So as we have recently heard, Verizon has dropped their attempt to get their clients to pay $2 for every time they pay their bills online. But now more and more rumors have been spreading that Sprint may be trying to do the exact same thing, and it’s got the FCC involved nose deep.

Something like this could end up shutting a company down for good, so the question still remains: “Why is that little bit of extra money so worth fighting for”? How is it going to benefit these already established companies? Sprint has not released any major statements yet, other than to say that it is not just a rumor.

Since the dawn of time, we have been in competition with many different countries, whether it be in the atmosphere, drilling for oil, or advancing in technology. One of the countries that we haven’t heard much of is China, but that’s all changed recently when their leader announced that they want to put a Chinese astronaut on the moon. This kind of brought surprise to the world, because they had never really had much of an interest in such a thing before, but so far they are gaining a lot of support.

Only time is going to tell if they actually put forth an effort towards executing this or not.

The much anticipated sports car, the Fisker Karma 239, has been recalled due to a possible faulty battery model. As many know, it is extremely expensive to recall a sports car, so making a mistake like this and being forced to execute one is absolutely wallet-shattering for the company who makes these cars. No reports have been filed about their batteries catching on fire, but the engineers who uncovered the problem are saying that it could still be a possibility.

Dealers are being contacted and new parts are being shipped out to them to fix this issue, but the fact still remains, how could someone miss such a problem before releasing this well-designed car?

Most Blackberry devices purchased through a contract deal are locked to your network provider. That means that if you want to switch networks, you need to unlock your Blackberry device so that it will accept other network’s SIM cards. Without unlocking your Blackberry, your phone won’t function with other networks.

Unlocking Blackberry handsets used to mean having to pay to do so. Blackberry users would either have to pay their network provider, or pay over the counter at a mobile phone store to have their device unlocked. But now you can unlock your handset for free, thanks to an innovative new site launched by a giffgaff community member.

giffgaff is a community-based mobile service provider that offers users affordable SIM card deals. A giffgaff member has launched an unlocking Blackberry handset site called FreeMyBerry.com, where any Blackberry user can unlock their device for free, and receive a code within 24 hours, without any tools.

Using the site’s service is free and easy, and it can be used to unlock the full Blackberry handset range. All you need to do is download two pieces of Blackberry software from the site, including Blackberry Manager, which most Blackberry users have installed on their laptop or PC anyway. Submit details provided by the software to the unlocking site and your unlock code will be emailed within 24 hours. Once you enter the unlock code, you’re free to use your handset with any network SIM card you wish. The following step-by-step instructional video will guide you through the process if you’re unsure.

giffgaff is a community-based company, which is run by giffgaff users for other giffgaff users. They’ve recently launched the new giffgaff Blackberry service. It costs £3 on top of whichever giffgaff goodybag you choose, and allows you to use the full range of Blackberry services, such as Blackberry messaging. Many pay as you go SIM card deals require you to pay a little extra to access the full range of Blackberry services on top of the cost of your mobile phone top-ups.

Besides the unlocking Blackberry site created by a member, giffgaff run the Unlockapedia site, which gives instructions for unlocking a whole range of other mobile phones and smartphones. The service is provided so that anyone looking to use a giffgaff SIM card is free to unlock their mobile, so that it will function on the giffgaff network, and to avoid unlocking scams prevalent online.

Recently, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network has completely dropped, leaving users with no access to the internet. Texting and calling became the only options, which sparked a very unhappy trail of customers, flooding rumors about how Verizon’s services might be “shutting down”. This was quickly proven untrue, because their 4G LTE network was restored very quickly. Verizon also released a statement saying that their 4G network was the only utility being problematic, and that everything else should be completely functional.

While this is the case for right now, it wasn’t two or three weeks ago when both the 4G and 3G networks went down for a little while. Hopefully the third time is the last time for all Verizon users.

The raspberry pi is a new device that is going to be released some time next month. This new miniature computer is going to be the least expensive computer in the world, running you up a total of $25. It becomes obvious when you meet the price that this is not even close to a gaming computer, but instead, it’s a computer that is meant specifically for children. Computers can be extremely expensive, and they come with a lot of tools that you don’t need for a child, making them so costly.

This computer has the bare essentials for a child to learn exactly what they need to learn, no questions asked. If you wanted, you could even double the RAM the computer comes with AND add an ethernet port, for only $10. This allows your child’s computer to be both faster, and allow them internet access. The Raspberry Pi runs on a basic Linux platform, and is easy to use.

Verizon has recently decided to drop their idea to charge a $2 fee for paying bills online, due to all of the customers that have complained about it. This has been one of the most negatively reviewed ideas a company has made since Activision tried to add a real I.D. system on to the game made popular by Blizzard, World of Warcraft. Verizon’s idea was to get people more interested in paying offline, but it really doesn’t make sense considering they’re a cell phone company.

It was reported that almost ninety percent of Verizon subscribers pay their bills online, which would have given Verizon a ridiculous income boost. They instead dropped this idea, due to the amount of customers who said they would be dropping Verizon’s service if they did this.

Minecraft, (the legendary and extremely popular game created by Majong), is confirmed to have a version of the game out for Xbox 360 in Spring of 2012! This is awesome considering that although the game is incredibly simple and has a small file size, over forty percent of buyers are having trouble running it on their computers. This is because the game is coded in java, which is naturally a memory hog to begin with.

This version of the xbox 360 game is said to be a little bit different, mainly in the fact that there will probably be no mods, and the layout will have minor changes. The only layout to really have changes will be how you craft things, otherwise the game should stay more or less the same. No information has been released about how the game servers will be run, but we can only hope it won’t be dumbed down to 2-4 players only, or even worse, single player!

Have your website been affected drastically by the recent Google Panda Updates? We all have heard that one major aspect in Google Panda algorithm is having unique and quality content. This is very true and important, but have you noticed that Google “Freshness” effect on the top 10 sites listed on google when searching for a keyword?

With Google Freshness many of the sites on the first page update atleast daily and often multiple times each day, as well as often have a time stamp that is on each article written so that google crawlers read that and verify that the content is new and “FRESH”!

As many people know, AT&T has recently tried to buy out T-Mobile, in hoped to expand their reaches in the fight for mobile dominance. However, recently AT&T has given up their bid on the company, for unknown reasons. Because they decided to give up their bid on the company, they have also lost four billion dollars in the process. This is huge considering the fact that they received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM THIS, which tells you that something must not be right about T-mobile, or that T-mobile paid AT&T off to stop pushing them towards selling their company.

Due to the fatal mistake of AT&T backing off of one of the hottest business deals there is this year so far, Verizon is being considered the number one service provider in the world, because they’ve decided to keep their nose clean and expand within themselves. More information on the AT&T crisis will more than likely be released when more credible information is admitted. Companies like Afghan Wireless would love to have one of these potential buy outs
