You have most likely been redirected to this blog post after expecting to see my design showcase, Refresh. Well, after some deliberation, I have decided that it is unfortunately time to retire the site.

The main reason for this is that the internet is now saturated with design showcases and blogs and while my site was once innovative, it is now one of many doing the same job.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the emails and site submissions over the last four years.

In the meantime, if you’re still on the look out for some interesting design please bookmark this site as this is where any new and exciting projects will be launched. I also highly recommend you check out FormFiftyFive.

I am sick of reading and hearing about Juan Cabral, the guy behind the supposedly ‘original’ and ‘creative’ Sony Bravia ads.
In short, him and the company he works for, Fallon, are a bunch of plagiarists.

The first t-shirts I’ve designed for Airside are now available at our online shop. The two designs are based on the premise that you are either a day person or a night person - some people spend their days self-righteously rising when the cock crows, whistling while they walk the dog and buy the paper.

Others drag themselves out of bed unable to function without a caffeine mainline due to a previous evening’s drinking and howling with the wolves until 4am.

I was recently invited by Design Week to submit an article nominating my favourite creative digital artist. My piece on Yugo Nakamura is in the current edition of the magazine. Other people invited to submit included Tom Roope, Daljit Singh,

Malcolm Garrett and Gary Holt. The Design Week supplement has been published to tie in with the iDesign event on at the South Bank tomorrow.

After making the most of a few hours here and there tinkering about in photoshop and getting my hands dirty with some HTML, I’ve surprised myself by finally getting my new site live.

There’s a lot of work yet to be done, like updating my portfolio and photography, but I thought I’d get the site live anyway. Comments and criticism welcome.

I’ve just finished helping illustrator, designer and all round insane genius, Dick Hogg with a few tweaks to his web site.
Dick used to work at Airside but is now going it alone. Good luck to him, not that he’ll need it.  Especially with his DIY sex-bot, pictured above.

I’ve just started using a great new little tool I came across last week, FFFFOUND! - which allows users to bookmark specific images they encounter while browsing online. It’s well worth a look.
