This summer, in conjunction with a solo show at the Open Source Gallery (reception: July 4th) and thanks to a Regrant from the Brooklyn Arts Council in association with the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, more monsters will crawl out from under the beds of city kids and onto the streets of Brooklyn." Celebrate local children's art with food, crafts, music, fun, and free drinks. More info on the Monster Project here.

This year however we're keeping the boozing local in order to get a glimpse of the infamous Macy's Independence Day fireworks. This year's stripped down show sets off on the Hudson River - much to our Brooklyn lovin' dismay - between 24th to 57th Streets.
