UPDATE: Oh my – the video below is even more extensive and explicit in what the Jihadist said. He blatantly quotes the Koran as his motivation for the attack. It’s interesting that so many video clips from news sources cut out the more explicitly Islamic aspects of what the man said:

This video contains more of the message spewed by one of the Islamic Jihadist attackers in London yesterday who hacked to death a British Soldier:

“We will fight them as they fight us. An ‘eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ I apologize that women had to witness this today. But in OUR lands, our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe. Remove your Governments. They don’t care about you!”

Additionally, witnesses say they attackers were shouting “Allahu Akbar” all through the attack.

Here is video from “Morning Joe” today where National Journal reporter Ron Fournier slammed Barack Obama’s “Jihad against the Press,” saying it would lead to the very thing Obama campaigned against in 2008 – “dumb wars.” Fournier argued that the effect of Obama’s going after the press is a chilling effect on National Security sources in particular. Those sources are now less willing to talk to the media, meaning it will not be much more difficult for the press to get the truth about National Security matters. NBC News reporter Lisa Myers chimed in that she is already seeing sources far less willing to talk because they don’t want there to be a “trail of contact.”

Ron Fournier: “The Press has gotten a lot of criticism for laying down on Iraq and not exposing earlier the lies and deceptions on Iraq. That wasn’t because the Press Corps is conservative. You know, generally the opposite is true. It’s not that the Press Corps is for war. The problem there was it is awfully hard to do this kind of reporting. It’s a tight-knit community. The irony here is that President Obama, by raising Jihad against the Press, has now made it more likely we will have what he called ‘dumb wars.’”

The media is waking up to the fact that Obama’s idea of “radically transforming America” may not be what they thought it would be. To achieve his radical goals, the press is about to figure out that Obama is just as willing to throw them under the bus as he is everyone else.

Here is video of CNN’s Jake Tapper last night warning those who blindly support Barack Obama that “when it’s not your guy in the White House,” the “precedent” being set by this President on going after the Press may not be so acceptable. Tapper said that what the Obama Administration is doing is essentially to label investigative journalism a crime, having gone after the private information of Fox News Reporter James Rosen and his parents by labeling him a possible “co-conspirator.”

It’s too bad more in the media did not practice journalism when Barack Obama was running for the U.S. Senate, or when he first announced he would run for President. That’s when his radical background and ideology should have raised fears and garnered media scrutiny and attention. What he is doing now was totally predictable based on his past actions and associations. Yet, the starry-eyed media was working overtime to help him defeat Hillary Clinton and then John McCain. The media literally made Barack Obama into something he never was. Now, it’s becoming clear to even some in the media who he has been all along.

Here is video of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz yesterday responding to Sen. John McCain’s call to “trust Republicans” to fix the nation’s debt problems. But Cruz candidly said, “I don’t trust the Republicans – and I don’t trust the Democrats.” Cruz said it is the leadership in both parties that have left us in the fiscal mess we are in, with massive debt that is growing larger every day.

Cruz praised Democrats for at least being candid about the fact they want to raise the debt-ceiling and continue to spend money we don’t have, a position he called “dangerous,” but at least “intellectually consistent and honest.”
