I fell behind in posting the People’s Choice and my picks for the last 2 weeks but I will combine the two here. Well it Film Friday again and this weeks submission have been super inspiring. My life has been pretty busy this last week or so with the holidays and needing to prepare for the Photography Death Match on Google Plus this last Monday. If you don’t know what that is I suggest you go check it out. It is put on by +Samir Osman (website) and +Tamara Pruessner (website). I was pared up against a fantastic photographer out of Louisville by the name of  +Nick Gatens (website) in the “ring” of Architecture. I lost but that’s OK Nick is a great photographer and in competing with him I learned a lot. To see the exchanges click here.

This week I have implemented a “Peoples Choice” feature to the +Film Friday page. Form here on out I will be picking 9 or so photos out the the lot submitted and featuring the photo that gets the most +1′s over the weekend. This weeks People’s Choice was the above shot by +Samuel Estok (website). Samuel is a frequent submitter and this photo was sot on Fuji Velvia 50 using a Canon FD 15mm fisheye lens.

This is 4x5 sheet Color negative film. It was in a pinhole camera made from a round Quaker Oats box. The film was then put in between the pages of a bible to be transported to the lab.

This week Film Friday  on Google Plus had a record 52 submissions. That is amazing for the 5th week of doing this Photo Theme. Great work for those that have been participating.
