Ocean Dancer Template

The Ocean Dancer is a free xml template for Blogger. This template consists of one menu bar, a 474px width box for blog post (so it is suitable for your 468 x 60 ad), a two column sidebar plus one single sidebar column which is capable to load three 125px width images.

You can put an entrecard widget together with one of the 125 spaces, use an ad site like Project Wonderful, or any widget you desired.

Both sidebars also have enough size for you to manage your widget freely and easily. The top tabs are hard coded into the template so you’ll need to edit the template code and update them as needed.

Frozen Age Template

This template gets it’s chilly name from the snow covered mountain header image. It’s a nice looking new Blogger template with two columns and several sidebar widgets already built in. You get the recent comments and recent posts widget (you’ll need to enter your blog feeds in order to make it work).

It also comes installed with header tabs which need to be setup within your Blogger template layout screen. Please note, the search box will NOT be aligned properly when you first load up this template. Once you add at least one new top tab via the link list, everything will show up properly. Please don’t post a comment below telling us that the template is broken.

The header image can also be changed but you’ll need to edit the template code. Whatever new image you decide to use, make sure the corners are rounded otherwise it won’t match the existing layout and design. You’ll need some photo editing experience to do this. The image file img04.jpg is 960px x 147px.

This template was originally designed by Free CSS Templates and then ported over to Blogger by Template Go Down. eBlog Templates then took the template one step further and enhanced it with easy to setup header tabs, extra sidebar widgets, and a clean template layout interface.

3/31/08 – For those of you who downloaded this template prior to today, there was an alignment bug with Internet Explorer. This has since been fixed in the latest version. If you’d like to fix your current template without having to download it again, just uncomment out the 2nd line from the top of the template code.

Refresh Template

If the colors of Digg suit your fancy, then I’ve got a new Blogger template for you. It’s called Refresh which is a subtle two column template with some nice features. First off, you get the dynamic header tabs built in so just edit the “top tabs” widget and your tabs will appear. The original actually used labels for your top tabs but if you’ve got too many, it breaks the nav.
The sidebar has an html widget so you can enter some information about your site. Below that comes your standard labels/categories widget, and archives widget. Make sure to set your archives widget to “flat” display otherwise it might look funny.

This template was designed by Styleshout and converted into xml Blogger by Tech Bold. eBlog Templates enhanced it and moved the images over to our hosting environment.

Organic Ice Remixed Theme

Here’s a nice theme called Organic Ice Remixed. It features two columns with a shaded green color scheme. The header includes a floral ivy background and there’s also a custom top section where you can include your own message.

Being a blog template designer and trying to showcase your work can be tough. You need to make sure you properly display your hard work in a digestible format so others can easily browse and download your goodies.

This nice and clean WordPress theme is called CSS Gallery and is perfect for website owners who are looking for a way to showcase web templates. If you’re a designer, distributor, or just want a fancy yet simple WordPress theme then you should download and use this template.

Once you download the theme it takes a little bit of configuring to get it working properly. Remember, this isn’t your ordinary theme and you’ll need to take screenshots of your website or blog themes in the correct size dimension before you can get it looking like the demo. It uses custom fields as well so make sure you’ve got a decent understanding about how WordPress uses them.

Big City Girl Template

This template reminds me of the HBO show, “Sex and the City”. It’s girly pink and night black which is a perfect look for a New York or any city girl. The header has a cartoonish pink city image while the rest of the template is pretty much black.

There’s room for lots of widgets so you can put ads or whatever cool widget suits your needs. This new Blogger template was submitted by Mialicious.

Black n Blue Template

Black and blue is a three column Blogger template based on the K2Modify template. It comes with your standard sidebar widgets but also has the recent posts and recent comments widgets as well.

Here’s a cute girly template designed and built by our friend Amanda over at Blogger Buster. She’s done a really nice job adding all the great web 2.0 features including the very so popular three column footer.

This Girly Web 2.0 style template is designed for Blogger and is completely widget ready.

Despite the simple, clean layout, this template has many advanced features including:

eBlog Templates has copied the images over to it’s dedicated Photobucket hosting platform and also enhanced the template a bit. We changed the cool calendar feature so that the calendar image appears on every single post instead of just the current day! Also all the javascript is embedded in the template so no external links are present which means your template won’t break in the future.

In order to get the date to properly work you need to make one small change. Go to your “Settings” => “Formatting” => and change your Timestamp Format to “Monday, March 31st, 2008″. Make sure you change the correct date setting before you start asking why it doesn’t work. 9 times out of 10 it’s because you changed the wrong drop down.

Grungy Template

Grungy is an artistic new Blogger template with a nice look. It’s got aqua blue and white for it’s primary colors and the icons throughout the template are somewhat smeared to give you that grunge look (hence the name of this template).

It’s a two column template with all the usual goodies like recent comments and recent posts widgets, link list, two ad spaces which come pre-installed with Text Link Ads and Niche Store. Both ads disappear once you replace the html widget with anything if you don’t want to use them.

Feel free to modify this template but all we ask is to please keep the footer links intact since the original author spent a lot of his personal time creating this template for you. Thanks to Blog Mundi for converting this nice template and providing it for free!

is_Simple Template

This new addition is a three column red and white Blogger template for those looking for a very simple look. It’s like getting an empty canvas and now it’s your chance to paint it however you want.

The right sidebars come with your standard widgets as well as some additional custom ones. eBlog Templates has added the cool real time FeedIt traffic widget, a Text Link Ad ad placeholder, and an Google AdSense placeholder which just needs your publisher id entered.

If you don’t already have an AdSense account, you should sign up for one now for free so you can start making money on your blog.

There’s also a hardcoded Google AdSense link unit put into the top area above your first post. This is a great spot to get clicks so you should update it with your own publisher id. It’s not a widget so you’ll have to edit the template code and look for the following tag “” and ““. That’s the section you can change.

You’ll notice that the code looks a little strange. That’s because it needs to be converted in order for Blogger to recognize it. Once you create your new AdSense code you can convert it using our free Ad Code Converter and then paste it into your template.

iTheme Techno Left Column Template

This is another variation of the popular Mac OS interface design which includes the original really cool drag & drop sidebar feature. It allows you to rearrange the order of your sidebar in a dynamic fun way (check out the demo and try it yourself). It also includes the FeedIt widget which shows real-time live traffic to your site.

This template also comes with a top AdSense link unit which is a great spot to make money with your blog. Make sure you have a Google AdSense account and then you’ll need to modify the template code and replace the AdSense code with your own.

Installation Instructions

Here’s another great theme from Dezzain.com which is a great money maker WordPress theme. Timeline Digest has several ad spots including the popular 125 x 125 sized banners in the sidebar. It’s a great way to sell ads on your site to bring in some extra money each month. You can also just place your own affiliate ads there as well. The version included in this download has 6 affiliate placeholders which are perfect for WordPress bloggers.

If you don’t like the placeholder ads, you can of course replace them with whatever ads you like.

Dilectio Template

Here’s a nice three column modern artistic Blogger template with some nice bells and whistles. It has a cool search box and “About You” section with a red/orange background along with a custom date/time stamp for each post. This template is only the second one ever to include javascript tabs within the sidebar. That means instead of the page reloading each time you click on a tab, it dynamically clicks over! Check out the live demo to see it in action.

This free Blogger template is also setup for you to easily add Google AdSense and make money from your blog. If you don’t already have Google AdSense, you should read more about how to make money from Blogger and sign-up. The ad format and colors you should use to best match this template are illustrated below. The 300 x 250 rectangle with #fff3e2 for the border and background, #cc0000 for the text, and #856d65 for the title and url. This will make your ad block blend in nicely with the light pink second column.

You’ll also need to setup the header tabs before they appear. Just edit the “top tabs” widget and create the tabs you want. The “Home” tab automatically appears once you create your first tab.

To setup the recent posts and comments cool dynamic tab section you’ll need to paste in your rss feeds. Read this article on setting up your Blogger recent comments and posts section.

The rest of the configuration is pretty straight forward. If your individual blog post date stamp doesn’t show up, you’ll need to make one more change. Go into your Blogger’s “Settings” tab and then click on “Formatting”. Next, change the “Timestamp Format” (it’s the 4th one down) to this format => “Wednesday, February, 2008″. Make sure you change the “Timestamp Format” and NOT the “Date Header Format”. Many people in the past have told me it didn’t work only to find out they were changing the wrong field.

This template was originally designed by Design Disease for WordPress and was converted into Blogger by Blog and Web. eBlog Templates decided to take it one step further and enhance it to include the dynamic header tabs and javascript recent posts and comments tab section.

Natural Essence Template

This template has a woodsy nature feel to it yet it’s quite inviting for any sort of blog. Natural Essence is a 2 columns new Blogger template submitted by “Oz” and enhanced by eBlog Templates.

It’s got a nice floral brown header image and a clean simple template body. There is also a cool footer module that comes with the recent posts and recent comments widgets. You’ll have to paste in your blogs feed url in order to get it working.

If you want to use the built-in top tabs you’ll need to edit the “top tabs” widget and create them. No need to go into the template code!

As usual, all images are hosted on our Photo Bucket Pro account so this template can be installed on your site and ready to go within minutes.

Dreamy Template

Dreamy is a pleasant and relaxing new xml Blogger template with it’s header consisting of a large white feather, blue sky, clouds, and a tree. It’s color scheme is neutral and easy on the eyes while the functionality is nicely done.

It comes with cool tabs that get underlined by an icon when you move your mouse over them. The tabs are also controlled by a link list widget so there’s no need to fudge with the template code. It also comes with a nice rss feed image which changes when you mouse over it as well. The rss feed is wired up so no configuration for you to worry about.

Further down the sidebar, you’ll find a recent posts widget which is very nice to have. It’s a modified version of an rss feed widget so just plug in your rss feed and it will start working.

All images are hosted with our primary service provider (Photobucket) using their Pro account. This means your blog images will work unlike several other sites out there who distribute broken blogger templates. We recommend you move the images to your own server (if you’ve got one) so you have complete control and can add/remove as you please.

This is a soft and bright two-column template. The header includes nice hearts, clouds and a soft background. It’s a great flexible Blogger template that comes with tabs which you can add/remove without touching the code! Missing You Template

This template is fixed width and designed for an 800×600 and wider screen resolution. This template will NOT work in “classic” Blogger mode.

This theme features a built in RSS Feed and full support for drag and drop sidebar widgets.

The images are already hosted via Photobucket, no need to download those separately!

IMPORTANT!

Make sure you backup or save your existing customizations like links and sidebar addons, hit counters, widget contents, etc. before deleting the old skin because they will be replaced by the new code. After installation just copy and paste your customizations back in from your original code.

In some cases the template editor will ask to confirm the deletion of some of the widgets / page element sections. This will happen when you have widgets installed that are not included in this theme. This theme includes a bare minimum of widget elements. You should make backup copies of the contents of those widgets before deleting or you will lose the data! Once the theme is installed, you can reinstall your widget elements and complete the customization.

Your blogs title will automatically replace the title you see in the header. The description or tagline will display in the header panel, edit it in your blogs “Settings” area.
