Hi guys. I have a big problem with authorize.net plugin. Here are the details: We have installed about 2 or 3 plugins for the A/N payment. The Paypal plugin works perfectly. The A/N sometimes works, sometimes doesn't (I was told by several programmers that the problem is not the script, because if it was the script then it would NEVER work). They are suggesting that somehow some of the orders are "lost" on the way from A/N. This is what's happening: 1. some orders hit the admin of our oscommerce store, some don't 2. the orders that hit the admin don't trigger the "emailing script" which happens fast the paypal plugin's case 3. for the orders that DON'T HIT the admin: instead of sending the customer to the success page, he is sent to https://secure.autho...ay/transact.dll where the client login panel can be seen! 4. all the orders placed hit A/N website and appear as transactions. (but the orders must be shown in the admin as well!!!) Someone else already tried to fix this but they couldn't. So if you are confident that you can solve this out, tell me about it in PBM please (and tell me what's the supposed problem with our store). I'll be waiting for all your messages/bids ASAP. i am thinking about getting a script or something to help automate some SEO research that I do manually....right now, i spend too much time doing this task manually when i am pretty sure it can be automated. i know some of you have experience with some of the google api's so i figured i would ask :) i tried to look, but i am not sure if google has an api for their actual search....basically i run a series of searches on google to look for some SEO information that i need to determine keyword competition...aside from taking alot of time to manually do it, i common problem i run into is that google will occasionally show me a captcha form and after a few more searches, it won't let me do anymore searches for awhile.... so i am wondering if they have an actual api for their search, what are the limits they have? additionally, i will need some info taken from the google adwords api...in the end, i would like to possibly have a web based tool that would work like this.... 1. i enter a keyword phrase in the tool and a project URL to name the project 2. the tool uses the google adwords api (adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) to perform a search for this keyword and returns the results (saves them to the db or something) - would need to pull the keyword, competition, global searches, local searches, estimated CPC 3. then for each of the keywords saved, i would need to perform the searches on google automatically - I WILL PROVIDE THE SEARCH INFO TO BE RUN TO THE WINNING BIDDER - this data will be referred to as "competition 1" 4. from the search results above in step 3, extract the number that appears where it says "About 9,870 results (0.27 seconds) " - for example 9,870 and save that to the database 5. next run another search exactly like what was done in step 3, except add the following query to the string "I WILL PROVIDE THE SEARCH STRING TO THE WINNING BIDDER" - this data will be referred to as "competition 3" 6. from the search results above in step 5, extract the number that appears where it says "in order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 485 already displayed. We need someone to copy a very basic website so we can place it onto another server. We've tried a couple programs that scrape the site and place it onto our local hard drive, but the menu hover actions and links are not working properly, so you'll probably have to do some minor code tweaks to get the site copy so it is just like the original. The original site is based on a cms but the copy can just be static, unless you have a way to copy over the cms as well.
