Firstly, The Hungry Hog is a non halal restaurant because they got pasta, burgers and rice which is only serve with pork meat!. I would like to say thanks to Mr. Kian Fai because invite me to eat at The Hungry Hog. He tell me that got one blogger write about the "3 little pig" and the taste AWESOME!. Then, I say come let go..

Menu: 3 Little Pigs with extra Bacon (RM 15.90 + RM 1.00), serve with fries and salad, and the taste of the pork patty is awesome. I use to eat Ninja Joe and the taste of the pork is very heavy, this 3 Little Pigs patty marinated with some special ingredient and the taste is very different too!.- Kian Fai

Do you know what is this?. This bacon is very nice!. :P

Menu: i-Pork (RM 14.90), serve with fries and salad. I order this because the name is awesome! LOL, maybe you got I-Phone but I got I-Pork. Imba, right?. Any way, can you see the green color sauce over there?. First sight and first time put inside my mouth, I thought it were Kaya Cream Sauce because the taste a bit sweet.

Our Drinks, Chinese Tea (RM 1.00) and Passion Fruit Soda (RM 4.90).

Jaya 33 is located along the busy road of Jalan Semangat, Seksyen 13. This outlet is nicely located at the front portion of the building and can be easily visible from both directions of the road. It is a nicely landscaped outlet and equipped with free Wi-Fi access, retractable roof canopy and mist fan, water fountain and etc.

A new and different looking for Gmail is now landing in users' inboxes.
The Gmail redesign, news of which leaked a couple weeks ago, is rolling out now, according to the Official Gmail Blog. Over the next few days, a "Switch to the new look" link will appear in the bottom-right corner of Gmail. All users will get the redesign soon after, regardless of whether they click the link.

Streamlined conversations
Conversation view has been completely redesigned to help you read through your email threads. You’ll now see profiles pictures for your contacts, so it’s easier to keep track of who said what. We also stripped out as much as possible so you can focus on communicating with your friends and colleagues.

Elastic density
We know that you use Gmail from a variety of screen sizes and devices, so now the spacing between elements on the screen will automatically change based on the kind of display you’re using. If you prefer a denser view all the time, you can change your density manually in the Settings menu.

New HD themes
Themes have been completely rebuilt to enable us to bring you a new set of beautiful high resolution themes with imagery provided by iStockphoto. We've updated most of the old favorites as well and your theme will be automatically carried over to the new look. Go to the Settings menu to take another look at themes and choose the one that fits you best.

Smarter navigation
The navigation panel on the left keeps your labels and chat contacts in view at all times. It's also more customizable: you can resize the labels and chat areas if you want to see more, or hide the chat area entirely via the chat icon in the lower left. You can also use the arrow keys to navigate around the interface.

Better search
Click the dropdown in the search box to see a new advanced search panel, which makes it easier and faster to find exactly what you're looking for. You can use the same panel to create a filter from any search in just a few clicks.

Serious True: Top 10 Reasons Why Good Employees Quit?

According to the US Department of Labor and Statistics, turnover can cost an organization 33% of an employee’s total compensation including both salary and benefits. But the impact is not only financial it also affects employee morale. Therefore, it would be prudent for hiring managers to focus on reducing turnover rates but in order to do that they must first understand the reasons why employees quit.

There have been many studies and articles written on why good employees leave their current positions. As a veteran search consultant, I have heard an infinite number of reasons first hand. Over the years, I have identified and compiled a list of what I feel are the “Top Ten” reasons why good employees quit:

1) The job was not as expected. All too often the job changes from the original description and what was promised during the interviewing stages. It becomes painfully clear to the new hire that their new company played the bait and switch game which ultimately leads to mistrust. The new hire is now thinking, “What else are they lying about?”

2) Work/Life imbalance. There are times when management demands that one person do the jobs of two or more people. This is especially true when a company downsizes or restructures resulting in longer hours and possible weekend work. Employees are often forced to choose between a personal life and a career.

3) Mismatch between job and new hire. No matter how much you love the candidate, don’t hire them unless they are truly qualified for the job and they mesh with your company culture. Too many times, I’ve seen hiring managers try to fit a square peg into a round hole especially when it comes to a sales position.

4) Management freezes raises and promotions. Money isn’t usually the first reason why people leave an organization but it does rank especially when an employee can find a job earning 20-25% more somewhere else. Make sure your wages are competitive and your benefits package is attractive. Resources like www.salary.com can provide accurate and appropriate information.

5) Feeling undervalued. It’s human nature to want to be recognized and praised for a job well done. And in business, recognizing employees is not simply a nice thing to do but an effective way to communicate your appreciation for their efforts and successes while also reinforcing those actions and behaviors that make a difference in your organization.

6) Lack of decision-making power. Too many managers micromanage down to the finest detail. Empower your employees and allow them the freedom make suggestions and decisions. I realize that Empowerment is a ‘catch-all’ term for many ideas on employee authority and responsibility; but as a broad definition it means giving employees latitude to do their jobs and placing trust in them.

7) Too little coaching & feedback. Many managers have no clue on how to help employees improve their performance. In addition, many managers put off giving feedback to employees even though they instinctively know that giving and getting honest feedback is essential for growth and in building successful teams and organizations. Your role as a manager is to help your people find the right behavior, not just tell them what to do.

8) Management lacks people skills. Remember that many managers were promoted because they did their first job well, but that doesn’t mean they know how to lead others. People skills can be learned and developed but it really helps if a manager has the natural ability to get along with people and motivate them.

9) Too few growth opportunities. One of the most common reasons employees express for leaving their jobs is lack of challenge and potential for career growth. The most successful employers find ways to help employees develop new skills and responsibilities in their current positions.

10) Loss of faith and confidence in corporate leaders. With employees being asked to do more and more, they see less evidence that they will share in the fruits of their successes. More often than not, when revenues and profits are up, employers are still thinking competitive wages but employees are thinking bonuses, stock options and creative development opportunities.

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new students to stand and…:
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes..
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn’t. How is this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can’t answer, can you? Let’s start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From….God…
Prof: That’s right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student: Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?

(Student does not answer.)

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don’t they?
Student: Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?

(Student has no answer.)

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son…Have you ever seen God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn’t exist.
What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student: No sir. There isn’t.

(The lecture the after becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat..
But we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn’t darkness?
Student : You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light…..But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought.. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is
not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)
Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor’s brain?

(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain,sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you’ll have to take them on faith, son.

2 Years old girl got rolled over by a truck no helping hand was given in china.

This video is came from a news program in china.
A little girl got rolled by a truck, people just walked by and ignored that girl and had another truck also rolled over her.

meanwhile , many people passed by but they did nothing .

A few minutes passed , another van crushed the girl , again. The little girl was almost die at the moment, she shaked her tiny hands , appeared that she was asking for help .

But those cruel passerby still did nothing and have gone . There were also a few cars passed by and it was very dangerous .

As we have counted , there were 20 people passed by within 9 minutes and no one helped , not even the mother with kid.Some drivers stopped and checked out what's going on , but there was still no one would help the little girl , not even take out their phone and call the police .

They just let the little girl lay on the floor and groaned in pain , let those car passed her by .

At last , it was the one bag ladies who helped , she carried the little girl from the middle of the road to the roadside .

When the girl was being carried , we can see that her bones were all broken and her body could no longer support her weight.

Let me tell you why no one helped the kid?. It is because there are too many of these scams in China. When you actually go up and help the kid or elderlies, their "parents" or "family members" will come out and say that you are the one who pushed them or did whatever and blame it on you. Then you get your ass sued and a lot of bullshit comes along. Rest in Peace girl.

A TOUCHING STORY! :')

"A hug can save a life!" - Dr Jeff Mullan

Twin girls, Brielle and Kyrie, were born 12 weeks ahead of their due date. Needing intensive care, they were placed in separate incubators.

Kyrie began to gain weight and her health stabilized. But Brielle, born only 2 lbs, had trouble breathing, heart problems and other complications. She was not expected to live.

Their nurse did everything she could to make Brielle's health better, but nothing she did was helping her. With nothing else to do, their nurse went against hospital policy and decided to place both babies in the same incubator.

She left the twin girls to sleep and when when she returned she found a sight she could not believe. She called all the nurses and doctors and this is what they saw (refer to the picture above).

As Brielle got closer to her sister, Kyrie put her small little arm around her, as if to hug and support her sister. From that moment on, Brielle’s breathing and heart rate stabilized and her health became normal.

From then on, they decided to keep both babies together, because when they were together they kept each other alive.

Somewhere in Milaor, Camarines Sur, there lived a fourth grader boy who would follow this route to school everyday: He has to cross the rugged plains and cross the dangerous highway where vehicles are recklessly driving to and from.

Once past this highway, the boy would take a short cut, passing by the Church every morning just to say Hi to God, and faithfully say his, "Magandang umaga po" in Bicol dialect. He was faithfully being watched by a Priest who was happy to find innocence so uplifting in the morning,

"Kamusta, Andoy? Papasok ka na?"

"Opo padre ... "he would flash his innocent grin, the priest would be touched. He was so concerned that one day he talked to Andoy.

"From school...", he advised "Do not cross the highway, you can pass through the Church and I can accompany you to the other side of the road...that way I can see that you are home safe...."

"Thank you father ... "

"Why don't you go home ... why do you stay in this church right after school?"

"I just want to say 'Hi' to my friend, God," and the priest would leave the boy to spend time beside the altar, talking to himself, but the priest was hiding behind the altar to listen to what this boy has to say to his heavenly FATHER.

"You know my math exam was pretty bad today, but I did not cheat although my seatmate is bullying me for notes... I ate one cracker and drank my water, Itay had a bad season and all I can eat is this cracker.

Thank you for this! I saw a poor kitten who was hungry and I know how he feels so I gave my last cracker to him ... funny but I am not that hungry.

Look, this is my last pair of slippers ...I may have to walk barefoot next week, you see this is about to be broken... but it is okay....at least I am still going to school.... Some say we will have a hard season this month, some of my classmates have already stopped going to school .... please help them get to school again, please God?

....Oh, you know, Inay hit me again, it is painful, but I know this pain will pass away, at least I still have a mother.... God, you want to see my bruises? I know you can heal them.... Here... here and .... oh ...blood ....I guess you knew about this one huh? Please don't be mad at Inay, she is just tired and she worries for the food in our table and my schooling that is why she hits us....

Oh, I think I am in love ... there's this pretty girl in my class, her name is Anita ... do you think she will like me? Anyway, at least I know you will always like me, I don't have to be anybody just to please you, you are my very best friend! Hey your birthday is two days from now!!!.

Aren't you excited? I am! Wait till you see, I have a gift for you . but it is a surprise! I hope you will like it! Oooops, I have to go ..." then he stood up and calls out, "Padre, padre, I am finished talking to my friend .... you can accompany me to the other side of the road now"

This routine happens everyday. Andoy never fails. Father Agaton shares this every Sunday to the people in his church because he has not seen a very pure faith and trust in God, a very positive look at negative situations.

One Christmas day, Father Agaton was sick so he could not make it in the Church, he was sent to the hospital. The Church was left to 4 manangs who would chant the rosary in 1000 miles per hour, would not smile and would always find fault in what you do, they were also very well versed in cursing if you irritate them!

They were kneeling, saying their kilometric rosary when Andoy, coming from his Christmas party,playfully dashed in.

"Hello God! I ......"

"P----!! (a curse) bata ka!! Alam mo nang may nagdadasal!! Alis!!"

Poor Andoy was so terrified, "Where's Father Agaton? He is supposed to help me cross the street ... and to be able to cross the street I will have to pass by the back door of this church .not only that, I have to greet Jesus. It is His birthday, I have a gift right here....

" Just as he was about to get the gift out of his shirt, the manang pulled his shirt and threw him out of the church. "Susmaryosep!!! (does the sign of the cross fervently) Alis kang bata ka, kung hindi matatamaan ka!!!

So the boy had no choice but to cross the dangerous side of the road in front of the church. He crossed. A fast moving bus came in.

There was a blind curve. The boy was protecting his gift inside his shirt, so he was not looking. There was so little time. Andoy died on the spot. A lot of people crowded the poor boy, the body of a lifeless young boy ...

Suddenly, out of nowhere a tall man in a pure white shirt and pants, a face so mild and gentle, but with eyes full of tears... He came and carried the boy in His arms. He was crying. Curious bystanders nudged the man in white, and asked,
"Excuse me sir, are you related to this child?
Do you know this child?"

The man in white, His face mourning and in agony, looked up and answered,

"He was my best friend . " was all he said. He took the badly wrapped gift in the bloody chest of the lifeless boy, and placed it near His heart.
He stood up and carried the boy away and they both disappeared in sight.
The crowd was curious ...

On Christmas Eve, Father Agaton learned of the shocking news. He visited the house, and wanted to verify about the man in white. He consulted the parents of Andoy.

"How did you know that your son died?"

"A man in white brought him here." sobbed the mother. "What did he say?"

The father answered, "He did not say anything. He was mourning. We do not know him and yet he was very lonely about our son's death, as if he knew our son very well. But there was something peaceful and unexplainable about him.

He gave me my son, and then he smiled peacefully. He brushed my son's hair away from his face and kissed him on his forehead, then he whispered something..."

"What did he say?"

"He said to my boy..." the father began, "Thank you for the gift .... I will see you soon ... you will be with me..." and the father of the boy continued, "and you know for a while, it felt so wonderful ...

I cried, but I do not know why....all I know is I cried tears of joy .... I could not explain it, Father, but when that man left, something peaceful came over me, I felt a deep sense of love inside ...

I could not explain the joy in my heart, I knew my boy is in heaven now but...tell me, Father, who is this man that my son talks to everyday in your church, you should know because you are always there ... except at the time of his death ......

"Father Agaton suddenly felt the tears welling in his eyes, with

trembling knees, he murmurred, " ...

He was talking to no one ......but .. GOD...."

Malaysia News: Customs confirms existence of RM24mil ring

The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) has confirmed the existence of a RM24 million diamond ring which the prime minister's wife, Rosmah Mansor, was said to have purchased.

However, in a written reply to Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng in Parliament today, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz clarified that the ring was not sold after it was brought into the country.

“The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has referred the matter to the JKDM and JKDM has confirmed that there was no such purchase of the ring.

“After a few days, the ring was returned to the company which owns it," he said.

In July, former PKR central committee member Badrul Hisham Shaharin had claimed that a ring, 'Natural Fancy Gray Cushion Cut Diamond' priced at RM24,458,400 had been flown in via the KL international Airport.

Producing a Customs Department information system printout, he said that the item was purchased through fine jewellery company Jacob & Co based in New York and brought into Malaysia by one Jeremy Beh Sin Tee.

He added that the document showed Rosmah's name in the receiver's column of the Customs form, which he claimed to be evidence implicating her in the purchase.

Premier Najib Abdul Razak and wife Rosmah Mansor's applications to set aside the subpoenas served on them in the Anwar Ibrahim sodomy trial will be heard tomorrow as the trial resumes this week.

The trial is scheduled to continue for the whole week and the duo have been called to take the stand as defence witnesses.

It is learnt that after Anwar had filed an affidavit in reply to their application on Wednesday, Najib (left) had filed in his reply before the end of last week. Rosmah, was believed not to have responded.

Anwar had provided separate affidavits in replies to Najib and to Rosmah's applications and affidavits, stating why they should be called to court to clarify several matters.

The PKR de-facto leader who is facing the second sodomy charge since 1998, claimed that more may have transpired in the discussion between Najib and complainant, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, than what has been made known.

"Najib had initially denied meeting Saiful and then he retracted, saying Saiful had asked for a scholarship. Following this, the lawyers want to get a further explanation of this," said Anwar in his affidavit, adding that both Najib and Rosmah refused to answer his lawyer's questions when they came in for the interview.

Although the contents of Najib's reply remains unknown, its believed its contents to be merely asserting that the premier had nothing of material worth to the case, that would warrant him testifying.

It is not immediately known whether Anwar will reply to the latest affidavit by Najib.

The hearing of the application is fixed for tomorrow afternoon at 2.15pm.

Anwar (right) has asserted that Najib and Rosmah were offered by the prosecution as witnesses, meaning the police had recorded their statements regarding the case.

As it is not known what was recorded from the two, the subpoenas served on them were to fill in the blanks as both had denied involvement in any conspiracy with regards to the latest sodomy charge against Anwar.

In Sodomy I in 1998, A subpoena was issued by the defence on former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad Mahathir who was not offered as a witness by the prosecution. However it was set aside.

Nearing end?

As Parliament session also begins tomorrow it remains to be seen whether the hearing of Anwar's defence could end this week.

There are about four or five witnesses slated to testify besides Najib and Rosmah.

Besides the two, others called to testify as defence witnesses included former Inspector General of Police Musa Hassan , former Malacca police chief Mohd Rodwan Mohd Yusof who was then Najib's aide de camp in 2008, and Chemistry Department director-general Lim Kong Boon.

All three witnesses had played their part in sodomy I as Musa was the investigating officer and Rodwan had assisted Musa (right). Lim was the chemist who testified in the trial but his evidence was rejected by the court.

Another witness, a Dutchman Dr Thomas Hoogland, who operated on Anwar upon his release from prison in 2004, at his clinic in Munich, Germany, is also slated to testify for the defence on Thursday.

Hoogland's testimony is fixed on Oct 6, as the prosecution will bring in their experts to observe it on that day. The defence also indicated there could be another witness.

Anwar is charged with sodomising Saiful at the Desa Damansara condominium between 3.01pm and 4.30pm on June 26, 2008.

There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms or bathroom or bedrooms.

It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it.

So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of Mirror we are looking at?

CONDUCT THIS SIMPLE TEST:

Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror.

However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! (There may be someone seeing you from the other side). So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything. It is simple to do.

This is a really good thing to do. The reason there is a gap on a real mirror, is because the silver is on the back of the mirror UNDER the glass.

Whereas with a two-way mirror, the silver is on the surface. Keep it in mind! Make sure and check every time you enter in hotel rooms.

Two injured in shopping mall blast in Subang

SUBANG JAYA: Two people were injured while more than 300 people rescued and evacuated when an explosion occurred inside the Starbucks outlet at the Empire Subang here early Wednesday.

Four people, who were trapped in the lower ground floor of the shopping complex that also houses a boutique hotel, were rescued by firemen from the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Department.

The 3.45am gas tank explosion that happened at the outlet located on the lower ground floor also damaged two other floors of the complex.

The injured, a Nepali security guard and a local who sustained cuts caused by falling shattered glass, were sent to the hospital for treatment.

Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue department operations chief Harry said firemen from subang Jaya were assisted by their colleagues from PJ and surrounding areas in evacuating the hotel guests numbering more than 300 people.

PETALING JAYA: In his usual acerbic style, rapper Wee Meng Chee (better known as Namewee) has come out guns a-blazing against Utusan Malaysia for their attacks on him.

Through a YouTube video entitled “Namewee F–k Utusan!!!”, the Nasi Lemak 2.0 director slammed the Umno-owned newspaper for claiming that he had offended the Malays.

“(The role of the) newspaper is to report, report! You are judging people. You don’t write to shiok sendiri (please yourself).”

“That kind of newspaper runs down Malaysians, runs down the people… You have a pen, you have a keyboard and you’re considered a reporter,” he belted out sarcastically in Malay, along with a series of expletives.

“Trash newspaper! Scum of society! Trash writer!” he added.

Wee was responding to an article entitled “Bukan Nasi Lemak 2.0, soalnya Namewee” (It’s not Nasi Lemak 2.0, the question is Namewee) by Utusan feature writer Fauziah Arof.

Fauziah stressed that she would not watch Wee’s Sept 8-released movie even if she was given free tickets.

In several volleys against the rapper, she claimed that he had offended Malaysians, especially the country’s “Malays and Muslims”.

The newspaper said it was strange for Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nazri Abdul Aziz to receive Wee without taking action against him.

Fauziah also claimed that the rapper was given “too much face” and rubbished Wee’s support of the 1Malaysia concept.

“Who is this Namewee, and what is so special about him?” she asked, adding that she had no problems with local films, and was willing to spend money to watch “Malay films”.

In his nearly three-minute-long video, Wee did not appear to be amused with Fauziah’s words.

Do you understand my lyrics?

He said the least the Utusan writer could have done was to watch his movie before making her comments.

“You think all the other newspapers are stupid? If it wasn’t good, they (would) write that it wasn’t… they can write (that) because they have gone to watch the movie!”

“What about you? Have you done your research?” he asked, and offered to buy the Utusan writer two tickets to watch his movie.

Wee also asked if the newspaper understood what his songs meant, and attacked it for claiming that he was a racist.

“Do you understand what my songs are about? Do you understand (what) my lyrics (mean)? … I told people not to be racist … to work properly,” he said.

“Where is your certificate? Is it from the drain? If you don’t know what it means to be a reporter, go back to school. Tell your boss, you and all your friends to go back to school!”

Utusan Malaysia’s salvo against Wee was one of many attacks levelled against the rapper in recent weeks.

A few weeks ago, protesters in Ipoh demanded a boycott of Nasi Lemak 2.0, linking it to the recent Bersih 2.0 (Coalition for Free and Fair Elections) demonstrations.

Umno-friendly bloggers have also been critical of the rapper, with some threatening physical violence against him should he allowed to meet Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

A TRUE STORY - VERY SHOCKING

This is a real story of a young college girl who passed away last month in
Shah Alam.

Her name was Priya. She was hit by a truck.

She was working in a call center. She had a boy friend named Shankar.

Both of them were true lovers. They always talked on the phone.

You would never find her without handphone. In fact she also changed her
cell connection from Maxis to Digi , so that both of them can be on the
same network, and save on the cost. She used to spend half of the day
talking with shankar. Priya's family knew about their relationship. .
Shankar was very close to Priya's family as well. (Just imagine their love)

Before she passed away she always told her friends 'If I pass away please
burn me with my handphone she also said the same thing to her parents.

After her death, people cloud'nt carry her body, A lot of them tried to do
so,but still can't. Everybody had tried to carry the body, the results were
the same.

Eventually, they called a person known to one of their neighbours, who can
speak with the soul of dead person and who was a friend of her father.
He took a stick and started speaking to himself slowly..

After a few minutes, he said 'this girl misses something here.' Then her
friends told that person about her intentions to burn her with her phone.

He then opened the grave box and place her phone and sim card inside the
casket. After that they tried to carry the body. It was then moved easily
and they then carried her into the van.

All of us were shocked. Priya's parents did not inform Shankar that Priya
had passed away..

After 2 weeks Shankar called Priya's mom.....

Shankar :.....'Aunty, I'm coming home today.. Cook something nice for me.

Don't tell Priya that I'm coming home today, I wanna surprise her.'

Her mother replied..... 'You come home first, I wanna tell you something
very important.'

After he came, they told him the truth about Priya.

Shankar thinks that they were playing a fool. He was laughing and said
'don't try to fool me - tell Priya to come out, i have a gift for her.

Please stop this nonsense'.

Then they show him the original death certificate to him.
They gave him proof to make him believe. (Shankar started to sweat) He
said... 'Its not true.. We spoke yesterday.. She still calls me.

Shankar was shaking.

Suddenly, Shankar's phone rang.. 'see this is from Priya, see this....' he
showed the phone to priya's family. all of them told him to answer. he
talked using the loudspeaker mode..

All of them heard his conversation.

Loud and clear, no cross lines, no humming.
It is the actual voice of Priya & there is no way others could use her sim
card since it is nailed inside the grave box

They were so shocked and asked for the same person's
(who can speak with the soul of dead person) help again. He brought his
master to solve this matter.

He & his master worked for 5 hours.

Then they discovered one thing which really shocked them....

Serious Horror Movie: The Evil Twin (2007)

The first of the summer 2007 wave of Korean horror films to hit DVD is “The Evil Twin”, marking the directorial debut of Kim Ji Hwan. Thankfully, for those fans who have understandably grown somewhat disillusioned with the genre of late, tired of directors’ reluctance to stray from the confines of the done to death ‘teens menaced by vengeful female ghost’ formula, the film does offer something at least a little different in the form of a historical setting, with the action taking place in a rural village during the Joseon period of Korean history instead of an all girls’ school or haunted apartment building.

Based upon the old Korean Cinderella style story of Kongji and Patzzi, the plot revolves around twin sisters So Yeon and Hyo Jin (popular television starlet Park Shin Hye, known for “Palace S” and “Trees in Heaven”). After an accident which leaves her sister dead, So Yeon falls into a coma from which she finally awakes ten years later, with no memory of the tragic event or the incidents which led up to it. Although she slowly manages to adjust to her new life and even hesitatingly begins romancing her sister’s former beau Hyun Sik (Jae Hee, star of Kim Ki Duk’s “3-iron”), the past gradually comes back to haunt her, as she seemingly takes on her sister’s personality traits and a spate of murders terrorises the village. While the locals are quick to blame her for the sinister events, thanks to a barrage of none too subtle flashbacks it’s glaringly obvious that something more spooky is going on, leading to a final twist which surprises no-one but the rather slow characters.

Cynicism aside, although this may all sound rather familiar, with the ‘twins’ theme certainly having enjoyed a number of high profile genre outings over the last few years, “The Evil Twin” works by being far more of a character piece or as a supernatural costume drama than might be expected, with director Kim wisely focusing on the substantial elements of the story rather than on the worst narrative cliché of the genre. The film certainly manages to pack in plenty of angst, dealing with themes of guilt, identity and memory, and in this manner it most resembles Kim Tae Kyeong’s “The Ghost”, though with a slightly more theatrical bent. Indeed, a large part of the running time is taken up with scenes of dialogue, and while on one hand this does result in a rather deliberate pace, it helps to keep the action grounded, making the horror elements arguably more effective than in other similar efforts.

This is not to say that “The Evil Twin” doesn’t offer genre fans enough in the way of scares, though Kim aims for slow burn, atmospheric chills, with lots of creepy shots of dark forests and misty lakes. Needless to say, there are still a good few cheap shocks peppered throughout to spice things up and to prevent the viewer from nodding off, though these never come across as being too derivative largely due to a good value, game ghost who really puts in an effort compared to some of the disappointingly lazy spectres who have recently haunted cinemas.

Added to this are a couple of startlingly squirm-inducing scenes involving an unfortunate character struck down with a grotesque skin condition, and overall the film manages to offer a respectable scare quotient.

It certainly helps that the film is visually a handsome affair, boosted by rich production values and showing a genuine effort to make the most of the period setting.

Using a drab colour palette offset by a few injections of blazing red, Kim successfully manages to convey an otherworldly air that gives the film an almost gothic feel. As well as serving well to distract from the film’s basic similarity to other efforts set in more modern times the impressive visuals give the proceedings a traditional and uniquely Korean flavour.

If nothing else, this makes for a nice change and does mean that “The Evil Twin” stands out from the crowd, at least enough so to make it an entertaining watch for viewers who have been eagerly awaiting the start of this year’s Korean shriek season. Although by no means original, it ticks all the right boxes for the form, and stands as a piece of above average genre fare.
