Ok, enough with that, it’s been some time since my last entry so there’s a few things I need to mention…

First, I hope you guys like the new layout~ It was a fairly simple ‘make over’ job, the hardest thing was trying to figure out where to place each colour, some of you may have seen some changes happening as you visited, lol! The layout is the same, just different colours, a background [stolen from my twitter account, hehe~] and no random header images any more [they may come back on my next layout change].

Second, posts for my Chile trip have been placed aside for a while still, have had so many things to do since I got back, it’s not funny [ok, it is ;P]. I’ll probably get to them after SMASH!.

Speaking of smash, we have an artist table on Sunday~! My brother, now known as Ou7, will be the main person there during the day but I should be there most of the time too, so say hello~ We’ll be selling a few pieces of Yoko fanart and some other goodies I still haven’t finished, running out of time D: There will be a few gifts to give out [Yui postcards, yay~] and maybe a give away, not sure about that just yet.
Plans are to visit the karaoke room often for free singing on Saturday and the competition on Sunday. Adun of Moe Moe Rabu has a ABJD photography panel happening, so I’ll be there as well. For more info on events and happenings for smash check the SMASH! 2009 Schedule Map.

Hrmm… was going to sticky this post but no need ^^;; I may have another post up with more details on the items we’ve been preparing for our table.

As to when I’ll post? Well, I can’t quite post any of my photos yet as I have quite few to go through [try over 16gb! orz] before I even think about starting on any posts regarding my trip to Chile xD; I’ll get to it, eventually… I’ll just say I had fun and would definitely go again, next time with more funds lol~

SMASH! is coming soon~ and we’re officially part of the artist circle for Sunday~ We wanted Saturday & Sunday, but we were too slow with the application and missed out orz… not to worry, we’ll see how we go this year before we decide on anything for next year [will apply earlier if we do end up doing so again... likely xD;]. For anyone following Twitter, you would have noticed I update most major events that happen during my time here… have load of photos, but no appropriate computer to edit them on ;_; So all blog entries will have to wait until I get back to Sydney.

Have had almost no time to visit anyone’s blog and less time to comment so I apologise ;_; Am totally missing you guys and reading your blogs like I used to… especially the ones I read regularly on my blogroll.

Am actually in Pitrufquén atm, will be heading back to Santiago tomorrow morning by bus. Will have more regular internet access then.

[update 04/04] I just realised this was posted on April 1st! Not an April Fool’s joke, am definitely in Chile ^^;;;

I’m missing a post [or 2 xD;;], will get to it later, but for now read on to find out about the Gashapons~

Attended a meeting along with my dad on Monday night for LR, I love their products so I go along for the monthly meetings x3.

Anyhow, went to our local shopping centre straight after to buy bread and as we walked out discovered this little hidden treasure xD

I only found out about gashapons last year thanks to the community at dannychoo.com, and there’s never any sort of japanese merchandise around here u_u~

Gundam 00 SD~ So cute~ There was another set of machines in another section of the centre but I didn’t notice them, my dad mentioned it only when we got to the car orz

Unfortunately I didn’t have any $2 coins, wanted to cry u_u~ wanted to get at least one SD to take home with me but I didn’t want to go back to the shops for change, it was late and I was tired lol~

My dad mentioned finding another set of these machines at our local Westfield, so if you’re in Sydney have a look around your local shopping centres, especially Westfield, you just might find one or more ;3

This be Caramelle, designed her around March early this year, maybe April , I mean it has been awhile >3>;;
Her design was based on my girlfriend Jaime. The outfit was inspired by my shared interest with Jaime for cat girls, swimsuit girls and maids. Though I didn’t add an apron since I felt it kinda detracted from her cuteness in a way and the gloves as well as the neck bow did a good enough job to portray a maid like look.

Drawing was done on paper then scanned onto Photoshop CS2 where I cleaned and coloured it. Logo was thanks to my sister Koshiko, sankyuu <3

Madman is having a huge sale at this very moment!

I was kinda bummed when I sent a few Gundam links to my brother but it turned out they were out of stock… was I too late in visiting? The problem was Madman doesn’t label their email properly, it says from ‘newsletter’ and the title didn’t mention it either, just something along the lines of ‘Otaku wear’, actually, here’s the full title as it was written:

Anyhow, managed to visit it earlier and woah, quite a few rare figures =o go have a look now! And click the ‘read more’ to find out what my brother and I ordered for ourselves ;3

Fwee~ our very first ‘proper’ figures order, Shin buys all his Gundams in Sydney and the only figure I’ve bought was at Smash , a Haruhi Nendoroid, which you can see on my About page.

While not huge fans of the Evangelion series, it was one of the first anime series we ever watched [during its first screening on SBS] and so will always have some sort of special meaning to us. Plus we’re artists and love figures in general for inspiration ;3

As for Yagami Light, I prefer L, but Light has a more flexible outfit, you can take his jacket off :3 I’ve been wanting a Ball-jointed doll for ages so when this one came up at only $150, I jumped at the chance [my brother actually pointed it out, I missed it while browsing xD;;]. For a good quality BJ Doll, you’re looking at over $500 for a standard version, even more for limited or special editions.

Once our loot arrives, I’ll be sure to take lots of photos and such so keep an eye out~ ;3

The Gundam series, characters and kits/Gunpla belong to their respective companies, I take no credit for their creation. I do claim credit for the creation of the wallpaper though ;P

First off, spent about 10-20 minutes calling up my local JB Hi-Fi store on Wednesday 29th, and slowly working my way to the city ones. The Parramatta George St store offered to order it in for me, but I said I’d get back to them ^^; called JB at the Galleries Victoria after that and bingo~! Organising a time for me to pick up [sometime between 3-4pm] since the cameras were on sale at 10% off, Natalie mentioned it was likely they’d be sold out otherwise.

Shin and I cut it quite close as we arrived at Town Hall at 3 and we had trouble finding an atm for my bank in TGV and the Queen Victoria Building >.<; finally decided just to go up to the one near Woolworth >.>;

When we arrived it turns out there was some sort of mix-up and my camera was put on display even though it was set aside for me. I still got it, and with an extra discount on top, hehe~ bought a 4gb 15mb/sec Sandisk card which was on special too, normal price was $38, got it for $29 <3. The sales girl, Natalie, was pointing out the 20mb/sec card, but too expensive, $50 x_x; do I really need that much speed at the moment? I didn't think so... Also got a carry bag, but not too happy with it as it seems a slightly tight fit =/ meh.

Went upstairs to Kinokuniya to pick up Shin's Shana novel after, but it turns out they got the order wrong and brought in the manga instead >.>;; placed another order, hopefully no mistakes this time ^^;;
Also picked up a manga ‘phonebook’, hehe, I think it’s by Kadokawa? It has a Phoenix on the spine =/ It also came with a freebie~ will post sometime soon so you can see xD;

Headed across to Ichiban Boshi after for food~

We arrived when it was still quite empty, so we got a really nice window spot :3

The rice green tea was really nice, the only problem was if you left it sitting for too long, the tea was really strong from the pot xD;; I opened it up when it was nearly finished and the bags they use are big~! Click for a close up of one of the cups, my favourite shot for the day :3

So, what did we order?

I ordered Tokyo ramen~ very nice, I enjoyed it, but it took me so long to eat that it was getting cold near the end u_u~

Shin’s order was Miso ramen, I didn’t try it, but he enjoyed it. He also had the last bit of my ramen even though it was cold, want not, waste not eh? xD;

We actually ordered the set which was $16 each, so our ramen each came with a plate of the above. We were so full by the time we finished the ramen, there was no space for this! We simply asked for a container so we could take it home with us, hehe~ And the container’s pretty big, we easily fit in the two dishes =D [especially as we didn't bother with the red part top left... it was spicy >.<;;]

World Square was our next stop~ and look what we found x3

Konata’s choco cornet~ :3 ok… so it’s like not totally the same, but close xD; And you can see by the label that they call it a “Choc Horn” =o

We bought 2 of these, they were nice, but didn’t really have a ‘melon’ taste, it was just nice bread with sugary outside layer. If you don’t try this one, then try one of the many others available, they’re really nice~

And it looks like I’ll be revealing what’s in the bag next time xD;; Some of you may already know what it is, but I’ll be reviewing it with more details anyhow so please stay tuned~
