Using cocoa powder in the cake recipe gives it the special home baked flavor. This recipe is easy to make. It has a good moist texture, and most of all it is yummy to taste. I have frosted this cake with prepared frosting, but you could also just dust the top with some powdered sugar or leave it alone, and serve as is. /> <strong>Serves:</strong> 15</p><h3>Ingredients</h3><ul><li>2 cups flour</li><li>2 cups sugar</li><li>¾ cup cocoa powder</li><li>2 tsp. baking soda</li><li>2 eggs</li><li>1 tsp. salt</li><li>1 cup milk</li><li>1 cup vegetable oil</li><li>1 ½ tsp. vanilla</li><li>1 cup boiling water</li></ul><h3>Method</h3><p>1. Preheat oven at 325 degrees.</p><p>2. Grease and dust with cocoa powder a 9&#215;13 inch baking pan.</p><p>3. Combine all ingredients together in large bowl.</p><p>4. Stir until well blended.</p><div

/> <strong>Serves:</strong> 8</p><h3>Ingredients</h3><p><strong>Cake</strong></p><ul><li>1 ½ cup flour</li><li>¼ cup cocoa</li><li>1 cup Splenda</li><li>½ tsp. salt</li><li>1 tsp. baking soda</li><li>1 egg</li><li>½ cup vegetable oil</li><li>½ cup milk</li><li>½ cup boiling water</li><li>½ tsp. vanilla</li></ul><p><strong>Frosting</strong></p><ul><li>2 cups Splenda</li><li>½ cup cocoa</li><li>½ cup butter</li><li>½ cup milk</li><li>2 tsp. vanilla</li></ul><h3>Method</h3><p>1. Stir together flour, cocoa, Splenda, salt, and baking soda.</p><p>2. Add eggs, oil, and milk, stir well.</p><p>3. Next add boiling water and vanilla, mix well.</p><div
