more recently in Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of pad advertising at search engines … all of which I got for free …”

So powerful is his secret that he’s able to monopolize any niche online, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.

He still has to set up an account with the search engines - but after applying his secret he is removed from having to pay for all the costs otherwise involved.
Again, nothing about his secret is either illegal or robs from the search engines.
One spokesperson from one of the most popular search engines said chuckling after being made privy to this amazing secret “Wow! Ha! This is really unique … and in my expert opinion it would only serve to enhance and bring more business to us at [name of search engine withheld for legal & confidentiality reasons] and not cause us to lose business in the slightest. Amazing!”

The northerner revealed that in this nearly eight years’ period of time since applying his secret he’s done well over $300 million in sales revenue with a most diverse line of products, and most recently in the last two years netted nearly $166 million after really “buckling down and pressing my secret to its fullest potential.”

Now to everyone else’s fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he’s not promising any of us for how long.

A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says “We’ll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things.”

One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret “he’s already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it’s still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this.”

It is currently available at:

FREE GOOGLE ADS

…so you may want to head on over there now and get it.

It’s in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.

While you’re there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?

In an effort to attract foreign retirees and investors, Dominican politicians have put together a plan that many Baby Boomers and even Gen-Xers will find hard to dismiss. One of the most alluring and surprising aspects of this mulit-faceted plan to make the Dominican Republic the Numero Uno Caribbean retirement destination is the fact that there is no age barrier...people of any age are eligible!

Want to become a millionaire overnight? Move to the Dominican Republic! Okay, that may be somewhat of an exaggeration on my part. But the truth is, if only because of the fact that you are a “Gringo” (i.e. American, Canadian, European, Asian, etc.) the second your soles hit Dominican earth, the locals will treat you as if you are filthy-stinking-rolling-in-dollar-bills rich.

This has its advantages and disadvantages, here in the DR as anywhere else. But in all honesty, new laws have recently been put in place by the Dominican congress that could quite literally make it possible for you to live like royalty on a very modest monthly pension and/or investment dividend check (by American and European standards).

In an effort to attract foreign retirees and investors, Dominican politicians have put together a plan that many Baby Boomers and even Gen-Xers will find hard to dismiss. One of the most alluring and surprising aspects of this mulit-faceted plan to make the Dominican Republic the Numero Uno Caribbean retirement destination is the fact that there is no age barrier…people of any age are eligible! As long as you can provide proof of a passive, steady income from interest dividends of at least $2,000 per month (as well as an additional $250 per spouse and/or child), you can enjoy the many benefits of relocating to the DR.

Such seductive tax incentives include:

Zero Tax regarding the title transfer taxes when you purchase your first home or apartment

Zero Tax on interest income or dividends derived from investments abroad or local

50% off any annual real estate tax owed (FYI: property owners do not pay annual property taxes on any real estate worth RD$5 Million Pesos/US$150,000 or less, but you must pay tax on the prorated value above that amount)

50% OFF capital gains taxes of income from you receive as a shareholder of a company not involved in any commercial or industrial activities (such as from a holding company)

No (zero, zilch, nada) import tax on your personal belongings that you bring into the country as a new resident. You, of course, are responsible to pay all of the shipping costs associated with moving overseas, but in previous years the taxes were so steep that it was advisable to sell off everything you owned and buy everything new down here…a real drag economically and emotionally.

Of course, you would also enjoy the pleasures of nearly-perfect year-round weather, gorgeous tropical beaches, mountains and river valleys, a stable democratic government, low-cost yet high-quality health and dental care, affordable domestic help, high-interest financial products offered by the local banks, as well as good infrastructure and internet connectivity throughout the country.

Whether it’s affordable beach town living or the lifestyle of a country estate you seek, the Dominican Republic is happy to oblige. For example, the once tiny resort town of Juan Dolio on the southern coast of the DR is flourishing into a lovely little boomtown. New high-rise seaside apartment buildings and condominium complexes are sprouting up like coconut palms, and selling-out before they’re even built. New foreign-born residents are enjoying the many local restaurants, two top class golf and country clubs, a short drive to the city for mall-shopping and Gringo delights like TGI Fridays and movies in English.

Opportunities abound in this up-and-coming tropical paradise. The gradual implementation of DR-CAFTA trade initiatives promise lower prices on goods of American origin, as well as the inevitable influx of US businesses sure to make any Gringo feel a lot less homesick. With inflation and a credit/mortgage crisis threatening the ability of millions of Americans to retire with dignity, it is easy to see why the Dominican Republic is gaining ground as more than just a vacation destination. The DR is set to become “Home Sweet Home” to the world’s smartest retirees…of all ages.

Paying for information can save you hours and hours of precious time...time you could be spending with loved ones, watching TV, sleeping, sitting at the end of a bar swilling a cold brew or brewing up a batch of bathtub crystal meth. Whatever your preference. I'm not here to judge, just to remind you that internet research is time consuming, frustrating and often discouraging. How many times have you opened web site after web site you thought had the info you were looking for, only to find it's got no relation to your topic of interest?

As a writer of both fiction and nonfiction, it is only natural that I would encourage everyone to pay for the information that they want and need. But in all honesty, I have a hard drive full of free reports, ebooks, audio files and now video clips that I have collected from participating in about a trillion JV “Giveaways” over the past few months. Of this glut of information using up valuable space on my valuable PC, I estimate that I have gotten to peruse only about 5% of it, if even that.

Sure, I’ve tried to force myself to delete as much of it as possible, but like George Costanza’s father who so passionately cataloged each and every TV Guide he’d received over the past 40 years, I just can’t let go. I know there’s not enough time for me to ever put it all into my own memory bank; even if I had the mental capacity to hold it all, I certainly don’t have the wits to make use of it once it was in there anyway.

However, I have made time to read and ponder some of the ebooks I have acquired. Which ones, you may ask? The ones I PAID for! You can bet your boots that I found the time to read those puppies. If I buy an ebook or pay for a download of any sort of media, I feel a terrible guilt until I gleen as much info from it as I can.

It goes back to that crusty old truth that we all know and hate…if you give something to someone, they don’t appreciate it. If you sell something to someone, they’re likely to treasure it.

Another good reason to pay for the information that you consume is this: People who charge for what they write are more likely to provide quality work. Time and again, I have discovered in the multitude of files I have received for “free” (i.e. in exchange for my first name and email address and endless hours deleted unwanted promotional email from these internet marketing ‘gurus’), scripts that don’t work, ebooks I can’t even open, and information that is outdated by years.

Often, you’ll get that feeling of deja vu as you read something you thought you’d never come across before. That’s because they changed the cover art and the title on an ebook that you read back in 2003 (and probably didn’t put to any good use back then).

Now I don’t mean to get on the bad side of internet marketers, but if I get one more email from some self-proclaimed “guru” pushing somebody else’s latest and greatest ebook that is sure to change the face of the internet as we know it, I’m going to bleach my hair, buy colored contacts and change my email address so they can’t find me. I don’t mind getting emails promoting products…I’ve discovered a lot of great things through email marketing. What I hate is getting the EXACT SAME COOKIE-CUTTER EMAIL from a bunch of different people.

It’s the main reason I have chosen to stay away from email marketing myself. I find it irritating that these marketers think I’m such a chump that I won’t notice that they couldn’t even be bothered to customize the form emails they’re sending out to make it at least seem like guru so-and-so may really be their “good friend”. This last bit of ranting may be a non-sequitur, but I couldn’t hold back.

In any case, the internet has spawned a generation of writers and encouraged people who thought they could barely write their own names to express themselves, share their experiences and help educate and entertain us all. Writing is hard work, and people who care enough to pound the keys and put out text that others can actually use should be rewarded for their efforts.

I have been criticized myself for charging for my ebook, “How to Get High-Quality Plastic Surgery…CHEAP!” solely because the people who are looking for low cost plastic surgery feel that since they are having a hard time scraping together the money for their liposuction, I should offer up my years of (agonizing) experience, research, writing and editing to them on a silver platter gratis.

My defense is this…if the information I’ve discovered the hard way will save Stella $30,000 on her plastic surgery, she ought to happily cough up 20 or 30 bucks towards the facelift I’m going to be needing following the many hours I’ve spent absorbing radiation from my flat panel monitor and the extra butt lipo I need from the resultant ’secretary spread’.

Paying for information can save you hours and hours of precious time…time you could be spending with loved ones, watching TV, sleeping, sitting at the end of a bar swilling a cold brew or brewing up a batch of bathtub crystal meth. Whatever your preference. I’m not here to judge, just to remind you that internet research is time consuming, frustrating and often discouraging. How many times have you opened web site after web site you thought had the info you were looking for, only to find it’s got no relation to your topic of interest?

Nine times out of 10 you really do get what you pay for when it comes to paying for information…and if you don’t, it is much easier to get a refund on an ebook purchase than it is to trot back down to the Barnes and Noble and try to return the coffee-ringed, dogeared edition of Harry Potter and the Torture Chamber of Doom that you found a little too predictable. Capisce?

Yes, my son has a business plan...to earn money working with his dad for a few months, then take that money and invest it in some inflatable bounce houses (the kind you see at fairs and birthday parties). He'll set up on the beach and attract the kids from all of the vacationing families and become a millionaire.

Today, my son started his first day of work. He’ll be twelve in a few days. He asked his dad (who has his own business) if he could start working for him. I have to say, I’m impressed. Even though it is the height of summer, he lives at the beach and there are lots of pretty little girls around who adore him, he chose to get started on his “plan.”

Yes, my son has a business plan…to earn money working with his dad for a few months, then take that money and invest it in some inflatable bounce houses (the kind you see at fairs and birthday parties). He’ll set up on the beach and attract the kids from all of the vacationing families and become a millionaire.

I’m so happy that my kid sees opportunities, where others just sit around and wish there was “something to do.” I know that he has what it takes to be a success. I am fighting off all of those negative comments that I would have received from my own parents if I had proposed the same business plan to them when I was his age.

I grew up in an atmosphere of the “lack mentality”…disappointment and pessimism in regards to the entrepreneurial mindset. My father partnered with a drinking buddy in a contracting business, which needless to say went down in flames quickly. He let the entire experience do him in, and it took its toll on the entire family.

My grandparents had a successful restaurant, where I started working when I was about the age my son is now. But instead of encouraging me to become an entrepreneur myself, they groomed me into the ideal employee…it became very hard for me to see myself in a position of management, delegation and/or respect of any sort. I knew how to work very hard in hopes of getting a pat on the head, but not much else.

But I wasn’t encouraged to save money and invest it in my own business. I was trained to believe that starting and running a business was an endeavor that would eat up your life; that most businesses were miserable failures and that you could lose everything by trying to go out on your own, and it was best just to be a great employee, make your boss (i.e. grandparents) proud, and keep your nose to the proverbial grindstone. Spend your money on clothes and food and junk and just be a happy idiot.

I earned $2.80 per hour and all the tips I could smile hard-enough to coerce out of the purse-lipped old ladies, which amounted usually to the obligatory shiny silver quarter discreetly hidden under their lipstick soiled coffee cups. I did go to college, a 2-year tech school because I couldn’t afford much else. Apparently my self-concept as perpetual food service monkey was a strong theme with me even there. The other day I found a card from a friend with these reassuring words scribbled across it…”Don’t worry, JoAnn. You have what it takes to be more than just a waitress.”

It sounds harsh to say, but I was trained to be a life-long waitress. It took 10 years of Anthony Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, self-hypnosis and subliminal recordings to break free of that brainwashing. And as helpful as they’ve been, I don’t stop listening because that early influence is hard to kill and I feel I have to keep on top of those ghostly whispering voices from the past that tell me the cards are stacked against me, and success is for stronger, smarter and more capable people than myself.

I’m now living a life most people only dream of, and for that I am eternally grateful. I live on a beautiful Caribbean beach, my days are spent pretty much however I see fit according to the mood I’m in, I have a wonderful housekeeper who takes the burden of mundane tasks off my hands and I have a great family that I adore. The work I do now is more for my own need to feel like I’m making a contribution rather than with the intent of bringing home the bacon.

Stifling those negative voices isn’t the difficult chore it once was, but it is still a priority. Especially when I felt those discouraging words rise in my own throat as my child told me his master plan to become a millionaire by the time he is 17. Instead of letting them spew forth from my own mouth, making me a ventriloquist’s dummy controlled by people who had ulterior motives for undermining my confidence and independence, I quietly listened, then told him how proud I am of him and I know he will make it all happen.

So today I challenge you…if you are a parent, a teacher, or just a friend to someone who has big dreams (including yourself), strangle that little jerk who pops into your head and tries to speak with your tongue. You know the little jerk I’m talking about. The one who says “Nine out of 10 businesses fail.” Kick that guy in the teeth. Nobody wants to hear what he has to say, anyway.

Keyword Country – Reviewed Inside Out

It is rare that I opt to pay for a program if I can find something similar in quality for free. Having said that, I will tell you that I searched, and searched, and searched some more until my eyes were bloodshot, trying to find a free resource that even came close to what Keyword Country had to offer.

Needless to say, I just ended up wasting a lot of time and making myself very brainburnt in the process. When I finally broke out my wallet, I’m pleased to say that it was some of the best money I have spent! Keyword Country offers several subscription plans, so I chose the shortest (one week, I believe) and that choice was the only part of the purchase that I regretted…I felt a little penny-wise and pound-foolish when I saw what in important tool this is for any webmaster (or webmistress in my case).

Having Keyword Country’s features at my disposal made me feel like a genius…as if I had some kind of secret “internet insider” information. My Secret Weapon, if you will.

Using KeywordCountry for keyword research is just like searching on Google. Yes, you get the relevant keyword results right away with all the details that you need to be successful with AdSense! Just imagine Google suggesting keywords for your website! Well, this is what you will feel while searching keywords via Keyword Country.

This is not all! I strongly feel that Keyword Country seems to have discovered a way through which it can suggest keywords that attract traffic, get more clicks, and fetch you more EPC.

Keyword Country positions itself as a “Keyword Search Engine.” And quite obviously, I was more than curious to test whether or not the product stands up to what it commits. Here is what I found:

In fact, I have been keeping an eye on Keyword Country for quite some time now. I must say when Keyword Country started off, it was not so striking. But, their latest version seems to have done the trick!

Just type-in a keyword in KeywordCountry, and you have millions of relevant keywords within a few seconds, each with key details like:

Max CPC

Number of Advertisers

Number of Clicks per month

Estimated EPC

Number of competitors

KEI Analysis

R/S Ratio

Number of Searches (according to Overture)

Traffic on Google (estimated) …and much more!

Keyword Country is really user friendly. In fact, using it is as easy as walking down a smooth lane in the bright sunshine with both the eyes wide open. More importantly, what impressed me a lot is the way Keyword Country produces thousands of high paying keywords and niche keywords in the blink of an eye.

Keyword Country allows you to search for keywords in 3 different ways via Basic Search, Advanced Search, and Price Range Search. At the outset, I thought they are shuffling the same keywords in the three different searches. But no! The results are actually search specific, and enable you to choose the best keywords that suit your requirements. There is no cheating in their search results.

I was planning for an auto loan, so I tried the keyword – “loan,” I just typed the keyword in BASIC Search and I got 21,086 relevant keywords within a few seconds, each with key details like Max CPC, Number of Advertisers, Number of Clicks per month, Estimated EPC, Number of competitors, KEI Analysis, R/S Ratio, Number of Searches (according to Overture), and Traffic on Google.

I was really impressed by the relevancy of the keywords that I found. The results are so relevant that you can actually export the list and use it right away in your website without even filtering out any record. However, the results become a bit irrelevant as you dig deep into the list (just like in a search engine). But, I must say that the results seem to have been sorted by humans, and not by software. It is more like stealing the keyword research from a professional SEO.

Not just this, I had another option of choosing high paying keywords from 206 different sub-categories for the search term - Loan. I picked - Auto loan, and Keyword Country listed 1,257 keywords for the sub-category - Auto loan.
Price Range Searching is another remarkable feature Keyword country boasts. This search enables you to search for the keywords within a specific price range. One of the key advantages of this kind of a search is that it brings forth lots of low priced, hidden keywords that are really profitable. Besides, you can brainstorm new ideas for AdSense as well.

Above all things, it is the Advanced Searching option that makes Keyword Country a bit special. I think these guys have really thought hard! This time they have come up with a tool that allows you to do in-depth research for each keyword. Offering a variety of searching options just like Wild Cards of Google, Advanced Searching can sort results on the basis of Max CPC, Average CPC, Searches, Sponsors, or anything else you like.

After going through Keyword Country videos, Advanced Search starts making a lot of sense and you really get the hang of the powers of KC’s Advanced Search tool.

Sort the results by “Rating,” and KC will give you only profitable keywords. Sort the results by “Clicks per month,” and you will get the keywords that attract the most clicks for Google. Just integrate these keywords in your website, and you will increase the chances of getting more CTR. Furthermore, there are many more types of keywords that you can find out with Keyword Country. Just run through the Keyword Country videos for complete details.

Here are links to all the videos:

Finding high paying keywords

Finding Traffic attracting keywords

Finding High CTR keywords

Choosing better anchor text

User manual of KC

Besides, you can customize your search the way you want. Whether you type in a search query, or you search the keywords without typing in a search query – Keyword Country generates hordes of keywords spanning different industries. I won’t hesitate to say that I found such a tool after a long… long time! Well Done!

One of the most striking features of this software is “Blank Search.” Now, this is one feature that I have not seen anywhere else. Blank Search allows you to reach the most searched keywords on planet earth, most clicked keywords that exist, most high paying keywords, and most low competition high value keywords. Just leave the keyword field blank in Advanced Search, and Keyword Country will give you such amazing lists. This feature makes Keyword Country really outstanding. I can’t believe they are selling its access so cheap!

They claim to be a “Keyword Search Engine.” I believe they have already achieved what they claim. And they are still making it better and better day by day. I am sure they can make their product even more special.

Keyword Country’s the Good and the Bad

The Good

Debt Elimination. Debt Reduction. Debt Consolidation.

The above three phrases are among the most searched on the internet’s most popular search engines. Why is this? Because the Average American is in debt up to his or her respective eyeballs and clambering desperately for a way to get out.

This morning I discovered a great community web site, debtconsolidationcare.com that has helped over 82,000 people reduce or eliminate debt and finally “get out from under.” I was very impressed with what I saw. People asking questions, sharing their stories, and finding solutions to their money leak problems.

As young adults (especially college students) we are thrilled with our first shiny piece of plastic that opens a world of goodies to us that we otherwise couldn’t get our grubby little hands on…such as a pizza and a 12-pack of Meister Brau.

Before we know it, we’re out of school, jobless and need to find some way of paying back the thousands of dollars of credit card debt we’ve racked up on top of the student loans which are now coming due. This is a terrible way to enter adulthood, and unfortunately it has become the norm.

This bad credit card debt can follow us for decades if not paid off immediately. Paying only the minimum payments keeps that debt growing ad infinitum, like some modern day tragic Greek myth.

Luckily, in the age of information, we can share ideas, stories and techniques to get out from under unsecured debt, credit cards and student loans instead of stumbling around in the dark corners of shame and embarrassment for the financial mess we have gotten ourselves into.

Sites like debtconsolidationcare.com can help people of all ages and debt-to-income ratios avoid bankruptcy, consolidate debt and find repayment options that fit their individual needs. It is also a great source of moral support, as being in debt is often a lonely and embarrassing situation.

Debtconsolidationcare.com even goes as far as to offer members several ways to earn money by participating in various features of the community such as blogging, posting videos and posting to the forum, publishing articles about the site in local newspapers, recommending the site to others, recommending the site to others in need of credit card debt consolidation, consolidation loans or bankruptcy information, and also just for sharing your own story of getting into debt and/or getting out of debt.

I’m a pretty tough customer when it comes to recommending web sites. I’ve seen too many that disguise themselves as community oriented when in truth they are just a doorway to collecting customers for their own for-profit venture.

This debt consolidation site has a lot to offer and obviously goes above and beyond in trying to honestly help people consolidate debt and eliminate their unsecured loans and facilitate repayment of credit card debt.

So as we watch our parents and older siblings redefine retirement for themselves (or ultimately abolish it completely), we Gen-Xer's seem somewhere in the middle...we want to retire NOW, yet we also strive to be "successful" (whatever that means).

I remember a conversation I had with my uncle a few years ago. He is a high-powered VP at a major US corporation who worked his way up from a stockboy at age 17 through all the ranks of the retail world to make it where he is today…extremely successful, maybe over-worked but definitely well-compensated. I’m sure he’s a millionaire a few times over, but I’d never ask, of course.

He was and is full of insight and inspiration to me, but one thing he told me during this particular conversation really opened my Gen-X eyes to the mindset of the rich. We got on the subject of retirement, and he being just a decade away from “retirement-age” at the time, said “I’ll never be able to retire. When I’m 80, I’ll be the cartboy in the Wal-Mart parking lot!”

We laughed at the thought of him trading in his $800.00 Brooks Bros. suits for a blue and white smock, but I knew it was true. Baby boomers can’t retire. Now, of course, in my uncle’s case it was not a matter of having to keep working to survive. He has more than enough to see himself, and maybe his children, through retirement. But the mentality of retirement seems to have eluded the baby boom generation.

The Boomers grew up with the post-WWII work ethic deeply ingrained in their collective psyche. Many (if not most) baby boomers have come to think of retirement as the short pre-cursor to certain death. It’s as though they’ve come to equate life with work, deriving self-worth from corporate productivity.

They’ve watched their own parents retire and then plunge swiftly into despair, bitterness, poverty, (prescription) drug addiction and declining health until they became a burden on their families, society and each other.

Of course, there are far too many cases of Baby Boomers not being able to stop working for financial reasons. Few have the financial nest egg built up to assure a safe and comfortable retirement. Outrageous health care costs coupled with the rising cost of living make it impossible for most to quit working altogether. As well, several “studies” have publicly declared that older people who keep at least a part-time job live longer, healthier and happier lives.

These studies rarely go any deeper than this…meaning few examine the fact that the Baby Boom generation has invested so much of their own “essence” into their working lives that they have lost the ability to enjoy the other facets of life for any prolonged period of time.

After all, they had the sixties. They did fun, love, art and music to the point where it quite literally killed some of the brightest minds of their generation. Perhaps it was a matter of being “scared successful.”

So as we watch our parents and older siblings redefine retirement for themselves (or ultimately abolish it completely), we Gen-Xer’s seem somewhere in the middle…we want to retire NOW, yet we also strive to be “successful” (whatever that means).

Growing up in the ’80’s, we were mindbent by the images of Wall Street raiders, big shouldered broads climbing the corporate ranks, and Ronald Reagan with his perpetually jet black pompadour preaching of American superiority.

Enter the ’90’s…age of grunge slackers and overnight internet millionaires. Then we watched as our musicians who told us to rage against the machine showed us around thier multi-million dollar cribs on MTV. We’re now a bunch of confused 30-somethings riding the fence between here and there.

We don’t like work but we want to be rich.

We love life, love having fun, can easily lay in the sun all day without feeling the least bit guilty.

We are desperately searching for ways to keep the money flowing in while we are out kiteboarding or getting our toenails painted.

Boomers think we’re lazy and unrealistic.

We think Boomers are slaves to the global corporate meat-grinder (think Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”).

So, what’s really working, anyway? Many of us think we aren’t working as we write blogs, push affiliate programs through email advertising and join the latest social networking site or YouTube knockoff to gain exposure for one of our ebooks we’ve written. But I dare say, we’re actually working longer hours than our Baby Boomer counterparts, even though we think we’re just “surfing” or messing around on the internet.

So, ask your best Gen-X friend if he would quit the internet if he was suddenly able to “retire” with all the money he’d ever need and you’d probably hear a “No way, man! Then what would I do with all my time?” Sounds suspiciously like the answer you get from a Baby Boomer when you ask them if they plan to quit working when they “retire.”

Last night, I was listening to my MP3 player populated with my favorite subliminal, self-hypnosis and success mastery recordings, as I do every night. I do this because I believe passionately in the need to make the most of every minute…even those spent in REM sleep.

I started this habit several years ago during a period of situational depression, and it helped me so much out of that frame of mind that I decided to make it part of my lifestyle. Feeding my sleeping brain this way has improved my life in every facet, and I highly recommend it as a means of counterbalancing all of the negativity and ugliness we are all bombarded with through our encounters with dreadful people with bad attitudes and all of the terrible media stories we are exposed to…including stories of poverty, lack, famine and war.

Now, don’t write me off as a cold and self-involved person. On the contrary, I am an empath (i.e. I feel your pain) and over the years I have had to learn how to protect my own emotional state from negative influences and energy vampires.

Well, upon easing into semi-consciousness while listening to Brian Tracy reading “The Science of Getting Rich” I was struck by the intensity of the chapter on “avoiding poverty.” Our whole lives we are taught the virtues of being charitable and pitying the world’s poor.

The truth that “The Science of Getting Rich” conveys in a very matter-of-fact way is that the best thing that you can do for the poor is to become rich yourself, and impart your wisdom on to those less fortunate. While this idea is nothing new, i.e. give a man a fish, feed him for a day…yadda, yadda, yadda, author Wallace Wattles went on to say that you should not pollute your mind with images of poverty, nor should you speak of your own past struggles with lack of money or impoverished beginnings.

This one is a tough one. After all, most of us use our meager beginnings as proof that we “deserve” the good life once we start to live it. We humans tend to recount our own stories of heartache and financial hardships to others as some way of leveling ourselves with the lowest common denominator. Exactly the OPPOSITE of what we should do, especially if we desire to get rich (which anybody in their right mind wants, whether we are willing to publicly admit it or not).

Wattles says the best thing you can do is not to climb back down the ladder to prove to the poor that you are just like them, but instead to live your life in such a way as to inspire them to do what it takes to climb that ladder and join you on your plateau of plenty. There is always a way to better one’s self in this world and each individual is responsible to make every effort to become rich, productive and beneficial to society as a whole.

So, turn off the news and stop telling the story of when you lived in your Toyota Corolla that summer after college. Silently vow to yourself that those days are gone, never to return, and start a new business or balance your checkbook. Treat poverty like the disease of the mind that it is and avoid it like the bubonic plague.

Stop thinking that you have to surround yourself with people who are on a lower vibrational (and financial) plane than you, just so that they think you are a good, nice person.

If you aspire in a decent, law-abiding, and creative way to improve your own bank account, real estate holdings and family life, then you are a good person and you don’t have to prove it to anyone by giving away your hard-earned money. Instead, do something to fire up the ambition of someone who has fallen victim to poverty-itis…even if it is only to go out for a drive in your BMW, or write a blog post about stomping out poverty by simply being unwilling to accept it in your lifestyle.

I live in a country (the Dominican Republic) whose government sadly has publicly declared it “A Poor Country.” I have seen people accept a lifestyle of lack, simply because they were born into this “poor country.” Many do not raise their standard of living based on the assumption that it is “too hard to get ahead for the average Dominican.

I have also met people here who grew up in shacks with dirt floors who hitch-hiked 60 miles a day each way to go to college, get a degree in law or medicine and become very well off. Those people will all agree that living in that dirt-floor shack for 60 or 70 years seemed much harder than a few years of hitch-hiking and studying, and subsequently living a life of comfort, stability and luxury.

When you drive through areas populated with those who have bought into the poverty mindset, you will notice the filth…empty styrofoam restaurant containers, beer bottles, and empty plastic grocery bags strewn everywhere. And you see this pattern everywhere in the world, including of course the good ole US of A. As we know, it costs nothing gather up all that garbage and stuff it in one of those plastic grocery bags and put it out to the curb for garbage pick-up.

If you were to ask the people who live under these conditions why their yards are full of garbage, they would undoubtedly tell you that it is because they are so poor. But it is more accurate to say that they are poor because they are willing to live under such conditions!

Does that seem cold? Let them eat cake?

Maybe, as I know each person’s circumstances are unique, and we all have our own obstacles to overcome. But when there is always money for beer and time for playing Dominoes or watching TV, yet not enough money to pay the electric bill or time to pick up the garbage in the front yard…it is difficult to say that I am completely wrong.

There is one truth that cannot be argued with…the Rich care about making things better for themselves and for the world, and they strive daily, if not hourly, towards that goal. And through their efforts, ideals and goals they create jobs, support the economy and help others to improve their own lives.

So the next time you feel angry or jealous of Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, Michael Dell or some other billionaire…take a moment to think of the number of lives that have been improved by the efforts of these men and the others like them who have amassed great wealth because they operate from a mindset of limitless abundance.

They didn’t fold when the newspapers say times are hard, the economy is slumping, or the proverbial “bubble” has burst. They keep their faith, adjust their sails and catch the winds of change. That is why the rich get richer while the poor get poorer. They find out how to profit no matter what, rather than crying about how bad things are, how tough it is and how there just isn’t enough to go around anymore.

To deny that “God” or the “Universe” has provided an abundance for all should be seen as blasphemy, don’t you think? I believe it was John Wayne who said, “I’ve been rich and I’ve been poor.

Collecting Coins - A Worthwhile and Educational Hobby

There are many reasons why one collects coins. There are collectors who collect on the basis of the coin’s future perceived value, some collect coins coming from just one particular period, some on metal type and some for a coins historical value.

There are also those who enjoy collecting everyday common coins, gaining pleasure from inspecting mint marks and dates on their everyday change. Others have a collection of coins coming from different countries. Some coin collectors spend thousands on rare gold and silver coins from the period of the 1800’s until the early 1900’s.

The hobby of coin collecting can give pleasure and fun to an individual of any age. Many coin collectors began their collection when they were young children, collecting dimes or pennies and many of them have made coin collection a lifetime hobby.

The hobby of collecting coins involves spending money from the very start so it is good to join a coin collectors group to get ideas and help from knowledgeable and experienced collectors.

You need somebody to buy your coins from, and it may be hard to find a coin dealer of good repute when your are new to the hobby, so having someone that has been in this hobby for years can be of great help to guide you on choosing an honest and knowledgeable coin dealer.

Begin by acquiring a big magnifying glass and examine coins in a bright area so you can spot mintmarks, errors and to clearly read dates on worn or damaged coins.

Decide on what coins to collect and buy a “bookshelf folder” for that series.

You must also have storage, such as clear tubes made of plastic or coin tubes having top screws to keep your coins in until you are ready to put them in a coin album; storage can also be good for keeping duplicate coins.

You must learn about different coin values. Follow what types of coins are sold, and how they are priced, based on dealer pricing. You also will need someone or some references that will show you how to evaluate the accurate value of a certain coin based on mint mark, age, color, surface and condition.

“A Guide Book of United States Coins” or universally known as “the red book”, which is published yearly, provides a good outline of the U.S. coins history, information on basic coin grading, coin descriptions from past to present including a list of errors to watch for, average U.S. coins retail cost, and an explanation of errors which occurred in the “minting process”.

Monthly publications from “Coinage” (coin collecting magazine) contain many useful facts and information as well articles about your new found hobby plus a lot of great photos.

The newspaper, particularly in the numismatic world section, will be of great interest to you especially when you become more and more involved and interested in your hobby and want to remain up to date with the present happenings in the world of numismatics.

As you grow more experienced in coin collecting, your “eye for coins” will improve and develop maturely so that you now will be scrutinizing more carefully the features and details such as coin lettering, making certain that the letters are not blemished or blurred, but are still distinguishable.

You will be spending so much interest and concentration on the coin’s general state that eventually you can walk away from certain coins that show evidence of abrasion, and will then be experiencing the fun side of coin collecting.

Spend ample time reading, looking at photos, learning from experienced collectors and asking as many questions as needed from not only other collectors, but dealers as well. The hobby of coin collecting is a continuing process that will last for as long as you are continuing the hobby.

Your knowledge and training will save you a lot of money as well as make you money when the time comes, but more importantly, have fun while learning. Take pleasure in what they call the “Hobby of kings” that has turned to be the “King”of hobbies.

Keep on studying and learning, because the better you understand, the more that you will enjoy your new found hobby.

It’s not true that everything that has been said has
already been written. Since that unfortunate axiom
came into use, the whole universe has changed.
Technology has changed, ideas have changed, and the
mindsets of entire nations have changed.

The fact is that this is the perfect time to write an
ebook. What the publishing industry needs are people
who can tap into the world as it is today - innovative
thinkers who can make the leap into the new millennium
and figure out how to solve old problems in a new way.
Ebooks are a new and powerful tool for original
thinkers with fresh ideas to disseminate information
to the millions of people who are struggling to figure
out how to do a plethora of different things.

Let’s say you already have a brilliant idea, and the
knowledge to back it up that will enable you to write
an exceptional ebook. You may be sitting at your
computer staring at a blank screen wondering, “Why?
Why should I go through all the trouble of writing my
ebook when it’s so impossible to get anything
published these days?

Well, let me assure you that publishing an ebook is
entirely different than publishing a book in print.
Let’s look at the specifics of how the print and cyber
publishing industry differ, and the many reasons why
you should take the plunge and get your fingers
tapping across those keyboards!

Submitting a print book to conventional publishing
houses or to agents is similar to wearing a hair shirt
24/7. No matter how good your book actually is, or how
many critique services and mentor writers have told
you that “you’ve got what it takes,” your submitted
manuscript keeps coming back to you as if it is a
boomerang instead of a valuable mine of information.

Perhaps, in desperation, you’ve checked out
self-publishing and found out just how expensive a
venture it can be. Most “vanity presses” require
minimal print runs of at least 500 copies, and even
that amount will cost you thousands of dollars. Some
presses’ minimal run starts at 1,000 to 2,000 copies.
And that’s just for the printing and binding. Add in
distribution, shipping, and promotional costs and -
well, you do the math. Even if you wanted to go this
route, you may not have that kind of money to risk.

Let’s say you already have an Internet business with a
quality website and a quality product. An ebook is one
of the most powerful ways to promote your business
while educating people with the knowledge you already
possess as a business owner of a specific product or
service.

For example, let’s say that you’ve spent the last
twenty-five years growing and training bonsai trees,
and now you’re ready to share your knowledge and
experience. An ebook is the perfect way to reach the
largest audience of bonsai enthusiasts.

Ebooks will not only promote your business - they will
help you make a name for yourself and your company,
and establish you as an expert in your field. You may
even find that you have enough to say to warrant a
series of ebooks. Specific businesses are complicated
and often require the different aspects to be divided
in order for the reader to get the full story.

Perhaps your goals are more finely tuned in terms of
the ebook scene. You may want to build a whole
business around writing and publishing ebooks.
Essentially, you want to start an e-business. You are
thinking of setting up a website to promote and market
your ebooks. Maybe you’re even thinking of producing
an ezine.

One of the most prevalent reasons people read ebooks
is to find information about how to turn their
Internet businesses into a profit-making machine. And
these people are looking to the writers of ebooks to
provide them with new ideas and strategies because
writers of ebooks are usually people who understand
the new cyberspace world we now live in. Ebook writers
are experts in Internet marketing campaigns and the
strategies of promoting and distributing ebooks. The
cyberspace community needs its ebooks to be successful
so that more and more ebooks will be written.

You may want to create affiliate programs that will
also market your ebook. Affiliates can be people or
businesses worldwide that will all be working to sell
your ebooks. Think about this? Do you see a formula
for success here?

Figure out what your subject matter is, and then
narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity.
Research what’s out there already, and try to find a
void that your ebook might fill.

What about an ebook about a wedding cake business? Or
an ebook about caring for elderly pets? How about the
fine points of collecting ancient pottery?

You don’t have to have three masters degrees to write
about your subject. People need advice that is easy to
read and easily understood. Parents need advice for
dealing with their teenagers. College students need to
learn good study skills - quickly. The possibilities
are endless.

After you’ve writtten your ebook

Getting your ebook out is going to be your focus once
you’ve finished writing it, just as it is with print
books. People will hesitate to buy any book from an
author they’ve never heard of. Wouldn’t you?

The answer is simple: give it away! You will see
profits in the form of promoting your own business and
getting your name out. You will find affiliates who
will ask you to place their links within your ebook,
and these affiliates will in turn go out and make your
name known. Almost every single famous ebook author
has started out this way.

Another powerful tool to attract people to your ebook
is to make it interactive. Invent something for them
to do within the book rather than just producing pages
that contain static text. Let your readers fill out
questionnaires, forms, even crossword puzzles geared
to testing their knowledge on a particular subject.
Have your readers hit a link that will allow them to
recommend your book to their friends and associates.
Or include an actual order form so at the end of their
reading journey, they can eagerly buy your product.

When people interact with books, they become a part of
the world of that book. The fact is just as true for
books in print as it is for ebooks.

That’s why ebooks are so essential. Not only do they
provide a forum for people to learn and make sense of
their own thoughts, but they can also serve to promote
your business at the same time.
