Responsibilities: * Programming an authenticatable REST API for the FWD:labs content management system
* Scaling the function and class libraries across multiple servers
* Integrating with tier 2 SSL on Google Checkout
* Implementing secure version controlling, including rsync with SSH
* Improving staging vs. production environments, including cronjobs
* Evolving existing features and adding new ones
* Availability for 5-10 hours of work per week with same-day or next-day, regular communication and updates
Qualifications: * Advanced LAMP development
* Experience with programming, documenting, and using REST APIs outputting XML and JSON
* Interest in film and filmmaker websites
* Superior writing and communication skills
* Ideally based in Los Angeles, New York, or San Francisco but can be anywhere in the world
