We have published our new website and the social media share buttons seem to work. However, they are not sharing any content from the selected page. Does the plug in have that ability? If not is there anything out there that will allow an extract of the content from any page or blog post to be shared on any social media platform please?

Hi Hidayetov,

Thank you for sending the diagnostics.

I reviewed the logs and the good news is that your Gemini API key and bot configuration appear to be working correctly. The bot successfully connected to Gemini and returned valid responses in the first tests.

The error appears later as a connection timeout from your server to Google Gemini:

cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10002 milliseconds

So this does not look like an invalid API key or a missing bot setting. It seems to be an intermittent timeout between your hosting server and the Gemini API.

I’m reviewing this on the plugin side as well, because the current timeout may be too strict for some hosting environments. In the meantime, please keep debug logging disabled again to avoid unnecessary log growth.

Best regards,
Esteban

Hi @northernbeacheswebsites

I’m also experiencing the same issue.

The plugin shows:
“401 The token used in the request has expired”

When I try to reconnect using “Connect with LinkedIn”, it redirects to:
https://plugins.northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/redirectlinkedin/
but the page stays completely blank and never completes authentication.

I’ve tried:

Different browsers

Incognito mode

Re-authorising LinkedIn access

The app (WP Auto Publish) is still active in my LinkedIn account.

So it doesn’t seem to be a blocked app issue. It looks like the redirect/auth flow may be broken.

Could you please check if there is any issue with the redirect endpoint or LinkedIn API changes?

Thanks

That license thing is just for the free tier. Wordfence now wants an email to generate a free key. Your personal site probably already has one attached, or it’s an older install that bypassed it. If you only need 2FA, just use a dedicated plugin instead. Way less bloat.
