Lossing the War before we Start

With al Qaeda beating at the back door of the Yemenis government, the head honcho is rearing to get into the fray with the local pit bull. Sure the Yemen armed forces killed a senior leader of al Qaeda's seemingly endless supply of expendables. Sure the country has called upon its citizens to help suppress support for the global terror network. But can this little army really defeat the long arm of Osama as it reaches for yet another flimsy regime to topple?

My guess, no.

With separatist in the south pushing for open civil war, can the Yemen army win in a two front war?

Most certainly not.

Yet this is the real kicker... if any foreign military or advisers are on the field helping Yemen... al Qaeda takes the gloves off. And when Osama's boys start fighting they really start fighting. Take the fall of organized government in Afghanistan for example. The Taliban used Osama's methods and it won the war to take over all of Afghanistan. The remnants of the Taliban are currently fighting the organized government in Pakistan... using Osama's methods of guerrilla warfare... they are holding steady in a war in which they are out classed and out gunned.

Slowly we here in the United States are beginning to see that the battle for Afghanistan and the war in Iraq are not the only two fronts in the War on Terror. Every chance al Qaeda gets they will open up a new front. This is what one might call the "death of a thousand cuts".

Now this is not to say that we will soon be faced with a new war in a new country. Nah, Obama might just allow this fragile country to finally drift into oblivion. After all, this was to be the presidente to get us out of Iraq and end the war in Afghanistan. So why go and send our boys into yet another battle in another far flung corner of the Middle East?

One word, "security".

However, Democrats are not very strong on national security. In fact, they aren't really that strong on anything.

So we will sit back and watch as the Yemenis people suffer through a prolonged death as their country gets beat down by the neighborhood bully. After all, its not our fight... yet.

HP makes first "Racist" computers ever...

True Story-

Hewlett-Packard's media smart computers are said to be incapable of facial recognition when it comes to dark-skinned individuals. So like in "Better Off Ted", HP seems to need to hire white (or lighter skinned race) individuals to follow around the dark skinned individuals. Thusly needing to hire another dark skinned individual to make it not racism on HP's behalf for only being able to hire a light skinned individual to shadow the darker skinned one.

You can see how this sorta issue can become hard to sort out in a comedy television show. Yet it is very, very, very funny in the real world.

We can all thank the YouTube user Desi for his video in which he supposedly demonstrates this computer racism. And we need to thank him for making it just so freak'n comical in doing this video with his white coworker.

However you can also find many more videos on YouTube showing the webcam following the dark skinned user's face just like it was built to do.

It was a short while back that I happened to stumble upon a man I thought might be wise enough to put an intelligible argument together. Yet after hearing his perspective on everything from "global warming" to Obama it took me only a moment to realize he was just another liberal washout. Spewing forth the hysterical views of the Left most people like this one rewrite history to what the Left has dictated on the nightly news.

Thusly it should be obvious to all those that read this that history is only what they tell you. Never again will your children read in class about the bravery of young men who fought against tyranny but of the lost innocence of the those men who raised their riffles against Germany, Japan, and Italy. Nor will they hear about how the Civil War was fought over the invasion of the South by Northern troops wishing to force the ideals of Republicans in Washington (not to say that slavery should have been left in place, I above all others around me wish for all forms of slavery to be abolished) but rather they will be told of Lincoln's war to free the blacks (which was actually an afterthought and a result of the war's brutality and not the catalyst of the war itself).

Young men did exactly what they were commanded to do. They served honorably for a country that never promised to remember what they had accomplished and for what reason they were to die. Some may have gone to war for adventure, others for patriotism, but for what ever reason they went... all sacrificed something. However as our 'Uncle Tom' would point out... they all volunteered. Thusly, unlike the Russians, our boys did what they had to without being forced to fight.

No matter the desire to quite our boys continued through the depths of "hell" in dogged pursuit of victory, for the conquest of morality. Therefore we cannot justify this sloth like behavior that has fallen over so many conservatives since the defeat we suffered in 2008. 'Uncle Tom' will attempt just as the old white men that came before him did. In the next three years he may actually come close to destroying the freedoms we were raised in. But the history of this nation and the trials through which we have come will never be erased so easily. For wherever this enemy goes we shall follow.

The arguments you make should strike a nerve in the enemy. They should "electrify" the enemy with emotion. For it is emotion that makes memories stick. It is emotion that makes one stumble when they attempt to pursue an argument they cannot win. In the words of Ulysses S. Grant, "There has never been a time when, in my opinion, some way could not be found to prevent the drawling of the sword." In other words, a constructive argument prevents the need of your opponent to retaliate. You need to make your point without making it personal (I know, just told you to strike a nerve without making the opponent strike back). This is only achieved when you exercise patience and politeness.

If we do not learn from history than we are damned to repeat it. We have faced this foe several times in the past. Each time we have watched the Left make the same mistakes over and over. So now all we need to do is make attack after attack as the Left makes mistake after mistake. Every time they overreach, every time they violate the Constitution, we must move on their position. One mind of mush after the next, we can unite their minions against them. All we need to do is out debate the masters of feeble arguments.

At the present we have no need to spill our own countrymens' blood, but we cannot let them use the blood of our soldiers to rewrite our nation's history. Now they use these current wars to conjure images of failure in achieving victory over a cause not our own (Vietnamese freedom and the fate of their nation). And along with this casualty of falsified fact, our nation's young men fight and die as the Rats in Washington fill the pages of our children's history books with the propaganda of socialism and their science books with the "facts" of "global warming".

It seems to me that this war for the hearts and minds is all but over as the left waits for the Health Care bill to pass. They know that the ill gotten presidency is nothing to joke about... hence the lack there of in the nightly shows. They know that the stranglehold on your wallet is nothing to relent. They know that your fears and your panic is nothing to let pass them by.

Listen to the stormtroopers and you'll hear the Nazi tone in everyone of Os... Obama's speeches. Look to the east and you'll see the parade grounds filled with their jack-boots as the peace prize gets lifted like a banner in the air above. War is hell... and this current foe still has that to pay.

Watch the press and you will see that the left is trying to escalate. Watch how they pander for the worst of men. Watch how they bait the cook-fringe of both sides. Pinning brother against brother the media attempts to repeat history at this most pivotal moment in time. Black against white... democrat against republican... conservative against liberal... Jew against Muslim... catholic against christian. They have no problem finding reasons. Chaos is the name of the game for the state run media. Control. The upper hand in this war is, as in most, the concept of control. This is an enemy that needs to be the one choosing the ground upon which they fight. Thusly they instantly gain the height ground. Just think of the last time you saw a Democrat apologize when accused by their opponent. It doesn't happen... instead they claim to have been unjustly accused or being attacked for no apparent reason. Even when it is clear to everyone else... the enemy tries to reshape the battlefield in their favor... more so than any other.

Barry White's Big Bang

Going for Bust

Once again we can only set back and watch as the next too most incompetent man to have ever taken office goes on another vacation. Now like most Americans I myself can only take vacation once I have built up enough hours with the company that employs me. As for Barry White, he gets to take vacation whenever he pleases… especially if that will take some heat off his ever-growing Health Care problem.

It is a sad thing really when a bumbling idiot takes the reigns of something so important as I don’t know… government. What is even sadder is when this idiot has to take two vacations in his first year of presidency because his “loving” constituents drive up his blood pressure. And as I recall, President George W. Bush didn’t take two vacations in his first term of office. But ya, lets keep living up to that “change” bit… how “hope” is just around the corner.

As for Barry White’s current standings with the “loving”, “adoring”, “shock and awe” stricken citizens of this country… just take a look at the Politico. Even they are starting to show a crack in his façade. All be it they really just want to make it look like Barry Obama is overcoming some perceivably tremendous obstacles (I would say the will of a nation would be a tremendous obstacle). The Politico has however shown that Obama’s “Big Bang” is “going for bust”. In other words… the peasants are starting to get out the pitchforks.

But what on earth could have ever made the feeble minded followers of this brilliant, somewhat delicate, genius so upset…

Ø Cash for Clunkers (tax financed bailout)

Ø Stimulus after Stimulus (tax financed bailouts)

Ø Health Care Reform shoved down our throats like were French geese (tax financed none the less)

Ø Cap and Trade (which will effect your taxes once again)

Ø No Special Interest (only government interest)

Ø No Pay raises for the Whitehouse (because they still haven’t done anything to earn it)

Ø Obama’s God Complex

Ø Apologizing to our enemies (like Iran and France)

Ø Bowing down before foreign kings

Ø Cash for Refrigerators (the latest tax funded bailout… another sign that they just aren’t going to stop coming up with new ways to raid your wallet)

Ø The Vice-President

Just a short list of reasons most of us don’t seem to be in such a state of amusement as the liberals would like us to be. Actually, most of us in the real world… not the ones trying to fit in with the establishment, don’t seem to like Obama anymore than we did when he took office. Hence the bumper stickers and t-shirts… “O-crap”… and that is a nicer one.

So how do we stop this onslaught of fascism (or at least slow it down)? Well for a historical reference, we snipe. In World War Two the Germans decided that holding every last block of every last town, village, or city was just not worth the massive effort. So they cut corners (and lost the war too but that isn’t the point). By placing snipers in every last nook and cranny from the hedgerows to the last tower in Berlin, Germany slowed the decay of their Nazi Reich (you would think I would have chosen a better comparison… but the opposing party views us as croats anyway). Thusly how you stop a political adversary.

At every “town meeting” we need to attack the enemy with their own logic. By forcing the other side to show itself for what it is we can make at very least a nuisance of ourselves. And with some luck we might even be able to sway public opinion the same way the other side did against President George W. Bush. But we have to be ever vigilant in our efforts to pinpoint the weakest links. Working our way up the chain of command till Obama has nobody left to fall upon (note that is actually a reference to the Romans).

At the end of this month some of my own congressmen will be holding meetings dealing with Obama’s Health Care issue. I myself will attend with full knowledge of what is in this bill (hopefully my congressmen will too). And by all means I intend to make my congressmen pay with their votes for their continued support of a bill their constituents do not favor. Because next year these very men have elections to face. And thusly why we need to snipe at the liberal’s brown shirts right now. Because if the Whitehouse looses too many of its weaker links next year… well folks the SA is going to be dispatched and the SS will take over were its rival failed. Then we will see what Obama really meant by “hope”.

Erecting the Guillotine

When an infant falls down he usually won’t cry unless his mother or some other perceivably compassionate figure is around to see the incident. Without a witness the very act of crying is usually subdued due to the obscure fact that nobody is around to hear it. Thusly the child will either go about his day without incident or he/she will seek out a witness. Americans are seeking out a witness the best way they know how when it comes to health care reform. Yet the “mother” in this case is apparently more incompetent than Brittany Spears.

Now I highly doubt that there are gun-toting Americans just wandering the back streets with signs reading “Death to Obama”. But then again I highly doubted that Obama would steal an election as boldly as he did. Yet here we have the good old boys at the AP jimmying up photos of solitary men holding up signs that read “Time to water the tree of Liberty” and yet telling us the sign reads “Death to Obama”. Note that the picture just doesn’t seem to be matching what the AP thinks they see.

On the other hand I myself wouldn’t shed a tear if Obama were to die tomorrow. And I very much doubt that “all of America” would mourn his demise. But at no point am I stupid enough to tote a gun and a sign that says the same thing. It just doesn’t make much sense. However, I do believe we should be telling the Whitehouse that it is time to listen up. No longer can Michelle my bell tell America to just “eat cake” if we don’t like Barrack’s marching orders.

That is why I too agree with most of what the conservatives have to say. The anger that is now rising from every crack in this great nation’s tarnished patina is somewhat unprecedented. Very few times in our past have so many from such different walks of life felt such outrage with just one person… Barrack Hussein Obama. And why you might ask? He seems to be the only one amongst the feds too cowardice to come out and face the people.

Sure, sure… you might say that he is only looking after number one. And why not? I mean here on this sight you all have seen the calls for “heads to roll”. And I myself would very much enjoy pulling the rope and dropping the blade when it comes to the people I voted for. But Barrack Obama has one thing all those others don’t… a God complex. Hence the desire to control your health.

"We have got to make sure that the symbol of the swastika does not win, that the racial hatred that's bubbling up does not win this debate," Scott said. "That's what is bubbling up with all of this. There's so much hatred out there for President Obama."

And as Congressmen David Scott points out… your opinion just isn’t going to matter in this debate. The race card is back on the table. So clearly the only way to win over racism here is appeasement. “Peace in our time” some might say as they bend over and let the liberals win another one for the books. I on the other hand… “attack, attack, attack”.

Protesting this Reich’s push toward authoritarian rule must be louder than ever. The voice we use must be as cruel as anything they dealt out for the last eight years. At no point shall we give ground to these talking heads. For if you have a thousand men or only two, there is always a way to attack. And as for now let the warning be this and only this… “those who block the road to peaceful revolution only open the path to violent revolt” (you’ll have to forgive me… I never was one for quoting JFK).

Let us remeber too... anger has only one reasonable outlet. And the longer we are forced to bottle it up, the worse it is going to be.

Nazism on the Rise

The good old days when the bad guys looked different, talked different, and even seemed to smell different are long gone. Sour-croat and german beer used to fill the air when the nazis came to town (that and the scent of death). Men in tall black boots and gray uniforms were preceded only by the banner of blood they hoisted overhead. The sounds of shouting and gunfire filled the air over Warsaw. But now days we just watch the crowd of cheering whites hoisting up their token black man. The smell of lysol and cheap hand sanitizer follow as their rancid (unbleached) napkins shuffle about their sandal clad dirty feet. But they still sound the same.

When the Nazis took over in Berlin they spread a fear like Germany had not known since the collapse of their army in world war one. Their target is now crystal clear in hindsight, yet when Hitler came up through the ranks nobody knew just what his message really meant. Even as they cheered their new master on nobody seemed to question what he was saying. As liberty was stripped away layer by layer, not a singer Berliner thought to stop and think about Hitler's message. Even as the party that had "saved" Germany and the Germans began to pit the classes against one another, not a soul seemed brave enough to fight the government machine. That was until the underground became solidified in its goal and mission.

With Obama we the people are already divided. But this time we are not being separated by race or even religion. Obama's supporters are on one side and those who don't agree with the new dictator are on the other. Those who are indifferent or ignorant usually fall in the middle unaware or unconcerned with what is going on. This is a battle over theology and political principals. This war will be one of words, or at least we all "hope" and pray. And in the end we will see which ideologues will prevail.

As for now we have the Battle of Health Care laid out before us. The field of choice seems to be the floors of Congress. Each of our public servants has already picked sides. Most too cowardice to side with the people they are supposed to be serving. Yet a select few have decided to rise to the occasion and fight the establishment with the rest of us. And it is this select few that we will see either glorified in the midterm elections or cast out like the dogs Obama thinks they are.

As for the battle itself, the field is already running with blood. Both sides are exchanging blows as the people's army snipes at its strongest opponents. And yet even now, as "town hall meetings" are held across the country, not a single one of our generals feels brave enough to take on the commanding officer of the other side. As supporters fall through the cracks, our side continues grind down the lower ranks of Socialism. Yet what we need now is a direct assault on the head of the serpent itself.

So today, I the Grand Fubba (Ph-oo-ba), ask of everyone who reads this... attack. Go to every public meeting the enemy presents us with and raise your voice just as loud as they do and have. Challenge the Congress with all the facts about this bill. Make them answer and let the press hear their lies. We must draw this opponent out into the light and expose it for what it is... Socialism. We must give Obama's forces a charge as grand as D-day itself. Give no quarter to those who oppose us and expect none in return. For in the words of General Stonewall Jackson, "we will give them the bayonet"

No Quarter

It is with a certain sense of disillusionment that I write to inform the remaining members and readers of Fountainhead Zero that we have had to remove one of the Fountainhead Writers from this site. After a series of what can only be described as inflammatory and racially insensitive posts, I have been compelled to excommunicate one Economics9698.

This was a very difficult decision to make, but after a short period of correspondence between myself and Economics9698, it became evident that his relationship with Fountainhead Zero was coming to an end. Shortly after I removed his latest and most diabolical tirade, he openly replied to my action in the comments section with some of the most virulent hate speech I've seen in a long while. My hand was forced.

Effective immediately, Economic9698 is no longer one of the Fountainhead Writers, all of his work is stricken from this blog.

Ladies and gentlemen, this project refuses to be associated with this kind of refuse. We made ourselves clear from the beginning what our intentions and expectations were. Here is an excerpt from one of the writer request letters that went out at the project's inception:

It's a pleasure to meet you Bill! You sound like a descent fellow who just wants our free country to be free. With Fountainhead Zero, we have purposed to collect as many competent intellectual writers as we can to chronicle the days ahead as the powers that be attempt to march this country headlong into a Socialist Dictatorship.

Some will say, what's the use? And indeed, it does look rather bleak. The Leftist machine is an extremely well oiled and well funded one. To say the least, the forces that are arrayed against us are staggering. So, the conventional wisdom might tell us to cut our losses, lay low, and hope for the best. Well, in our opinion, that's just not the American way.

Samuel Adams put it this way: "It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." And here's where you, and hopefully an awful lot of us, come in.

I would like to challenge you to commit to write at least one short piece a week about just that. Anything is game, as long as it relates to our beliefs in some way. I.e.-The belief that this is the greatest nation on earth, but that it may not remain so in perpetuity. All I ask is that you make it 300 words or better when possible, allow me to edit for grammar, keep an open mind, and keep away from hate speech of any kind (I mean real hate speech, not what the left calls hate speech). I'm confident that you and other like you can make a real difference going forward. I hope you'll see your way clear to joining us.

For all of us that are left, if you can abide by the simple guidelines set forth in our original correspondence, I am ever so grateful to have you aboard. If, however, you cannot, I invite you to attempt a physical improbability.

Happy Independence Day! Happy 233rd birthday for our Republic. I was thinking about that wonderful negro spiritual this morning that gives this piece it's title:

Oh Freedom! Oh freedom! Oh freedom over me

And go home to my Lord and be free.

Will this be our last "Independence Day?" With all the legislation being written in Congress and the quiet acquiescence of the American people we may have to change the name of our national holiday to "Dependence Day." But now, a prayer.

On this Independence Day, I pray the spirit that made America what she is today. This is a spirit embodied in the very document that we celebrate today; a document, which is arguably the most inspirational piece of parchment in the world - the statement of natural, God-endowed law: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights." In the same sentence, self-evident truths and our endowment by a Creator are acknowledged. This is a humility that is sadly missing today - it acknowledges our debt to a superior being and it plainly sets out the belief that there are things which are indisputable, not subject to the whims of interpretation or cultural nuance. We focus on the "men are created equal" part, but ignore the brackets put around that equality. The authors of the Declaration and the men who signed it were putting down a marker for the world - a statement of justice and equality heretofore dispensed by Kings and Emporors but now to be guarded by our fellow, equal man. With this comes the responsibility of guardianship that has been passed down to us.

"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness," are also well known pieces of this noble document. But later in the same paragraph come these words - the words that gave the document it's name:

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

On this July 4th, we have to ask ourselves very carefully whether the present-day government, "instituted among men," has become destructive of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." In the Executive Branch, we have a chief executive who has surrounded himself with 18 (Eighteen!!) "Czars," responsible for everything from energy to drugs. These "czars" are completely unaccountable. There is no method of Congressional approval (remember "checks and balances?"), no oversite...bupkus. Yet, these "czars" have enormous authority through Presidential decree to tell us everything from our credit card interest rate to what kind of light bulbs we should use. Where is the American spirit of independence that bridles at such excesses and autocracy? "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" do not stem from teleprompted orations such that we are entitled to them at the approval of the White House - they come from the "Creator." We can therefore argue that this government HAS become "destructive of these ends," and needs to be changed. Read the list of grievances that our Founding Fathers laid out in the Declaration against King George III and with a little change of syntax and slight adjustment of verbage - a hell of a lot of them apply to this King, err, President:

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

Well, he hasn't tried to dissolve state houses yet, but see how Rick Wagoner got treated at General Motors and you might get a hint of how he will deal with California.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

This is going the other way, but immigration "reform," is on his To Do List with the aim of naturalizing hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens and creating a Democrat voter bloc for the next 15 years.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.

Take a look at how Eric Holder handled the Black Panther voter abuse case in Philadelphia or how they want to unload Gitmo terrorists into our legal system and you get the flavor of a modern "Assent to Laws."

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

Do you spell the word "Czar" or "Tsar?"

The list could go on, but it would take up too many gigabytes. What's sad is the lack of total outrage. There is some...to be sure, we see it at the "Tea Parties" which are growing in number and in attendance. But blatant usurpation of power and a total flaunting of the Constitution should get our revolutionary spirit really riled up!

And now, with looming "cap and trade" taxation increases and socialized medicine, we stand on the threshold of losing free choice in total surrender to a care-taker state that manages our lives from cradle to grave. Come revolutionary spirit, come - awaken the masses of patriots who are simply too busy to pay attention.

We are in the eye of the storm folks, but it is never too late to let freedom ring!

Iran... and the world watches

Forget Politics For A Moment…

No matter who is or isn’t president, humanity has one and only one obligation to those who have and are dieing in Iran today… we owe them our respect and recognition. Here we have a nation breaking at the seams as its youth fight for a freedom that our country has promised to help secure. Here we have a people finally broken by the ever-growing weight of their dictator’s regime. Here we have a true fright for independence in this new millennium.

Police and mullah militias beat and slaughter men, women, and children as if it is their religion. The butchers of the mosque now take to the street with their nose to the pavement so as to hunt down fresh meat. Not even cameras and witnesses stop these starving dogs as they thrust their will upon their victims. Blood and entrails litter Tehran as the hounds of Hell come unleashed.

Yet a world that has promised so little for such a great sacrifice as this stands by and does nothing. The news media hides its eyes and denounces the witnesses at every opportunity. Muhammad Barrack Hussein Obama himself stands by and “respects the Islamic Republic” as his buddy’s boys do his deeds. Where is the support the west vowed for their little brother of Persia? Where have all the real men gone when the heat of battle ignited beneath their feet?

The politicians in Congress should be ashamed of themselves. They promised an unwavering support for “change” in Iran for how long now? They offered “hope” to the oppressed in this dictator’s grasp for how long now? And now that women lay beaten and bloodied in the capital of Iran Congress turn’s its eyes to the west? For what? To see if their beloved Korea is still there?

“Paint the White House black” Barrack (in reference to the pre-election rap song by his buddy) for that is the color real men flew when they took no prisoner. “We will give them the black flag” was the last line of privateers when they attacked their targets. And that is exactly what you have done madam president… pirated the “hope” of an entire nation from half way around the world.

Thugs light trees on fire so as to smoke their prey from the rooftops in Tehran. They crowd the lobbies of hospitals, the places their wounded prey have crawled into, and open fire as they laugh uncontrollably. Their eyes glitter with passion as they club the brains out of women’s skulls while their children stare on in terror.

Sorry madam president, the fourth of July just won’t be the same without the Iranians coming over for hotdogs.

Forget politics for a moment…

Where is the outrage in the media? Where have all the bleeding hearted liberals gone now that a true tragedy has befallen them? Where are the mothers sobbing as if those protestors were their own sons and daughters? Nowhere… not even rightwing conspiracy FOX is covering this actual news story. Why?

Just a rambling from the Grand Fubba’s soapbox. My heart goes out to those who spend tonight in Iran. May God have mercy on you and bring solace to a place now even more so resembling Hell. And may His damnation befall those who cry out the name of Allah as they butcher innocence so the will of one deranged bastard can live on.

Freedom Boxes

An unknown author of some bygone era once gave us this saying:

We have four boxes with which to defend our freedom:

The soap box

The ballot box

The jury box......

and

The cartridge box.

Today's entry will be an investigation as to exactly where we are in relation to these four boxes.

The Soap Box

This box represents all that was free and true when our country was founded. Any local activist could carry his soap box out into the middle of the town square and turn loose his monologue, on whatever subject suited him, for as long as his voice could hold out or his ideas hold an audience.
This held true for the local politician, minister, common citizen, or hawker of the town paper. Sadly, the soap box very seldom bears the weight of conviction honest men used to bring to it.

Oh, I know there were some theocratic areas of the country back then. But, by and large, the soap box stood pure. The rights and responsibilities of a free press were protected on the lid of that box. The irrefutable swoon of individual dissent was too. How could we have strayed so far away from its simple elegance today?

Today's press is so corrupted with political ideology that no one in the country gets the real news anymore. The best stories are buried or ran over roughshod to make room for those that fit an editor's agenda. A very good example of this would be the New York Time's killing of a story that tied Barack Obama to the vote fraud campaign and financing of A.C.O.R.N. But, we'll get into that in a moment. I just wanted to give you a preface on how these boxes intertwine with one another. Should the varnish of integrity start to wear off one, as it has with our media, it immediately opens a door to scrub a little off another of our Freedom Boxes.

Public display of religion has been all but outlawed in the public square. This was not what our Founding Father's had envisioned. People were to be free in their expression of religion. No one ever promised anybody freedom from being exposed to religion. Political Correctness has turned this country on its ear so badly that common folks can't decide whether its proper to wish someone Merry Christmas anymore. If the receiver of that blessing were not Christian why should they be offended at another for wishing them well? It has turned to lunacy without doubt. If a Muslim were to wish me Happy Ramadan, or a Jew to wish me Happy Hanukkah I doubt seriously I'd find anything offensive in that. I'd smile and say "Why, thank you very much sir!". Many times I find myself asking "What are we becoming?". Now Pastors and other religious figures may face persecution under newly suggested "Hate Crime" legislation? This is absurd and a direct assault on our soap box, not to mention our first amendment rights.

The common man and the politician have both been so bound up by political correctness that neither can express their true beliefs anymore. If you don't believe this just watch Mike Huckabee, a Baptist Minister by the way, skirt around the question of gay marriage. He will suggest a plethora of alternatives, state that he believes marriage was meant to be between a man and a woman, talk about the feasibility of civil unions, but under no circumstance will he say that homosexuality isn't right. He should, he is a Christian minister after all, but he won't. Instead he'll condone a behavior that I'm quite sure he denounces in private life. Look at what has happened to Carrie PreJean. Do you think this is an isolated incident? Just try going to your workplace and stating to your coworkers that you think homosexuality is immoral. How long will you have your job? Nope, I'd dare say, neither the politician nor the common fellow can get up on the soap box and really speak his mind anymore, not without repercussions.

The Ballot Box

This box has long protected the very heart of our representative republic. Today it has become but a vestigial organ belonging to a behemoth who is slowly dying from the cancer of corruption. Once upon a time the ballot box was guarded by laws and men that understood the very essence of the secret ballot. People were checked to be sure they had a right to participate as citizens of whatever venue they were voting in. A person's vote was considered sacred and of the utmost importance as it exemplified their dispatch of civic duty. No more....

A.C.O.R.N. (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) is supposed to be a 501(c)(4) entity. These entities normally follow a very strict policy of being nonpartisan as they receive taxpayer money for their operations. However, ACORN is anything but nonpartisan. They use the money given them by the taxpayer to rally behind democratic candidates and push them into office. In Philadelphia Pa. alone ACORN raised over 800,000.00 for Barack Obama's campaign. Considering the billions that were opened up to ACORN by Obama and the Congressional democrats after winning the election this screams of quid pro quo scandal so loudly its a wonder any of us can sleep. But that isn't the end of the story. A branch of ACORN set up for the 2008 elections called Project Vote, a 501(c)(3) entity subject to nonpartisan tax laws and regulation, cannot report that funds they received were not channeled into ACORN partisan activity. But that isn't even the most brazen thing about ACORN and its ties to Obama, Barack was an attorney for ACORN and actually trained some of their "volunteers", what reeks even worse is the blatant voter fraud and voter registration fraud this group perpetrates on the American people. At the time of this writing I believe ACORN workers are being prosecuted in sixteen states.

These people had folks register multiple times, registered both Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, and payed people to vote with cigarettes and beer. Anyone still think its legal to pay someone to vote? Regardless of what the press would like you to believe Obama did not win a land slide victory. He got fifty two percent of the vote and McCain got forty eight. And yes, before you ask, I do know how the electoral college works. Looking at the aftermath of Acorn's manipulations one has to ask, did he really win? I know I'm maybe the only person that dares speak this aloud. But, was it rigged, will we ever know for sure?

The ballot box has been lain waste by a bunch of Alinsky disciples and a compliant media. As I prefaced earlier, just scrub off a little of that integrity varnish and watch the paint bleed over to our other Freedom Boxes. The secret ballot is not secure any more. Our only hope is that there is enough left of the system that we might stem the tide through the next election cycle. Conservatives of all stripes must rush the polls in a frenzy of rebirth.

The Jury Box

The last real hope for justice to an American. It is here that we defend our "innocent until proven guilty" system of law. From this box our citizens have handed out punishment and reprieve to millions over the last couple of centuries. And it was here that our Founding Fathers envisioned future Americans beating back the death toll of totalitarianism in our society. This box is meant to be the last nonviolent form of governmental control by the people. Why have we allowed activist judges to so permeate our legal system?

Most people today think that if they are called for jury duty their responsibility is to pass punishment against an individual they find guilty of violating a law. Even if the law in question is one that they totally disagree with. This simply is not true. One can fight against tyrannical law by simply refusing to convict. Let us suppose for a moment that you are a Libertarian who believes marijuana law to be draconian. (I am personally against drug use myself) And you are called to sit jury duty on a young man facing many years in prison for growing pot in his home. If the evidence all points him guilty of the offense must you find him guilty and set up the sentencing to follow? No, you can in good conscience refuse to convict. Let me quote from the Fully Informed Jury Association:

This avenue, despite all its roadblocks, is still accessible to Americans. It is via the courts that we must make a stand against what is happening today. Those with money must use it to present the case of limited government as it was meant to be. And the fight must be intense and endured. I, personally, am not ready to give up yet. There is so much more that still marvels me about this great country of ours than that which distresses me. But the battle must be waged!

The Cartridge Box

The last resort against a governmental body grown mad with power and blind to the freedoms inherent in all men. We have not traveled far enough down the path of big brother to open this box yet. I pray for my children's sake that we never will. However, it is not only the right but the responsibility of every American to hold this box always in reserve. Should the time come to die for our freedoms I would hope we all could choose to go while still exercising our rights as free men to defend the inalienability so long ago recognized by those who strove to create the greatest experiment in self governance ever conceived. Hopefully the ballot box and jury box can stave off what I have come to believe as inevitable for at least a little longer.

A Personal Look at Conservatism: Part One
(Poverty and Crime)

It occurs to me that poverty may play a small role in motivating a criminal to commit a given crime. If a man needs food he may find himself motivated to steal some bread. Or so the old philosophy goes.

I believe that if a man needs food he should find a way to earn the food or money to buy the food. Plain and simple. We as a society should not reward those who do
nothing with their lives with simple pleasures (I usually find eating rather pleasurable).

Now we take this a step further. A man finds himself hungry… this time he just simply steals money. This leads me to wonder why not just pilfer a loaf of bread if you are already going to steal in the first place? But this is more often the case than somebody who would rather steal food straight away.

So I come to my personal outlook on this crime. Unlike the American justice system I find stealing to be a sordid affair. The person doing the act is even more repulsive. So unlike the American justice system I would rather let the person bust rocks till their hands bleed day in and day out (you know… like the good old days). Obviously the crime proves a lack of willingness to work. Henceforth the punishments involving work.

Yet what if the criminal just simply needs his next fix of crack? Well these people I do feel need some medical attention. But they still need a severe punishment equal to that of a person stealing for food. The motivation should have nothing to do with the punishment of the crime (no insanity pleas in my system).

What motivator does the left in this country fall back on when a criminal is caught stealing? Poverty.

So now to take a look at the poor.

Most of the world lives either right above or just below the “poverty line”. For each individual this line is drawn somewhere on an imagined chart. And for each individual this imaginary line happens to be somewhere different from that of the next individual. Rarely do you get two people to agree on just where the line between poverty and wealth should be drawn. But at any rate I digress…

Whatever the case the individual who preserves himself to be drifting around this equator will do one of two things… accept or reject. Those who accept this condition will also do one of two things… learn to live within their means or blame the “rich” for their failures. On the other hand the ones who reject this proposed line will also do one of two things… take full advantage of “hand outs” or persevere and work their way toward personal wealth.
For the last of those four given hypothesizes we are given the conservative way of going about this dilemma. And well I guess the first could be somewhat conservative, but I don’t too many people that are willing accept the fact that they are “impoverished”.

Those who use the “rich guy” excuse for their way of coping often seem to make up the list of criminals who happen to also use the “poverty” excuse. After all… excuses are like butt holes for jailbirds. Yet I digress again…

Now a look at how poverty has lent itself to our cultural woes.

Too often in this country we see black people getting sympathy from the news because of their “unique circumstances”. You don’t see it so much with other minorities (or at least not where I live). Yet here we have an entire race of people dubbed “poor” by a predominantly white news media… seems kinda racist to me (the news media usually does this for classic liberal reasons… to feel good about themselves). I thought we had come much farter as a country… you know… looking past the color of a person’s skin. After all, didn’t Obama win? (rhetorical question)

I’d like to just state that if more black people live in poverty in this country than why don’t we try and break that cycle? By doing stuff not to keep them locked in the bottom rungs of society (cut government programs that are designed to keep poor people in poverty) we could probably end most of the poverty in this country. But we would also have to accept the fact that some of those now empowered people might vote republican. Just a thought.

But what about all the other poor people in America that just happen not to be black? Well we don’t care about them… no… just repeating the media’s take on that. I and most other conservatives do care about the poor in this country. And as for me, I’d rather see government removed from the list of obstacles these people have to face. It just makes sense that if the tyrannical governmental programs we have had for fifty some years have not helped yet, they probably never will. And it stands to reason that more of the same will not change a single thing for those in poverty (except maybe to add one more link to the chains that keep them there).

If we do in fact need change in this country… we need a change from the overpowering government our ancestors have made for us. No, I’m not talking secession. We need less of what we have and more of what we all so desperately want, freedom. We do not need a new leader with old ideas (just polished with a smile). We do not need hope in something that Obama cannot give us. We need our government to work in the manner that our founding fathers designed it.

Yet for all this rambling about poverty and crime I have been doing over the course of the last two pages… I keep getting reminded of a truly conservative saying. “If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime.”

Don’t get me wrong… the “education” we have in this country is laughable. I simply meant that we have a country in which the government is passing out “fish” to the blind and dumb (blind to their own potential and too dumb to figure out just what to make of themselves).

But that is just a random rambling from the uneducated (not through collage yet) mind of the Grand Fubba (pronounced: ph-oo-ba).

Breaking up is hard to do...

There is a very interesting piece over at the Weekend Edition of the Wall Street Journal this morning titled "Divided We Stand." The author, Paul Starobin, sketches out a possible future for the United States as a loosely knit group of republics with even some geographic boundaries obliterated. For example, "Cascadia," would be a new regional republic carved out of the Pacific Northwest cities of Portland, Seattle and Vancouver, Canada (wait till after the Winter Olympics!). "Calibaja" would turn San Diego into the capital of Northwest Mexico, Baja and a large chunck of Southern California.

What is interesting about this is the frighteningly real possibility that this could happen. We have an imperial government in Washington D.C. now that in just six months has:

1. Violated all precepts of contractual law invalidating hundreds of years of case law.
2. Unconstitutionally seized control of a large piece of the manufacturing sector.
3. Unconstitutionally seized a large part of the capital market structure.
4. Ignored qualifying norms (like paying taxes) for high level officials.
5. Delved into private property, entrepreneurial capitalism and all aspects of commerce without right.
6. Mortgaged the futures of our children and their children.
7. Is attempting to seize control of our healthcare system.
8. Ignored the counsel of military leaders on what measures (like missile defense) are necessary to keep us safe.

The list goes on and on...we are drowning in debt we cannot pay and this is just the beginning! I know a lot of my friends are reading "Atlas Shrugged," and begining to feel like Galt. I'm increasingly feeling like a colonist in the 1770's - no taxation without representation! Washington has truly become Leviathan and we all (both political stripes) feel powerless. I love my country and desperately want her to succeed and stay together, but increasingly, I feel we have a tyrannical government and that the only way we will bring those idiots on the Potomac to heel is to consider secession and separation into distinct regions.

In the near term, this could bring some peace to the social wars too. If you want to live in a land where gay marriage, infanticide, socialized medicine and euthanasia rock your boat - move to Novacadia or Calivada. If you want religion to be allowed in the public square, low taxation and personal freedom, Texas, Kentennalageorge or Virgicarol will welcome you. Then, in these smaller, more efficient republics we will see which system really does work better for the long haul. We would have to work out some commercial rules for travel and trade between the republics and we would have to have some form of military sharing for mutual defense, but those are details that could be worked out.

My guess is, the period of republican devolution would last about 50 years. It will take two generations of pure socialism and liberal social anarchy in Novacadia and Calivada for them to come to grips with the fact that it doesn't work. Then maybe we could all get along again. Maybe.

If this sounds like fantasy, perhaps it is. But this time, one year ago, if you had told me that a U.S. hating, mixed-race racist with a resume thinner than a communion wafer would be sitting in the Oval Office I would have told you "no way." I think the election of 2010 will be a real windvane for the direction this country wants to go. If we have reached the point where those who pay the taxes are in the minority to those who receive the benefits therefrom, secession could become quite popular.

I began reading the speech that B. Hussein O. delivered to the “Muslim World” with some trepidation. The propensity for this man on foreign soil has been to blame their problems on the United States or the West in general. It didn’t take long for my fears to be met. How does BHO explain the problems of the Islamic world? Two paragraphs in he said:

“…tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam.”

So colonialism (which the United States NEVER engaged in), which raised many of these countries out of the dust of the Middle Ages, a Cold War (which we did engage in, but the purpose was to defeat communism, not keep Islamic countries down-trodden) and our own success are why the West is “hostile to Islam?”

He continues: “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles — principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” OK, Obama, show me the common principles between the Judeo-Christian ethic of ALL individuals being equal and Sharia law. Show me the progress of how women are treated in these countries with “tolerance and dignity.” The two traditions could not be further apart…this is ignorance or purposeful blindness.

Here’s another stem-winder: “And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.” Tell that to the Christians living in Muslim countries:

In Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country and one traditionally renowned for its religious toleration, terrorists bombed churches in 18 cities, killing scores and wounding hundreds. Violence against the Christian minority has steadily continued over the past decade." As an example, he cited the beheadings of three Christian teenage girls in Sulawesi in late October. International Christian Concern's Jeff King brought photos of the incident; the girls' heads were left at a church, each with a note that vowed, "We will murder 100 more Christian teenagers and their heads will be presented as presents."

In Egypt Christians are treated as "second-class citizens" under state-sponsored discrimination and actively persecuted by Islamic militants apart from the government. He cited the week-long riot in October against St. George's Coptic Church in Alexandria by a 10,000-strong mob incensed by rumors of blasphemy.

Christians face repression in Iran. Tehran's tyrannical President Ahmadinejad met with 30 provincial governors and reportedly declared, "I will stop Christianity in this country," avowing to shut down the country's growing house-church movement.

In Saudi Arabia, Christians, a large percentage of the foreign workers making up a quarter of the population, will not be able to find any churches whatsoever to worship in. Churches are forbidden. Dozens of those who pray together in private houses were arrested and jailed earlier this year. This fanatically intolerant kingdom even forbids Muslims, under threat of death, to wish a Christian "Happy Holidays," much less "Merry Christmas." (Source: Center or Religious Freedom)

Continuing, BHO asserts that there are “almost 7 million Muslims living in the United States…” Pew Research puts the number at 2.4 million in 2007 – have almost 5 million immigrated since then? The only source that puts the number that high is the terrorist connected Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), dutifully repeated by Newsweek.

In discussing the "war on violent extremism," Obama actually does a pretty good job of defending why we went into Afghanistan (and are still there)...as I read that section of the speech I thought he was actually "getting it," and just changing the vernacular. But then he wrapped up that part with this doozy: "The enduring faith of over a billion people is so much bigger than the narrow hatred of a few. Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism — it is an important part of promoting peace." Islam IS part of the problem and until moderates and sane members of their religion start policing from within and root out the insane murdering huns that have overpowered their faith, there can be no peace.

BHO muddles into Iraq with this campaignspeak: "Let me also address the issue of Iraq. Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq was a war of choice that provoked strong differences in my country and around the world." Iraq was a lot of things, many of them wrong, but to call it a "war of choice," as if we sat around and played Eenie, meanie, minie, mo and "chose" Iraq" is irresponsible and damn near traitorous. We "chose" Iraq because Saddam had violated every UN resolution ever passed and was thought to have WMD's. EVERYONE thought he did - whether he got them out and into the Bakaa Valley we may never know, but post-facto denial...should we call it "Pelosification," is a disease rampant among the left.

He wraps up the "foreign wars" section with this: "So America will defend itself, respectful of the sovereignty of nations and the rule of law. And we will do so in partnership with Muslim communities which are also threatened." This might have been a good place to have mentioned that almost EVERY engagement we have fought in the last twenty years has been to help Muslims. Bosnia? Help Muslims against Christian Serbs. Kosovo? Ditto. Afghanistan? Liberate mainstream Muslims from fanatical Huns. Iraq? Liberate Muslims from a fanatical oppressive regime. How about a little "cred" on the "Muslim Street," Barry?

The next section of his speech dealt with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It's the usual call for two states. It's really a "blah blah" part of the speech in that it repeats the usual mantra for peace that all sides have ignored: Arabs have to recognize Israel (tell that to the Saudis and the Iranians); Hamas has to play nice; Israel has to stop building. The symbology of this whole trip is such an afront to Israel that his line about our bond with the Israelis being "unbreakable" rings a little hollow. Here's what the Israelis think:
These posters appeared yesterday all over the country after a massive protest at the U.S. Embassy. These folks see past the empty rhetoric and three-second teleprompting head swing. Anyhoo - BHO has now solved the misunderstanding over our military presence in the Middle East, brought peace and purple unicorns to the Arab-Israeli conflict, cured the common cold...what's next? Oh, that nagging nuclear situation.

Well, here's the first part of the history lesson: "For many years, Iran has defined itself in part by its opposition to my country, and there is in fact a tumultuous history between us. In the middle of the Cold War, the United States played a role in the overthrow of a democratically elected Iranian government. Since the Islamic Revolution, Iran has played a role in acts of hostage-taking and violence against U.S. troops and civilians." First, the 1953 Coup was conducted to prevent the nationalization of the British and American oil companies operating in Iran. By today's standards, boorish behavior. It was also a defensive move to present the Soviets from either allying or taking Iran by force. But the reasons for the coup are far more complex than BHO lets on - let alone the fact that the Muslim clerics in Iran strongly supported the coup! Further, the "Islamic Revolution" was allowed to proceed, in large part because of the acquiescence of Jimmy Carter and his active engagement in forcing the Shah from power. Only in "History for Dummies" can you get such a boiled down, audience pleasing summary of what happened. It wasn't just simple old misunderstanding and "hostage taking," it was the seizing of an Embassy! The very fabric of diplomacy was ripped asunder by the Iranian stooges...as the son of a diplomat who grew up overseas, what happened in Tehran is extremely close to Rumbler's heart. From that point forward, EVERY U.S. diplomat has had a target on them. Writing it off as bad behavior does nothing to restore diplomacy or trust.

BHO wraps up Iranian relations by asserting that they have the right to peaceful nuclear power...two questions: first, why did they turn down repeated offers by member nations of the EU and Russia to provide nuclear fuel for peaceful reactors AND two, Barry - if they get nuclear power, can we? Sure would be a lot more efficient than the windmills!

The next chapter is about democracy in the Middle East. BHO says that Americans like democracy and respect democratically elected leaders, especially those that don't abuse their population...wonder if economic abuse counts? He SAYS these things having just left Saudi Arabia, one of the most viciously oppressive monarchies in the world and while standing in Egypt, one of the most viciously oppressive regimes in the world. Talk is cheap. I'm not sure what he could have said, to be honest, but why bother to bring it up? They are not going to change because of a few sentences on the teleprompter. If you are going to bring it up, back it up. Call out the regimes - talk about Christians and women in Saudi, talk about Jews and Christians in Egypt.

He circles back to religious tolerance in the next volume. With this nice juxtaposition: " Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition." I get it! Islam good, Catholics bad! Never mind that the Inquisition was over 500 years ago and that Catholics have progressed out of that awful time to true tolerance while Islam has gone straight back to before the Dark Ages. And Barry, check your history, the coexistance in Andalusia and Cordoba was tolerated bacause the Christians and Jews paid the tax dictated by the Koran.

In chapter six he brushes over women's rights. He rightfully points out the countries that have elected women to high office, but why not call out those that treat women like dogs...like, say, Saudi Arabia or Egypt? But all of this is prelude to the concluding act in our drama: the goodie bag!!

So, for having to sit through this 6,000 word scrabble, what do the gangs in the crowd get? Obama's list includes:

Expanded exchange programs for Muslim students.
A new "corps of business volunteers to partner with counterparts in Muslim-majority countries."
A Summit on Entrepreneurship...gotta have one of those.
A "new fund to support technological development in Muslim-majority countries."
A bunch of "centers of scientific excellence in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia."
Umm, they're getting what we're supposedly getting: "programs that develop new sources of energy, create green jobs, digitize records, clean water, grow new crops."
And we're going to eliminate polio and get better healthcare for women and children in Muslim countries.

Whew! I'm guessing the audience was a little disappointed. This is usually where Barry tells them how much cash he's going to spend. But sounds like they will get a rich new source of bomb targets and kidnap victims. Sorry to be so cynical, I want all God's children to get along as much as the next guy. And, I firmly believe that the one common thread to all humanity is the wish that our children have a better world than the one we grew up in. Sadly though, there is a group of "humans" centered in the Muslim world that want to strap bomb vests on their children and send them in to kill Jews, Christians and Americans. As Golda Meir said so plaintively almost fifty years ago: " We will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us."

A truly bold speech would have called on Arabs to stop suicide bombings and terrorist plots. Put in some salve for scientific advancement and algebra, but point out the FACT that change has to come from within their world. We can't impose it on them or buy it for them. Until that happens, it's just words.

Another Day in Paradise

Once again I awake to another day with the sun hidden behind the clouds and the birds ever so cheerful as rain drops smash down upon their heads. Even the gentle winds blowing through the trees and toppling over the plants in my garden seem happy and elated with the age of Obama. However the only thing that seems absent in the day of jubilee is the rainbow.

I thought that when “president” Obama took office that rays of sunshine were supposed to start peeking through the clouds and rainbows would be shining on the horizon. Oh ya, presidents don’t control the weather. Sorry Katrina victims… President Bush didn’t have anything to do with that nasty hurricane.

But onto my actual news of the day… Obama ready to apologize to Saudis once again. As if buying all their oil and supplying them with state of the art military equipment while their neighbor builds nukes isn’t enough. Obama wants to reach out to the Muslim… wait… Islamic world once again.

And if we are lucky… Obama will also go on over to Germany and apologize for World War Two and the Holocaust.

But back to the Arabs for one moment.

Why should the world’s greatest nation continue to apologize to the world’s red headed stepchildren (the ones with the oil that we all really can’t stand but still need till we figure out this alternative energy bit)? Because liberals need something to make themselves feel better about who else but themselves. It is like an abusive relationship. Only in this relationship the abuser also happens to be the victim.

Now onwards to Germany.

“president” Obama would like everyone to believe that his visit to Buchenwald is just him following in the footsteps of his great uncle (a war hero… Obama hates war). Look closely and one might realize that Obama just needs something else to apologize for. I mean it is pretty sad what happened to all those people who passed through Buchenwald’s gates. Yet the real issue is that Obama just really needs to show up Bill Clinton (the worlds still official greatest mourner).

It is this little fact about Obama that just really drives me over the deep end. If a single liberal out there could just for once stop thinking about themselves when something bad happens to somebody else I could be proud of them. I mean where is the “humanity” in crying a few crocodile tears when somebody’s cat gets stuck up a tree? What makes a person a “humanitarian” when they just can’t stop getting chocked up while reading the teleprompter?

So just remember this one thing… if you ever need somebody to cry over your dearly departed family pet (even if it was a gold fish)… just give Bill a call. I hear old slick plays the sax pretty well. But if the first black president isn’t in his office… or is tied up in his office… just give Obama a call. He seems pretty happy to play the taps for your once great gold fish (or pit bull… black people seem to really like pit bulls).

Obama's Best Friend on the Right

Cheney Ready To Bend Over...

backwards. Yes, the former vice seems all to ready to keep bending over for the liberals now in control of his former place of employment. With every opening of his mouth this once great bull dog shows his lack of teeth (many might disagree with me... but I the Grand Fubba just don't care anymore).

With his recent concession to the left with his endorsement of Homosexual Marriage (to be politically correct... oh the irony) Cheney showed his belly. But with his "pass" (as the politico says www.politico.com) for Judge Sonia Sotomayor takes the cake. Now we see his absolute unwillingness to fight when the time is right.

Here we have a chance to attack the left for its blatant patronizing of a liberal Hispanic woman just because of her skin tone. Sonia's nomination alone proves my next mantra; "Obama proves that we now no longer judge people based upon their skin color, we reward them accordingly."

Thusly, a Hispanic woman is not eligible for presidency according to the Libs. However a Latino is OK for the bench. But clearly a black man is way more important and thusly should be rewarded with the highest office in the land.

Just doesn't seem fair does it?

And therefore Cheney needs to start hunting down a pair of kahunas and start doggedly attacking the new fuhrer and his cronies. We cannot let our side continue down this path of submission and self destruction (note that the press only rewards us with puff pieces when we are hurting our own cause). We need strong leadership that is not afraid of what Obama, the New York Times, or the Politico has to say about them. We do not need Cheney or Powell.

To the Fallen We Pledge Remembrance

All memorial day holidays have significant meaning. But, this year's commemoration to all those throughout the history of this great nation who have lain down their lives to preserve its liberties, has special significance to me. My nineteen year old son, who is a proud member of the Mississippi National Guard, deploys to Iraq the beginning of next month. Right now he's at Camp Shelby doing his month long prep before deployment. Then he'll be home for a few days before leaving. I've taken long pause to think how proud I am of him for stepping up to what he feels is his duty and facing something courageously that has me scared to death. Funny, how I still see him as a little boy trying to imitate daddy.

Then I think of all the other fathers and sons who've waded through these same emotions in the past. God bless those men, both young and old, for the sacrifices they've made to keep us all free and safe for so long. Praise needs be heaped upon those men during the day set aside to honor our fallen soldiers. And take a moment to feel a little grateful to their fathers who held the same silent prayer in their heart that I hold for my son. Today we honor the men whose fathers only had half of that prayer answered. "Please, Lord, keep my son safe as he marches off to face our enemies. And should he fall in that foreign land please let him go bravely and with the full force of my love in his heart to ease any pain he may suffer."

And, too, we honor those brave boys. Boys who had to grow up too fast, had to face the horrors of mortal combat, and gave everything they had to give to insure that America remained the bastion of liberty it always has been.

To entirely too many Americans Memorial day represents no more than a three day weekend for family barbecuing. This Memorial day I implore all that read this to share a moment of remembrance. Pause your hectic schedule long enough to offer up a prayer for the comfort of families that sacrificed that most precious of gifts so that each of us can know freedom. Pray for the mothers, the fathers, the wives and husbands, and most of all for the children of our fallen heroes. Generation upon generation of Americans have given all so that the many can live in blissful ignorance of the evils that have always plagued mankind. They cry out to us in proud expectation on this day of national recognition of their service and sacrifice. Don't turn them a deaf ear.

should fate find us in battle,
May our cause be just.
May our leaders have clear vision.
May our courage not falter.
May we be triumphant and earn victory
as we show mercy to our enemies.

The Movie I'd Like To See Produced

I know there is much ado of late in the political theater. Now, since I have mangled my way through a few of life's challenges and can get back to contributing to my favorite blog, I'd like to discuss a theater of different venue. Don't worry, I have plenty of politically oriented pieces just wrestling with one another to be written first. I'd say a fair amount of Musing Lew explosion is about to occur on the pages of FZ. But, all that aside, right now I want to talk about the real theaters and an epic movie that is way overdue. I have been studying the phenomenon of global jihadism for quite a spell now. But, with Obama's overtures of friendship towards the Muslim world community since taking office, and his plans which may include releasing terrorists from Gitmo onto our own soil, I think it time that Americans became truly educated to the history of Islam.

The best vehicle for this in the media would be a historic film about the religions founder. I'm not talking about an Islamic influenced film like the 1976 ode to Islam "The Message". But rather, I would like to see, a historically true depiction based on the Hadith (a collection of narratives dealing with the life and deeds of the "prophet") and the Sira (Muhammad's recorded biography). Great care would have to be taken not to vary from the actual recorded history. Anything less would lead to Muslim outcry. But representing the true story should lead to Muslim praise, no? No, probably not, as the actual story is one that tells of a man that endorsed wholesale declaration of war on innocent peoples, rape, slavery, subjugation, forced conversion, and pedophilia.

As of late I have taken up telling the many stories I have accumulated in my little creative mind into screenplays. Currently I have four that I am working on. I don't so much have an ambition to ever write a made into movie script. I just like to find creative outlets for my musings. After educating myself on the formatting of such endeavor I found it really fit my abilities. Therefore I'd like to whip out a couple of scenes for our readers indicative of how I see the telling of the Muhammad story on the big screen. Please forgive any amateur mistakes as I have just started into this new expression. And, by all means, if you are some hootie tootie Hollywood director or producer (like we'd ever see one of those on a conservative blog) and you like the idea for the movie, and like the scenes given...feel free to E-Mail me.

Muhammad - The Making of a Prophet

Part One - Young Muhammad

FADE IN:

EXT. CAMEL PEN AT MECCA - BLAZING SUN OF DESERT DAY

MUHAMMAD, age 7, moves among several mangy looking camels pushing their droppings to the outer edges of the rope pen with a crude broom made of desert materials. The year is 577 A.D. His UNCLE, Abu Talib, strides over from off camera and kicks dirt mixed with camel dung back in at the young prophet.

UNCLE

Muhammad, you rebellious imp,
I told you to be finished with this
hours ago. We must have these
camels brushed down and well
watered before the buyers arrive
from Medina. They have traveled a
great distance Southward to
purchase our animals.

MUHAMMAD
Yes, I know uncle. I apologize most
profusely. I was lost in thought
about the festivities tonight.

Muhammad increases the pace of his sweeping to a frantic rate. After finishing the cleaning of the pen he retrieves a bucket with soapy water and a hair brush from beside the pen.

MUHAMMAD (CONT’D)
(muttering to himself)
Someday, uncle, you will be the one
brushing my camels.

INT. LARGE MULTI-COLORED TENT - NIGHT FESTIVITY

There are women twirling about in rainbow hued skirts and halter tops to rhythmic drum beating. At the front of the tent is an altar with several pagan type idols sitting on it. The men are sitting around the perimeter of the tent in a circle drinking and watching the women dance. Muhammad’s friends ABBAS and MURAD sit beside him.

ABBAS
So, your uncle sold every last one
of those camels?

MUHAMMAD
Yes, only because I made those flea
bags look like choice stock. I grow
weary of my uncle. He never shares
the profits of the business. He
only bestows on me the work.

MURAD
He would not get away with that if
your mother still lived. Men should
be treated as men from birth.

The revelry grows to a climactic fervor. Two men close to the boys bring forth an Arabic looking bong and begin to smoke. The thick smoke clouds Muhammad’s vision...

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. CAMEL PEN AT MECCA - BLAZING SUN OF DESERT DAY

Muhammad is now 25 years old. He leans against one of the pen rails and talks with KHADIJA, a well to do widow of appreciably more years than the prophet.

MUHAMMAD
It is this that I am telling you
woman. I have worked since my
mother’s death for my uncle. I have
no standing with the social
climbers of Mecca. Were I to have
the money I would travel afar and
make your trading business the most
successful of the land.

Khadija looks thoughtful as she chews her bottom lip.

KHADIJA
So, saying I believe this, what I
would have to ask is whether you
are planning to have us marry for
the sole purpose of making yourself
rich. I am already more than
comfortable Muhammad. It is a man’s
warmth at night that I desire. Why,
exactly, have you courted me so
enthusiastically these last few
months?

Muhammad feigns indignation as he turns his back on her.

MUHAMMAD
I cannot believe you to ask this!
You know that I love you. I am only
thinking of how to make you truly
happy. By all the Gods I swear this
to be true my love.

KHADIJA
Then I shall take you at your word.
We shall marry at the crest of the
moon ceremony.

MONTAGE:

A) Wedding ceremony with Muhammad and Khadija

B) Muhammad leaves Mecca leading a caravan of traders

C) The traders are selling at a Jewish settlement. Muhammad
picks up a Torah and begins reading.

D) The traders selling at a Christian Monastery. Muhammad
sits on a bench with one of the cultist and studies old
testament.

E) The caravan rolls back into Mecca. Muhammad is years
older. The lines of much desert travel etched in his face

EXT. OUTSIDE MUHAMMAD’S TENT - COLD DESERT NIGHT

Muhammad barrels up to the doorway of his tent on a beautiful white steed. His horse sprays the front of the tent with sand and loose rock as he yanks it to a halt and leaps off.

MUHAMMAD
(Excitedly)
Khadija! Come quickly! I have
wonderful news.

Khadija opens the flap of the tent and steps out. She now is slightly bent with age and not bearing her fifty five yearswell.

KHADIJA
Yes, my Muhammad, what ever has you
so excited?

Muhammad spreads his arms wide and snorts loudly.

Muhammad
You know I have taken to these
periods of contemplation woman.
Tonight I was rewarded for my soul
searching. As I sat, imploring the
god of the universe for guidance,
the angel Gabriel appeared before
me.

Khadija looks worried and places her hand on Muhammad’s arm lovingly.

Khadija
My husband, you know the Meccans
are quite content with their own
gods. But they are an accepting
bunch. With enough of our money in
the right pockets there should be
no problem telling your tale. What
is it you envision, my husband?

Muhammad
I am to be the prophet. All in
Mecca shall know the divine word
through me...

FADE OUT:

End of Part One

This abbreviated part gives us some of the history of Muhammad up until he has his "revelation" that he is to be the true "prophet of God". It was necessary so that we can see some of the influences and feelings of inadequacy that he suffered as a boy. Being an orphan and not very well to do one can easily speculate that Muhammad's life was very difficult as a child and probably filled with envy and distrust of the affluent Meccans around him. Although his uncle had some standing in the community Muhammad was a mere hired hand in a camel herding business who could not rise above his lowly station in life until he married a well off widow. It is commonly thought that he encountered the Jewish religion and probably early Christian cultists as he traveled building up her trading business.

After about fifteen years of this Muhammad had amassed enough fortune to afford him leisure time. Around age forty he had taken off on a "contemplation" and returned telling his wife that the angel Gabriel had given him God's message to prophet. Thus begins the saga of Islam. Muhammad spent thirteen years in Mecca trying to convert its polytheistic populace to his new religion. At first the Meccans were tolerant of him and his hundred or so followers. But eventually Muhammad made moves to verbally abuse the pagan religions in Mecca. Many cities in that era had Kaabas (Cube like structures with idols and such inside) at their centers which were magnets of pagan worship during certain months. Mecca was one of these cities. Its Kaabas held various idols and a piece of black meteorite which is still there today. Muhammad's own tribe worshiped a pagan moon God called "Allah". Mecca was well known in those times to be a place of religious tolerance. Not like today where non-Muslims are denied entry.

At one point the discource driven by Muhammad between the Meccans and his followers grew so disruptive that he actually agreed to fully recognize the local gods in addition to Allah. This thrilled the Meccans as they were a polytheistic group to begin with. But it did not sit well with the followers of Muhammad and as he saw his followers start to stray he made an incredulous move to resecure his minions. In a dramatic stroke he proclaimed that Satan had possessed him and spoke blasphemy through the prophet. This event became known as "The Satanic Verses".

Things turned pretty crappy after that. The Meccans heaped scorn down on Muhammad. They made fun of his humble beginnings and his now claim to be prophet of the one true God. The muslim followers of Muhammad began to inflict violence on the citizenry. And as his final, stupid act Muhammad signed a war treaty with the Medinans (a city far North of Mecca) against the city of Mecca. The Meccans had enough. They decided to capture Muhammad and kill him. By sure luck and trickery he escaped capture and fled to Medina. This is what has now become the holy trek repeated by Muslims known as the Hijra.

For the sake of expediancy I am going to skip forward quickly with just narrative of what transpires up to the next part of our screenplay. In Medina Muhammad turns ruthless and aims his minions at the heart of those who'd rejected him, the Meccans. He orders attacks on Meccan caravans during their holy months. Knowing that Mecca relied heavily on the trade and tourism that pilgrimages to their Kaabal brought during these months, he surely meant to cripple the city as much as possible. These attacks funded both the coffers of Muhammad and brought him new converts. By conveniently receiving instructions from Allah Muhammad now turned his before peaceful religion, that borrowed a great deal from Christian and Jewish theology, into a machine of plunder and murder. It was now divined permissible to murder, rape, and enslave for the glory of Allah. Many in Medina were predisposed to all these things and the strength of Muhammad's numbers grew exponentially. Finally the Meccans, who hadn't been pursuing Muhammad in Medina by the way, had enough of this plundering and killing. They sent out the Meccan army to protect their caravans. Muhammad sent his zealots to meet them in the Battle of Badr.

After defeating the Meccans at the Battle of Badr Muhammad set out to divide and conquer the three Jewish tribes of Medina. At first he decieved them by saying that Christians, Jews, and Muslims could all find the path to salvation through their own faiths. It was at this time that he actually had his own people bowing in the direction of Jerusalem. This gave him some in roads to the Jewish communities. After amassing enough power in those communities Muhammad then used trumped up charges to put his followers onto the Jews. The first tribe was driven from their property on the excuse that one of them had made harassing statements to a Muslim woman. The second tribe was pushed out after Muhammad ordered his followers to kill several of their prominent citizens. Then, in an act totally defied by logic, he convinced his band (who I suspect needed little encouragement to loot and plunder at this stage) that the Jewish tribe was plotting to kill the prophet. Only this time Muhammad declared that Allah had given him the revelation that the prophet was to keep all the plunder. Wonder what those early Muslims thought of being cheated out of their booty by an act of God eh?

Now we arrive at the jumping point for the next part of our script. The massacre of the Banu Quyrayza tribe of Jews at Medina:

FADE IN:

EXT. GATES LEADING INTO JEWISH SETTLEMENT AT MEDINA - DAY

Hundreds of Muslim warriors gather round at the gates of a Jewish settlement on the outskirts of Medina. Muhammad sits atop a white stallion at the front of his small army. He looks to his left where HAMZA, one of his strongest men, is holding his sword at his side.

MUHAMMAD
Hamza, I want you to go to the rear
and order fifty men to dig a trench,
two feet wide by a hundred feet in
length, just outside the city
walls. Then return to me. I shall
be in the courtyard of these Jewish
swine. Let no one else know of what
you are doing.

HAMZA
(without hesitation)
As you command, Allah’s apostle, so
shall it be done!

Hamza pulls his reins hard to the left and moves back in the ranks. WOOD CREAKING comes from behind the gate and two Muslim men holding swords in their hands push the gates apart. Muhammad makes a gesture over his head and the first two lines of his army begins to follow him into the courtyard.

INT. SETTLEMENT COURTYARD

Inside the settlement walls is a large courtyard with a central well. Houses circle the courtyard with small walking paths leading in between to outer avenues. There are probably five hundred homes here. Already there is about fifty Muslims on foot holding prisoners of various ages. As Muhammad enters one pulls a man from his kneeling position and brings him to the prophet. The
man raises his head to look up at Muhammad on the horse. This is the settlement leader, EPHRAIM.

MUHAMMAD
So, you thought you could offer aid
to the Meccans in their attempt to
take Medina from me?

Ephraim looks down and mutters.

EPHRAIM
We had no choice. You have already
stolen the land and property of the
other two Jewish tribes here in
Medina. When you declared all of
Medina as yours we knew it to be
only a matter of time before your
hordes found their way here.

Muhammad jerks in anger.

MUHAMMAD
You won’t even try to deny it. Why
should we grant you any mercy at
all. Your men are cowards. Allah
rewards the brave and righteous. It
took less than a hundred of my men
to capture your entire settlement.
You are not even men. You are pigs. The
followers of Allah do not steal. We are
granted property by the almighty.

Ephraim looks up and boldly stares the prophet in the eye.

EPHRAIM
We abide by the terms of your
offer to surrender. You promised
free passage so long as we did not
fight and did not try to take
anything of value with us. Our aim
is to save the lives of our people,
nothing more, nothing less.

Hamza comes racing into the courtyard. He moves close to Muhammad so as to prevent others from hearing. He leans in close to the prophet.

HAMZA
(whispering)
The men have started already. They
should be finished in no more than
an hour, Allah’s apostle.

Hamza sits back up straight and Muhammad nods his acknowledgement.

MUHAMMAD
My warrior tells me that our people

Ephraim looks uncomfortable with this.

EPHRAIM
Why can you not just release us
all. This doesn’t make any sense
whatsoever.

Muhammad shifts on his horse irritated.

MUHAMMAD
These terms are merely to protect
my men. You may accept them or I
will order them to start killing
your women. Is that what you’d
like?

Ephraim again bows his head submissively.

EPHRAIM
No, I understand. We shall do as
you ask.

MUHAMMAD
Good, then you shall lead the first
group and I shall go with you.

Muhammad’s men start separating the Men and older boys from the women and Muhammad herds Ephraim into the group. The horsemen push the men out of the gate and towards the
town exit.

EXT. COUNTRYSIDE BEYOND MEDINA - THE DEATH DITCH

The Jewish men are lined up in front of the ditch. They have been forced into kneeling positions with their hands bound behind their backs. Each man has his head held in bowed position by a Muslim. Muhammad sits astride his horse at the end of the ditch where EPHRAIM is kneeling.

MUHAMMAD
(Getting off his horse and
drawing his sword)
Stupid pig of a Jew, you really
thought we’d permit any of you
backstabbers to live? I shall kill
every man you have ever befriended!

Muhammad lops Ephraim’s head off in one mighty stroke. It falls into the ditch. Before the body even has time to fall over he kicks it in the back and it joins the head.

MUHAMMAD (CONT’D)
Kill them all. Then send a
messenger to get the next group.

He mounts his horse and whirls around heading back to the settlement.

INT. SETTLEMENT COURTYARD

There is only about fifteen or twenty Jewish men and boys left in the settlement. The Muslims are drinking from large jugs of looted wine and chasing some of the women around. Most of the men are clinging to their wives and children. Muhammad is framed in the open doorway of one of the houses. He has a jug in his hand as well and is eying a young Jewish woman with long cascades of dark hair as she holds tightly to her husband. A MESSENGER on horseback trots through the gates.

MESSENGER
Prophet, we are ready for the last
of them now.

Muhammad nods and strides from the doorway, across the courtyard, and grabs the man held tightly by his young bride, RAYHANA.

MUHAMMAD
Go on man, the sooner you get out
of here the sooner you and she can
be back together.

Muhammad flings the young man out into the courtyard where the rest of the Jewish men are starting to be gathered by the Muslims. Rayhana tries to go to her husband but Muhammad
grabs her about the waist and pulls her back to him.

MUHAMMAD (CONT’D)
(Laughing drunkenly)
And don’t you worry. The prophet
will take good care of your bride
until the two of you are reunited.

The men are unceremoniously herded out and Muhammad drags the girl kicking and screaming back across the courtyard and through the doorway he had stood in shortly before. He kicks
the door shut.

INT. SMALL JEWISH HOME - CANDLE LIT

Muhammad has Rayhana pinned with her back against the dining table in the center of the room. He is wild eyed with drink and lust. Her blouse is torn off one shoulder and there is blood at the corner of her mouth.

RAYHANA
You said no harm would come to us.

MUHAMMAD
And none shall, my dear, as soon as
you stop fighting. You should feel
privileged. Allah has chosen you to
please his prophet.

RAYHANA
But I am married. You sent my
husband out just a short time ago.
Are you not a man of God?

Rayhana tries to wiggle away which just seems to make her attacker more intent.

MUHAMMAD
(evilly)
Your husband is dead bitch! You are
a widow. And as such I take you as
my concubine according to the law
of Allah!

Muhammad punches her in the face, hard. Then he grabs her by the hair and uses it to spin her around violently. He slams her head and upper body onto the table bending her over.

EXT. COUNTRYSIDE BEYOND MEDINA - THE DEATH DITCH - DARK

Fires light up the night sky along the death ditch. Rayhana’s husband is being bound. The Muslim handling him kicks the back of his knees forcing him to kneel. He grabs the young
man’s hair and forces his head to bow.

INT. SMALL JEWISH HOME - CANDLE LIT

Muhammad reaches down and grabs hold of Rayhana’s skirts. He tears them up over her head as she whimpers in agony.

The Muslim draws his long curved blade and raises it skyward.

Muhammad unfastens his pants with one hand as he holds Rayhana down on the table with his other arm across the back of her neck.

The Muslim warrior slams the blade downward cleaving through flesh and bone. His victim’s head rolls into the ditch.

End of Part Two

Now, I am sure, there are those of you who want to discount this part of the story. Yes, I have portrayed it in my own words. But, the story is told of how Muhammad "enjoyed the pleasures" or more simply put, raped, Rayhana on the very night that he had her husband beheaded. You can find this in Ishaq 693. The saddest part to this story was told by one of the participants. Muhammad had a child bride at this point in his life. Her name was Aisha. She would have been about twelve when the slaughter of the Jews took place. She was just six years old when married to Muhammad. But, lucky her, he had to put off consumating the marriage for three years while he made a pilgrimage. So, Aisha didn't become a full fledged woman until she was nine. I was going to write a part about that also. But in all honesty after writing the rape scene of Rayhana I just didn't have the stomach for it.

At least one woman was beheaded in the slaughter of the Jews episode as well. We know this because Aisha tells us about it in Ibn Ishaq 691. The woman lost her mind after witnessing the carnage of her family being slaughtered. Little Aisha had become so numb to the barbarism that she wrote about the woman's decapitation and wondered:

"I shall never forget my wonder at her good spirits and her loud laughter when all the while she knew that she would be killed."

I have not written this piece merely to bad mouth Muhammad. I have written it in hopes of waking some folks to the reality that is Islam and of its roots. To quote a very good site for Islamic research for westerners The Religion of Peace.com:

Why Obama may just be our last president…

Christians believe that the world will end with a new world order. It is written in Revelations that an “anti-Christ” will rise to power in such a regime and rule the world. Others believe that the only logical step forward in our evolution as human beings will come with the unity of the nations. Either way our national sovereignty is damned.

Both sects are starting to see their greatest fears or most admiral dreams come true. We already have the United Nations to govern us when Obama begins signing treaties violating our national sovereignty. And our economy has been based of trading with lesser nations for more than a century now (governments that trade cheap goods for our quality resources).

So has the New World Order already become a reality?

Just imagine what happens when somebody sneaks into your house and takes your firearm once Obama gets his way. If that rifle or pistol ends up in Mexico you could be sent south of the border to face a trial with a “jury of your peers”. Just imagine how those Mexicans will feel about you… an outsider.

Now just imagine what will happen if we have to commit our troops back to meaningless combat somewhere in Africa. What was the Battle of Mogadishu about again? Oh ya, the UN wanted the best of the best to commit to senseless combat… combat in which our hands were tied and we were sent to the wolves.

But now just imagine what will happen if Darfur gets out of control… as if it isn’t already. The UN would hate to see armed United States Soldiers crushing the Janjaweed… it just wouldn’t be sportsmanlike. And just imagine how many innocent blacks could be saved if a man on horseback had to face down a armored transport full of Marines.

The left has already aligned itself with the dreamers of fascism. Obama’s administration leans toward Nazism with every move they make. His ideas lean toward Stalinism. And yet we hope that this man will respect, and possibly uphold, our constitution?

If Obama gets even half of what he wants in this presidency we may very well be looking at the end of the American Dream. FDR locked the democrats into office upon his death. Kennedy showed just how far the left can take us without complaint. And Johnson showed us just where the American public’s breaking point is. But Obama won’t be making Johnson’s mistakes.

Obama’s administration has flown under the radar of the public eye. We effectively know nothing about what his first hundred days spelled out. We have been played like pawns in this madman’s game. With the media under his control and the classrooms acting as his indoctrination (gas) chambers we are witnessing the end of free thought. Hitler would be proud.

Europeans still drool over this man like he is Jesus himself. But many still think that it would be impossible for Obama to lead us toward the end of the American Dream. Just ask yourself this… what is that NAU thing about? What would be so bad about adopting Canada and Mexico into our union of States?

Obama doesn’t see anything wrong with it either.

It should now be encouraged amongst the right wing of society that we begin to look for ways to protest at the very least. With liberty under assault we must not become ever more vigilant. No matter what your personal beliefs may be, not even the blind could miss these signs of fascism knocking at our door.

When the French grew tired of starving and dieing for a King they had once loved they constructed the guillotine. They sought liberty by the edge of the blade. For they belied that if government can no longer protect the inalienable rights we have been granted by God himself it is no longer just to let that such government remain.

It is a fact that Obama is bringing change. It is a fact that for a small sect of the American public this may also entail hope. Yet I can’t help but imagine Obama setting behind his desk and looking out the window as those infamous words roll of his tongue, “After me the deluge…”

State of the Union

It has been my habit to watch our Presidents on television when they are on. I watch because I feel we (the people) are being set up to receive something. I like to try and figure what they (the government) are about to do to us. I have finally figured out why the call these telecasts ”The State of The Union”.

I pulled my online dictionary and it explained this way;

1. A condition or mode of being, as with regard to circumstances: a state of confusion.

Our circumstances have put us in a condition of very mixed feelings. One, we are very excited that our country has proven the American Dream, anyone in this country can grow up to be President, or anything else they really want to be. The country has demonstrated over and over the formula.

The dirt poor have become wealthy, the ignorant have become well educated, the bottom of society has risen to the top and anyone from any race has proven they can grow up to become “President’.

This country respects power and those who generate it. Our new President built a power base upon his ability to organize. He learned this skill in the top University is the USA for generating power. He did it when our country was still wondering if we could elect a woman.

Based upon our condition, we were very skeptical of a woman reaching that office, and for a Black to do it. Well it would never happen.

Our reasoning went something like this. Women are born here and are from here. Blacks were brought here and were not to happy about it.

If we elected a woman, they would just lord it over men, but a black would be angry at all of us, (white male Americans), in our opinion they, African Americans see a difference between Americans and African Americans. We (white, male Americans) try to see the point of view that they were kidnapped, transported by less than humane methods, owned and traded with no regard to their natural ties to family, and generations raised to fear the whims and opinions of their “owners”. What would we do if we were them? Since “WE” felt guilty, we feared their rule or opportunity to rule. It made us really look at our politicians. These 500 or so individuals are ruining (running) our country.

They have flat out taken advantage of us. They are the elite ruling body of the most powerful country on Earth. (At least this is our belief). We went to sleep at the wheel. We lost touch with them as they (500 or so) became different than us (300,000,000 or so).

They are not subject to the same laws, rules or restrictions. They are on a different plan than the rest of us. Their daily life, their retirement, their health care, all of it. A privileged class. So good that many of them have spent a lifetime there.

Our money comes from offshore secret sources. Our Government borrows from “them”. Our banks counterfeit money to the point of making people crazy. We have a stock market that make and takes money from all of us so fast we cannot began to understand. Yes I feel confused about conditions. The only thing I know is that if all the other confused people in this country ever got together, look out 500 or so. Reminds me of a joke I heard. I am the world’s worst joke teller, but here goes;

A Federal Inspector was inspecting a federally funded insane asylum. One of the last places to be inspected was the security. They were walking around the fenced in facility when they saw on the other side of the fence a single guard with a dozen of the inmates.

The Inspector spoke to the guard and asked, “Are you not afraid these people will gang up on you and overpower you?” He answered, “If they were sane enough to GANG up, they would not be in here.” Case closed, so is this post. Jerry D. Hill

Obama Pushing Treaty To Ban Reloading

– Even BB guns could be on the chopping block

Remember CANDIDATE Barack Obama? The guy who “wasn’t going to take away our guns”? Well, guess what?

Less than 100 days into his administration, he’s never met a gun he didn’t hate.

A week ago, Obama went to Mexico, whined about the United States, and bemoaned (before the whole world) the fact that he didn’t have the political power to take away our semi-automatics. Nevertheless, that didn’t keep him from pushing additional restrictions on American gun owners.

It’s called the Inter-American Convention Against Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, and Other Related Materials.

To be sure, this imponderable title masks a really nasty piece of work.

First of all, when the treaty purports to ban the “illicit” manufacture of firearms, what does that mean?

1. “Illicit manufacturing” of firearms is defined as “assembly of firearms [or] ammunition … without a license….” Hence, reloading ammunition — or putting together a lawful firearm from a kit — is clearly “illicit manufacturing.”

Modifying a firearm in any way would surely be “illicit manufacturing.” And, while it would be a stretch, assembling a firearm after cleaning it could, in any plain reading of the words, come within the screwy definition of “illicit manufacturing.”

2. “Firearm” has a similarly questionable definition. “[A]ny other weapon” is a “firearm,” according to the treaty — and the term “weapon” is nowhere defined.

So, is a BB gun a “firearm”? Probably. A toy gun? Possibly. A pistol grip or firing pin? Probably. And who knows what else.

If these provisions (and others) become the law of the land, the Obama administration could have a heyday in enforcing them. Consider some of the other provisions in the treaty:

* Banning reloading.

BANNING SALE OF BRASS, ALREADY FIRED, CARTRIDGES BY THE MILITARY TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR IS IN PROCESS AND HAS BEEN LURCHED BACK AND FORTH AND WAS PREVENTED FROM TAKING EFFECT BUT NOW SEEMS TO HAVE COME BACK TO LIFE.

In Article IV of the treaty, countries commit to adopting “necessary legislative or other measures” to criminalize illicit manufacturing and trafficking in firearms. Remember that “illicit manufacturing” includes reloading and modifying or assembling a firearm in any way.

This would mean that the Obama administration could promulgate regulations banning reloading on the basis of this treaty — just as it is currently circumventing Congress to write legislation taxing greenhouse gases.

* Banning gun clubs. Article IV goes on to state that the criminalized acts should include “association or conspiracy” in connection with said offenses — which is arguably a term broad enough to allow, by regulation, the criminalization of entire pro-gun organizations or gun clubs, based on the facilities which they provide their membership.

* Extraditing US gun dealers. Article V requires each party to “adopt such measures as may be necessary to establish its jurisdiction over the offenses it has established in accordance with this Convention” under a variety of circumstances.

We know that Mexico is blaming U.S. gun dealers for the fact that its streets are flowing with blood. And we know it is possible for Mexico to define offenses “committed in its territory” in a very broad way. And we know that we have an extradition obligation under Article XIX of the proposed treaty.

So we know that Mexico could try to use the treaty to demand to extradition of American gun dealers. Under Article XXIX, if Mexico demands the extradition of a lawful American gun dealer, the U.S. would be required to resolve the dispute through “other means of peaceful settlement.”

Does anyone want to risk twenty years in a sweltering Mexican jail on the proposition that the Obama administration would apply this provision in a pro-gun manner?

* Microstamping.

Article VI requires “appropriate markings” on firearms. And, it is not inconceivable that this provision could be used to require microstamping of firearms and/or ammunition — a requirement which is clearly intended to impose specifications which are not technologically possible or which are possible only at a prohibitively expensive cost.

* Gun registration.

Article XI requires the maintenance of any records, for a “reasonable time,” that the government determines to be necessary to trace firearms. This provision would almost certainly repeal portions of McClure-Volkmer and could arguably be used to require a national registry or database.

ACTION: Write your Senators and urge them to oppose the Inter-American Convention Against Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, and Other Related Materials.

Folks, this measure has, so far, flown in completely under the radar. Be afraid.

Better off without You

Unlike the wonderfully super intelligent academics on the left… I the Grand Fubba will not lie to you. The world may or may not be a better place if you start holding your breath right now. Go ahead… we are all waiting. After all, that carbon dioxide you are exhaling is killing the environment. And don’t you dare think about letting it slip out the other end… all that methane.

After reading an article on www.livescience.com I have found that this is exactly what the journalist over there really thinks. Sure Andrea Thompson tried really hard to push the points of global warming in a manner that her liberal comrades would appreciate. Sure she tried really hard to stick to the basics… with all her side’s unproven theories and obscure “facts”. But it still comes down to this one point… we would all be better off without you (or just a lot less of your type).

Lets face it… humans like to pollute these days. We have just grown accustomed to buying a plastic bottle of pop and tossing it out about five minutes later (some of us might feel guilty and “recycle”). Society as a whole has shaped us and molded us to be consumers… sorta the way this economy works. So why would the left be so upset with our “natural” inclinations toward consumerism?

Well besides the left’s love for communism and Obamanism, they really just need control over our everyday lives. It Obama could set there right behind you while you read this… sorry bad example, he would just shut your computer off. But anyhow… if Clinton… sorry, still stuck on the black president bit. Anyway… if a liberal could dictate your every move from the moment you wake up to the moment you went to sleep they would, and they would love it.

But that is all hoopla for the real reason why liberals love global warming. See, all sorts of people love to feel good about themselves. When we lay our heads down at night we like to feel like we are important in some way. So thusly liberals need things like global warming and gay marriage to secure their warm fuzzy feelings… they can’t help it they are hollow inside. Thusly they adopt ideas like this one without any idea what it really entails (ironically these are the same people who hate religion).

What does global warming entail? Glad you asked, I the Grand Fubba just happen to know.

Global warming is many things to many people. For the liberal it is a way to expand government in the face of a “doomsday” scenario (once again ironic… didn’t they complain about President George W. Bush doing this?). Yet for the politician this means fattening their paychecks while we struggle against this monumental task. And for the hippie, this is a wet dream they have been having for nearly 50 years.

However, for each of the three classes it still comes back to control. Global warming is meant to strip us of our freedoms the Constitution has laid out for us. With less and less of our God given rights we are to be more subordinate to people like Obama. When they say jump we are to ask how high. And sadly that last sentence is hardly an exaggeration.

Every policy this new (hundred year old… sorry hundred day old) administration has laid out has been leading up to Obama’s “climate change” initiatives. In the coming days we will see our freedoms be crossed out one by one as Obama finds new ways to violate the Constitution (which he could never uphold in the first place). But like Limbaugh says… elections have consequences. Only unlike during Clinton’s misuse of the oval office, this time we more to loose.

We need to protest his every action louder than the liberals did over the last eight years. We need to annoy them every waking moment for the rest of Obama’s so called presidency. We need to spread discontent all across this nation as this man continues to rule like a dictator. If it was good enough for the liberals… well its really not my idea of politics… its good enough for me.

So the next time you see your favorite liberal, remind him or her that “we would all be better off without you” (and if you happen to be talking about global warming it really seems to grind their gears).

Because to tax, you have the right.

Take up the liberal's burden-
Ye dare not stoop to less-
But bow low to Saudi tyrants
And apologize to the rest.
But by every vote and order
By all ye leave or do
The silent American people
Shall weigh the truth against you.
