Many freelance writers needed for ongoing part-time work ($6.50 to $9.25 per short article)

Andovar is recruiting many freelance writers to work part time 15-25 hours per week in quickly writing a wide variety of articles (250-400 words) for travel websites.

Typical articles include:
- Overviews of cities
- Weather/Airports in cities
- Hotel reviews
- Travel blogs
- Guide to sports/food in cities

The fee per article depends on the number of words assigned and the ease of writing such articles. Writers will be able to repurpose and reference other online travel guides, but without lifting whole sentences verbatim.

Each writer will be supervised by an editor and be provided with a style guide. Depending on the size/nature of the article, the work should be completed in 45-60 minutes per article, with writers being able to work faster as they gain experience in each format.

It is not necessary to have visited the destinations, but writers' personal background will be matched to article destinations/content where possible.

Articles are assigned weekly and payment is made monthly. Writers who meet quality standards and who can adjust to the editor's standards will be prioritized for work in the following week. The project will expand every week, from hundreds to thousands of articles, so new writers will be added constantly.

Qualifications
- Native English speaker
- Daily access to email
- Above average writing skills
- Ability to write quickly on a wide range of subjects
- Ability to create new content by researching and summarizing other travel websites

Freelance Writers Needed

Weaver Multimedia Group, a custom publishing company headquartered in Denver, Colorado, is looking for freelance writers to contribute content to a wide range of travel and tourism publications and products.

Writing will be assigned on a per-project basis ranging from short blurbs to articles of more than 500 words. Previously published writers with experience creating content for the travel and tourism industry are preferred.

All content will become the property of Weaver and/or Weavers clients and will be subject to approval and editing by Weaver and its third-party clients. Writers must have the ability to conduct research remotely and write engaging and accurate copy about a wide range of domestic destinations.

Weaver will supply a statement of work for each assignment along with a contract describing terms. Compensation will be determined on a per-project basis.

I need a freelance writer available for on-site work in our Frisco office. Tasks will be varied, and include:
--Scriptwriting (corporate videos)
--Web copy (SEO/keyword based short articles)
--Technical writing (help screens, documentation, etc.)

Resumes without hourly rates will not be considered. We are a fast-growing digital media company with clients across the U.S. Sample portfolios (online or attached Acrobat files) will be required before an interview will be scheduled. We do check references.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, a great casual work environment, and the opportunity for flexible project-based work. You might work one day this week, two days next week....and a month later on.
