Description of duties:
Produce Report - Use provided data resources to answer specific questions regarding neighborhood trends in demographics, real estate, economic development, etc. Compose chapters for assigned subject matters (up to 9) while maintaining consistency in writing style throughout report. The final product will be a draft report that incorporates the best data analysis possible in light of the available data sources.

There will be a collaborative, internal review and walk through process of compiling and analyzing data throughout the report. Be able to discuss the methodology(ies) utilized with the SI team. The purpose of this review process is to 1) teach the SI team the report-writing approach, 2) identify shortcomings in datasets and assumptions, 3) clarify underlying assumptions used during data analyses.

Skill sets:
�€� Excellent written, presentation and communications skills
�€� Data mining and graphic presentation
�€� Ability to research for data as needed
�€� Ability to creatively utilize available data to conduct relevant analyses
�€� Understanding of report development process and methodology
�€� Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
�€� Ability to integrate visual images to integrate within the product documentation as needed
�€� Ability to communicate progress and process to client and willingness to educate client on report creation methodology

Experience:
�€� A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Real Estate, Demographics and/or Community Development Market Research
�€� A thorough understanding of data manipulation and analysis techniques.
�€� Must have a solid understanding of and some experience working with an array of data sources.
�€� A working knowledge and proficiency in using publishing software applications (i.e. Adobe FrameMaker preferred, RoboHelp, MS Word, etc)
�€� Knowledge of and proficiency in technical writing principles (Chicago Manual of Style and Microsoft Manual for Technical Publications)

This assignment will be paid as follows:
Compensation to be negotiated. This assignment can be paid hourly or on a flat fee per deliverable basis.
This work has an 8 week timeline, but may be extended for additional scopes of work.
