much a fault of the blog plugin, but more of the DokuWiki core, because

<description>how much work would it be to revive the spellcheck plugin as a dokuwiki

That's somewhat complicated because you need to skip all those HTML
tags. You could go through the DOM and feed each word separately to a
spellchecker but that would be dead slow. Maybe you could use the same
mechanism I used to skip wiki syntax - just replace all tags with
whitespaces... no idea.

Entirely depends on your coding skills. Should be possible somehow. Good luck.

      <description>Hi Andreas,

how much work would it be to revive the spellcheck plugin as a dokuwiki
feature that highlights misspelled word on the actual web page, rather
than in the editbox, with suggested corrections (either via css tooltip,
or via javascript)? While most modern browsers have spellchecking in
their edit boxes, none of them have spell checked for web pages (and why
would they, of course. for normal sites, you cannot edit the page). This
feature is, however, highly useful if you have editorial capabilities.

How do I get my ajax javascript to use the php global variables? Eg. I
want my plugin javascript to read the $INFO, $AUTH etc of the page
everytime when I click a button.
The real question is why?. If there are values in these session
variables that you want, then perhaps you want to explicitly extract
these in your plugin and then pass them to your javascript, for instance
via dokuwiki's addInitEvent() javascript function:

Right now, it's probably simplest to use an interwiki link:

So, which method is the prefered one ? Flexibility is a good

That's exactly the event I use; however, html_login() adds the register

 inc/html.php, though.

Ah, now I see your problem, and you're right, ideally those links should be
accessible by through the form object and inc/html.php needs to be fixed.
