Monthly Member Meeting

Freelancers Union’s work has always been by and for freelancers – so come get on the inside track. Join us at our informal Monthly Member Meeting to work with other members on building community, sharing the freelance life, and shaping our grassroots movement.

At each gathering, members have the opportunity to network over pizza, share their experiences and advice, support each other in crafting solutions to shared challenges, and become involved in different initiatives. Members’ projects have ranged from helping plan an event to organizing a public education campaign. If you’re looking for a sense of freelancer community, the Monthly Member Meeting is the perfect place for you to find it.

When you joined Freelancers Union, you became part of a community and a national movement based on mutual support and exchange. Collectively, we’re working to win equal protections and supports for independent workers. Learn more about how we support each other through our benefit programs, advocacy work, and educational and networking events.

Even if you’ve been with us for a while, this is a great chance to get to know our philosophy and mission better. We’ll also be able to answer questions about volunteer opportunities, our advocacy initiatives, health insurance, retirement plans, and more.
