While we have offered some of the best CCTV solutions available since we opened our doors, we have always had a glaring hole in our line card: UTP.

After a great deal of searching and discussion, we have agreed to represent Kenrik Resources products in the Pacific Northwest.

Kenrik Resources currently manufactures three main products, all of which should be of interest to Surveillance integrators:

Video Distribution Amplfiers – 16 Channel Input by 48 channel Output (3 outputs per input channel).

Up the Coax (UTC) Controllers, and Receiver/Drivers. Wonderful way to add, for example, a PTZ at an existing fixed camera location, without the need to run a Control wire pair.

Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Video Transmission products – Single and 16 Channel passive and active units available.

UTP product features include:

High quality reconstructed video up to 3,000 ft. (914m) via cat 5 UTP

Compatible with all passive baluns and UTP enabled cameras

Exceptional interference rejection

Highly effective equalization and restoration of amplitude, sync, and color

Accepts UTP from pre-existing telecom or network cabling systems

Complete ground loop (hum-bar) blocking and surge protection

Wide range of power options (PSU not included)

In-rush current limiter and under-voltage lockout

High efficiency (internal) isolated switching power supply

Cable length adjustment and video present LED per channel

Ideally suited for exacting Digital Video Recorders

What’s so special about a Samsung Techwin Embedded NVR? The NO’s

No “Per Channel” Fees. What you pay for up front, is what you get.

No problems when changing out a camera – many NVR software packages are licensed by MAC address of the camera. On an Embedded NVR, just change the camera setup on the NVR to match the new unit – no fuss, no muss, no waiting for an email with an updated license key.

No server required.

No problems with hard drive failure completely disabling your NVR – the Linux based operating system is in firmware on the motherboard, not on a hard drive. Just replace the failed drive (from the easy access cage in the front of the unit), and go back to recording.

No problem mixing NVRs and DVRs in the same system – the current version of the Samsung Network Management Software makes it easy to mix Samsung NVRs, DVRs, IP Cameras, and IP Encoders, into a video network.

No problem adding Storage – the unit can support 4 1TB drives in its quick access drive cages. You can add external storage with external drive arrays using eSATA or Network Attached Storage.

No problem having the Cameras , Storage, and Users on separate networks – the unit has three 1GB Ethernet ports – One for User Access, one for Camera feeds, and one for external Network Attached Storage.

No Client License Fees – ever. The unit support Thin Client connection via Internet Explorer, or Thick Client via the included Samsung Network Management software.

No problem with remote access – the system can utilize Samsung’s complimentary Ipolis DDNS service, for easy access from off-site, without the need for a VPN.

No problem getting a demonstration – just give us a call, and we will schedule you in!

No Sticker Shock – call or email us for a quote – you won’t believe just how affordable these units are!
