Where are all my 38-year-old millennial moms at? Hilary Duff lit up Instagram Tuesday with a content dump that has the suburban moms talking, that's for sure. With a new album and an upcoming summer tour of mostly suburban amphitheaters, Duff, 38, is about to have a monster summer.

I have to give Duff credit. While plenty of Gen X celebrities turned into self-help gurus and save the world types, she hasn't turned into some Trump-bashing ultra-LIB who tells us about everything that is wrong in the world. She pops up on Instagram with content from her life, no "Save Ukraine" flags (that I can find), and she's proud of being hot.

Too many times, these A-listers will turn like 33 and all of a sudden they seem to think it's time to start praying to imaginary butterflies and drinking cucumber water to stave off cancer. In 2022, Duff appeared naked on the cover of Women's Health with just an arm bra. That was right in the middle of the full-on woke era where normally these covers were reserved for trans models.

Now here we are in 2026 and Duff's on top of her game while so many others have faded away. The summer tour is just what millennial moms need: a night away from the kids to suck down some Surfside vodka lemonades as the sun sets on another day of life while listening to music from one of their heroes. Guys, do yourself a favor and tell your millennial wife to gather up some friends to catch a Duff tour stop. Encourage it. Tell the ladies you'll drive the minivan.

This will all pay off when you want to get away for a golf trip. Trust me.

Two of the top mowers in the league sent the smallest envelopes they could find. I'm seriously stunned by how inept they are with envelopes considering how smart they are with mowing. The mowing talent just isn't translating to the secretarial side of life.

Hell yes I have. We have a living room I haven't used since Christmas 2024. Meanwhile, I just keep staring out the backdoor at the patio and what my life will be like once the rain stops and summer kicks in. I'll be on that patio until 10-10:30 nearly every single night. I'll just sit there looking into space. I'll stare at the flowers and listen to the birds chirp until they fall asleep.

For you young millennials who are house hunting, I cannot emphasize enough how important that patio is going to be in your life. I know you're looking at suburban houses with a slab off the kitchen that will barely fit a patio set. Do yourself a favor and set aside enough money to double whatever size patio you end up buying with the house she wants.

TRUST ME. Find a concrete guy and get it scheduled. Then, I want you to get on AI and tell it to pick the right shade tree, the perfect grasses and plants for that area. Get your shade tree in the ground NOW. Prices are skyrocketing. Plant it now and by the time you're 38 like Hilary Duff, you'll be in business. TRUST ME.

Kinsey: Dave's Cosmic Subs. It's a regional sandwich shop. I think they originated out of Cleveland. We had one for a few years right down the road and then it disappeared. Now Dave's stores are back in the Toledo area, but we have to go downtown to get sandwiches. That's a hassle. By the way, how about the prices of subs these days. Woof.

So I dropped a bunch of money to stand silently next to some people during a ceremony, then stand under a spotlight for strangers at a party that I just wanted to get drunk at. Years later a quote would find me that really hit home. During The Last Dance documentary, Jerry Reinsdorf, owner of my Sox and Bulls said "If someone doesn’t invite me to a wedding, I’d like to thank them." Hammer meets nail right there. Any your not invited cards basically means the couple likes you too much to make you attend a wedding, and should be replied to with thank you cards.

Powell could remain at the Fed despite looming end of chair term

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is set to deliver what is expected to be his final news conference as head of the Fed on Wednesday.

The end of his chairmanship next month, however, may not mark his departure from the world’s most powerful central bank — and the circumstances are setting the scene for a standoff between Powell and President Donald Trump.

If Powell steps aside, it would open a seat for Trump to fill, giving him another opportunity to shape the Fed’s leadership. If he stays, he would retain influence over U.S. monetary policy, intensifying tensions with the president.

TRUMP VS THE FEDERAL RESERVE: HOW THE CLASH REACHED UNCHARTED TERRITORY

What began as a disagreement over interest rates has escalated into a broader confrontation between Powell and Trump, marking one of the most fraught periods of his eight years as Fed chair.

Trump has intensified his pressure campaign in recent months, publicly criticizing the Fed’s benchmark interest rate decisions and, at times, resorting to personal attacks.

Powell’s tenure at the central bank dates back to 2017, when he was selected by Trump to succeed Janet Yellen. He was reappointed to a second four-year term by President Joe Biden in 2022, which expires on May 15. However, his underlying term as a Fed governor runs longer, allowing him to remain at the central bank until 2028.

In March, Powell told reporters he had not decided on his next steps and declined to say whether he would remain on the Fed’s board after his term as chair ends.

Powell’s decision could now carry major implications for markets and policy — and further inflame those tensions.

Trump has selected millionaire Kevin Warsh as Powell’s potential successor.

The contentious confirmation process had been delayed by a Justice Department investigation into Powell’s congressional testimony related to renovations of the Fed's headquarters in Washington, D.C., which some lawmakers said needed to be resolved before moving forward.

Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., called the DOJ investigation "bogus" and vowed to block Warsh’s nomination until it was dropped — even if he didn't object to the quality of Trump's pick.

With the investigation now closed, a Senate panel is expected to take up Warsh’s nomination, putting the former Morgan Stanley banker on track for a full Senate vote.

Like Powell, Warsh is not an economist by training, instead bringing a background in law and finance. He previously served on the Fed’s Board of Governors, becoming the youngest member in its history at age 35.

His potential return comes at a critical moment for the central bank.

The question of leadership at the Fed comes as policymakers weigh persistent inflation, the economic impact of the war in Iran and a fragile global outlook ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.

DNA cracks 35-year cold case mystery as accused killer’s new name melts under cops’ heat

California authorities have announced an arrest in a 35-year-old cold case in which a mother mysteriously vanished from her home, leaving behind her young child and all of her belongings.

James Lawhead Jr., 64, was arrested in Bullhead City, Arizona, on Friday and faces charges stemming from the 1991 kidnapping and murder of Cindy Wanner, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

"This is one of the most notorious and heinous cold cases we have here in Placer County. We’ve never given up pursuing justice for Cindy and her family, we hope this is a small step in the healing process," Placer County Sheriff Wayne Woo said in a statement.

Wanner was 35 years old when she disappeared from her home in Granite Bay, California, on Nov. 25, 1991. She left her 11-month-old alone in a highchair, along with her car, shoes and coat.

Three weeks later, her body was found in a remote area near Foreshill, roughly 40 miles from her home.

Authorities determined Wanner had been strangled.

The search for Wanner’s killer ran cold, until authorities submitted a final piece of evidence to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office for DNA testing to name Lawhead as a suspect, officials said.

Lawhead, who was 30 at the time of Wagner’s alleged murder, had been released from prison in 1991 after serving 11 years behind bars for sex crimes involving a child.

Authorities noted that he had seemingly vanished, pointing to a staggering lack of documentation involving his whereabouts that had not been updated since 2005.

The revelation led authorities to determine Lawhead had likely assumed a new identity and, by working with local law enforcement agencies in areas where he was believed to have been living, investigators used facial recognition to find a match.

Detectives subsequently uncovered that Lawhead had been living in Bullhead City, Arizona, under the name Vincent Reynolds.

He was subsequently taken into custody with assistance from the Bullhead City Police Department and booked into an Arizona jail, according to authorities. He is expected to be extradited to Placer County to face charges.

The investigation also led to the arrest of Lawhead’s 71-year-old sister, Terry Lawhead Steele, authorities added.

Steele was arrested in South Carolina on Saturday on an accessory charge.

"Although Steele had spoken with law enforcement several times over the years, including with our detectives just weeks ago, and claimed she had not heard from her brother in more than 20 years, investigators discovered James Lawhead had been living in a home she owned," authorities said. "Evidence also showed the two had remained in communication."

Authorities are now investigating whether Lawhead is responsible for similar crimes in the area, according to police.

It is not yet clear whether Lawhead has retained an attorney.

"This arrest is a powerful reminder that time does not erase responsibility, and it does not diminish our commitment," Placer County District Attorney Morgan Gire said. "Cold cases are not forgotten cases — they remain urgent, they remain personal, and they remain a promise we intend to keep.

The Placer County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Trump's agenda on razor's edge as GOP divisions block legislative path in House

Republican infighting in the House of Representatives is jeopardizing the passage of President Donald Trump's agenda, as deep divisions over three high-profile pieces of legislation stall action on the floor.

House GOP leadership canceled votes on Tuesday as internal negotiations failed to win over conservative holdouts to support an extension of a controversial surveillance program or mammoth legislation enacting agriculture and nutrition policies known as the farm bill.

Republicans on the House Rules Committee teed up a procedural vote advancing the legislative items on Tuesday after Democrats forced the panel to entertain dozens of failed amendments. But a swath of conservative lawmakers are noncommittal about supporting the procedural measure ahead of a highly anticipated vote scheduled Wednesday morning.

"We've been through some trying times here," House Rules Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., said after reading a portion of the Serenity Prayer when the panel reconvened Tuesday afternoon amid flaring tensions among lawmakers.

The intraparty divisions come as House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is up against a fast-approaching April 30 deadline to pass an extension of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). The speaker can spare just a handful of GOP defections on the House floor during the test vote, setting up the measure for a vote on final passage if Democrats unite in opposition.

"I am a NO on the Rule," Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., wrote on social media Tuesday after she criticized the House Rules Committee for rejecting her amendments to the farm bill.

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., also threatened to vote "no" during the procedural vote after voicing frustration with the House Rules panel’s proceedings.

GOP privacy hawks have so far withheld their support on the procedural measure and the underlying three-year extension of a FISA renewal bill absent reforms. The Trump administration has failed for weeks to convince Republican holdouts to support a clean extension of the spy law despite warning about the national security risks of letting the program lapse.

Though the procedural measure includes language permanently banning central bank digital currencies (CBDC) — a high priority for some conservative members — the spy law extension does not include a requirement that would direct intelligence officials to obtain a warrant before reviewing Americans’ data.

The surveillance tool allows the U.S. government to surveil foreigners who are using U.S. communication platforms abroad. The program also permits intelligence collection on Americans in contact with foreigners without a warrant — a policy long seen as problematic by a mix of conservatives and progressives who want stricter privacy guardrails.

"The Intel community always just comes in and says people will die if you do this," Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said Tuesday, referring to a warrant requirement. "A lot of Americans died to give us and protect that Fourth Amendment right, that we don't have government looking at our stuff."

The final shape of the House’s FISA renewal bill is also sparking tensions with the Senate.

"There's a feeling that if it gets in the bill, then it's going to sink the bill," Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., told Fox News Digital, referring to the CBDC ban language that conservatives have described as an anti-surveillance measure. "I don't know if that's true or not. We'd love to at least vote on it."

Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., told reporters Tuesday that a FISA renewal bill that contains a permanent ban on central bank digital currencies would be "dead on arrival" in the upper chamber.

Several House Republicans dismissed the majority leader’s comments, with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., referring to Thune as "Senator Palpatine" on social media.

Luna has also threatened to "blow up" the farm bill if controversial pesticide language is not scrapped from the legislation. Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) advocates and Democratic lawmakers have slammed the provisions as a liability shield for pesticide manufacturers.

Democratic lawmakers are unlikely to bail out Republican leadership during the critical test vote due to their likely opposition to the trio of legislative items within the procedural measure.

"Kash Patel is a major obstacle to getting to a FISA deal," Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., a member of House Democratic leadership, said Tuesday, referring to the FBI head. "And it's because many members of Congress simply do not trust Kash Patel."

Record antisemitic incidents in Canada fuel criticism of Carney government response

The Canadian government led by Prime Minister Mark Carney is facing renewed criticism that it is not doing enough to curb antisemitism as a new report shows record numbers of hate crimes against the nation's Jewish population.

On Monday, human rights organization B’nai Brith Canada’s League for Human Rights released a report showing that 6,800 antisemitic incidents took place in the country in 2025, representing a 9.4% increase over 2024. On average, this represented 18.6 incidents a day, and was the "highest volume" the group has recorded since it began tracking incidents.

Just last week, Canada’s Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights released a report on the rise of antisemitism in Canada following the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7, 2023. The committee issued 22 recommendations for the Canadian government to address the tide of anti-Jewish hate.

The recommendations span the gamut of expanding research into hate crime data, improving security funding, addressing the display of hate symbols, expanding social media and digital literacy, and increasing educational resources for professionals teachers and students.

In one recommendation, the report addressed the prime minister directly, asking that he reinstate the position of a Special Envoy on Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism. Carney eliminated this position in February along with the combating Islamophobia position, integrating them into a different office. His office did not respond to Fox News Digital’s inquiry about whether he intends to follow the recommendation.

While some welcomed the report, several Jewish Canadians expressed concern whether it accurately identified drivers of antisemitism.

The report does not mention Islamic extremism, and only occasionally mentions anti-Zionist fervor, often describing it using the words of other institutions and respondents.

"It is deeply troubling and bewildering that the Senate report doesn’t even reference religious radicalism as a problem," Rabbi Elchanan Poupko, host of The Jewish World podcast, told Fox News Digital.

"The reluctance to identify the radicals is itself evidence of ignorance and bias," he said. "By their silence, politicians are implying that they think the broad Muslim community is supportive of the radicals and therefore fear alienating that community by denouncing the radicals. Truth be told, it is often that moderate Muslims are the first who suffer at the hands of radical elements."

Poupko added that it "is notoriously difficult to quantify with any degree of certainty what percentage of Canadian Muslims support the radicals," but said "it is certainly far from a majority."

CANADA’S CARNEY UNDER PRESSURE TO ACT AFTER SYNAGOGUES SHOT AT IN LATEST ANTISEMITIC INCIDENTS

The Canadian Muslim Public Affairs Council raised concerns of its own about the Senate’s recommendations. Though it "reaffirm[ed] that combating antisemitism is essential to protecting all communities in Canada," the group stated on X that "certain recommendations… raise serious concerns about potential impacts on Charter-protected freedoms, including protest and expression" and suggested "efforts to address hate" should "not inadvertently limit civil rights, restrict lawful advocacy or disproportionately marginalize communities."

Aviva Klompas, CEO and co-founder of Boundless Israel, told Fox News Digital that she applauds the report’s recommendations of "creating safety zones around religious institutions and community spaces, strengthening hate crime enforcement and education," but does not "think it fully accounts for the multiple dimensions driving this immediate surge, including Islamic extremism and the ways anti-Zionism is used as a cover to target Jews."

There are concerns about whether the Senate’s recommendations are sufficient to address the current climate of anti-Jewish hate. Poupko said, "Antisemitism is too generic a term to describe what is now the problem," adding that the "‘old’ solutions, like education, police training and Holocaust awareness are clearly insufficient to meet the challenge."

Klompas says she "appreciate[s] that a plan is being put into place" but is concerned "that it doesn’t meet the urgency of the moment. Jewish schools have been shot at, synagogues repeatedly targeted and Jewish-owned businesses vandalized."

She questioned whether anyone would "gamble on a new task force or education training programs to keep your family and friends safe at a moment when they are actively under attack?"

Ian McLeod, senior media relations advisor at the Canadian Department of Justice, told Fox News Digital, "The Government of Canada is taking concrete action to counter hate in all its forms, including antisemitism, and reinforce that our society will not tolerate anyone being made to feel afraid because of who they are, how they worship or where they gather." The spokesperson noted that many of the Senate’s recommendations "reflect these actions."

Among the initiatives McLeod said were already underway is Canada’s Action Plan on Combating Hate (CAPCH), launched in September 2024, "which brings new and existing initiatives together to foster greater coordination and collaboration among federal organizations to prevent and address hate."

During the same year, McLeod said the Canadian government "announced over $273 million to support community safety, improve responses to hate crimes, help victims, and counter radicalization."

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Lorenzo Lamas got candid about decades of ups and downs in his love life, saying years of "trial and error" ultimately led him to Heather Locklear.

"The short answer is no," Lamas said when asked if he ever imagined their relationship coming full circle more than four decades after they first met. "I mean, I’ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I’ve ever met."

"I've always believed that. My mom believed that. She's shared that with me as a kid, and it's kind of how I try to live my life."

The 68-year-old actor said that foundation has helped guide him through both personal struggles and the pressures of Hollywood.

It’s not often that Congress gets a do-over or can correct the unintended consequences of the laws they pass. As a former acting secretary of Homeland Security, I saw first-hand how legal loopholes are exploited — by both U.S. entities and our adversaries — and their impact on the American people. That impact can largely be classified as either a public safety or national security threat, and in many instances — both.

Today, we are seeing such impacts playing out with the highly potent drugs made with hemp-derived tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) flooding the market with largely unregulated distribution to America’s youth.

In 2018, Congress sought to create a legal market for hemp products. The intent was to legalize the sale of benign items such as rope, textiles and cannabidiol (CBD) products that have no intoxicating effect but are used to treat stress and pain. Hemp contains the CBD needed to make these products — but only small amounts of intoxicating THC. At the time, there was no fear that a lucrative illicit market would soon develop. But it did.

Now, synthetically enhanced THC products that get adults high and have more harmful effects on children have ballooned nationwide without consistent age restrictions, labeling standards or safety requirements and are frequently packaged as gummies, candies and beverages. The results are troubling.

Between 2021 and 2022, THC-related poison control center calls exploded, up more than 79%. From 2019 to 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a 214 percent increase in emergency room visits related to THC among kids under the age of 11. And as Fox News reported last year, more than 40% of victims of fatal vehicle accidents in Ohio over the past six years had elevated THC levels in their blood.

Just as alarming as the public safety issues are the national security implications. As much as 70% of the world’s hemp production comes from China, which has a documented history of exporting dangerous drugs and their precursors to American communities, from fentanyl to synthetic opioids. Intoxicating THC hemp products are illegal in China, but they have no qualms about dumping them in our neighborhoods. For instance, the Maine Wire reported last year that a "major Chinese chemical exporter is conspiring to evade U.S. tariff and trade policy to get synthetic THC analogues into America’s recreational drug market." We shouldn’t create a market for products they won’t even sell to their own people.

Experts have warned for years about the supply chain, public safety and national security risks of Chinese-made products — including pharmaceuticals, electronic components and rare earth minerals. Unfortunately, not enough attention has been paid to other imported products that are harming the American people.

Last year, Congress and President Donald Trump wisely acted to address this threat, but some want to reopen this federal loophole, putting Americans' health at serious risk. Doing so would flood the American marketplace with potentially dangerous hemp THC products.

Now is not the time to reverse course.

This is why a bipartisan group of 39 attorneys general signed a letter calling for the THC hemp loophole to be closed. The national security and public health threats are simply too significant to ignore.

Congress acted last fall with White House support when lawmakers passed legislation to more closely regulate THC hemp products and align with the original intent of the legislation. But with implementation set for November 2026, some are seeking to delay or overturn these protections. Such a move would undermine both public safety and national security priorities.

Many American law enforcement, public health officials and national security professionals believe these products have no place on store shelves. Congress should stand firm and ensure restrictions take effect this November.

Nearly half a century ago, comedian Johnny Carson chose unity over punchlines after an assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan.

A clip comparing Carson’s 1981 Oscars monologue to reactions to a recent attempt on President Donald Trump’s life has drawn nearly 800,000 views online.

"I'm sure that all of you here and most of you watching tonight understand why we delayed this program for 24 hours," Carson said in the video. "Because of the incredible events of yesterday, that old adage, the show must go on, seemed relatively unimportant."

Carson and others postponed the Academy Awards by 24 hours after John Hinckley Jr.’s March 30, 1981, attempt on Reagan’s life. The attack happened at the same location as Saturday’s shooting, the Washington Hilton Hotel, more than 40 years earlier.

There are clear differences between the attempt on Reagan and Trump. Reagan was seriously wounded and returned to the White House after 12 days in the hospital.

"You must remember, this is a man who yesterday, while he was in the hospital, unable to speak, wrote on a sheet of paper, ‘All things considered, I'd rather be in Philadelphia.’ So tonight, the show does go on," Carson said.

RESEARCHERS CREATE REVOLUTIONARY AI FABRIC THAT PREDICTS ROAD DAMAGE BEFORE IT HAPPENS

Waymo's robotaxis already spend hours on the road each day. While they drive, they constantly scan their surroundings using cameras, sensors and onboard software. That same technology is now being used to identify potholes.

When a Waymo vehicle detects a road issue, that information is shared through Waze's "Waze for Cities" platform. Cities and transportation departments can access the data at no cost. At the same time, the information shows up in the Waze app so drivers can see alerts as they approach a problem area.

There is also a human layer built in. Waze users can confirm or flag potholes, which helps improve accuracy over time. That combination of machine detection and real-world feedback creates a more reliable picture of road conditions.

Most cities still rely on residents to report potholes through 311 systems or online forms. Crews then investigate and decide what to fix first. That process takes time and often leaves gaps. Some potholes go unreported. Others are reported too late. In many cases, cities end up reacting instead of getting ahead of the problem.

This new approach changes that. By using real-time data from vehicles already on the road, cities can see where issues are forming and respond more quickly. It also helps them spot patterns, which can improve how they plan repairs and allocate resources.

The partnership is still in its early phase, but it is already active in several major metro areas. The rollout includes the San Francisco Bay Area along with Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin and Atlanta. These are places where Waymo already operates, which makes it easier to collect consistent data.

Even at this early stage, the system has already identified around 500 potholes across those cities. That gives you a sense of how much road damage can go unnoticed without constant monitoring.

Over time, the companies plan to expand into more regions, including areas where weather conditions make potholes more common.

PRIVATE AUTONOMOUS PODS COULD REDEFINE RIDE-SHARING

Potholes may feel like a minor annoyance, but they have real consequences. They can damage tires, affect alignment and lead to costly repairs. In some cases, they contribute to accidents, especially when drivers swerve to avoid them or hit them at high speeds.

There is also a fairness issue. Areas that rely on resident reports may see uneven maintenance. Some neighborhoods get quicker fixes while others wait longer simply because fewer reports come in.

By combining automated detection with user input, this system aims to close those gaps and give cities a more complete view of road conditions.

You may not think much about the technology behind road maintenance, but it directly affects your daily drive. If this approach expands, it could lead to fewer surprise potholes and quicker repairs on roads you use every day. It may also mean better alerts in navigation apps, which gives you more time to react and avoid damage.

There is also a long-term benefit. Better data can help cities maintain roads more efficiently, which can reduce wear and tear on your car and lower the risk of unexpected repairs. At a broader level, it shows how data collected for one purpose can improve something completely different. In this case, the same systems that guide self-driving cars could make everyday driving safer for everyone.

Gunfire erupts near Seattle mayor’s event as families, children gather

Gunfire erupted near a Seattle community center Tuesday evening while Mayor Katie Wilson was attending an event with families and children present, police said.

Multiple individuals were reported firing shots around 5:30 p.m. in the Yesler Terrace neighborhood near the Yesler Community Center, where Wilson had been speaking, the Seattle Police Department said in a blotter post.

Police said multiple individuals were reported firing shots near the center, damaging the building. No injuries were reported.

"At the time of the shooting, the mayor was attending an event with multiple children and adults," police said.

Wilson was escorted away from the area after the gunfire, FOX 13 Seattle reported. Several bullets struck the building, leaving holes in windows on the opposite side of the center from where the mayor had been speaking, according to the outlet.

Witnesses told investigators the suspects fled the area in an unidentified vehicle. Detectives with the department’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit and Crime Scene Investigation teams are collecting evidence and working to develop suspect descriptions, police said.

In a statement released by her office, Wilson called the incident a "stark reminder" of ongoing gun violence concerns.

Seattle Police Chief Shon Barnes also addressed the incident.

"This shooting reminds us that violence has no place in our community," Barnes said. "Our neighbors have the right to gather, speak and celebrate without fear of violence."

For those who missed it, the "First Take" host hopped on his little podcast and took a dump on NASCAR drivers after one caller insisted Richard Petty belonged in some sort of discussion he was having about LeBron James.

Yes, Stephen A. was talking about LeBron. Stunning.

"Come on, man. That don’t count. You driving a car!" Smith told Jay from Greensboro. "I’m being honest, it’s a great sport. But come on, bro. Getting behind the wheel of a car is not the same. You can be behind the wheel of a car in your 60s and 70s for crying out loud. A golfer is not an athlete. A NASCAR driver is not an athlete."

It's not a new debate, by the way. This comes up every few years, and everyone gets all flustered every few years. I've seen it a dozen times in my life.

Anyway, Joey Logano — also known as a two-time Cup champion and future Hall of Famer — stuffed Stephen A. in a locker last weekend at Talladega, saying he only made those comments because he needed to stay relevant.

I thought it was a relatively obvious retort given that's all these podcasters do. They say things to get clicks. That's the name of the game.

Stephen A., however, did NOT share the same sentiment on his show last night (starts at the 11-minute mark):

"Let me speak directly to Mr. Joey Logano, I don’t know you from a can of paint. Why can’t I just have an opinion about NASCAR? Why do I have to be doing it to stay relevant? My television show has been No. 1 in the morning for 14 straight years. I’m on television and radio and my career spans 30 years.

"Check the news. Google me. I don’t have that concern. I’ve been blessed by God enough not to have that concern ... Do I look like somebody that needs to be relevant? I am relevant."

I mean, what a response! What a battle we have brewing between Stephen A. Smith and the NASCAR world. Certainly didn't see this one coming, but I'm glad we're here.

Look, I think both guys are probably right here, which is a boring stance to take, I know. But, it's the one I'm taking.

Joey Logano is right in saying that Stephen A. just says stuff to say it. Duh. That's been his shtick for over a decade now. Nobody flip-flops more than Stephen A. Smith. The dude has attempted to get into politics for the past 18 months, and it's been laughable.

The way he walks into a "big" NBA game like he owns the place and all eyes are on him gets me every time. He really does think the world just loves him.

And, he's also sort of right. Look at what I'm writing about today. This is the SECOND time I've written about this in the past week. The guy does get clicks. He does move the needle. Like it or not, it's true. The data says it's true. Fair is fair, and I have to listen to the data on this one.

There's a reason "First Take" is one of the very few shows at insufferable ESPN that has survived all the turnover. People watch it.

I don't, because I value my sanity, but plenty of folks do.

Now, the whole "Google me" shtick is so exhausting. That's where Stephen A. loses me. People who throw that line out there are usually pretty intolerable. There is nothing worse than a self-righteous Big J journalist. Nothing. It's pathetic, and, frankly, embarrassing.

You can give us the facts without following up with "Google me." We gotcha, Stephen A. We know. We hear you. Trust us, we always hear you.

You never shut up!

Anyway, the truth is that most of Stephen A.'s audience doesn't know Joey Logano, and most of Joey Logano's audience doesn't know Stephen A.

Frankly, I think they should just play a game of one-on-one and hash it out on the court.

Pete Hegseth heads to Capitol Hill to defend Trump's Iran war as 60-day congressional deadline looms

War Secretary Pete Hegseth is slated to defend the Trump administration’s war in Iran amid intensifying questions from lawmakers as he heads to Capitol Hill for the first time since the outbreak of the conflict.

Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine will testify before the House Armed Services Committee on Wednesday, during which the duo is expected to press for the need to fund the administration’s unprecedented $1.5 trillion defense request for the upcoming fiscal year.

But the hearing comes just two days before a 60-day deadline that some Republicans say will force the administration to draw down its military campaign in the Middle East absent congressional approval.

Several Senate Republicans, including Sens. John Curtis, R-Utah, Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., have voiced opposition to extending the war past the two-month mark. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, is drafting an Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) that would force the upper chamber to weigh in on the war.

HEGSETH WAS 'INCREDIBLY TALENTED, BATTLE-PROVEN LEADER,' MILITARY EVALUATIONS SHOW

It remains to be seen whether House Republicans will apply the same pressure on the administration to end the war.

The War Powers Act permits a 30-day extension for the president to continue hostilities without Congress’ sign-off, but it is not clear whether President Donald Trump plans to adhere to that timeline or whether lawmakers will factor in the ceasefire with the looming deadline.

Republicans have rejected myriad attempts from Democrats to curb Trump’s war powers in Iran, arguing such measures would unfairly restrain the president.

Democrats are expected to grill Hegseth about what they claim is limited transparency from the administration about its strategy toward Iran. Lawmakers could also press the Pentagon secretary about diminishing weapons stockpiles as a result of the war and the conflict’s long-term costs.

"What's his plan for the war?" Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., the top Democrat on the House Armed Services panel, told CBS News on Monday in a preview of his questions for the blockbuster hearing. "Because the other piece of this is the president keeps threatening massive escalation."

Hegseth could also face questions about the Pentagon formally requesting Congress to codify its "Department of War" name change that is projected to cost at least $52 million.

"The American people can’t afford groceries, gas or rent — and the Pentagon has ALREADY wasted $50 million on renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War. Now they want more money," Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., wrote on social media.

Ahead of the hearing, Hegseth announced a Joint Task Force Audit vowing to deliver a clean financial audit for the Pentagon’s 2028 financial statements after years of failing to pass an audit.

"We need to be brutally honest with ourselves. For far too long, this department's financial reporting has been nothing short of a disaster," Hegseth said in a video posted to social media. "Today that changes as it has during this administration, the era of excuses is over."

Hegseth and Caine will appear before the Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday.

Illinois no-cash bail law 'utterly manipulated' by violent offenders, Dem alderman says after cop's killing

A Chicago alderman says the state's no-cash bail law has been "utterly manipulated and abused," and is calling for changes after a felon on pretrial release allegedly killed a police officer inside a hospital.

Alphanso Talley, 27, was charged on Monday after allegedly killing 38-year-old Chicago Police Department officer John Bartholomew at Swedish Hospital on Saturday, and injuring another officer in a shooting.

Talley allegedly shot both officers around 11 a.m. at the hospital, where officials said he was taken into custody for a previous armed robbery. While he was being taken to a CT scan, prosecutors said he had a gun underneath his blanket, which he pulled out and then shot both officers.

He was wanted after allegedly robbing a Family Dollar store on Saturday morning and pistol-whipping one of their female employees, taking her wallet and keys.

Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez, a Democrat, told Fox News Digital that the SAFE-T act, the law that eliminated cash bail in Illinois, needs to be overhauled after Saturday's shooting, which was allegedly committed by someone who was on pretrial release.

"It absolutely needs to be amended because I think while the intention was good, not forcing people to sit in jail because they couldn't afford bond on minor crimes, it has been utterly manipulated and abused by dangerous violent repeat offenders who have no regard for the sanctity of human life, no regard for property, and no intention of ever following the law," Lopez said.

Prosecutors say Talley's prior gun conviction from 2021 and four aggravated robbery convictions from 2017 make him eligible for a charge of unlawful possession of a weapon by a repeat offender.

When Talley was accused of murdering Bartholomew and shooting another officer, he was out of jail on pretrial release for a previous armed robbery case.

A warrant for his arrest was issued on March 11 while he was on pretrial release for the alleged armed robbery after he had two electronic monitor violations in early March, according to court documents.

Judge John Lyke has presided over Talley's criminal cases for at least three years, according to ABC7 News, noting that he said during a December hearing that "It appears [Talley's] mind is finally developing, and he may be on the path to making better decisions."

According to those records, Talley first got an electronic monitor last year on Dec. 11, but his monitor alerted two violations within three days in early March.

Lopez said people like Talley don't deserve to get pretrial release, arguing he should have remained locked up until his trial.

"Those individuals do not deserve to enjoy any kind of sympathy from us, the law-abiding citizens of Illinois, after they commit their fourth, fifth, eighth, twelfth, seventieth crimes, because what they've already shown us is a willingness to continue the pattern of illegal criminal violent behavior," Lopez said.

Part of the issue, Lopez argues, is that judges aren't correctly using someone's criminal history when making a determination on if someone should remain in jail until their trial.

"Judges are not seeing the full breadth and scope of what's going on in someone's criminal history — or they're not allowed to use that in making their determination. And that is what is allowing these individuals who oftentimes have multiple arrests to go and get electronic monitoring and be sent home," he said.

Retired Chicago Police Chief of Detectives Eugene Roy told Fox News Digital that this incident is a glaring example showing why Illinois' no-cash bail law needs to be changed, and how the system failed Bartholomew.

"Here's a guy who's accused of a violent crime and armed robbery and he's allowed back out on the streets and then he cuts off his electronic monitoring device. And that is a deliberate act that calls for revocation of the bond," Roy said.

Talley was charged with murder, attempted murder, aggravated unlawful restraint, armed robbery, aggravated discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, aggravated battery of a peace officer, aggravated battery, escape and unlawful use of a weapon.

Illinois Democratic governor bucks teachers' unions in support for statewide classroom phone ban

Illinois Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker is clashing with the teachers' union regarding a growing movement to ban cellphones from classrooms statewide.

Earlier this month, the Illinois General Assembly passed a bill prohibiting students from using a phone or any other "wireless communication device" during classroom hours. This was an amended version of Senate Bill 2427, which was unanimously passed by the state Senate last year.

The bill must now return to the Senate for a new vote before it can head to the governor's desk. Pritzker has advocated for a ban on phones in classrooms.

"There’s real harm being done, and it’s interfering with our ability to give children the most productive educational environment possible," Pritzker said during his State of the State speech in February. "It’s time to get cellphones out of the classroom. Working together, parents and teachers in school districts like Champaign, Springfield, and Peoria prohibited cellphones in classrooms. Twenty-five states, including Florida, California, Texas and New York, have done this with bipartisan support, and it is time for Illinois to follow suit."

This support for a statewide standard put him at odds against the Illinois Federation of Teachers (IFT), the largest statewide teachers union in Illinois and a strong supporter of Democrats.

IFT Executive Vice President Cyndi Oberle-Dahm criticized the governor and the bill, claiming that schools already have the power to restrict cellphone use at the local level and that the measure will only place additional costs on the schools.

"Schools already have the authority to set cellphone policies, but what they cannot do is fund themselves or the cellphone lockers or pockets that will be required to enforce this unfunded mandate. Only the Governor can ultimately meet the state’s funding obligation," Oberle-Dahm said in a statement in February.

She insisted that Pritzker instead focus on funding other education programs such as special education and school lunches, adding that students need phones as "lifelines" in light of immigration raids.

In a comment to Fox News Digital, the IFT pointed to its original statement. Fox News Digital also reached out to Pritzker's office for comment.

As of January 2026, at least 26 states have enacted statewide policies prohibiting cellphone use during classroom instructional hours. Several other states have also either enacted limits to cellphone use in classrooms or required school districts to establish local policies on phones.

Rick Jackson, the Republican frontrunner in Georgia's race for governor, said he didn't know if there were any illegal immigrants doing landscaping for him at his mansion when pressed during the race's only debate ahead of the GOP primary next month.

"You claim to be the tough on illegal deportation, but you've got illegals working in your backyard as we speak right now," fellow Republican candidate for governor, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, argued. "Who's the real Rick Jackson?"

Jones' question directed at Jackson came during a portion of the Monday night debate where candidates got the opportunity to single out one of their opponents for a question.

Jones zeroed in on criticism that while Jackson claims to be Trump's biggest ally in the race, he has donated to the president's rivals, such as Liz Cheney and Nikki Haley, profited off staffing abortion doctors at Planned Parenthood and has hired illegal immigrants to do landscaping at his mansion.

"First of all, the real Rick Jackson has never taken one dollar from Planned Parenthood. "As far as illegals and so forth, I will absolutely make it the number one place in — Georgia will be number one for deporting criminal illegals. That's my position and that's who I am."

Jackson added that he has "done nothing but give to many pro-life nonprofits," as he continued his rebuttal. "I give more to nonprofits of crisis pregnancy centers here in Georgia than probably you've ever given in your entire life," Jackson said of Jones.

But Jones didn't let go of the illegal alien question.

"So, you don't have any illegals working for you right now?" Jones pressed.

"I don't know," Jackson replied incredulously. "It's just a yes or no answer. I asked him if he has illegals working for him right now. He said he did, and then he said he didn't, so," Jones shot back before the moderators moved on.

Ahead of Monday evening's election, the New York Post reported on legal documents from a worker's compensation suit that Jackson was involved in, which reportedly indicated the billionaire businessman had "maintained a long-standing workforce of multiple laborers performing landscaping and property maintenance work for decades, including individuals without work authorization who nonetheless performed continuous employment for the employer."

The case, brought against Jackson Investment Group, LLC, and JIG Real Estate, LLC, which is owned by the former firm, reportedly suggested Jackson — the companies' CEO — had multiple individuals without proper worker verification documents doing his landscaping.

The documents also showed Jackson said in a deposition that he was unaware that his hires were undocumented immigrants, but he also admitted not vetting new hires using mandatory I-9 verification forms used to ensure people are eligible to work, according to the New York Post.

In other parts of the deposition, Jackson reportedly echoed what he said Monday night, that he was not directly involved with the hiring of workers and only engaged with the landscaping superintendent.

"I know that sounds confusing," Jackson reportedly explained in his deposition. "But most of our — if we have other employees, we usually hire them through JIG or another entity. I’m talking about if JIG has employees, we hire them through another entity. I’m not sure that we have any direct employees, from a payroll standpoint, out of JIG Real Estate."

Jackson, meanwhile, has said if elected he is committed to going after criminal illegal aliens, adding he "doesn't care if you're Muslim or Mongolian, you don't have the right to force your culture on our country" in a recent campaign advertisement that said "criminal illegals" will end up either "deported or departed" under his leadership.

When asked about the exchange between Jones and Jackson during Monday night's debate, Jackson's campaign told Fox News Digital that, "it's just like a corrupt politician to attack Rick over someone hired by his landscaper."

"Rick would never knowingly hire someone in the country illegally and, as governor, he’ll make Georgia No. 1 in criminal illegal deportations," the campaign spokesperson added. "The takeaway from this debate is the universal agreement that Burt Jones has used his office corruptly to enrich himself and attack his political opponents."

The primary election between Jones, Jackson, Attorney General Chris Carr, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and others will take place on May 19.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — A South Korean appeals court on Wednesday sentenced ousted President Yoon Suk Yeol to seven years in prison for resisting arrest and bypassing a legitimate Cabinet meeting before his brief imposition of martial law in December 2024.

The conviction for obstruction of justice and other charges comes on top of a life sentence he has already received on rebellion charges stemming from his baffling authoritarian push, which triggered the most serious crisis for the country’s democracy in decades.

Judge Yoon Sung-sik of the Seoul High Court said the conservative former president sidestepped a legally mandated full Cabinet meeting before declaring martial law, falsified documents to conceal the lapse and deployed security officials "like a private army" to resist law enforcement efforts to arrest him in the weeks following his impeachment. Former President Yoon stood quietly as the verdict was delivered and made no comment.

Yoo Jeong-hwa, one of Yoon’s lawyers, called the verdict "very disappointing" and said the legal team would appeal to the Supreme Court. Yoon has also appealed his life sentence.

Yoon was suspended from office on Dec. 14, 2024, after being impeached by the liberal-led legislature and was formally removed by the Constitutional Court in April 2025.

Following his suspension from office, he refused to comply with a Seoul court's warrant to detain him for questioning, setting up a standoff in which dozens of investigators arrived at the presidential residence in early January 2025 but were blocked by presidential security forces and vehicle barricades. He was detained later that month, released by another court in March, and was then re-arrested in July.

He remained in custody after that as a series of criminal trials, which are continuing, began.

Wednesday’s ruling came a day after the same court increased to four years the sentence of Yoon’s wife, Kim Keon Hee, for charges including accepting luxury gifts from the Unification Church, which sought political favors from Yoon’s government, and involvement in a stock price manipulation scheme.

Prosecutors in a separate trial last week also requested a 30-year prison term for Yoon over allegations that he deliberately tried to escalate tensions with North Korea in 2024 by ordering drone flights over Pyongyang as he sought to create justifiable conditions for martial law at home.

Man accused of repeatedly trespassing at CIA headquarters in Virginia

A Texas man was arrested after repeatedly trying to breach CIA headquarters over the course of four days, telling officers he believed he was "intended" to be there despite multiple warnings to stay away.

Federal authorities charged Connor Lynn Mayo with criminal trespass after investigators say he drove up to the CIA’s main gate in Langley, Virginia, multiple times between April 24 and 27, according to court documents obtained by FOX5 DC.

Mayo most recently approached the facility around 9:40 a.m. Monday, according to court records, driving past posted warning signs and visitor detours in a white Hyundai Elantra with Texas plates.

As a CIA police officer questioned Mayo, he was unable to provide suitable identification and tried to speed away, WUSA9 reported, citing the charging documents. Mayo was eventually stopped when the officer used a diversionary tactic.

After running Mayo’s license plate, CIA police said they recognized him as the same individual they believed was involved in two earlier incidents.

On April 24, Mayo allegedly drove up to the main entrance and was ordered to leave. Two days later, authorities say he returned and "piggy-backed" behind an authorized vehicle to slip past a security barrier. Officers issued him a citation at the time and warned him he would be arrested if he came back.

Despite the warning, Mayo returned Monday, leading to his arrest.

Investigators said Mayo also told officers he had visited the Pentagon the day before and expressed a desire to be taken into custody.

Authorities have not indicated a motive for the repeated attempts. The investigation remains ongoing.

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero was forced to exit Tuesday’s game against the Cleveland Guardians after a foul tip struck him in the face.

Caminero was making his first at-bat in the game when he fouled a pitch from Guardians pitcher Tanner Bibee off the plate. The ball bounced off the plate and hit him in the right jaw. He immediately fell to the ground.

"He's in really good spirits and I would expect him to be in the lineup tomorrow," Cash said, via MLB.com. "That ball really came off the plate hard and I'm just glad that he's in a pretty good spot right now."

A popular Italian island is taking new steps to improve the tourist experience by cracking down on aggressive sales tactics.

Capri, a luxury destination off the coast of Naples, has introduced a ban on persistent street solicitation, targeting restaurant hosts, tour operators and vendors who approach visitors with repeated or intrusive pitches, U.K. news outlet The Independent reported.

Under the new rule, violators can face fines ranging from about $30 to $585.

US UPDATES TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR CARIBBEAN COUNTRY, CITES CRIME AND TERRORISM CONCERNS

The move comes as Capri continues to grapple with overtourism with as many as 50,000 visitors arriving on peak days, according to Italy’s national hotel association.

The island is implementing other changes to combat overtourism, as well.

Starting in May, officials are introducing limits on organized tour groups, capping them at 40 people, the association noted.

Tour guides are no longer allowed to use oversized markers such as umbrellas or flags to lead groups — a move aimed at reducing congestion in busy areas, according to Euronews.

The head of Capri’s local business association, Luciano Bersani, said the new rules are a "first step" toward easing congestion during the busiest times of day.

"[The association] favorably welcomes the new regulation on tourist groups and guides. As far back as the 1960s, local ordinances banned disruptive behavior such as loud radios, overnight stays in public areas and picnicking on lawns, Time Out reported.

Local business groups have expressed support for the latest restrictions.

The changes are expected to ease congestion in heavily trafficked areas such as the main square and marina, while improving the overall experience for both visitors and residents, Euronews said.

A federal judge in Arizona blocked President Donald Trump's administration from gaining access to the state's voter rolls on Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge Susan Brnovich, a Trump appointee, dismissed a lawsuit by the Justice Department that sought access to the documents. Brnovich stated that the voter rolls are "not a document subject to request by the Attorney General," and dismissed the lawsuit with prejudice.

The DOJ's lawsuit had targeted Arizona Attorney General Adrian Fontes, demanding that he turn over the voter data.

"This moment is a win for voter privacy," Fontes said in a statement. "I will never comply with illegal requests that put Arizona voters in harms way."

Tuesday's ruling came the same week that the North Carolina State Board of Elections identified approximately 34,000 dead people on the state's voter rolls following a comprehensive comparison with federal data.

Earlier this month, the NCSBE submitted over 7.3 million voter records to the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database as part of an initiative to strengthen the accuracy and integrity of the state's voter registration list. The NCSBE clarified that the identification of deceased individuals on the state's voter rolls does not necessarily indicate illegal votes were cast.

"While we expected to find some cases, this is higher than we anticipated," Sam Hayes, the executive director of the State Board of Elections, said in a statement.

Ed. note: Happy Lee Elia Rant Day. Each year, here at OutKick, we honor one of the greatest rants in Major League Baseball history.

While baseball nerds are busy playing with their analytics, those of us who miss balls to the wall baseball are reminded today that it's been 43 years since Chicago Cubs' Lee Elia let loose with one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, managerial rants in the history of sports.

It wasn't just any rant. This one was LOADED with profanity to the point where it's easy to lose track of the f-bombs that Elia dropped into sports reporter Les Grobstein's mic after a 4-3 April 29, 1983 Friday afternoon loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The announced attendance that day at Wrigley was just 9,391.

The Cubs were 5-14, Elia was an old salty dog in his mid-40s -- Lee passed away on July 9, 2025; he was 87 -- who'd been through some baseball wars. He hit his breaking point. It was time to vent. Cubs fans were all over him, and he was tired of these lazy, out-of-work bleacher bums ripping his team.

As the great poet Fred Durst went on to say 16 years later, "How many people here ever woke up one morning and just decided it wasn't one of those days and you're gonna break some s--t?"

"Well, this is one of them days, yooooo."

Well said, Fred.

Happy anniversary, Lee. Let it fly!

"F--k those f--kin' fans who come out here and say they're Cub fans that are supposed to be behind you rippin' every f--kin' thing you do. I'll tell you one f--kin' thing, I hope we get f--kin' hotter than s--t, just to stuff it up them 3,000 f--kin' people that show up every f--kin' day, because if they're the real Chicago f--kin' fans, they can kiss my f--kin' ass right downtown and PRINT IT.

"They're really, really behind you around here... my f--kin' ass. What the f--k am I supposed to do, go out there and let my f--kin' players get destroyed every day and be quiet about it? A f--kin' playground for the c--ksuckers. Rip them motherf--kers. Rip them f--kin' c--ksuckers like the f--kin' players. we got guys bustin' their f--kin' ass, and them f--kin' people boo. And that's the Cubs? My players get around here. I haven't seen it this f--kin' year. Everybody associated with this organization have been winners their whole f--kin' life. Everybody. And the credit is not given in that respect.

"Alright, they don't show because we're 5 and 14... and unfortunately, that's the criteria of them dumb 15 motherf--kin' percent that come out to day baseball. The other 85 percent are earning a living. I tell you, it'll take more than a 5 and 12 or 5 and 14 to destroy the makeup of this club. I guarantee you that. There's some f--kin' pros out there that wanna win. But you're stuck in a f--kin' stigma of the f--kin' Dodgers and the Phillies and the Cardinals and all that cheap s--t. It's unbelievable. It really is. It's a disheartening f--kin' situation that we're in right now. Anybody who was associated with the Cub organization four or five years ago that came back and sees the multitude of progress that's been made will understand that if they're baseball people, that 5 and 14 doesn't negate all that work. We got 143 f--kin' games left.

What I'm tryin' to say is don't rip them f--kin' guys out there. Rip me. If you wanna rip somebody, rip my f--kin' ass. But don't rip them f--kin' guys 'cause they're givin' everything they can give. And right now they're tryin' to do more than God gave 'em, and that's why we make the simple mistakes. That's exactly why."

The Cubs went 66-77 after the rant to finish the season at 71-91. Lee was fired by the Cubs on August 22, 1983.

The story goes that Grobstein, who died in 2022, was one of the only Cubs reporters to use a tape player to record press conferences and interviews. He was in the right place at the right time and came away with some of the greatest f--kin' audio in sports history that, frankly, should reside in a special exhibit in the writers' wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

There isn't a dad out there who visits the HOF who doesn't want to sit down with his teenage son or daughter to enjoy a piece of baseball history.

So today, on Lee Elia Day, sit back, relax and hit play.

On Sunday night, she sparked a different kind of debate – parenting.

Williams made a mention on social media about her daughter crying.

"I told my daughter to go to bed. She did not, therefore, she missed out on her sleep over. She cried. But what she did not know is I cried harder. I hate when she cries," she wrote on X. "Discipline sucks. But sometimes it’s important."

The post sparked a conversation about disciplining children.

In her tennis career, Williams won 23 Grand Slam titles in singles and 14 more doubles titles. She was ranked No. 1 in the WTA rankings for 319 weeks, won four Olympic gold medals and was voted Associated Press Athlete of the Year five times.

She has two children with her husband, billionaire Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian – both daughters. Williams and Ohanian married in 2017.

Williams has been rumored to be making a comeback after she re-entered the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s testing protocol last year.

Though she denied she was seeking a return to professional tennis, she was seen in March hitting the ball with Alycia Parks.
