Tiger Woods has won the AT&T National, making a 20-foot birdie on the 16th and closing with a 3-under 67 to hold off Hunter Mahan for a one-shot victory at Congressional.

Woods won for the third time this year, living up to his hopes of being a "greedy host" at his own tournament.

He goes to the top of the PGA Tour money list and the FedEx Cup standings for the first time this year. Woods has won all three tournaments this year in his final start before a major, with the British Open next.

President Barack Obama says he doesn't like his golf swing and the ball never goes where he wants.

Obama told Russian state-run Rossiya TV and ITAR-TASS news agency that he's been working on his golf game lately. However, he disclosed in the interview that he hasn't had much success.

The president, who has been playing golf most weekends with aides, says he thinks he should be good at the game. Yet his shots never seem to go straight.

Eunjung Yi (IHN'-juhng E) blew a six-stroke lead then hit a 10-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to defeat Morgan Pressel and capture her first LPGA victory Sunday in what might be the final Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic.

The 21-year-old Yi began the day with a four-shot lead. She birded two of the first three holes to go up six shots.

Pressel, chasing her third career victory, pulled even by holing a wedge shot for eagle on the par-5 17th hole.

Martin Kaymer of Germany beat Lee Westwood in the first hole of a sudden-death playoff Sunday to win the French Open.

The 2007 Rookie of the Year on the European Tour kept his composure in a dramatic finish to clinch his third title after having missed chances on the last few holes.

Kaymer sank a putt from 18 feet on the 18th to edge Ryder Cup star Westwood, who sent his approach shot into the water.
