Colonel Bleep is a 1957 American animated TV series which was the first color cartoon series made for television. It was created and written by Robert D. Buchanan and Jack Schleh on June 8, 1956, and was animated by Soundac, Inc. of Miami.

The show was originally syndicated on September 21, 1957, as a segment on Uncle Bill’s TV Club. One hundred episodes, of varying length of between three and six minutes each, were produced. Of these episodes, 45 episodes are known to exist in some form, eight of which are only available in monochrome.

Electric Earthquake (1942) is the seventh of seventeen animated Technicolor short films based upon the DC Comics character of Superman, originally created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster. This animated short was created by the Fleischer Studios.

The story runs for about eight minutes and covers Superman’s adventures in stopping a madman from destroying Manhattan with electronically induced earthquakes. It was originally released on May 15, 1942. This is the first of the films to make it clear that the action is taking place in Manhattan.

Flip the Frog is an animated cartoon character created by American animator Ub Iwerks. He starred in a series of 38 cartoons produced by Celebrity Pictures and distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from 1930 to 1933.

The series had many recurring characters, including Flip’s dog, a mule named Orace, and a dizzy neighborhood spinster.

Bosko’s Fox Hunt is a 1931 American animated comedy short film. It is the sixteenth film in the Looney Tunes series featuring Bosko. It was released on November 28, 1931. It was directed by Hugh Harman,and the film score was composed by Frank Marsales.

The cartoon’s plot is somewhat similar to that of the later Looney Tunes cartoons Porky’s Duck Hunt (1937) and Porky’s Hare Hunt (1938). It is Foxy’s only appearance in the Looney Tunes series, making a cameo appearance as a generic fox, and his last appearance overall.

Calvin and the Colonel is an American animated sitcom about Colonel Montgomery J. Klaxon, a shrewd fox, and Calvin T. Burnside, a dumb bear.

Their lawyer was Oliver Wendell Clutch, who was a (literal) weasel. The colonel lived with his wife Maggie Belle and her sister Susan Culpepper, who did not trust the colonel at all. Colonel Klaxon was in the real estate business, but always tried get-rich-quick schemes with Calvin’s unwitting help.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (also known as Oswald the Rabbit, Oswald Rabbit, and Ozzie) is an animated cartoon character created in 1927 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks for Universal Pictures. He starred in several animated short films released to theaters from 1927 to 1938. Twenty-seven animated Oswald shorts were produced at the Walt Disney Studio.

After Universal took control of Oswald’s character in 1928, Disney created a new character similar in appearance to Oswald as a replacement: Mickey Mouse, who went on to become one of the most famous cartoon characters in the world.

Feline Follies is a 1919 animated short film, distributed by Paramount Pictures. It marked the first appearance of the character Felix the Cat.

The film was produced by the Pat Sullivan Studio of New York City, owned by Australian animator Pat Sullivan. It is a matter of dispute whether to attribute the film and Felix’s creation to Sullivan himself, or to Otto Messmer, the studio’s lead animator. Messmer’s claim to have been the sole creator of Felix has parallels in animation history. Ub Iwerks claimed that he created Mickey Mouse, instead of studio owner Walt Disney. Grim Natwick claimed that he created Betty Boop, instead of studio owner Max Fleischer.

Private Snafu undertakes a clandestine operation in Axis Japan.

Private Snafu is the title character of a series of black-and-white American instructional adult animated shorts, ironic and humorous in tone, that were produced between 1943 and 1945 during World War II. The films were designed to instruct service personnel about security, proper sanitation habits, booby traps and other military subjects, and to improve troop morale. Primarily, they demonstrate the negative consequences of doing things wrong. The main character’s name is a play on the military slang acronym SNAFU, “Situation Normal: All Fucked Up”. (The cleaned-up version of that phrase, usually used on radio and in print, was “Situation Normal: All Fouled Up”.)

The Haunted House, also known as Haunted House, is a 1929 American animated comedy horror short film. It is the fourteenth film of the Mickey Mouse series. It was the fourteenth Mickey Mouse short to be produced, the eleventh of that year. It follows Mickey Mouse who is trapped in a haunted house and forced to play music. It was directed by Walt Disney who also provided the voice of Mickey; Ub Iwerks was the primary animator and Carl Stalling wrote the original music. It was released on December 2, 1929 by Celebrity Productions. Columbia Pictures reissued the film after Walt Disney Productions switched distributors.

The Haunted House borrows animation from Disney’s first Silly Symphony cartoon, The Skeleton Dance, which was released earlier in 1929, although most of the sequence is new. The Haunted House was Mickey’s first cartoon with a horror theme and led the way to later films such as The Gorilla Mystery (1930) and The Mad Doctor (1933). Disney had some trouble with the state censors over this cartoon, because of the gags involving a chamber pot and an outhouse.

Cartoon: The Chain Gang, 1930 starring Mickey Mouse

The Chain Gang is a 1930 Mickey Mouse animated film produced by Walt Disney Productions for Columbia Pictures, as part of the Mickey Mouse film series. It was the twenty-first Mickey Mouse short to be produced, the sixth of that year. It is one of a group of shorts produced by Disney immediately after Ub Iwerks left the studio.

The cartoon was primarily drawn by Norm Ferguson, and featured a pair of bloodhounds, who helped to track down Mickey after his prison escape. Although these dogs were not named, the style in which they were drawn makes them clear forerunners of Pluto, who first officially appeared a few months later in The Picnic. The animation for one of the bloodhound scenes in The Chain Gang was recycled as Pluto in four later cartoons. Additionally, a few scenes contain reused animation from the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon Sagebrush Sadie.

Outpost is an animated short film, directed by Chuck Jones and first released in August, 1944. It is part of the Private Snafu series. As in all the Snafu films, the voice of Private Snafu is performed by Mel Blanc.

This is considered a transitional film in the series, with Snafu successfully able to complete a mission despite his discomfort and being unaware of the importance of the task.

Felix the Cat is an American animated television series featuring the cartoon character of the same name.

Like The Van Beuren Corporation before, Joe Oriolo gave Felix a more domesticated and pedestrian personality, geared more toward children, and introduced Felix’s now-famous item of the “Magic Bag of Tricks”, a satchel that can assume the shape and characteristics of anything Felix wants, and several new main characters such as Felix’s arch-enemy, The Professor and his cigar-smoking bulldog sidekick Rock Bottom. The cartoons are divided into two parts, with the first part ending in a cliffhanger resolved after a commercial break.
