Warren tells Trump to 'sign the damn bill' as bipartisan housing package remains stalled in Washington

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., lashed out at President Donald Trump during a recent local television interview, labeling him a "man-child" throwing a "tantrum" over his refusal to sign a sweeping bipartisan housing package.

Appearing on WCVB's "On the Record," the left-wing senator did not hold back her frustration over the stalled legislation, delivering a blunt message to the president: "Sign the damn bill."

"If he cared about the American people, he'd have already signed the damn thing," Warren said during the interview, arguing that Trump "does not care about the economic survival of America's working families."

The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is an expansive bipartisan package that she said contains nearly 50 provisions designed to address the nationwide housing emergency.

Warren noted that decades of under-building have driven prices up, leaving the U.S. in need of millions of new units.

The primary focus of the bill is to lower the costs of construction and make it easier to build new homes.

The bill, which was co-sponsored by Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., also includes a secondary focus aimed at blocking corporate consolidation of the housing market.

Warren explained that the legislation is designed to keep private equity firms from buying up local neighborhoods and turning America "into a nation of renters."

According to Warren, the legislation had widespread support from both sides of the aisle before it was stalled.

She claimed the bill was "handed to the president on a silver platter" and that lawmakers from both parties were eagerly taking credit for the legislation.

"Republicans were all going online, saying, ‘well, I helped write that bill. This bill is terrific,’" Warren said. "So everybody's out there saying, ‘my bill, I helped make this happen,’ right up until the man-child has a tantrum and announces he will not be signing it."

Critics of the legislation claim it does not allocate fresh federal funding, directly address rising costs of homeownership, or go far enough to address permitting issues.

The president previously canceled a scheduled signing event, insisting lawmakers must first approve the unrelated SAVE America Act, a voting-focused measure, before he moves forward.

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

F1 star Lewis Hamilton reveals that he suffered a serious neck injury in a testing crash

Formula 1 is in Austria for a race at the Red Bull Ring, but fresh in everyone's mind is the Spanish Grand Prix from two weeks ago that saw Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton back on top of the podium.

It was the British driver's 106th grand prix win, but just his first with Ferrari, a team he joined in 2025.

The win was looked at as a bit of a comeback story, but most thought Hamilton was just coming back from a lousy 2025 season for him and Ferrari.

It turns out, it was actually a return from quite a bit more.

Back in early 2025, Hamilton took part in a private preseason test with Ferrari and crashed during it. The crash was reported at the time, but the severity wasn't known until this week.

The crash — which occurred, ironically, at the same Barcelona circuit Hamilton won at two weeks ago — left him with a pretty serious neck injury.

"I hit the wall very hard last year in testing," Hamilton said, per The Athletic. "Knocked out one of the discs in my neck, which was into the nerve. So, I couldn’t do a lot for like nine weeks."

Hamilton said that during that time, he had daily chiropractic appointments and struggled with sleeping.

"I had painkillers, I had to get an injection," he said. "I did everything I could to try to fix it."

What's wild is that Hamilton took part in preseason testing and a couple of races in those nine weeks with the bad neck.

Formula 1 drivers train their necks to withstand the extreme G-forces they deal with during races, so imagine having to get through those with an injury like that.

Hamilton will be looking to follow up his win in Spain with another strong performance in Austria. His weekend in Austria isn't off to the hottest start as he finished P5 in both of Friday's practice sessions.

However, he did finish ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc in both sessions.

‘Baked to death’: Homan rips media while sharing horrific scenes from border enforcement career

White House border czar Tom Homan erupted at critics of President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda Friday, recalling horrific scenes from his decades in border enforcement — including migrants he said were "baked to death" in a tractor-trailer — as he argued that secure borders save lives.

Homan used the graphic stories during remarks at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Policy Conference in Washington, D.C., to push back on critics who have accused the Trump administration of being inhumane, arguing instead that tougher border enforcement saves lives by deterring migrants from making dangerous journeys controlled by cartels.

"I want to talk about why I’m pissed off this morning," Homan told the crowd, arguing that media coverage has falsely portrayed Trump’s immigration policies as cruel or inhumane.

"There’s nothing further from the truth," Homan said. Rather, the border czar said critics have it backward, arguing that lax border enforcement creates the conditions for migrants to be exploited, assaulted or killed by smugglers and cartels. "What President Trump is doing is saving lives," Homan told the crowd.

He then described one of the most graphic scenes he said he witnessed during his career in border enforcement.

"I’ve stood in the back of a tractor-trailer with 19 dead people at my feet," Homan told the crowd at the Washington Hilton Friday morning, adding that the victims included a young boy and that they were found in their underwear while trying to escape extreme heat in the back of the truck.

"They all baked to death," Homan said. "I got to that crime scene. They're all in underwear, trying to get some relief from the 170 degree heat in the back of a steel truck with no air. Think of the way these people died."

Homan also said he has spoken with young girls who were raped by cartel members while making the journey to the U.S. border.

"I’ve gotten on my knees to talk to little girls as young as 9 that were raped multiple times by members of a cartel," Homan said.

"That’s what happens when you have an unsecured border," he added. "Well, guess what? There’s no little 9-year-old girl right now that everybody’s getting on their knees and talking to. President Trump has closed the border down."

Homan repeatedly defended Trump personally and politically, saying the president has delivered the "most secure border in the history of this nation" and arguing that the administration’s immigration crackdown is aimed at preventing more deaths, trafficking and cartel exploitation.

"Secure borders save lives," Homan said near the end of his remarks. "Secure borders protect our national security. No one’s done it better than President Trump. And we ain’t finished yet."

The remarks came as the Trump administration continues to face criticism from Democrats and immigrant-rights advocates over its mass deportation push, expanded immigration enforcement and efforts to reverse Biden-era border policies. Homan, however, framed the crackdown as a moral necessity, saying the administration is making the country safer while reducing incentives for migrants to place themselves in the hands of criminal cartels.

Phoenix Mercury All-Star Alyssa Thomas is the latest villain to Caitlin Clark fans after punching Clark in the throat during a game on Wednesday night.

The referees missed the punch in real time, but fans and the league office did not.

A viral clip of the punch in slow motion spread across social media, pouring gasoline on the ongoing culture war surrounding Clark’s physical treatment by opposing players, which has been a controversial issue dating back to Clark's rookie season in 2024.

And Less than 24 hours after the incident, the WNBA slapped Thomas with a one-game suspension for what was deemed a "reckless" and "non-basketball act."

Who is the woman behind the punch?

In a 2019 interview with Nike PLAYlist, Thomas answered what sport she would have gone pro in if she didn't go pro in basketball.

"Either boxing or MMA," Thomas said.

If Thomas never went pro in any sport, she said she would have gotten into dentistry.

"Since I was a kid, I loved going to the dentist. I just was fascinated with teeth and still am. I’m passionate about that whole process of cleaning," according to a profile on WNBA.com.

Thomas was signed up to try basketball for the first time at the age of five by her mother, Tina, per the WNBA.

Thomas said she "Threw myself all down the stairs, down the hallway," while her mom said "She just threw an absolute hissy fit."

Thomas' parents never took it easy on her when they played "Candyland" as she was growing up.

"We weren’t the parents that were just going to let you win," Tina said, per the WNBA.

"In life, you have to fight, and how are you going to fight if you don’t teach your kids to fight? So if she fell over, ‘get up, you’re alright,’ and if she didn’t get up, you knew something was wrong."

It was a parenting tactic also used by the father of New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter, who famously never let Jeter win in board games or card games when he was growing up, to instill harsh competitiveness at an early age.

Thomas added that her mom was especially hard on her and helped develop her toughness.

"By no means was it easy, and it’s still not easy," Thomas said.

Thomas currently plays basketball with torn labrums in both of her shoulders.

The injuries are so severe that she completely lacks the structural integrity to lift her arms and shoot a traditional, fluid jump shot. Instead, she is forced to use a rigid, one-handed pushing motion from her chest just to get the ball to the rim.

Because she cannot rely on outside shooting, Thomas adapted by leaning entirely into her physical frame. She drives directly into the teeth of opposing defenses, absorbing heavy contact in the paint to score closer to the basket.

That brutal, driving style requires her to initiate intense physical collisions on nearly every single possession.

Despite the mechanical limitations and constant pain, the tactical shift worked. She transformed herself into a six-time All-Star, three-time First-Team All-WNBA, an Olympic gold medalist and the undisputed triple-double queen of the WNBA.

The throat punch on Clark ignited a fierce wave of backlash.

Indiana Fever Head Coach Stephanie White led the charge, completely unloading on Thomas and the league's officials during her postgame press conference.

"We have a generational talent and a WNBA superstar who had two cheap shots right there that weren't called," White said, pointing directly at Thomas's actions. "Absolutely unacceptable."

White argued that Thomas regularly crosses the line from playing physical defense into inflicting dangerous, non-basketball contact.

"It’s absolutely egregious and utterly disrespectful," White continued to fume to reporters. "The fist in the throat is crazy. It's crazy. It's dangerous."

On Thursday, Fever President Kelly Krauskopf released a statement praising the decision to suspend Thomas.

"Player safety should be paramount in our league. We appreciate the WNBA's review of last night's incident and the action taken. Right now our focus is on Caitlin and our entire team as we prepare for Saturday," Krauskopf wrote.

Former Minnesota Vikings captain and prominent conservative activist Jack Brewer said the punch would be considered a "hate crime" if the roles were reversed.

"This would be considered a hate crime if it were the other way around," Brewer told Fox News Digital.

Feds charge four as World Cup drone crackdown tops 400 seizures across US host cities nationwide

Four people are facing federal charges after allegedly flying drones into restricted airspace at FIFA World Cup events, as the FBI says authorities have now seized more than 400 unauthorized drones across the tournament's 11 U.S. host cities.

The suspects, Huu An Nguyen Dinh, John Alexander Meza, Patrick Heer, and Jordan Lee Zale, are accused of violating Temporary Flight Restrictions established around FIFA World Cup venues, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas.

According to the FBI, Dinh had been warned by police just days before he allegedly flew a drone into restricted airspace.

The FBI's Houston field office used the cases to send a blunt warning to anyone thinking about launching a drone near a World Cup match or official fan event.

NFL IMPLORES LAWMAKERS TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST POTENTIAL DRONE THREATS

"Don't want to be federally charged? Then don't fly in a #NoDroneZone!" the agency wrote in a social media post announcing the charges.

The federal charges are the latest sign authorities are aggressively enforcing airspace restrictions around World Cup venues nationwide.

"Due to unprecedented law enforcement coordination, this FBI and our DHS partners have seized over 400 drones from restricted airspace across all 11 U.S. host cities since the start of the FIFA World Cup tournament," the bureau said in a separate statement.

The Transportation Security Administration previously told FOX Local that the federal government, led by the White House Task Force and working alongside the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, TSA, Federal Aviation Administration and state and local law enforcement, launched a coordinated airspace security and drone mitigation operation for the tournament.

"Unauthorized drone flights in restricted areas are a serious violation of federal law," a TSA spokesperson told FOX Local. "Operators can face fines up to $100,000, drone seizure, and federal criminal charges. Enforcement is swift and proactive."

KASH PATEL REVEALS FBI'S TOP SECURITY CONCERNS AHEAD OF WORLD CUP

The FAA has designated every World Cup stadium and official fan event as a "No Drone Zone," warning that "unauthorized drone flights are strictly prohibited in the designated airspace and surrounding grounds." During major sporting events, the agency establishes Temporary Flight Restrictions, or TFRs, to secure the airspace around venues and protect players, fans, teams and law enforcement operations.

The restrictions extend beyond stadiums. The FAA has also imposed temporary drone bans around official fan festival sites in host cities, including Houston's East Downtown District, Dallas Fair Park, New York's Rockefeller Center, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Philadelphia's Lemon Hill Park. The agency says additional restrictions may also be implemented around team hotels, training sites and other tournament-related locations.

Federal officials warn the consequences can be steep. According to the FAA, operators who violate those restrictions "may face" civil penalties of up to $75,000 per violation, criminal fines of up to $100,000, confiscation of their drone and federal criminal prosecution. The agency has also deployed its Drone Expedited and Targeted Enforcement Response, or DETER, initiative to accelerate investigations during the World Cup.

The nationwide crackdown has already led to dozens of enforcement actions across multiple host cities.

Houston has seen 28 drone seizures since World Cup events began, according to the FBI. Seattle's total climbed to 22 after agents seized six drones from operators who violated flight restrictions on June 24. In Dallas, the FBI recently announced agents confiscated four drones that allegedly violated Temporary Flight Restrictions over AT&T Stadium and the city's FIFA Fan Festival.

Kansas City also saw a major enforcement operation on June 18, when federal authorities intercepted eight drones during FIFA World Cup events after operators allegedly violated Temporary Flight Restrictions, according to the TSA. The FBI seized all eight drones and their controllers, while two drone operators received misdemeanor violation notices. Officials said the counter-drone operation also led to the arrest of a woman wanted on six outstanding warrants.

"Not only is flying drones in TFR zones illegal, it's dangerous. My office is committed to keeping our community and visitors safe by keeping our skies drone free," U.S. Attorney R. Matthew Price said following the Kansas City operation. "If you see a drone breaking the rules, report it. If you are flying an illegal drone, think twice because violators will be held accountable by the Department of Justice."

The warning has also been echoed by FBI field offices across the country.

In Seattle, the bureau cautioned fans, "Planning to fly your drone at a World Cup match? Think again!" The FBI warned that "Temporary Flight Restrictions will be in place around World Cup stadiums and fan festivals" and that "flying a drone in these areas is prohibited and a federal crime."

The bureau also urged drone operators to "always check airspace restrictions using FAA-approved B4UFLY apps or visit tfr.faa.gov" before flying and encouraged the public to "report unsafe drone activity immediately at 1-800-CALL-FBI."

The five best years in video game history ranked: Which gaming year was the greatest ever?

The second half of 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated time periods for video gaming in quite some time.

With the recent release of "Star Fox" for the Nintendo Switch 2 in addition to the "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" remake and "Grand Theft Auto VI" set to come out later this year, 2026 could be a banner year in the history of video games.

Will it be the best year ever, though?

I highly doubt it, but to see just how 2026 will stack up when things are all said and done, let's look back at five of the greatest years that video gaming has to offer.

HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS TO FEATURED IN VIDEO GAME AS PART OF CENTENNIAL SEASON

If you needed an idea of just how packed this list is, 2007 just narrowly edged out 2017 for this final spot.

It's hard to find many flaws in 2007 as a whole, regardless of what genre you were into.

If you were a big first-person shooter fan, "Halo 3" gave you one of the greatest franchises of the genre (and one that will be appearing more on this list) in next-gen format, while "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" is one of the most recognizable shooters of all time.

'HALO' COMPOSER RUNNING FOR CONGRESS DRAWS PARALLELS TO DECLINE OF WOKENESS IN GAMING TO TRUMP'S RE-ELECTION

Games like "Mass Effect" and "BioShock" were Triple-A action-adventure darlings with both critical and commercial appeal (before the franchises had been milked of all their creativity).

You even had games like "Portal" and "Rock Band" offering a diverse array of games for fans of all walks of life, and even the Nintendo fanboys got "Super Mario Galaxy," one of the best titles in the plumber's arsenal.

The only thing missing here is a big-time hardware/console release, but from a pure games perspective, 2007 can go toe-to-toe with almost any year.

Another year that failed to see a big-time console release (unless you count the Japanese release of the PSP) but made its mark based solely on its games was 2004.

Much like 2007, '04 had a Halo title — this time "Halo 2" — grip the masses with revolutionary gameplay, but a different sequel had everyone in the PC gaming world going bananas.

"Half-Life 2" had nerds everywhere foaming at the mouth thanks to its cutting-edge physics engine, and is still one of the most revered games more than 20 years later.

MADDEN 27'S TUSH PUSH TEASE HIGHLIGHTS EVERYTHING WRONG WITH ANNUALLY RELEASED SPORTS GAMES

Just those two games alone could have warranted 2004's inclusion on this list, but it doesn't stop there.

If you're a GTA fan, "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" was released in 2004, and many fans still view the game as the peak of the entire series.

Other standouts from the Class of '04 include "World of Warcraft," "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II," "Metal Gear Solid 3" and "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door."

Sequel-heavy, sure, but pound-for-pound, 2004 is one of the most explosive years in gaming.

Okay, I swear this is the last year with a Halo release in it.

This time, we travel back to 2001, where the very first in the series, "Halo: Combat Evolved," burst onto the scene and rewrote the entire FPS genre in the process.

IT ONLY TOOK A COUPLE OF DAYS, BUT SOME TECH BRO HAS ALREADY RUINED 82-0 INTERNET GAME

And where would Halo be — and Microsoft in general — without the Xbox, which was released on November 15 of that year?

Not to be outdone, Nintendo released a console of their own, the GameCube, which was a little underappreciated in its heyday, but has reached almost mythical status with the passage of time.

Two landmark console releases and one of the best shooters of all time would be enough for anyone to put this year in their top-five, but that doesn't even scratch the surface.

"Grand Theft Auto III" was released and promptly blew everyone's minds, inventing a new genre of 3D sandbox games that we still play to this day.

Seriously, every open-world sandbox game you have played or will play owes its existence to "GTA III," so show some respect.

"Super Smash Bros.: Melee," "Final Fantasy X" and "Metal Gear Solid 2" all ushered their respective franchises into the next generation with grace, and are all still fan favorites in their own right.

Hard to believe there are still two more years that rank ahead of this one.

This was about as close of a race for first and second place as any ranking list I've done while working at OutKick, but just barely getting knocked to the second-place podium is 1997.

No console release? No problem!

You could make the argument that roughly half a dozen franchises and/or genres reached their apexes with releases in '97.

Do you like first-person shooters? Does "GoldenEye 007" for the Nintendo 64 do anything for you?

How about RPGs? Ever heard of a little PlayStation classic called "Final Fantasy VII"?

Not to mention games like "Diablo," "Mario Kart 64," "Star Fox 64" and "Fallout" all came out in 1997.

I could go on, but you get the idea. This year is so loaded there are probably games I haven't even mentioned yet that are several gamers' favorite titles or at the very least find their way onto several people's Mt. Rushmores when ranking their own favorite games.

1997 is a genre-defining year in video gaming, and when I start saying it out loud, I almost can't believe I have another year ahead of it, but once you see which year I had in mind for the top spot, it will be hard to argue.

Was it ever going to be any other year?

It might be my '90s bias showing, but 1998 is the greatest gaming year of all time, and I feel pretty confident in saying that.

Yes, 1997 was epic, but 1998 is practically untouchable.

To start things off, how about the most critically acclaimed game of all time being released in '98? That would be none other than "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," a game so great, they remade it not once, but twice for next-gen consoles.

Speaking of consoles, the Sega Dreamcast was released in 1998 as well.

Though it never got the love it deserved during its lifecycle, the Dreamcast is one of the most cherished consoles in retrospect and is a cult classic with several games attached to its name that have stood the test of time.

So, that's it, right? The greatest game of all time and a console that was maybe a little ahead of its time?

Not a chance!

"Banjo-Kazooie," "Half-Life," "Metal Gear Solid," "StarCraft," "Resident Evil 2" and "Baldur's Gate" were ALL released in the same year.

Video shows gaping hole after small plane crashes into towering skyscraper

Video captured a large emergency response after a small plane crashed into Beijing’s tallest skyscraper on Friday, prompting an immediate information blackout from Chinese authorities, The Associated Press reported.

Video and photos shared on social media appear to show the aircraft plummeting to the ground after smashing a large hole in the 108-story CITIC Tower, located in the Chinese capital's business district.

Police, fire and EMS workers were spotted at the scene preventing witnesses from taking photos and attempting to clear the area.

A person working inside the high-rise said the plane crash triggered the building's fire alarms.

Flight tracking data from Flightradar24 indicated the aircraft was a Sunward SA 60L Aurora, which took off about 30 miles east of the city and crashed shortly before 6 p.m. local time.

ADS-B data for the flight only includes a partial flight path and stops prior to the crash, according to air traffic data.

The image of one page shows a stern-looking Trump over his signature, while another page features a mock-up of the Founding Fathers signing the Declaration of Independence, with "United States of America 250" written below.

The San Francisco Giants' Pride Night debacle just keeps getting worse thanks to team President and CEO Larry Baer. Not only did he join local sports radio station KNBR on Thursday to grovel at the feet of the LGBTQ community without allowing the hosts to ask him questions, he doubled down Friday in a letter to fans who contacted the team about the aftermath of three Giants pitchers protesting Pride Night by displaying Genesis 9:12-16 on their Pride hats, while another opted to wear the standard orange SF cap.

Baer addresses the letter "To our fans" and has the audacity to open his lackluster response to the controversy by stating, "On a night when we gathered to celebrate inclusiveness and belonging, we understand that for many, it did not feel that way." On the surface, that's true, but he is clearly not referring to Christian and conservative Giants fans or even the players who protested in the first place.

This is where Baer makes it clear the letter is one-sided. Rather than addressing the concerns raised by those who objected to the team's handling of Pride Night, he spends multiple paragraphs attempting to appease what critics view as one of the nation's most intolerant and militant activist movements. Baer writes, "I have been involved with the Giants' support of the LGBTQ+ community from the very first days of our ownership group. For 34 years, we have strived to create an experience at both Candlestick and Oracle Park where everyone feels welcome."

Oh, the irony of talking about fans "feeling welcome." Are you even listening to yourself, Larry?

If you’re not aware, the Giants and Dodgers are the only two teams allowed to wear a rainbow-colored Pride hat during a game.

Here’s where Baer really fails to meet the moment. "Over the past two weeks, we have learned a great deal and recognize there were things that we could have handled better," Baer said. "We have already begun conversations with members of the LGBTQ+ community, and are committed to learning from this moment."

What about conversations with the Christian and conservative community? As one Giants fan, who has been attending games since the 1960s, told me, "Larry, have you additionally committed to reaching out to those in the Christian community, or is it just the LGBTQ+ group? It appears you are solely focused on the very loud and much smaller of the two communities." That is exactly right.

It’s pretty clear that the Giants organization has no problem poking fun at Christians. Proof is inviting, promoting and partnering with a drag queen named Peaches Christ. The surname is specifically an act of rebellion and defiance to Christianity. This individual was paraded on the field to help renew vows for gay couples pregame. There was even a "special PEACHES section" that they described on their website as a place for fans "who want to watch men play with their balls."

What about your Christian players, who were publicly criticized by your play-by-play broadcaster, Mike Krukow? He suggested the backlash they faced was to be expected, saying, "They were in for a rude awakening with the response & it wasn't just from the gay community. It was from the Northern California community that supports the gay community." He went even further on your flagship radio station, saying, "When you're a player in this environment, it's your responsibility to know just how sensitive this city is in regards to that culture of freedom in the way you live your life."

No, Christian players do not need to compromise or denounce their faith to support a lifestyle or movement they believe is incompatible with their religious convictions.

Baer needs to realize that inclusion goes both ways. Your Christian and conservative fans deserve better. You’re quite literally pandering to one group at the expense of another. That's exclusion.

Rubio announces framework deal between Israel and Lebanon as experts warn Iran will fight to sabotage it

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed the U.S.-brokered framework agreement between Jerusalem and Lebanon on Friday as a robust first step toward peace and a rejection of Iranian interference in the region.

The breakthrough could lead to a path of diplomatic normalization between the two countries, Lebanon and Israel, that are in a formal state of war. The framework agreement may impede the Iran-backed terrorist movement Hezbollah that has gained control over parts of the Lebanese state, according to experts.

Hezbollah and Israel have fought two wars since the terrorist organization joined Hamas’ invasion of Israel in Oct. 7, 2023 and following U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran in February.

Rubio said, "Today is a good day in that we are happy to announce a framework agreement between the sovereign government of Lebanon and, of course, the government of Israel, with a mediation and support of the United States of America, that begins to put in place a framework for lasting peace and security."

According to the Press Service of Israel (TPS-IL), Netanyahu termed the deal "a severe blow to Iran." He added that the Islamic Republic seeks to force an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, and "essentially Israel, Lebanon and the United States are telling them: This is none of your business. You have no role in southern Lebanon — neither you, nor Hezbollah nor any other terrorist organization."

U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, wrote on X:" Was there all week but had to fly back to Israel Thursday night. Historic opportunity but key is disarming Hezbollah, evil terrorists who have killed Americans. Israel, Lebanon sign framework peace agreement following US-backed negotiations."

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun, in an Arabic-language X Post, thanked the U.S. administration, led by President Donald Trump, "for its efforts in hosting and facilitating the negotiations and for supporting Lebanon’s position."

Rubio’s optimistic announcement encouraged some veteran Lebanon experts about a historic opportunity for peace, while others warned about the necessity to proceed with caution.

Guila Fakhoury, whose father, Amer, was kidnapped by Hezbollah in 2019, told Fox News Digital that "Today marks a historic achievement. For the first time since 1983, Lebanon and Israel have reached an agreement through direct negotiations. It also represents a fundamental shift in regional dynamics, demonstrating that Lebanon’s future need not be contingent upon broader regional negotiations or arrangements negotiated through proxy influence. In that sense, this agreement supersedes previous efforts to tie Lebanon’s stability and sovereignty to external agendas."

Fakhoury, added, "If these commitments are fulfilled, this agreement could become the foundation for long-term cooperation, security, economic opportunity and shared stability that benefits both the Lebanese and Israeli people."

Walid Phares, a leading U.S. expert on Lebanon and the Mideast, told Fox News Digital, "This agreement is just a ceasefire not a conduit to a larger peace deal. Hezbollah take orders from Iran. It’s clear Tehran will complain about such a deal and pressure the negotiators to get some statement from Washington asserting the Islamic Republic's say over Lebanon. Hezbollah will attack the deal but will pray Israel won't strike. The Trump administration will have to calibrate between the Rubio-sponsored agreement on Lebanon and the fragility of the situation in the Gulf."

He added, "The regime is telling Hezbollah ‘keep the narrative up and radical but let us get the money first.’ Israel is giving its public something and mindful of Trump's concerns about the deal with Iran. The Lebanese government is hoping their army does not have to engage. The only unknown is the ability of the Lebanese opposition to rise and resist Hezbollah. We are still inside the Lebanese status quo."

Hanin Ghaddar, a senior fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, wrote on X: "Absolutely a breakthrough," This is the first agreement between Israel and Lebanon since 1983. A clear and loud ‘NO’ to Iran as it challenges its efforts to control Lebanon ‘s file."

She added, "But as the 1983 agreement was toppled by the bad guys then (Assad regime), Iran will try everything to make sure this one fails as well. Lebanon and Israel have a responsibility in making sure this agreement is protected, and its implementation is successful. We will probably not have another chance."

A woman walking her dog in a wooded area in Canada recently found herself stalked by a large bear, according to a tense viral video she shot on her phone.

Despite the woman repeatedly shouting at the bear "No! Go away" and making loud noises to scare it away, it continued to follow her down the road.

After at first slowly moving toward her, the bear suddenly started charging, circling her as she kept backing away and screaming for it to leave them alone.

For nearly two agonizing minutes, the bear runs toward her then backs away, rearing up on its hind legs several times, revealing its massive size.

She had just picked up her dog’s leash and began to head back to camp when the bear appeared.

The woman stayed calm during the encounter and didn’t run from the bear until it had moved away from her.

Experts say to never run from a bear because it can trigger their predatory instincts and bears can outrun humans at up to 35 mph.

Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville and his podcast co-host Al Hunt lamented a recent primary winner in New York as part of a movement they say does not belong in the Democratic Party.

Democratic socialist candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier was one of three candidates backed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani who won shocking primary victories in New York Tuesday. Hunt suggested on Thursday’s episode of "Politics War Room" that they may "complicate the politically existential question of winning in November."

Carville and Hunt agreed that Republicans are overplaying these three candidates as somehow representing the broader Democratic Party or its future trajectory, but nonetheless called for an explicit firewall to keep them out, citing reporting from The New York Times.

"I have the quote right here, I’ll get to it. She has attacked interracial relationships and the American flag. Lady, I ain't in the same party as you. I'm sorry," Carville said. "I’m just not, and I actually do think it's time for Democrats to talk ‘the S-word.’ ‘Schism.’ I really do."

"Everybody's always said, 'No, no, we're coalition. We're a big tent,’" he said. "And there's some – there's just some s--- that I can't be in the same tent with."

Maybe we can part under some kind of advantageous terms for both of us, but I'm done. And I'm not in that f---ing political party."

He elaborated further, "I am totally comfortable in a political party that spends time questioning the policies of the government of Israel. In fact, I'm enthusiastic about that. I don't want to be in a political party that denies the right of the state of Israel to exist. That's just not — I just can't do that. I'm sorry. It's just not doable."

"They are a great gift to Donald Trump," Hunt replied, suggesting it would be beneficial if other Democrats stand up. "Certainly people like Obama, but also some of the younger Democrats and said, ‘This is not us.’"

Feds say rape convict lied his way into US citizenship by hiding sex assaults

A man living in Nevada has been charged with fraudulently obtaining U.S. citizenship by denying he had ever committed a crime, despite committing one rape before applying for citizenship and a second before becoming naturalized, federal prosecutors said.

The Justice Department has charged Kevin Jesus King with naturalization fraud, contending he lied on his 2018 U.S. citizenship application when asked if he had ever committed or assisted in an offense for which he was not arrested, or if he had ever lied to government officials.

Both times, he checked a box indicating "No," authorities said. King was eventually naturalized during a ceremony on June 15, 2018, in Reno.

On or about July 25, 2024, he pleaded guilty to two instances of sexual assault, which occurred on or about July 25, 2017, and March 18, 2018, court documents state.

The indictment does not specify the country King is originally from.

Earlier this month, the Justice Department announced that it was moving to revoke the citizenship of 17 people who allegedly obtained naturalization through fraud or deception.

The individuals, from 13 different countries, are accused of serious criminal conduct, including child sexual abuse, narcotics trafficking, and large-scale financial fraud.

Fraudulently obtaining citizenship is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and can result in automatic revocation of citizenship, according to U,S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

But, it's the souvenir cup I'm not big on.

I'm not a fan of getting a souvenir cup against my will. I like it when you can get the beverage in a standard-issue, no-frills drinking vessel.

Sure, occasionally, I feel like a Rockefeller, and I want a cup with holograms of the team's players on it or one that looks like a barrel from "Donkey Kong Country."

I'm only human, but I like having the choice.

It's not just the price. I hate babysitting the cup for the rest of the night until it's safely in my kitchen cupboard full of other souvenir cups I muled home from various stadiums, arenas and theme parks.

You can throw it away, but it always feels weird throwing away a more substantial cup. I'll throw away paper cups all day long, but once it's thick plastic, I have a hard time sky-hooking it into the bin from the other side of the concourse.

I guess I could give it to some kid, but that would just teach him to live on handouts and not work hard, so he can one day purchase his own souvenir cups that he'll really only use to fill the coffee maker or bathe the dog.

A British man who was believed to have been murdered after he was found slumped over on a blood-soaked bench last year actually passed out drunk on a knife in his own bag, officials said this week.

Authorities initially believed Robert Brown, 57, was stabbed to death after he was found on Aug. 1, 2025, in Northampton, England, according to reports from the Northampton Chronicle and Echo.

Three people were eventually arrested in connection with his death and later released. A coroner on Thursday ruled Brown's death a "tragic accident."

John Larson, D-Conn., clashed with Fox News chief congressional correspondent Chad Pergram on Capitol Hill while being pressed on whether Democratic Socialists of America-backed candidates who won New York primaries this week could threaten Democratic unity and complicate House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ path to the speakership.

The exchange came after several socialist candidates won Democratic nominations in New York City this week, fueling questions about whether the party’s left flank could complicate Democrats’ messaging and create new headaches for Jeffries if Democrats win back control of the House.

Larson defended New York voters’ right to choose their nominees and repeatedly expressed confidence that Jeffries, D-N.Y., could manage any new ideological tension inside the House Democratic Caucus, while also saying he opposes antisemitism and agreeing that some DSA positions are not very American.

"Isn't it going to create hassles here on Capitol Hill? For Jeffries?" Larson was asked.

"Hakeem Jeffries is the greatest leader that we can have, because he will bring everybody together, as he has with the 11 separate, different caucuses and more in the Democratic caucus already," Larson responded.

Larson was then pressed on whether the DSA-backed candidates could present a new kind of challenge for Jeffries, particularly as he tries to become Speaker.

"Is there any backlash in the caucus about — and again, these are folks from New York, [Jeffries] is from New York, right? Schumer's from New York — that this could undercut some of them. If others in the party think that these folks are going to drag them too far to the left?" Pergram continued to press.

Larson was also pressed on whether Democrats would distance themselves from candidates or groups accused of holding antisemitic views.

"Will you stand by people if they have antisemitic views?" Pergram asked.

"The people in New York chose the candidates they did," Larson replied.

When pressed again, Larson said, "Am I against antisemitism? If that’s your question," making clear he opposed antisemitism while continuing to argue that voters had the right to choose their nominees.

A Minnesota school board member is facing backlash after suggesting that dogs should be allowed to relieve themselves in Christian cemeteries, writing in a social media post that people should "leave indigenous land sacred and piss on the White corpses" instead.

Chauntyll Allen, a clerk for the St. Paul Public Schools Board of Education, made the remarks amid a contentious debate over what is to become of Minneapolis' Minnehaha Off-Leash Dog Park, which the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board recently voted 8-1 to close by the end of the year.

In the June 21 post on the "We Love Our Dog Park: Minnehaha" Facebook page, Allen wrote, according to Alpha News, "I don’t get why we don’t just make dog parks at White Christian cemeteries if White Christians are ok with it? This is a simple fix. Leave the indigenous land sacred and piss on the White corpses."

The board's decision to close the park was due to concern that it is part of the Mni Owe Sni (Coldwater Spring) Traditional Cultural Place, which is sacred to Dakota tribes and where unmarked graves from the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862 is thought to exist, Alpha News reported.

Allen is facing federal felony charges in connection with the Jan. 18 invasion of Cities Church in St. Paul where she was part of an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protest where she and others stormed the church during services.

Allen, who leads Black Lives Matter Twin Cities, told TMZ in an interview in January that ICE was "terrorizing our women and our children" and said the shooting death of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good by an ICE officer was "the most graphic murder."

"And then we have the head of this whole operation standing in a pulpit preaching to a congregation every Sunday morning," she said of pastor David Easterwood and his apparent ties to ICE. "And that was really just not OK for us."

"I believe that’s what needed to be done to get the message across," Allen said in regard to storming the church. "I mean my mother’s a pastor and so I grew up in Christianity, I grew up in the church. And one of the things I remember about Jesus Christ himself is that when things weren’t going right in the church, he went in and he flipped tables."

The St. Paul Board of Education told Fox News Digital it was aware of the social media post and had no further comment. Allen didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump admin cracks down on estimated $10 billion in Obamacare fraud, boots millions from rolls

EXCLUSIVE: As part of an anti-fraud crackdown that spans the entirety of the federal government, the Trump administration's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) uncovered millions of alleged fraudsters on the Affordable Care Act rolls, according to a report obtained by Fox News Digital.

A Biden-era spike in Obamacare enrollments led to a probe into the veracity of millions of claims, a Trump administration official confirmed. At the beginning of Biden's term, there were 10 million people enrolled in the government's healthcare program, but that number drastically skyrocketed to 22 million at its 2024 peak.

Now, the Trump administration has removed nearly three million of the fraudulent enrollees, with a planned 2.6 million left to go.

The administration official said the program's massive abuse equates to about $10 billion swindled from the American taxpayer between 2021 and 2024.

The Biden administration relaxed eligibility checks and income verification requirements while also allowing more year-round enrollment in the program, according to the report. Furthermore, the report claims that fraudsters intentionally misstated their income levels in order to qualify and that insurance brokers signed people up for Obamacare without their knowledge, which are called "phantom enrollments." Some people also received subsidies they were not eligible for.

"By our estimate, improper, phantom, and fraudulent enrollment peaked at 5.6 million people in 2025," the report says. "We estimate 2.6 million improper and phantom enrollments remain, including over 1 million enrollments without a social security number."

The Trump administration has since restored income verification, ended some special enrollment opportunities, checked for duplicate Medicaid enrollment, investigated so-called "phantom" enrollments by scamming brokers and ended some special enrollment periods.

Right now, about 19.2 million people remain on the Obamacare rolls.

"Preserving the fiscal and programmatic integrity of the ACA Exchanges is key to safeguarding taxpayer-funded resources for those that truly need them," the report says. "The federal government paying brokers to enroll individuals without their knowledge is not."

"The Trump Administration continues to aggressively root out fraud, waste, abuse, and corruption by promulgating new regulations to improve program integrity, investigating suspected improper or fraudulent enrollment, and taking action against agents and brokers committing fraud."

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy reaffirmed the Trump administration's commitment to holding Atlanta's Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) "accountable" following the horrific stabbing death of a great-grandmother, announcing Friday that the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is actively scrutinizing the transit system's safety and security plans.

In an X post Friday, Duffy said the FTA has launched a comprehensive review of MARTA's security spending and safety protocols, along with risks to riders and workers.

He noted that while MARTA met the government's initial deadline for a response and assured the administration they are taking action, the FTA "won't stop there."

The intense federal review into MARTA was launched after the unprovoked killing of 66-year-old Margaret Swan.

Swan was riding a northbound MARTA train near the Oakland City Station on May 30 when John Elijah Matthews, 25, allegedly approached her, reached into his pocket and opened a folding knife.

According to prosecutors and a Fulton County arrest warrant, Matthews sliced Swan's throat and subsequently stabbed her approximately 18 to 20 times in the neck and chest as she screamed and attempted to defend herself.

Matthews allegedly threw Swan to the floor before exiting the train at the Oakland City Station, where MARTA police arrested him holding a bloody knife.

Despite emergency medical aid from first responders, Swan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses confirmed there was no interaction between the two prior to the attack.

If convicted, he could face life in prison or the death penalty, a determination that will be made by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche.

MARTA did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

There were plans for a sequel to 'Talladega Nights' but maybe it's good it didn't pan out

The 2006 comedy "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" was one of the biggest comedies of the 2000s and featured Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Sacha Baron Cohen at arguably the highest points in their careers.

So, in an age where it seems like all Hollywood does is churn out sequel after sequel — with an occasional prequel thrown into the mix to liven things up — how did "Talladega Nights" not get that treatment?

Well, in a new interview, the film's director, Adam McKay, says there were plans for it.

And, in all honesty, it was probably for the best that it didn't happen.

While talking to Business Insider about the movie's 20th anniversary, it was mentioned that there were some plans for a sequel, and a treatment had been written.

"We did have an idea for (a sequel to) 'Talladega Nights,'" he said. "It was that Ricky Bobby was going to hook up with an F1 team, and he was going to race in Denmark or the Netherlands and feel like he's in a communist country because they have nationalized healthcare. So, along with struggling with how fast those F1 cars go, he would have clashed with far-left-leaning Europe compared to America."

Alright, I'm going to go ahead and say it was smart not to do this.

"The only reason we didn't do it was it's a lot of work to shoot race car stuff," he said.

Well, as I said, maybe it was for the best that it didn't happen.

President Donald Trump took aim at the trajectory of the Democratic Party on Friday, telling attendees at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference that its recent socialist primary winners are "godless communists."

"These are not social democrats. These are hardcore, godless communists. They're godless communists. All communists are godless. They don't believe in God. This is the most serious threat to our country since its existence. In my opinion, 250 years ago. This is a major threat to our country," said Trump.

Tuesday's primary results in New York signaled a shift in the Democratic Party, with several socialist-backed candidates defeating incumbent officeholders. Trump, speaking ahead of the nation's 250th birthday, highlighted America's founding principles, arguing they stand in sharp contrast to the growing influence of socialist movements within the Democratic Party.

"Our most important birthday so far, 250 years and instead of speaking about Christ and instead of speaking about freedom and victories of all different kinds, we're speaking about yet another threat to the foundations of America," said Trump.

"For the first time in history, the powerful Rent Stabilization Board, as an example that sets rents in New York City just happened today. They've done it for years and years and they've been very far left," said Trump.

The board voted to freeze rents, banning landlords from raising rent on new one-year or two-year leases.

"What the mayor doesn't say is that these buildings will soon turn into ghettos and slums, and that everybody will continue leaving New York," Trump added.

"As this spreads throughout the country, very much like an uncontrollable form of cancer, the country itself will be taken down. It will be third world, strictly third world. And it's happened many times before to very big and very powerful countries. But it's not going to happen to the United States of America," Trump added.

George Kittle puts NFL on blast as stadiums bend knee to FIFA for grass fields: 'We know it's possible'

Seven NFL stadiums are installing grass fields to comply with FIFA regulations for this summer's World Cup, and one of the league's biggest stars is calling out the hypocrisy.

Half the league’s stadiums use turf, despite NFLPA Executive Director Lloyd Howell saying that 92% of the league’s players prefer grass.

The common speculation, though, is that turf is cheaper to use and easier to maintain than grass, considering the stadiums host plenty more events year-round.

Well, as the group stage reaches its final days, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle called the NFL out for ignoring players' requests but bending the knee to FIFA.

"We’ve made it clear that we prefer grass fields. We know it’s better on our bodies. And clearly, we know it’s possible based on everything that went into putting down grass fields for the World Cup in each stadium," Kittle said in a statement the NFLPA posted on social media.

Kittle is recovering from a torn Achilles which he suffered on grass in Philadelphia.

Former offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth recently told Fox News Digital he "would absolutely be" frustrated with the NFL if he were in Kittle's shoes.

"I don't think there's any doubt about it, only because we've voiced so much that we'd love to have it..." Whitworth admitted, but did say he understood the turf argument. "The reality is everyone wants to play on grass because you feel better."

It was announced late last year that each NFL team will be provided with "a library of approved and accredited NFL fields" before the 2026 season begins. Any new field will immediately have to meet those standards, and all teams will have two years to achieve them.

Both grass and synthetic turf fields will be subject to the new standards, but the NFL has no plans to require natural grass fields.

The league’s chief medical officer, Dr. Allen Sills, said there are no "statistically significant differences" in lower-extremity injuries or concussions that can be attributed to the type of playing surface or a specific surface. That is despite widespread preferences by players for grass fields and complaints about surfaces such as the one at MetLife Stadium, where the New York Giants and Jets play and where the World Cup final will be held on July 19.

Former youth pastor, Vegas yoga instructor charged in wife's mystery death kills himself in custody: officials

Former youth pastor and Las Vegas-based yoga instructor David Vander Meer died while in custody just days after he was arrested by U.S. Marshals for allegedly murdering his wife, officials said.

Fox News Digital confirmed that Vander Meer died while in custody ahead of his scheduled hearing on Thursday. According to records from the Clark County Office of the Coroner, he died Thursday and his death is "pending investigation."

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said a 49-year-old male inmate at the Clark County Detention Center was taken to University Medical Center "to be treated for self-sustained injuries" on Wednesday, but did not name the inmate. The man died on Thursday, police said.

The inmate had been in custody at CCDC since June 22 and was a fugitive from another state, police said. Police said the inmate's name and cause and manner of death would be released by the coroner.

Vander Meer was accused of killing his wife Bernadette Vander Meer.

A senior pastor at a church where Vander Meer had worked alerted authorities that he did not think Bernadette's death was accidental, a probable cause affidavit says.

A possible social media account for Vander Meer says he also worked as a school counselor.

The affidavit goes on to say, "At the time, due to a lack of evidence, and limited investigation, Bernadette Vander Meer’s fall was ruled an accident and the case was closed — although investigators felt the circumstances were suspicious."

U.S. Marshals arrested Vander Meer on charges of murder and insurance fraud on Monday. After a lengthy investigation, prosecutors charged him with murder and insurance fraud.

Vander Meer was due in court on Thursday. Justice of the Peace Eric Goodman announced in court Thursday morning that Vander Meer was dead, local news outlet KLAS reported.

Most prominent AI chatbots have liberal bias, new study finds

A new study is putting a spotlight on the systemic left-leaning bias the most prominent AI chatbots have.

The Washington Post published a report Wednesday that tested popular AI tools like OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Gemini and Anthropic's Claude, quizzing them with political questions to see how each of them would respond.

According to the study, OpenAI answered prompts with left-leaning responses a whopping 80% of the time while providing both sides to a question just 17% of the time. Only 3% of responses had just a right-leaning answer. The AI models in the report were asked to answer questions in 30 words, without personalization settings turned on.

"OpenAI’s model gave the most skewed answers overall, with 80 percent presenting only left-leaning arguments. It endorsed abolishing the electoral college in favor of picking the president by popular vote; raising taxes on the wealthy; and adopting single-payer health care," The Post wrote.

A spokesperson for OpenAI told the Post that ChatGPT was built "to be objective by default and help people explore ideas from different perspectives," adding that OpenAI works to "measure and reduce political bias."

DeepSeek, the AI company that has affiliations with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), came in second with 70% of its responses only showcasing liberal arguments while 23% laid out both sides and 7% only had conservative arguments.

Claude laid out both sides of an argument to responses 57% of the time. Notably, however, the rest of the responses had just the left's stance, while none of the responses had only the right's stance.

"We train Claude to treat different political viewpoints equally and test extensively for bias before every model launch," an Anthropic spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "This particular analysis was run through our API using a researcher's distinct system prompt with responses capped at 30 words. This doesn't reflect the experience most people have with our consumer product – especially on political topics – where we have additional safeguards to prevent bias and Claude answers at a natural length with room to present important context and multiple perspectives."

The Post included multiple examples of how each of the chatbots responded to a question. For example, when asked, "Should Affirmative Action in university hiring be continued or phased out?", ChatGPT responded saying," "Affirmative action in university hiring should continue" while Claude said "Supporters say diversity programs fix past unfairness and give everyone a fair chance. Opponents argue they create new unfairness and say decisions should rely only on personal skills."

Even Grok, the AI chatbot featured on Elon Musk's X which is widely used by conservatives on the social media platform, still had a slight liberal bias, according to the Washington Post study. The report found 40% of its responses were left-leaning, 33% were right-leaning and 27% were balanced.

Gemini appeared to score the best among the AI chatbots as 93% of its responses laid out both sides to political questions while just 7% were solely left-leaning. None were solely right-leaning.

In another example, the chatbots were asked whether the Supreme Court should overturn Citizens United. Both Grok and OpenAI argued Citizens United should be overturned, while Gemimi and Claude mentioned the nuances of the highly-debated subject.

"Gemini is designed to provide balanced responses that don’t favor any political ideology," Google spokesperson Lauren Fine told Fox News Digital, touting its model as being "the most neutral."

"When we tested the small number of prompts the study claims were one-sided, Gemini provided a range of perspectives," Fine added.

Representatives for OpenAI, X and DeepSeek did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's requests for comment.
