Batman - Dark Tomorrow
Hey guys. First off, thank you to everyone who was there Thursday night for the
premier of Batman Dark Tomorrow! We showed it at 9:30 PM to a sold out crowd of
over 270 people, and again at 11 to about 50 or 60. It was a great night, and
everyone really seemed to love it!

We are working on getting it online... apparently uploading a 50 minute movie is
harder than we thought... but there will be a high quality version up for
view/download by the end of this week! We'll let you know.

With Batman behind we are now working on our next project, "Wild in the Streets"
(finally), a 20-30 minute short comedy set in the late 80's about a kid who
lives to blade! (rollerblade that is... and to be fair I don't even think they
had those until the early 90's) We've got most of the script written and will
film for the remainder of this summer, and probably finish it up over the next
semester. If all goes to plan we will have another premier at the mall sometime
over Christmas break. (we'll show other short videos too... 20-30 minutes isn't
much of a premier night)

Anyways, thanks again to everyone who came out. We had a blast and we really
appreciate all of the positive feedback. We'll get it online ASAP!

House on Haunted Hill (1959) is quite an atmospheric film with spooky background music and a very convincing cast. The special effects might be poor when compared to today's standards, but with believable charecters, and all of that atmosphere, who needs modern-day effects.
"The Ghosts are moving tonight," Watson Pritchard tells us at the beginning if the film, and then promises that in a few moments he will show us the only really haunted house in the world. Watson keeps his promise and there are plenty of cobwebs, ceilings that drip blood, organs that play by themselves and chandaliers that swing and fall. This is an olide, people, but it is still a goodie, and, to top it all, it's got Vincent Price in it too. House on Haunted Hill was originally released by Allied Artists Pictures Corporation. The film has since fallen into the public domain, and is available in a number of unauthorized issues of questionable legitimacy. Two major studios have released the film in remastered versions. Warner Home Video released the film on DVD as a tie-in to promote the release of the 1999 remake. In 2005, the film was colorized by Legend Films. The color version was released on DVD the same year by 20th Century Fox. Extras prepared by Legend Films for the Fox DVD release included an audio commentary track by comedian Michael J. Nelson, of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame, two versions of the trailer, and a slideshow of images from the film's original press book. The

colorized release was very well received. Released on archive.org (http://www.archive.org/details/House_On_Haunted_Hill.avi) and Google video as a Public Domain movie. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_on_Haunted_Hill)
