Fringe Pilot Leaked

2008-06-17T15:41:00.000-07:00

Thanks for your emails alerting us to the above fact. We are aware and have been since Saturday. We won't be hosting the pirated pilot or any screen captures or other materials derived from it. Put bluntly, not only would that be illegal, but worse (as far as we're concerned), we look upon it as stealing from the very people we have to thank for making Fringe a reality. ...discuss.

Fringe Promos & Trailers On Youtube

2008-06-09T16:12:00.000-07:00

WireLover put this Fringe TV Promo player together. It includes the two newest promos which also preview the cool text effect Kristin Sample describes in her review of the Pilot:

The text they use to denote the different location is cool. It's a very small part of the show, but it's interesting nonetheless. The text is 3-D and the camera sometimes will go through it, like the text itself is a physical part of the scene.

All in all, nice work WireLover. Keep it up and here is to hoping Fox and JJ Abrams don't mind. ...discuss in forum.

Fox Fringe Website Images Decompiled

In conjunction with the recent updated of Fox's Official Fringe page, Dennis has grabbed the images from the flash files and saved them with black backgrounds.

I've named and labeled those I could figure out. They all had to do with Fibonacci numbers (thanks paulisnofun for pointing that out). If you know the names of those I couldn't figure out, or see I've mislabeled any, please let me know in the forum.

Fringe Print Ads and Officially on Facebook

These Fringe ads are from the official TV show page for Fringe on Facebook (not to be confused with the Fringe Facebook Group). Look to the former for the occasional goodie. Check (and join) the latter for the latest news, updates, fandom, etc. ...discuss.

Has Future On Fox Revealed Holomove.com & codewtrN8 As Viral Websites For Fringe?

2008-05-23T11:53:00.000-07:00

Yesterday, the Future on Fox blog posted the following:

38,573,000 Civilians Died

We're not claiming to know what this company is. Nor do we know this man.

Although, some of these people seem to have an idea.

Does that post from an "official" Fox site confirm a connection between the Holomove.com & codewtrN8 ARG and Fringe? Not necessarily. It is a remote possibility that the folks at Future on Fox just felt like messing with us. The post was also tagged:

Tags: boldly going, Dollhouse, Fringe, Terminator, virtuality

So even if there is a connection (i.e. the FoF post is a legitimate hint), how Fringe relates to the Holomove ARG is not only unclear, but ...read more.

Fringe Forum Featured Posts

2008-04-21T16:05:00.000-07:00

I'm a big advocate of forums. It's where I got my start, and in my experience there's no substitute for a forum when it comes to community, conversation and staying appraised of the latest news. Featuring the best forum posts here both acknowledges the indispensable contributions of that community, and rewards its best posters with increased exposure. That is why I'm introducing Featured Posts. ...read more.
