Late last month, I brought you the first word about the partnership between Boom Studios and Fox Atomic that would produce several ongoing and limited series comics based on Fox Atomic film properties. Well, the first title to come out of the partnership was announced during this weekend’s Emerald City ComiCon, and will return to the world of the “28 Days Later” film franchise.

According to the official announcement regarding the series, the “28 Days Later” comic’s first story arc will focus on Naomie Harris’ character from the first film, Selena, and bridge the gap between that film and its sequel, “28 Weeks Later.” The series will be “firmly based in ‘28 Days Later’ continuity” and should hit shelves in July. After the jump, I’ve posted a pair of cover images from the first issue, as well as a few more details about the series.

In their “28 Days Later” announcement, Boom and Fox Atomic also offered up some hints about the specific plot points the series’ initial arc will explore: “… A few key questions will be answered along the way: what happened to Selena after ‘28 Days Later? How did Selena happen upon the machete she wields in ‘28 Days Later’?”

This is the Gold Statue available from Club Nintendo. This has never been opened.

Only 3800 of these statues exist, I do not know the number as i have never opened the box. I can only assure you this is in perfect order - if you want to see tape on the box, i can take a photo for you.

I’ve used a photo from Google because it’s still in the box. This is in 100% top condition! These statues will become ULTRA RARE very soon.

I’m based in London, but don’t let that deter overseas collectors.

Xbox 360 users will see these same gameplay changes in an update coming out with the DLC — which, in case you missed the announcement, will be coming out April 21st. Click for more..

As we continue to work on Left 4 Dead, our plan is to release more frequently on the PC, and then group those updates for the 360.

With the upcoming release of the SDK, and the community servers already available on the PC, matchmaking is one place where the two platforms will diverge. A future blog post will detail our roadmap for PC matchmaking.

Game statistics help us evaluate the success of the changes we’ve made to the game. In Versus, for example, we flipped the order in which teams play the next round based on who was winning the round before it. We were confident this would help to better balance the game and give neither team a lasting advantage. That would, in turn, translate into more people playing through the final maps. Since making that change, we’ve noticed the percentage of games being played to the end jump 5%. It is a small increase, but a step in the right direction.

But statistics are only part of the picture. We also use direct feedback from players themselves. One of the questions people ask is if we read the forums: the answer is yes. So please post your feedback on the melee and other changes as we make them. We promise to keep listening to your feedback, making changes and improving the gameplay experience of Left 4 Dead. Remember: If you don’t see an issue addressed with this update, that doesn’t mean it isn’t coming.

About the Game
Burn Zombie Burn! is set across six classic American-horror movie inspired levels. A top-down, arena-based third-person shoot ‘em-up in the classic coin-op tradition will contain all new mechanics.

The goal is simple: to get the highest score possible. Your hero is Bruce - an average every-day Joe who was looking forward to spending some ‘quality time’ with his girlfriend Daisy when their Saturday night is interrupted by a zombie invasion. Standing in your way is a never ending horde of undead. To survive you must shoot, burn and explode as many zombies as possible before they overwhelm you.
