Behind her smile, under her skin, inside her body, lives a demon. 20th Century Fox has debuted the first red band trailer for Jennifer's Body starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. This is that new teenage horror movie written by Diablo Cody and produced by Jason Reitman. STYD finally has a trailer and it looks exactly like what I was expecting - sexy, awesome, and violent as all hell. Sure it looks a bit quirky and fun, but what do you expect from Diablo Cody? As always, Megan Fox looks deliciously hot, Amanda Seyfried looks great, and so does everyone else in it. I was already excited for this, but now I'm even more excited!

Italian director Dario Argento is back with his latest horror film, titled Giallo, starring Adrien Brody, Elsa Pataky, and Emmanuelle Seigner. Brody plays Inspector Enzo Avolfi, a police detective who is trying to find a sadistic killer known only as Yellow who is kidnapping beautiful girls off the streets of Torino, Italy. Our friends at Bloody Disgusting have brought us this new trailer today. We ran a promo trailer sometime last year for Giallo, but it was quickly pulled. Unfortunately this looks pretty awful, just bland and boring, and not at all thrilling. Reviews are calling it "laughable and the whole thing was unintentionally hilarious."

Geisha Missile... Geisha Dance... Geisha Army! We're a bit late on getting this up, because it did hit earlier in the week, but I thought it'd still be worthwhile to feature the RoboGeisha trailer on a lazy Sunday like this. RoboGeisha is the latest collaboration between director Noboru Iguchi (Machine Girl) and special effects maestro Yoshihiro Nishimura (Tokyo Gore Police) that features everything you'd normally expect from those two: outrageous special effects, grotesquely hilarious gore, and weapons coming from every part of the body. I'm not really a fan of this madness, but I can appreciate it. The war of the Geisha begins!

Watch the trailer for Noboru Iguchi's RoboGeisha:

Whoa! Now this looks frickin' awesome, that's for damn sure! Twitch has posted a French trailer for Tony Jaa's Ong Bak 2, the long-awaited sequel to Jaa's 2003 martial arts cult classic. This was shot a long time ago - we actually ran a promo trailer for it over a year ago. Now we finally get to see a polished trailer and it definitely looks better than ever. Apparently he fought an actual real, live alligator in this (and there is a glimpse of that scene in the trailer). And I'm guessing all those elephants were real, too. I can't wait to see this, hopefully sooner than later. Damnit, those lucky French get to see it later this month. Fire this up!

A young Thai boxer learns the skills and inner meaning of martial arts. Does this just look badass or what?

Ong Bak 2 is directed by and stars Thai martial artist Tony Jaa himself as his feature directorial debut. The script was written by stunt coordinator and filmmaker Panna Rittikrai who previously wrote the screenplay for Ong Bak and Born to Fight. This was shot in late 2006 and early 2007 and it already hit theaters in Thailand last December. The Weinstein Company has the distribution rights for the film and is expected to release Ong Bak 2 in the US hopefully sometime later this year. We'll keep you updated on its US release!

This is aiming for one of those five extra Best Picture nomination spots. I can already tell. The first trailer for Jim Sheridan's Brothers has finally showed up on YouTube (via The Playlist) courtesy of ET even though it's already showing in theaters in front of Public Enemies. Brothers stars Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Tobey Maguire and is yet another Iraq / Afghanistan movie like every other one we've seen come and go in the last few years. Sure, it looks emotional, it looks like a tough story for many reasons, and it has a good cast, but is it going to actually be any good? We'll find out in December whether it is or not.

Anchor Bay Films has debuted a trailer for the Ashton Kutcher indie comedy Spread. I know that quite a few people hate Kutcher, but even so, I hope they'll give this indie a chance. Spread premiere at Sundance in January which is where I first got to see it. Let me to tell you, this movie has lots of sex, I mean a lot of sex in it. After seeing it, I wasn't sure what to think, and I wasn't sure if I even liked it. But as time has gone on, I've found myself thinking about it more, not just for the sex, but for the iconic Hollywood story that it tells. It also seems like a story about Kutcher's actual life in Hollywood. You'll see what I mean. Check this out!

This is just messed up. No seriously, this movie is f**ked up! Bloody Disgusting has scored a very red band full-length trailer for Deadgirl, an indie horror flick I saw with Peter of SlashFilm last year in Toronto (read my review). We actually featured a short teaser for this last September, but it doesn't even compare to this trailer. I would suggest you watch this trailer only if you can stomach most horror movies and if you're not already revolted at the concept. Basically, two teens find a zombie-ish dead girl in an abandoned mental hospital basement and realize that if they keep her locked up, she makes for a great sex toy. Enjoy this!

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs opens today and that means all the other studios (mainly Sony Pictures) are putting out there new trailers for their upcoming animated movies. In addition to the new trailer for Planet 51, Sony has debuted the second full trailer for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs featuring the voices of Bill Hader as Flint Lockwood and Anna Faris as Sam. In comparison to Planet 51, I actually want to see this one just a bit more. Something about all that food and the comedy, it just gets me. Though I'm worried that like Sony Animation's last movie, Surf's Up, it won't be as good as the trailers make it seem.

Watch the second trailer for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs:

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs opens today and that means all the other studios (mainly Sony Pictures) are putting out there new trailers for their upcoming animated movies. First up we have the second full length trailer for Planet 51 on Yahoo. Featuring the voice talents of Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, and John Cleese. The story is a complete spin on the normal sci-fi tale in that an astronaut lands on a planet and discovers a new civilization, except to them, he is the alien. This looks quirky and fun, like any other animated movie. Nice touch with The Killer's "Spaceman", too.

Watch the theatrical trailer for Planet 51:

Way back before Chris Pine had ever even dreamt of becoming Captain Kirk, he starred in a post-apocalyptic indie thriller called Carriers directed by two Spanish brothers. Paramount Vantage, which no longer exists, has held onto the film ever since it was shot in 2006. They're now finally planning to dump it in theaters this September, most likely because they know that it has some potential after Pine blew everyone away in Star Trek. The first trailer for Carriers has hit and it actually doesn't look half bad. It's hard to tell if it will be any good, but it has a bit of a 28 Days Later feel to it, set in New Mexico rather than London. Check it out!

Don't worry, this isn't truly "unbelievable," I just love this promo photo that Apple used. Warner Brothers has debuted the trailer for Steven Soderbergh's The Informant starring Matt Damon as FBI informant Mark Whitacre. Okay, this actually looks funnier than the Couples Retreat trailer that just debuted earlier today. I didn't know what to even expect, but damn, this looks great! I frickin' love Steven Soderbergh so damn much. He's unbelievably versatile and can direct almost anything, comedy, drama, indie, thriller, almost anything. With Matt Damon leading the way this time, it looks like he's got a solid hit on his hands!

Mike and Trent are back! Universal has debuted the first trailer for Couples Retreat on Apple today. Just looking at the cast, I'd say this is the ensemble comedy of the year. Here are the four couples: Kristen Bell and Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau and Kristin Davis, Vince Vaughn and Malin Akerman, and Faizon Love and Kali Hawk. This seems like one hell of a wild, quirky, fun comedy, what more can I say? It also looks a lot like Forgetting Sarah Marshall but with four couples instead of just one. Upping the ante, so to say. I'm certainly looking forward to this. And don't forget, A.R. Rahman is scoring Couples Retreat as well. Enjoy!

Now this finally looks like a badass Quentin Tarantino movie! A new French trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds has hit the web (via YouTube) and it's definitely a must watch. I've been waiting to see a trailer that not only does a good job of actually selling the movie, but is just plain awesome itself, and this is finally it. Not only does it actually stick to the real story about the movie premiere in Paris, but it has a great Tarantino vibe to it that was never in either of the first two trailers. Whether you're still waiting to see something more or are already looking forward to this, you need to watch this new trailer either way.

You can catch my review of Inglourious Basterds from Cannes right here if you haven't already. Excited?

Just last week, Disney debuted the official US trailer for Ponyo, the newest Hayao Miyazaki film hitting theaters here fairly soon. However, I feel like the trailer got lost in the mix last week, with the debut of Transformers 2 and everything. Additionally, Disney has released a slightly different version of that same trailer that includes an extended segment in the middle highlighting the actors they hired to voice this US release of the film. Drew McWeeny at HitFix just reviewed it: "Ponyo is a singular experience, animation as pure emotion, a love story and an adventure and one of the real treats for 2009 so far." I hope you enjoy!

As always, I love featuring new trailers for movies no one has ever heard of on the weekend. Today I've got a great new trailer for a Russian film called Forbidden Reality from our friends at Quiet Earth. In addition to Forbidden Reality, this has also gone by the names Smersh XXI and The Interceptor as well. The trailer is in Russian, unfortunately, but there's still a lot of action and a lot of badass visuals that make it worth watching anyway. I don't really know much about the story and its from a first time director, but it's a sci-fi action film that just looks awesome. With that said, I highly suggest checking this out, you might just dig it!

Formerly known as This Side of the Truth, the trailer for The Invention of Lying starring, written, and directed by British comedian Ricky Gervais has hit Yahoo today. Here's the concept: Imagine a world where everyone can only tell the truth. And no-one has ever lied. There are no big lies. There are no small lies. Not even white lies. Until one man discovered how to lie. It looks like a quirky, crazy, fun comedy, similar to Bruce Almighty, except this has Ricky Gervais instead of Jim Carrey. I'm not dying to see this, but it does look good. And if you want to see a slightly different trailer, a UK version hit earlier today as well.

Lionsgate has finally debuted the first trailer for the new vampire flick Daybreakers that stars Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, and Sam Neill. I would love to go more into the story, but this trailer does a brilliant job of introducing exactly what it's about, so I just suggest you watch it (instead). Another vampire movie, you say? Don't worry, this is nothing like Twilight or True Blood or especially Park Chan-wook's Thirst. The first half of this trailer didn't really impress me much - it wasn't until Willem Dafoe showed up and we got to see some beautiful slow-mo shots that I started actually get genuinely excited for Daybreakers. Enjoy!

Fox Searchlight has just debuted the trailer for Mira Nair's Amelia, the biopic starring Hilary Swank as Amelia Earhart. In addition to Swank, this also stars Ewan McGregor, Richard Gere, Virginia Madsen, Joe Anderson, Christopher Eccleston, and Mia Wasikowska. I will admit that I think Amy Adams plays a much cuter Amelia Earhart (in Night at the Museum 2), but Swank plays a much more realistic one. This looks like a great biopic but not much more. I'm sure it'll still be a wonderful film, as Mira Nair is a talented filmmaker, but like with The Aviator, I don't expect to love it. Anyway, let us know what you think of this!

Watch the official trailer for Mira Nair's Amelia:

Amelia is directed by Indian filmmaker Mira Nair, of Monsoon Wedding, Vanity Fair, and The Namesake previously. The screenplay was written by Oscar winning writer Ronald Bass, of a great amount of films including Rain Man, When a Man Loves a Woman, Dangerous Minds, Waiting to Exhale, My Best Friend's Wedding, What Dreams May Come, Entrapment, and Mozart and the Whale most recently. This is based on numerous biographies of Amelia Earhart written by authors Susan Butler, Mary Lovell, and Elgen Long. Fox Searchlight will finally be bringing Amelia to limited theaters starting on October 23rd this fall.

Warner Brothers has debuted the first trailer on AOL for Richard Kelly's The Box starring Cameron Diaz, James Marsden, and Frank Langella. This is a story almost everyone is familiar with - about a box with a button that when pressed makes the owner wealthy but causes some other harm somewhere in the world. But in the hands of Richard Kelly, this story isn't that simple. This definitely looks like he's back to his Donnie Darko roots, since those who saw his second film, Southland Tales, know it was a disaster. This looks a lot creepier than I expected. And I have no clue what's going on at the end, but I want to see it.

For those unfamiliar with Richard Kelly, he's the up-and-coming filmmaker who brought us Donnie Darko in 2001 and followed that up with Southland Tales in 2007. The Box is his third feature. Look any good?

Disney has finally debuted the official US trailer for Hayao Miyazaki's latest animated feature, Ponyo, known in Japan as Ponyo on the Cliff. I've been waiting patiently for more than a year now to see this, since it actually hit Japanese theaters last summer. As wonderful as it looks, especially all of the animation, I just can't stand the dubbed voices. Something about hearing English voices when I know I should be hearing Japanese voices throws me off. It's hard for me to watch a Miyazaki movie dubbed and I'm not sure I'll make an exception here. But with that said, this still looks great, like an adventure for the whole family. Enjoy!
