Fui visitar um lugar muito especial, onde não regressava desde criança: o Zoo de Lisboa. Foi um dia muito bem passado, do qual vos vou falar no próximo post. Hoje deixo-vos apenas com o look deste dia tão divertido, tendo como pano de fundo o lindo carrossel que podem encontrar na zona de entrada livre.

I went to a very special place, where I haven’t returned since childhood: the Lisbon Zoo. It was such a great day, but I’ll talk you about it in the next post. Today I leave you with the outfit I wore, having as a background the beautiful carousel that can be found in the free area.

I’ve already shown you my new bag by Portuguesa, I know, but it’s so cute that deserved a post all to itself! Portuguesa is a brand that I really like, because apart from very beautiful, these bags are 100% national product. They’re inspired by typical portuguese elements, like the blue tiles or the valentine’s scarves, as you can see on my two models. Vocês já sabem o quanto eu gosto de Sintra. E se já vos tinha mostrado por aqui o lindo jardim de Monserrate, hoje mostro-vos o palácio. Tanto o parque como o palácio são espaços exuberantes, construídos por ordem do milionário inglês Francis Cook. Este espaço constituía a residência de Verão da família Cook e é um belo exemplo do romantismo português.

Este passeio contou com a boa companhia do nosso amigo Fábio Teixeira, que contribuiu também para o post de hoje com um novo olhar, captando o outro lado daquilo que vocês normalmente vêem. (Não deixem de espreitar o blog magnífico que o Fábio tem, dedicado ao seu gato, o Atum. Vão adorar!)

You already know how much I love Sintra. And after showing you here the beautiful gardens of Monserrate, today I show you the palace. Both the park and the palace are wonderful spaces, built by order of the English millionaire Francis Cook. This space was the summer residence of the Cook family, and is a fine example of Portuguese romantic period.

This tour featured the good company of our friend Fabio Teixeira, who also contributed for today’s post with a new point of view, capturing the other side of what you usually see. (You should also check Fabio’s amazing blog, dedicated to his cat, Atum. You’ll love it!)

Hoje mostro-vos algumas coisinhas do universo da beleza, que comprei nesta Primavera. Para começar: o blush da Chanel Joues Contrastes na cor 64 – Pink Explosion. Se há coisa que eu adoro é um blush bem rosinha e este é perfeito! Sobretudo pela cor, mas também porque tem um cheirinho tão bom! E embora a Primavera apele aos tons mais claros, eu precisava mesmo de um verniz azul escuro. O Blue Satin da Chanel também chegou por estes dias cá a casa. Nas mãos, por norma, uso sempre o Mica Rose (também da Chanel) que deixa um brilho rosado bem discreto. Nos pés é que costumo usar tons mais fortes.

Today I show you a few things from the world of beauty, which I bought this spring. To start: the blush from Chanel, Joues Contrasts in color 64 – Pink Explosion. If there’s one thing I love is a pink blush and this one is perfect! Especially for the color, but also because it smells so good! And although the spring appeals to lighter shades, I really needed a dark blue nail polish. The Blue Satin by Chanel was my choice. In the hands, as a rule, I always use Mica Rose (also by Chanel) that leaves a very discreet rosy glow. But I like to wear stronger shades on my feet.

Não sei se já sabem, mas eu sou apaixonada pelos pincéis da Too faced. E para juntar à minha colecção trouxe mais este Kabuki Brush. Os pincéis Too Faced têm uma particularidade que eu adoro: são feitos com pêlos de ursinho de peluche, não é a coisa mais fofa?

Maybe you already know that I’m mad about Too Faced brushes, and this Kabuki was the last one I added to my collection. Too Faced brushes have a peculiarity that I love: they’re made with teddy bear hair. Isn’t this the cutest thing?

Outra marca que eu gosto muito é a Paul & Joe e, desta vez, juntei à minha caixa de maquilhagem este Bon Bon. Para além do aspecto delicioso, cheio de bolinhas coloridas que parecem prontas a cair sobre um cupcake, este primer deixa a pele fresca e luminosa, preparada para receber o resto da maquilhagem. Quando o uso, sinto uma espécie de cheiro a Verão. É óptimo!

Another brand that I really like is Paul & Joe. And I couldn’t resist this Bon Bon. Beyond the delicious look, full of colored little balls that seem ready to fall on a cupcake, this primer leaves our skin fresh and bright, prepared to receive the rest of the makeup. I feel a kind of summer smell when I wear it. It’s great!

Depois há os clássicos Benefit que não podem faltar na minha caixa de maquilhagem e que têm sempre o stock renovado. Os novos são o Boi-ing e o lápis de olhos Bad gal.

Then there are the Benefit classics that I can’t miss in my makeup box. The new ones are the Boi-ing and the Bad gal liner. 

Uma novidade Benefit para mim é a Bathina. Há muito tempo que esta latinha despertava a minha curiosidade e foi desta que me ofereci este mimo. Ainda não usei, mas posso dizer que cheira mesmo bem!

A Benefit novelty for me is Bathina. I’ve been curious about this one for so long and now I spoiled myself with it. I haven’t use it yet, but I can say it smells really good!

E por falar em cheiros, o Dot do Marc Jacobs foi a minha última aquisição no que toca a perfumes. Provavelmente conhecem melhor o frasco maior, mais exuberante, mas eu gosto de comprar os perfumes pequenos. Tenho esta mania…

Agora contem-me: algum destes produtos faz parte da vossa lista de favoritos?

And talking about smells, Dot by Marc Jacobs was my last purchase when it comes to perfumes. Probably you know better the larger bottle, more exuberant, but I like to buy the smaller ones. It’s a thing of mine…
