This is our first audio episode and others are soon to follow. Suzanne Eckes is an assistant professor in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Department at Indiana University. She earned a master's in education from Harvard University and both her Ph.D. and J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the faculty at Indiana University, she was both a public school teacher and an attorney. She has published over fifty articles on school law. She is currently a co-editor of the Principal's Legal Handbook and co-author of the recent monograph Sexual Orientation, Public Schools, and the Law.
