Practicing safe sex by using condoms will help to prevent infections that are transmitted through sexual contact. In men with benign prostatic hypertrophy, cutting out caffeine and alcohol or taking certain prescription medications may help to improve urine flow and prevent the buildup of urine in the bladder, which increases the likelihood of infection.

Treatment

Doctors treat urinary tract infections with a variety of antibiotics. The results of laboratory tests on your urine can help your doctor pick the best antibiotic for your infection. In general, most uncomplicated lower tract infections will be eliminated completely by seven to 10 days of treatment. Once you finish taking the antibiotics, your doctor may ask for a repeat urine sample to check that bacteria are gone. If an upper tract infection or infection of the prostate is diagnosed, your doctor may prescribe antibiotics for three weeks or longer.

Men with severe upper tract infections may require hospital treatment and antibiotics given through an intravenous catheter (in a vein). This is especially true when nausea, vomiting and fever increase the risk of dehydration and prevent the use of oral antibiotics.

If you are an older man with an enlarged prostate causing an obstruction in your urine flow, treatment options include medications or prostate surgery.

What to do : Urinary Tract Infection in Women

To help prevent urinary tract infections:

Drink several glasses of water each day. Fluids discourage the growth of bacteria by flushing out your urinary tract. Drinking cranberry juice or taking vitamin C supplements also may deter bacterial growth by making your urine more acidic.

Wipe from front to back. To prevent the spread of intestinal bacteria from the rectum to the urinary tract, women always should wipe toilet tissue from front to the back after having a bowel movement.

Decrease the spread of bacteria during sex. If possible, cleanse the area around your genitals before having sex. Urinate after sexual intercourse to flush bacteria from your bladder. If you keep getting infections, you should talk to your doctor about using antibiotics after sex to lower the risk of developing urinary tract infections.

Hard starting or stalling

f your tool fails to become erect, even after repeated cranking, or if you have trouble maintaining an erection, let it rest for a while. Just about every man experiences an occasional erection problem, so try not to let it bother you. If you do, it can develop into a psychological problem that can require extensive systems-analysis to remedy. Chances are, you're just flooded with work worries, anxiety or fatigue - all of which can temporarily foul your engine. Another solution is a vacuum constriction device: When the penis is inserted into this cylinder and the attached pump engages, a vacuum is formed that causes blood to flow into the penile shaft. A rubber ring is then slipped onto the base of the penis to trap the blood in the shaft. As a last resort, you may want to consider upgrading to a penile implant.

Explanation : "I'm too tired" excuse?

Clearly some women and men do say "I'm too tired" when they mean "I don't want to", "I'm too stressed", "I have other things on my mind", or "I'm annoyed with you". What it means probably depends on the person. Often it is a way of getting out of sex without a confrontation -- she could just be mad that you came home late and didn't call or didn't empty the dishwasher.
But the take-home message from this study should be that women (and likely men) are not getting enough sleep, bottom line, and that there are ways men and women, as partners, can improve this. The truth is that for most men size is more an ego issue than anything else.
t’s vital to be aware of the fact that sex is not only about penetration, there is so much more to enjoy and explore. We are all ‘whole-body’ beings. The deepest and most satisfying experiences include all of ourselves, not just our genitals.

There has been such a focus in the media on orgasms that we take that to be the goal of sex. But it’s not a goal-directed act. Sex and sensuality are about love, pleasure, exploring, excitement. Orgasms are great, but there’s more!

It’s also important to note that very few women actually have orgasms through sheer penetration.

Techniques
Techniques that focus on oral stimulation, genital massage, expanded orgasm etc can bring enormous satisfaction, deep pleasure and orgasms.

One of the most amazing sensations is to be found in rubbing the head of your penis, lots of lubricant, on her clitoris. It feels totally different to a finger or tongue.

Different positions will also allow for different internal sensations. Rear-penetration such as ‘doggy’, woman on top, woman on her back, legs over her shoulders will give some very cool sensations, almost regardless the size of a penis

How does pregnancy occur?

Not all pregnancies are welcome and all sexual partners are not always chosen with the kind of care that would be wise. It takes the average woman 27 minutes to reach orgasm compared to 11 minutes for a man. So focus on foreplay and experiment with sexual positions that stimulate the clitoris and G spot. Strengthen your pelvic floor muscles by clenching your pelvic muscles (as if you want to stop yourself passing urine) ten times in quick succession (repeat up to ten times a day). Some women never achieve orgasm but still have satisfying sex lives. Others can be disappointed because their first orgasm isn't earth moving.

At what age should girls be told about menstruation?

Girls (and boys!) should have information by about age 8, some of which may be provided in school. There is no need to explain the act of lovemaking because very young children will not understand the concept.

However, you can say that when a man and a woman love each other, they like to be close to one another. Tell them that the man's sperm joins the woman's egg and then the baby begins to grow. Most children under the age of 6 will accept this answer. Age-appropriate books on the subject are also helpful. They may sound clinical, but there is no reason why the proper label should not be used when the child is capable of saying it. These words - penis, vagina, etc. - should be stated matter-of-factly, with no implied silliness. That way, the child learns to use them in a direct manner, without embarrassment.

In fact, this is what most parents do. My wife and I have been married for three years and have one kid and we are expecting another child soon. Recently, I discovered that my wife has a secret desire to have one-night-stand with other men. She is sexually quite active but is a little shy because of which we do not have a very great sex life. Do you think encouraging her to have such a fling will improve our sex life. I really want my wife to have sex with other men. Please advice.

A. You say that your wife happens to be "little shy" but also happens to be a nymph! Your fantasy seems a bit too far-fetched. Don't even think of suggesting such a mis-adventure to your wife. You should really be mad to do such a thing and take a risk.

Editor's Note: Friends, I have seen many crazy people in my life but this guy takes the cake! Wanting his wife to have one night stand with other men? Must say his wife is very lucky. ;-) On a serious note, do you share his idea of having an extra-marital fling to spice up your sex life? Please post your thoughts in the comments.

Steps to check pregancy

I have mentioned a few steps below:

Step One
Calculate when your period is due. If you have a regular cycle and you keep track of it, a late period is one of the earliest signs of pregnancy.

Step Two
Notice any other changes in your body. Are you extremely sleepy? Are your breasts tender? Are you moody? Though sometimes subtle, these changes can be clear indicators.

Step Three
Buy a home pregnancy test at a pharmacy or grocery store, or online. Choose one with two tests per box so you can double-check your results.

Step Four
Test after you miss a period, or 14 days after you think you conceived.

Step Five
Read and follow the test instructions carefully. Some tell you to urinate in a cup; others say to urinate right on the test stick.

Step Six
If the test is positive, make an appointment with your doctor to confirm with other tests and a physical exam.

Step Seven
Retest after a few days if the test is negative and you still suspect that you're pregnant.

Do the test first thing in the morning, when hormone concentrations are highest.

Home tests claim to be 97 percent accurate. When there are mistakes, they're usually false negatives; false positives are very rare.

Does smoking affect sex life?

Smoking causes male sexual impotence.Smoking increases the risk of erectile dysfunction by around 50 percent for men in their 30s and 40s. Diabetes, high cholesterol levels and drugs used to treat high blood pressure are also important risk factors.
During an erection, large quantities of blood flows, under pressure, into the penile arteries. This causes the veins which drain the penis to become compressed, so preventing the immediate outflow of blood. This process is significantly impaired by smoking.

1. Less blood flows into the penis if the inflow route is blocked by long term build-up of fatty deposits in the arteries (atherosclerosis) caused, in part, by smoking.

2. Rapid contractions in penile tissue, a direct an immediate result of nicotine stimulation in the brain, restrict arterial blood flow into the penis. This is known as acute vasospasm.

3. The valve mechanism that traps blood in the penis is impaired as a result of nicotine in the blood stream. This is known as venous dilation.

The damage caused by smoking to male sexual health also includes:

Reduced volume of ejaculate
Lowered sperm count
Abnormal sperm shape
Impaired sperm motility

So dont let your sex life go up in a smoke, if you know what I mean. Take care my friend and think about quitting smoking.

Maintain eye contact

Proper eye contact is extremely important when it comes to asserting dominance. A truly dominant man or woman can influence a less dominant person with the subtlest of glances. When two dominant people are vying for the role of leader, however, subtlety is no longer an option. Your vixen will try to dominate you by staring straight into your eyes and giving you a wicked grin that promises sexual submission on her terms. Most men, when faced with a woman like this, turn to jelly and happily let her do whatever she pleases. To dominate a dominant woman, however, it’s crucial you don’t fall for this move. Lower your eyelids slightly and stare back while returning that wicked little grin; this tells her she’s going to have to do much better than that if she wants to play Dom. It also tells her you’re capable of the same tricks, which will make her wonder what else you’ve got up your sleeve. While these thoughts are going through her mind, she’s likely to break eye contact and look away -- this is a good indication she’s open to being dominated.

Golden Shower

Different things sexually arouse different people and what turns people on varies from person to person. The important thing to remember is not to pressurise your partner into doing anything she is not comfortable with. Urinating on a person during sex is commonly called a "golden shower" and the most common body parts to be urinated on are the face, breasts, buttocks and genitals. There is a risk that some infection can be passed through urine. So it is best to aim below the neck at unbroken skin in order to minimize risks.

Physical changes in girl after contact

Having sex doesn't cause any physical changes in the body; perhaps emotional, but not physical. Through the sexual life of a female, there will be many occurrences when a period comes late and other pregnancy symptoms occur. Most of the time, just when a woman thinks she is definitely pregnant, the period comes. The best thing that you can do is to get a pregnancy test done and that way, both of you will know for sure. Sometimes a period can be weeks late without pregnancy. Most people in your situation are worried of getting their girlfriend pregnant. Don't worry, she'll be fine.
