Nel corso della ricerca è stata monitorata l’attività di gioco di nove calciatori età 14,1±0,6 anni, altezza173,2 ± 3,8 cm e massa corporea pari a 62,0 ± 7,6kg) durante sette gare ufficiali. Utilizzando la tecnologia "GPS" è emerso che  il giovane calciatore ricopre mediamente, durante 60'  di gioco, una distanza  di 6499,3 ± 282,9m.
