I had to drive to Crawley (the city that Gatwick Airport is in) this evening and so today’s shot is of the mirrors in my htoel’s loo.  I’ve got a pretty nice 8MP camera on my Android phone (the brilliant Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc), but rarely ever use it.  I also brought my Canon Powershot S95 with me, but after taking a number of shots with it, my laptop didn’t want to recognise the SD card and seeing as how I left my camera’s data cable at home, I figured I’d give my Android a test whirl so that I could post today.

The photo below was taken with the Android app “Vignette”, using the Instant Square format with a monochrome filter.  I could have touched it up in Photoshop, but decided against it, to let the photo stand on its own merits.  Not too sure about the subject matter, but it was the best I could come up with tonight.

I’ll be staying at this hotel for the next three nights, so there will be plenty more opportunities to test out this mobile camera.
