“Oh my God, yeah,” said Reaser, who plays vampire matriarch Esme Cullen in the film franchise, when asked about the idea of a Twilight tuner. “I definitely think [a musical adaptation would work]. It could be romantic and hilarious," she said. "Anything that people connect with in such a deep way could be fun,” explained the stage and screen vet. “It just depends on who is doing it, but I’m all for it."

BULLETT: Have you spent much time in New York?

ELIZABETH REASER: I went to school here at Juilliard at Lincoln Center, and then I lived here until I was absolutely forced to go to Los Angeles. [Laughs.] But I actually kind of love it there now. I have a different personality there.
B: I saw Young Adult, but haven’t yet seen the new installment of Twilight—
ER: That is, like, the only time I’ll ever hear that in my life!

B: Which raises the question, what’s Robert Pattinson like?
ER: [Laughter.] Oh my god, stop!
B: Tell me about Young Adult. Since you’re playing a human being in this one, as opposed to a vampire, people might assume you’re more like Beth than Esme Cullen.
ER: Except for that fact that she’s human and that she’s from the Midwest, we’re nothing alike. I have a face that people assume belongs to a nice person, and so I often get cast as the warm, maternal character—when I’m playing humans. It was actually really challenging to play Beth, because I’m so far away from her—a wife and mother who lives in the town where she grew up. I know that world, and part of me really loves it, but I couldn’t be further from it in my real life.

MYSPACE: So how you doing today?
ELIZABETH REASER: I’m great. I’m kind of real excited to be back here. I miss, you know, these junkets are weirdly kind of fun, because we’re all like a little family and then, you know, your hair and makeup people come and that’s fun and it’s just – it’s nice.

MYSPACE: And I imagine for this one, the people coming to talk to you include a lot of fans of the series, so they’re really excited about it too.
ELIZABETH REASER: That’s the thing, I guess being part of something where there are people that get more excited than normal to talk to you about these movies. So it’s kind of nice to have real actual fans of the movie.

MYSPACE: How do you feel about ‘Twilight’ being in the home stretch now? This was a really intense one, but it’s almost over. What is that like for you?
ELIZABETH REASER: I’m excited. I feel really satisfied with the experience, because we got to tell the story and we got to finish it and it ended, you know, the way it needed to end. I’m just thrilled that it’s so good. I can’t believe how great the movie was. I saw it a few weeks ago and, when you’re making a movie you have no idea. And obviously I know Bill (Condon) is brilliant and we had a great DP, but I just had no idea that I could be a fan of these movies again.
And watching this movie made me feel like a fan. I haven’t felt that way, really since the first one. Once you’re working on something, you’re too in your head about it. And (watching it) you remember, “Oh, that was the day when I had a stomach ache and blah, blah, blah,” you know? So I completely forgot about all that while watching it.

MYSPACE: This film has all the book’s really shocking moments, like the sex scene, the birth scene. Was there any trepidation entering into this, like “Okay, we’re going to do this.” What was that like for you coming in as an actor?
ELIZABETH REASER: You know, it was fun, I mean, it was different. It put us in different situations as actors and we were suddenly dealing with blood and things that we hadn’t really been dealing with, even though we’ve been playing vampires all these years. So I thought it was really fun and I think that Bill handled it so brilliantly. I mean, we also knew we were in great hands and that was going to be tasteful and riveting and scary freaky, and I think that that’s what it is. I think he was able to make it this really high-end kind of movie and yet it still has all these scary freaky sexy moments in it and – he’s amazing.

Two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz will star opposite Emmy Award nominee Elizabeth Reaser in Second Stage Theatre’s revival of Paula Vogel’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, How I Learned to Drive, January 24-March 11, with an opening on February 13. Kate Whoriskey will direct.

Liz was also joined Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed to answer a few questions.

Question: What have you learned about your characters?

Jackson: I’ve preferred not to be a blonde.

Elizabeth: I’ve learned patience. (laughs) No, I’ve learned a lot from Esme. She’s always looking for a way to love someone, a way to be kind. That doesn’t come naturally to me all the time. It was good practice.
Nikki: Sometimes playing the not most likable character is challenging because people think it’s a reflection of me. I’ve found a healthy balance of defending our differences, I think

Question: Was there a collective sigh of relief on the last day on set? No longer having to keep up the immortal appearance?

Peter: For me I spent so much time trying to stay out of the sun because the more color you had the more makeup you had to have. When I went to my daught’ers soccer game I looked like the uni bomber.

Question: How do you feel about saying goodbye to these characters? You’ve basically finished it.

Jackson: It’s nice to hang up the contacts. But we have the premiere coming up in a couple days, and then next year, it doesn’t feel like it’s over.

Peter: It feels like a part of it is over. Next year it will feel more complete. Because we’ll see each other during press now, press next year. We still have another year together. It doesn’t feel completely over.
Nikki: We’re both used to revisiting these projects. Everyone asks about the last day of filming. I wish I was creative enough to make up a dramatic tale. It was freezing and we just wanted to get inside. There wasn’t a river of tears. Maybe in 3 or 4 years, if I don’t have a job, I’ll be sad.
Elizabeth: Next year we’ll be sad.
Peter: The end of filming was strange. 1st unit wrapped, then there was a separate film wrap mark. I do remember on last day with Elizabeth hugging which felt like forever.

Yesterday, we posted an article on Elizabeth at Time Warner’s Beyond 9/11 Photo Exhibit as well as an interview with Hollywood Life. These guys have now released another part of the interview where Elizabeth talks about her Twilight co-stars

“I adore Rob and Kristen. They are like family to me,” Elizabeth says. “They are both very shy and very sweet. Kristen is just a little sweetheart and I love her. And Rob is the same guy I met four years ago. I don’t even think of them as celebrities until I’m going somewhere where they will be and then there’s screaming and freaking out. It almost doesn’t register until we’re in a setting like Comic Con.”

“It’s just the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to,” Elizabeth told us at the opening of Marco Grob’s TIME Portrait Series exhibition. “And I don’t want to diss all of the other weddings that I’ve been to in my life.”

Hey everyone! Long time no talk,right? Well today I'm going to write this quick little post about the shoes Liz wore to the ComicCon in San Diego.

The "Morning shoes" as I call them are by Nicholas Kirkwood and their real name is Elastic Platform Sandals. They're quite pretty,I don't know how comfortable they are but they look fairly comfortable. I found a pair similar to those at bluefly.com $716 (US dollars) which isn't really affordable but in case you want to get them,the link will be in the bottom of the post.
The night shoes are also by Nicholas Kirkwood,they're called "Booties" but I think they look more like sandals. I couldn't find an affordable alternative but if you are interested on paying the full price (which is about $1,106) you can go to saks.com,neimanmarcus.com or barneys.com
Now my opinion on the shoes is that both are gorgeous but I would've gone with the black ones for the night and the white ones for the panels in the morning.
